Lo sé, sé muy bien que el género de thriller policial tiene bastante demanda, tanta que a veces algunos programas rozan con lo trillado, pero ese hecho no quita que sean interesantes y entretenidos, conquistando su propósito de mantenernos atentos y receptivos. Lo he dicho antes, pero soy verdadera fan de esta categoría, desde pequeña sigo los pasos de estos programas, pero no fue hasta hace dos años que conocí el amplio contenido de Corea para este tema en especial, la verdad han superado todas mis expectativas, porque sus enfoques son más realistas y sus actuaciones están por encima del rango normal, por esa razón hoy vengo a hablarles sobre uno de ellos en especifico que me encantó.

I know, I know very well that the police thriller genre is in high demand, so much so that sometimes some programs border on the trite, but that fact does not detract from the fact that they are interesting and entertaining, conquering their purpose of keeping us attentive and receptive. I have said it before, but I am a true fan of this category, since I was little I follow the steps of these programs, but it was not until two years ago that I knew the wide content of Korea for this special topic, the truth has exceeded all my expectations, because their approaches are more realistic and their performances are above the normal range, for that reason today I come to tell you about one of them specifically that I loved.

Tunnel es una serie policial surcoreana del año 2017, repleta de contenido psicológico, suspenso, ciencia ficción, acción y drama. El programa fue transmitido por el canal OCN con un total de 16 episodios, obteniendo buen recibimiento. Este drama fue creado por Choi Jin-hee y "Studio Dragon". Su equilibrada y fantástica historia mantuvo a flote su éxito.

Tunnel is a 2017 South Korean cop series packed with psychological content, suspense, science fiction, action and drama. The program was aired on OCN channel with a total of 16 episodes, gaining good reception. This drama was created by Choi Jin-hee and "Studio Dragon". Its balanced and fantastic storyline kept its success afloat.

Tunnel narra la historia de un policía que por cuestiones del destino termina viajando 30 años en el futuro, ahí se encontrará con un mundo actualizado en donde siguen sin poder atrapar al asesino que tanto buscaba en el pasado. Terminará trabajando de la mano con un detective que sospecha de su extraño comportamiento y una psicóloga criminal que tiene un fuerte lazo con él, sin saberlo. Lo más interesante de esta historia es que está inspirada en un caso real: los asesinatos en serie ocurridos en Hwaseong, Corea del Sur.

Tunnel tells the story of a policeman who by fate ends up traveling 30 years in the future, where he finds himself in an updated world where he still can't catch the murderer he was looking for in the past. He ends up working hand in hand with a detective who is suspicious of his strange behavior and a criminal psychologist who has a strong bond with him, without knowing it. The most interesting thing about this story is that it is inspired by a real case: the serial murders that occurred in Hwaseong, South Korea.

Podían encontrarla en el catalogo de Netflix hasta hace poco, y tendía a mantenerse en tendencia, sin embargo fue sacada para estrenar su versión Tailandesa, esa versión no la he visto, así que solo recomiendo la original. La cinematografía y televisión asiática tiene gran impacto y mucho de los éxitos americanos son remakes de historias pertenecientes de China y Corea.

You could find it in the Netflix catalog until recently, and it tended to stay on trend, however it was pulled to release its Thai version, that version I have not seen, so I only recommend the original. Asian film and television has great impact and many of the American hits are remakes of stories belonging to China and Korea.

El personaje principal es sin duda quien se lleva mayor atención, la impecable actuación de Choi Jin-hyuk y su adaptación a cada escena nos presenta a un protagonista que rompe estereotipos de la televisión coreana, siendo sincero, abierto, inteligente, emotivo y dedicado, logra meterse al público en el bolsillo. Los co-protagonistas no son especialmente personajes con personalidades muy abiertas, así que puede ser un poco complicado comprenderlos, pero sus respectivos desarrollos ganan el corazón del espectador, por eso las actuaciones de Yoon Hyun-min y Lee Yoo Young son el completamente perfecto.

The main character is undoubtedly the one who gets the most attention, Choi Jin-hyuk's impeccable performance and his adaptation to each scene presents us with a protagonist who breaks stereotypes of Korean television, being sincere, open, intelligent, emotional and dedicated, he manages to put the audience in his pocket. The co-stars are not especially characters with very open personalities, so it can be a bit complicated to understand them, but their respective developments win the viewer's heart, that's why Yoon Hyun-min and Lee Yoo Young's performances are the completely perfect.

Este thriller cuenta una historia bastante organizada, el hilo de un capítulo a otro está centrado en su propósito y no se pierde entre la cantidad de casos a resolver, y la evolución de cada personaje. La serie supo mantener el equilibrio entre sus distintos géneros, y no cayó en el típico romance al que los doramas nos tienen acostumbrados, la investigación, los asesinatos, los secretos y la cruda realidad fueron ganchos únicos para que la emoción no se perdiera entre un episodio y otro.

This thriller tells a fairly organized story, the thread from one chapter to another is focused on its purpose and is not lost among the number of cases to be solved, and the evolution of each character. The series knew how to maintain the balance between its different genres, and did not fall into the typical romance that doramas have us used to, the investigation, the murders, the secrets and the harsh reality were unique hooks so that the emotion was not lost between one episode and another.

Aunque el hecho de que el personaje viaje en el tiempo parece estúpido, en realidad mantiene a la trama en constante movimiento, y tiene tan buen guión y actuaciones impecables que ese tema no llega a ser relevante para juzgarla de mala manera. Más bien la historia es interesante de ver, y quieres ver un capítulo tras otro para saber cómo se resolverán las cosas, su gran cantidad de personajes bien interpretados nos presenta un desarrollo exquisito.

Although the fact that the character travels through time seems stupid, it actually keeps the plot moving, and it has such a good script and impeccable performances that this issue does not become relevant to judge it in a bad way. Rather, the story is interesting to watch, and you want to watch chapter after chapter to find out how things will work out, its many well-played characters presenting us with exquisite development.

La variación de la paleta de colores y su excelente uso es de gran importancia por las ambientaciones de los años, además los lugares escogidos son bastante ideales para el tipo de historia que narra. Esta serie no fuerza las intenciones de hacerte llorar y es sin dudas de mis favoritas, si aun no la has visto te invito a que lo hagas y me cuentes tu experiencia.

The variation of the color palette and its excellent use is of great importance for the settings of the years, also the chosen places are quite ideal for the type of story it tells.
