Los shonen dominan mucho al favoritismo dentro de mundo del anime, Dragon Ball, Naruto, One piece, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter son de los clásicos que no dejan de ser tendencia cada año, y los sucesores actuales como Boku no hero, Jujutso Kaisen, Kitmesu no yaiba, y de los éxitos más recientes como Tokyo Revenge mantienen en la cúspide este género.

The shonen dominate much favoritism in the world of anime, Dragon Ball, Naruto, One piece, Bleach, Hunter x Hunter are among the classics that never stop being a trend every year, and current successors such as Boku no hero, Jujutso Kaisen, Kitmesu no yaiba, and more recent hits such as Tokyo Revenge keep this genre at the top.

En lo personal veo variedad de géneros, sin embargo, al contrario que en las series o doramas que veo con constancia, en el anime soy más de Slice of Life y vida escolar preferiblemente. Me parece una genialidad como pueden crear historias atrayente de los problemas básicos o más comunes de la adolescencia, ya sea en sus vidas personales o escolares, siempre logran encariñarme con algún personaje, me hacen reflexionar sobre acciones pasadas o identificarme con alguien, lo cual es como un respiro.

Personally I watch a variety of genres, however, unlike the series or doramas that I watch constantly, in anime I'm more of a Slice of Life and school life preferably. I think it's great how they can create appealing stories of the basic or most common problems of adolescence, either in their personal or school lives, they always make me get attached to a character, make me reflect on past actions or identify with someone, which is like a breath of fresh air.

ReLIFE es un anime bastante sobrio de la categoría slice of life. Me lo recomendó un amigo cercano, y decidí darle la oportunidad, ya que llevaba un tiempo sin ver nada por mi propio interés. Cuenta la historia de Arata Kaizaki un desempleado de 27 años quien conoce a Ryo Yoake, miembro del instituto de investigación ReLife, éste le ofrece ser conejillo de indias para su último proyecto: una droga que le hará ver como un estudiante de 17 años, su aventura comenzará cuando sepa que debe volver a cursar la secundaria, teniendo entre manos una segunda oportunidad de rectificar sus errores pasados.

ReLIFE is a rather sober anime in the slice of life category. It was recommended to me by a close friend, and I decided to give it a chance, as I hadn't watched anything for a while out of my own interest. It tells the story of Arata Kaizaki, a 27 year old unemployed man who meets Ryo Yoake, a member of the ReLife research institute, who offers him to be a guinea pig for his latest project: a drug that will make him look like a 17 year old student, his adventure will begin when he learns that he has to go back to high school, having a second chance to rectify his past mistakes.

Estrenada durante la primavera del 2016 quizás no tuvo la atención que merecía por el gran éxito de Boku no hero en ese tiempo, pero esta historia producida por TMS Entertainment es una adaptación de un manga con una interesante presentación de problemas. Tiene varios vacíos que podrían mejorar la experiencia, pero me enfoqué más en lo que me ofrecían sus personajes, lo cuales aprecié bastante.

Released during the spring of 2016 it perhaps didn't get the attention it deserved because of the huge success of Boku no hero at the time, but this TMS Entertainment produced story is an adaptation of a manga with an interesting presentation of problems. It has several gaps that could enhance the experience, but I focused more on what its characters had to offer, which I appreciated quite a bit.

Arata representa muy bien a los común NiNi que abundan en una sociedad en la que no logran adaptarse por distintas situaciones y terminan viviendo de trabajos temporales o sus familiares, cosa que nadie quiere vivir, pero que pueden terminar sucediendo a pesar de los esfuerzos. Nuestro protagonista nos muestra formas de afrontar dicha situación lejos de los prejuicios concebidos de una manera interactiva, presentando una personalidad amable y reflexiva, que aun a su edad sigue en proceso de aprendizaje. La verdad es que nunca dejas de aprender.

Arata represents very well the common NiNi that abound in a society in which they fail to adapt for different situations and end up living on temporary jobs or their relatives, something that no one wants to live, but that can end up happening despite the efforts. Our protagonist shows us ways to face such a situation far from the prejudices conceived in an interactive way, presenting a kind and thoughtful personality, which even at his age is still in the process of learning. The truth is that you never stop learning.

Esta trama tiene mezcla de otros géneros como la comedia, la vida escolar y el romance, aunque sin enfocarse en alguna por mucho tiempo, más bien son complementos para mantener interesantes otras sub-tramas de los personajes. Chizuru, una estudiante bastante aplicada pero sin ningún tipo de dote comunicativo, Arata, otra aplicada alumna con problemas de personalidad y Ohga, un chico gentil y llamativo carente de expresar sus sentimientos, son los que con constancia irán dando movimiento a la historia y desarrollarán cambios llenos de experiencias y empatía.

This plot has a mix of other genres such as comedy, school life and romance, although without focusing on any one for too long, rather they are complements to keep other sub-plots of the characters interesting. Chizuru, a student quite applied but without any communicative skills, Arata, another applied student with personality problems and Ohga, a gentle and striking boy lacking in expressing his feelings, are the ones who will steadily give movement to the story and will develop changes full of experiences and empathy.

La serie es bastante sencilla a nivel de animación y maneja un arte conceptual muy limpio, su desarrollo es entendible con un mensaje directo a la confianza propia y los que te rodean. Enfoca bastante la versatilidad del pensamiento, gracias a Arata que al no ser un adolescente de verdad no muestra los miedos ni prejuicios “tradicionales de la edad”, por lo que su enfoque y visión es mucho más completa.

The series is quite simple at the animation level and handles a very clean conceptual art, its development is understandable with a direct message to self-confidence and those around you. It focuses a lot on the versatility of thought, thanks to Arata who, not being a real teenager, does not show the "traditional age" fears and prejudices, so his approach and vision is much more complete.

Lo recomiendo, a pesar de que pudiera ser mejor, me dejó conmovida su trama, y me gustó su desarrollo. Este anime consta de un live-action del mismo nombre emitido en el 2017 y posteriormente se lanzaron 4 OVA’s con el fin de darle un cierre a la historia bajo el nombre de ReLIFE Kanketsu-hen.

I recommend it, even though it could be better, I was moved by its plot, and I liked its development. This anime consists of a live-action of the same name aired in 2017 and later 4 OVA's were released in order to give closure to the story under the name of *ReLIFE Kanketsu-hen.
