I know myself not to be a big fan of romantic comedies, I'm more of a high octane action kinda guy. I love it when the adrenaline is rushing and everything is fast paced. But that does not mean that I haven't seen some real good 'rom-com'. Somehow choosing favour romantic comedy was a hit tough.
I've seen a great deal of some nice romantic comedy movies like Harry meet styles Love and basketball Love don't cost a thing Think like a man etc
But none comes close to "The Proposal" for me. I don't know if it's because of Ryan in the movie. I'm an unapologetic lover of Ryan Reynolds but that aside. "The Proposal was a great movie for me. I laughed so hard that I nearly ran out of laughs.

*A little plot of the movie.." The plot of the movie revolves around Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock), a successful editor who faces deportation to Canada due to an expired visa. In order to avoid being sent back, she convinces her assistant, Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds), to marry her in a fake engagement. However, the situation becomes complicated when they must travel to Alaska to meet Andrew's family and convince them of their love.
I was wowed by the chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. It is one of the many things that make the movie great. Their on-screen dynamic is both hilarious and heartwarming, as they go from being boss and assistant to friends and eventually, lovers. The movie also had or featured great performances from the supporting cast, like Betty White, who played the character of Andrew's eccentric grandmother. I'm sure the the film's director, Anne Fletcher, has a great eye for detail and a knack for bringing out the best in her actors.
I wouldn't forget one of my hilarious scenes in the movie. Which was the hilarious "naked scene," in which Margaret and Andrew must hide their naked bodies from Andrew's family. The scene is a perfect example of the movie's ability to balance humor and heart, as it showcases the characters' vulnerability and their growing feelings for each other.
The film's pacing is excellent, with a balance of witty dialogue, tender moments, and comedic set pieces that keep the story moving forward. The script is well-written, with well-defined characters that are both likable and relatable. The cinematography captures the beauty of Alaska's landscape, and the movie's soundtrack is a perfect complement to the story.
