Eighth grade movie trailer

This movie got my attention because nothing really happens in the movie. In most movies something out of the ordinary happens. This movie is just about an ordinary life in middle school for a shy girl. I thought it was kind of original, if a bit boring. Then I saw the production company was A24. The A24 movies I have seen have been overhyped and absolutely dreadful. So I definitely don't want to watch it now.
