So yesterday I was home alone and heartbroken so I decided to see a movie with romance as its genre at least to share in other people's joy and happiness if I couldn't get mine. Pretty sad right?

Moving on, this movie is an American romantic drama directed by Michael Lewen and released on July 6,2022 based on the book with the same name by Jennifer E. Smith.

Aidan(Jordan Fisher) and Clare(Talia Ryder) had a deal kinda relationship which was supposed to end without any attachments when they leave high school but it turned out to be the most difficult deal they thought they could keep.

After a lot of romantic moments together during high school, it was time for Clare to leave for college and they had to cut their romance off because Clare was afraid of falling for him(Aidan) with thoughts that after falling she wouldn't be on her own and would somehow always seek his consent to do things which she thought was more like a burden.

So before their official break-up, Aidan decided that they relive all the moments they had on their first date. It was a difficult moment for the teenagers, memories upon memories kept coming back and they felt maybe they shouldn't have to break up. On the breakup day, Clare thought it was gonna go easy breezy but sadly it got a lot harder than she thought which got me asking one question; who loves and then breakup easily? I've never seen such anywhere as long as love was definitely the center of the relationship.

Also it's absurd that two people who claimed to be in a relationship know they want to break up but then end up spending money to relive past memories that'd be thrown away the next minute when the break up words are officially said.

In my opinion, I don't see anything wrong with a long distance relationship as long as the two people involved can stay committed. It's not like you're going to college all your life, it's just for a period of time matter of fact there's always summer break which could get you back in each other's arms but then these two amazing teenagers wanted to end theirs because of the long distance circumstances and for Clare it was the ability to make her own decisions which leaves me wondering how people deal on getting into a relationship just to break each other's heart at the end of the day. It's only gonna be easy when after the whole deal thing, no strings were attached but if they ended up catching feelings then it's gonna be really difficult.

The scenes in the movie are quite amazing. I cried when they had to argue and get away from each other, maybe because I was heartbroken. Who knows? Haha! By the way, the characters were amazing, the soundtrack and video quality is just dope. I love everything about it plus the musicals they added made me watch till the end.

    Conclusion

I definitely recommend this film even though it's acted by people who claimed to be teenagers in the movie, it's still amazing but not for children below 13.
