Un saludos especial a todos, he regresado a esta comunidad que es de mi favoritas en hive, estoy emocionada porque he estado trabajando en esta presentación de mi contenido con muchas reseñas y críticas que espero sea de su agrado. El mundo del cine y la televisión es una parte fundamental en mi vida y compartir sobre ello me genera felicidad, hoy les voy hablar sobre una película que me tomé el tiempo de ver ayer y que dejo a su decisión si darle una oportunidad o no, esto es sobre: hola, adiós y todo lo que pasó.

The world of film and television is a fundamental part of my life and sharing about it generates happiness for me, today I will talk about a movie that I took the time to watch yesterday and I leave to your decision whether to give it a chance or not, this is about: hello, goodbye and everything in between.

Sinopsis e información

Tras pactar que romperían antes de la universidad, Clare y Aidan viven una cita épica en su última noche como pareja. Mientras rememoran su relación, desde que se conocieron hasta el primer beso y la primera pelea, se acercan a un punto de inflexión en busca de respuestas: ¿deberían seguir juntos o despedirse para siempre?

Esa es la palabra mágica de la película, utilizada tantas veces para sustituir el te amo que queda grabada en la memoria. Este término o expresión anima al hecho de disfrutar el presente, se hizo popular gracias al poeta Horario en su obra Odas y en esta producción es la madre de la idea principal y lo que más sobresale para mí luego de recapitular la historia.

That is the magic word of the film, used so many times to replace I love you that it remains engraved in the memory. This term or expression encourages the fact of enjoying the present, it became popular thanks to the poet Horario in his work Odes and in this production it is the mother of the main idea and what stands out the most for me after recapitulating the story.

El título es bastante interesante ❝hola, adiós y todo lo que pasó❞ considero que es lo suficientemente atractivo como para captar al espectador, es más, podría prometer más de lo que al final es. El trabajo fotográfico y edición con sus portadas y banners promocionales también fueron un trabajo bastante bueno, fue lo que principalmente me empujó a ver la película, sin embargo esta no le hace justicia. Todo en general da entender que será una historia de amor adolescente con una premisa diferente, también el hecho del protagonismo por una pareja interracial ya crea lazos por la inclusión, y al haber visto participaciones del actor con anterioridad consideré muy emocionante que por fin tuviera un protagonico, eso era lo cautivador de la película, pero las promesas quedaron en el aire.

The title is quite interesting «hello, goodbye and everything in between» I think it is attractive enough to capture the viewer, moreover, it could promise more than what it is in the end. The photo work and editing with its covers and promotional banners were also a pretty good job, it was what mainly pushed me to see the movie, however this one doesn't do it justice. Everything in general suggests that it will be a teenage love story with a different premise, also the fact of the protagonism by an interracial couple already creates bonds for inclusion, and having seen the actor's participation previously I considered it very exciting that he finally had a leading role, that was the captivating thing about the film, but the promises were left in the air.

Es una producción que está más dirigida a un público específico, pienso que se limitaron mucho con los subgéneros de la trama que podían haber utilizado, pero si eres un adolescente con una relación sentimental y estás a punto de entrar en la etapa universitaria puede que la película sea para ti, y no me malinterpretes, sí hay ciertas cosas que salvar de qué no hacer en una situación parecida, pero en general carece de la emoción para atrapar al televidente.

It is a production that is more aimed at a specific audience, I think they were very limited with the plot subgenres they could have used, but if you are a teenager in a romantic relationship and about to enter the college stage the movie may be for you, and don't get me wrong, yes there are certain things to save from what not to do in a similar situation, but overall it lacks the emotion to grab the viewer.

La premisa de la historia es la vida de dos adolescentes que deciden salir estableciendo una fecha de caducidad para su relación sentimental y que están en el punto exacto del cambio de etapa estudiantil más importante; el plus de esta historia es el momento en el que deciden salir por un tiempo establecido pero no limitarse al sentir, en el sentido de que se pueden llegar a enamorar pero aún así saben que deben terminar, esa idea central es lo más atractivo de la trama, lo más original que tiene, porque esperas que en realidad no suceda.

The premise of the story is the life of two teenagers who decide to date setting an expiration date for their sentimental relationship and who are at the exact point of the most important student stage change; the plus of this story is the moment when they decide to date for a set time but not limit themselves to feeling, in the sense that they can fall in love but still know they must finish, that central idea is the most attractive of the plot, the most original thing it has, because you hope it doesn't really happen.

