To be honest, the ratings of this show pushed me to begin the show in the first place.
That was the only drive, not the hype.
It's Netflix after all, most of their shows are crap (HBO does the trick every blessed time)
So, back to Altered Carbon,
It started off with a very nice intro.
Enough to tell you this is something futuristic.
But then proceeds with quite some confusing scenes.
It rolls for quite some time before balancing towards the end.
Enough to continue and complete the episode.
And then immediately it ends in that smooth vibe.
You are like, "hmmmmm, I need to see what episode 2 is all about"
Just that inquisitive feeling (if episode 2 dives down the rating for me, I would definitely discontinue it)
So for me, it is a 6.9/10 kinda pilot. @criptokingko
