Movie Review: She Must Be Obeyed—Season 1 Ep2.

Review by @marsdave 🏆#111 🔥32 🎵33 🎬25 📺8 · 8h · of she-must-be-obeyed

Welcome once again to my blog; today we're diving into the second episode of SHE. The first episode introduces her to who she actually is, both her fake good side and her other real bad side. Also, it shows how the rivalry between Siyanbola (SHE) and Tito started. That was after Tito won an award that Siyanbola wanted at all costs. That thought of losing made her become bitter towards her.

Now, I love the part where she lost to Tito and what she did immediately after; you want to guess...? Well, she went ahead and began to use various fake social media accounts to drag, attack, and badmouth her. I just love this movie so much, and it opens us to the things that are actually going on in the music industry, the hatred a lot of them have for each other, and how they can be so bitter against one another.

Episode two as well seems to be more focused on Adaeze and SHE (Siyanbola) in different ways. It is focused on Adaeze in the sense that we began to see who she actually is, her struggles, her sufferings, and, most importantly, how she's so, so connected to Siyanbola's success, while it is focused on Siyanbola in the sense that she refuses to accept her loss to Tito and is busy trying her best to water down her victory and achievements.

And like I said earlier, Siyanbola's success is connected to Adaeze, and it is something you can't just wait to discover. What does the lowlife Adaeze know about the great, popular, rich, and famous Siyanbola? What is the relationship between them? Why is Adaeze still suffering even when she knew Siyanbola was a wealthy woman? What could be the secret between them? Well, one thing I would leave you with is that that thing that's between them is something so big and powerful that it cannot just threaten Siyanbola's career, but it can also end it.

I love this second episode much more than the first episode, and I love that the movie is becoming more interesting. It reveals who she really is, what she can do, and her relationship with Adaeze. I just can't stop thinking about her hatred for Tito, like she just doesn't want any other person to be seen or celebrated. She just wants to be the only one. She wants to be the only one everyone is clapping for; she wants to be the only person being celebrated. Not only that, but she wants to be the talk of the town, like everything should just revolve around her alone.

Imagine how she even went to the extent of using hundreds of fake social media accounts to bash and attack her. It is very funny to me, though, and the way she was sitting there looking all battered and ugly and all made it even funnier. It shows how desperate, frustrated, bitter, sad, and greedy she is. And I just had to use that word "greedy" for her because she's already well-to-do, she's famous, she's won lots of awards too, and she's doing very well for herself, so why stoop so low to start creating fake accounts to water down someone else's achievement? Though to be honest with you, it wasn't as if Tito too was innocent, even still Siyanbola was going too far and for me stooping so low considering the fact that she's as well not even real, so why become so bitter.

And Adaeze, I love her introduction, even though it seems she appears in the first episode too, but it was this second episode that really dwelled on her. And it got me glued, especially seeing how someone who's so connected to Siyanbola can be struggling and suffering this much. And I can't help but wonder what's between them, what made them close, and how that Siyanbola could be treating her that way. Well, I later got to know why. I got to know that she's the one behind Siyanbola's success, and if what she's doing and using her for should get out in the open, then Siyanbola is done for.

I enjoyed this particular episode so much that I can't really point out anything that's so odd in it, and even if there is, then the good ones did very well to complement it.

Now, we're left to see and know what exactly it is Siyanbola is hiding. What's the secret between SHE (Siyanbola) and Adaeze?