La película trabaja pequeñas temáticas sin profundizarlas, como la amistad, la búsqueda de identidad, la superación y la vida familiar, que se acoplan muy bien en las edades comprendidas de los personajes, pero parecieran solo estar de relleno, no dan una sensación de importancia o necesidad. Es quizás el fallo más grande que tiene la película, ser una sucesión de eventos tras otros de una manera rápida y resumida sin profundidad que evita un vínculo con la historia.

The film works on small themes without deepening them, such as friendship, the search for identity, self-improvement and family life, which fit very well in the ages of the characters, but seem to be just filler, not giving a sense of importance or necessity. It is perhaps the film's biggest flaw, being a succession of events after events in a quick and summarized manner without depth that avoids a link to the story.

El planteamiento del problema es indicado desde el inicio, en sí no hay suspenso que mantenga a la trama, sino más bien es un desasosiego por el protagonista en cómo su esfuerzo parece ir directo a la basura, ocasionando que la única emoción que más sintiera durante la película fuera: el enojo. Cuando llegamos al clímax que está bastante cercano al conflicto final todo se vuelve una mezcla extraña de querer que todo termine para evitarle más sufrimiento al prota, y es lo que sucede durante una discusión final que carece un poco de sentido, y es aquí donde la actriz Talia Ryder siento que me da la razón de que es una falla en la producción, no genera nada, sus gestos, su forma de accionar no le hacen justicia a lo que el personaje debería reflejar, la actuación aquí está por debajo de lo aceptado y es el punto con más declive de toda la película.

The approach to the problem is indicated from the beginning, in itself there is no suspense that keeps the plot, but rather an uneasiness for the protagonist in how his effort seems to go straight to the trash, causing the one emotion that most felt during the film was: anger. When we reach the climax which is quite close to the final conflict everything becomes a strange mixture of wanting everything to end to avoid more suffering to the protagonist, and this is what happens during a final discussion that lacks a little sense, and this is where the actress Talia Ryder I feel that gives me the reason that it is a failure in the production, does not generate anything, her gestures, her way of acting does not do justice to what the character should reflect, the performance here is below the accepted and is the point with more decline of the entire film.

En este punto ya podemos hablar de los personajes, estos son bastante clichés y planos en general, el masculino es el mejor trabajado pero desperdiciado, porque se centran más en el femenino que no tiene pizca de carisma, con un enfoque un poco más emocional y menos racional de manera equitativa de ambos hubieran logrado una mejoría de la historia, esto también aplica para la típica mejor amiga lesbiana que no sabe interactuar y el típico mejor amigo que es un tonto con un futuro profesional inexistente por su comportamiento. No hay un desarrollo como tal, hacen un salto en el tiempo de algunos meses solo para darnos el mensaje de que cuando el amor es verdadero, lo puede todo, que es más trillado que los personajes secundarios.

Todos rayan en el punto de esto ya lo ví antes, y son estas apuestas las que Netflix debería rechazar, porque no es el trabajo esperado, es aquí cuando me da mucha impotencia con la autora del libro al cual pertenece la adaptación, ya que este debe ser mejor y no se le hace justicia.

At this point we can already talk about the characters, these are quite cliché and flat in general, the male is the best worked but wasted, because they focus more on the female who has no hint of charisma, with a little more emotional and less rational approach equally of both would have achieved an improvement of the story, this also applies to the typical lesbian best friend who does not know how to interact and the typical best friend who is a fool with a non-existent professional future because of his behavior. There is no development as such, they make a time jump of a few months just to give us the message that when love is true, it can do anything, which is more trite than the secondary characters.

They all border on the point of this I've seen before, and it is these bets that Netflix should reject, because it is not the expected work, it is here when I get very impotent with the author of the book to which the adaptation belongs, since this should be better and it is not done justice.

Dirección y ambientación

La producción y dirección de la película es promedio, tenían la inversión para hacer algo más apreciable. Creo que la decisión del director de resumir un año de relación sentimental fue lo que jugó en contra en la trama, ya que al ser todo tan rápido uno no se hace a la idea de que esos adolescente tengan un amor profundo, sino más uno con una dependencia emocional y otra con apego evitativo, que le quita sentido a la historia y crea incoherencias con la trama. Otra de las cosas son los diálogos, estos llegan al punto de hasta ser vacíos, pero repito que todo eso también es consecuencia de la actuación, sin embargo hay más hechos que palabras y aquí no son una ventaja.

The production and direction of the film is average, they had the investment to make something more appreciable. I think that the director's decision to summarize a year of a sentimental relationship was what played against the plot, since everything is so fast, one does not get the idea that these teenagers have a deep love, but rather one with an emotional dependence and another with an avoidant attachment, which takes away the sense of the story and creates inconsistencies with the plot. Another thing is the dialogues, these reach the point of being empty, but I repeat that all this is also a consequence of the acting, however there are more facts than words and here they are not an advantage.

En toda la película estamos constantemente saltando del pasado al presente para darle "explicación" a las acciones, es un toque que me gustó pero podría ser confuso para algunos, sin embargo esas tomas secuencias fueron unas transiciones hermosas de ver. El argumento tiene huecos, y podemos ver la esencia en otras películas, considero que la idea estaba interesante pero no fue bien ejecutada.

Throughout the film we are constantly jumping from the past to the present to give "explanation" to the actions, it is a touch that I liked but could be confusing for some, however those sequence shots were beautiful transitions to watch. The plot has holes, and we can see the essence in other movies, I consider that the idea was interesting but it was not well executed.

Ahora desde el punto de vista de los escenarios escogidos estos son bastante atractivos y bien trabajados, dan una vibra bastante actual a la historia; son muy llamativos y agradables, se acoplan al tiempo en el que la narrativa fluye y evocan sensaciones al espectador. Estos son expuestos con eficacia porque la gran mayoría influye tanto en la historia general como en los personajes ya que son parte de la vida romántica que han llevado durante ese año.

La ambientación considero que fue un muy buen trabajo, impecable y atractivo, es lo que más me ha gustado, influye muy bien en la atmósfera de la película y mantiene al espectador interesado.

Now from the point of view of the chosen scenarios these are quite attractive and well crafted, they give a very current vibe to the story; they are very striking and pleasant, they fit the time in which the narrative flows and evoke sensations to the viewer. These are effectively exposed because most of them influence both the overall story and the characters as they are part of the romantic life they have led during that year.

I consider that the setting was a very good job, impeccable and attractive, it is what I liked the most, it influences the atmosphere of the film very well and keeps the viewer interested.

Valoración

Creo que con todo lo mencionando con anterioridad se da a entender que no tuve una buena impresión de la película, fue una idea desperdiciada que pudo ser mucho mejor, claro que esto se aplica desde el punto de vista de cada quien, porque seguro habrá alguien a quien le pareció una excelente película, pero para mí es una película olvidable.

I think that with everything mentioned above it is implied that I did not have a good impression of the film, it was a wasted idea that could have been much better, of course this applies from the point of view of each person, because surely there will be someone who thought it was an excellent film, but for me it is a forgettable film.

Todos los trabajos cinematográficos tienen sus puntos débiles, aquí creo que la fundamental fue la actuación y la rapidez de los hechos, lo que la hicieron aburrida y previsible, porque es un final tan cómodo que no deja a nadie ni satisfecho ni molesto.

All cinematographic works have their weaknesses, here I believe that the fundamental one was the acting and the speed of the events, which made it boring and predictable, because it is such a comfortable ending that leaves no one satisfied or annoyed.

Referente al protagonista creo que es con el único con el que se puede empatizar al 100%, refleja la capacidad de esforzarte fuertemente por algo y aún así no lograrlo, me pareció bastante agradable y vulnerable, cómo me fuera gustado ver más desde su punto de vista. Este género del romance y drama adolescente nunca ha sido mi predilecto, lo consumí más durante la niñez y adolescencia, y este es un claro ejemplo de porque no lo disfruto tanto ahora, es muy difícil ver algo bien contado, sobre todo cuando se trata de la inexperiencia juvenil.

Regarding the main character I think he is the only one with whom you can empathize 100%, he reflects the ability to strive hard for something and still not achieve it, I found him quite nice and vulnerable, how I would have liked to see more from his point of view. This genre of teenage romance and drama has never been my favorite, I consumed it more during childhood and adolescence, and this is a clear example of why I don't enjoy it as much now, it is very difficult to see something well told, especially when it comes to youthful inexperience.

La película me dejó algunas enseñanzas, claro que sí, la primera es no volverla a ver, la segunda es que 'el tiempo lo sana todo' y la tercer es que debes quedarte y luchar por quien te demuestre el mismo interés, algo que aquí no se aplica, pero si te da entender.

Al fina no es una película recomendable, pero cada quien puede darse la oportunidad de verla y dar su punto de vista.

The first one is not to watch it again, the second one is that 'time heals everything' and the third one is that you should stay and fight for someone who shows you the same interest, something that doesn't apply here, but it does give you an understanding.

In the end it is not a recommendable movie, but everyone can take the opportunity to see it and give their point of view.
