Hola hive, hoy tuve la oportunidad de re visitar una de mis películas favoritas de mi infancia y debo admitir que quede fascinado, no solo por los buenos recuerdos y la nostalgia que me da sino que ademas objetivamente después de haber crecido, me sigue pareciendo una muy buena película, por eso hoy les quiero hablar sobre Cars
Cars es una película animada de Pixar Animation Studios lanzada en el 2006 y dirigida por John Lasseter, también cuenta con las voces de grandes actores como: Owen Wilson, Paul Newman, George Carlin, Michael Keaton, entre otros.
Cars nos sitúa en un mundo donde todos son automobiles y obviamente tiene las mismas características que nosotros los humanos, pueden hablar, ver, reír y todo el asunto. La película se centra en el Rayo McQueen, un corredor egocentrico que debido a un cambio de rumbo ahora tendrá que aprender a sobrellevar su vida siendo un total desconocido dentro de un pequeño pueblo llamado Radiator Spring.
Esta película me sorprendió bastante, no se si les ha pasado que hay veces que te visitan películas de cuando eran niños y piensan “pues no era tan buena como pensaba”, bueno, en este caso fue totalmente lo contrario y es que actualmente viendo Cars de una forma más objetiva me di cuenta que sigue siendo una gran película grandes puntos positivos, empecemos!
Siempre voy a considerar un gran punto positivo de las películas de Pixar es que saben como entretenernos tanto a los grandes como a los más pequeños de la casa y tal vez parece una bobada, pero es algo muy complicado de hacer y esta película lo logra perfectamente, por eso muchas veces me parece fascinante volver a ver este tipo de películas porque nos encontramos con joyitas (como en este caso).
La animación es indiscutible, es una película que ha envejecido muy bien y creo que no hay duda de esto, los autos están muy bien logrados, los escenarios son muy bonitos y en general la película visualmente es atractiva (otro factor que nos engancha fácilmente)
La trama de esta película es sorprendente buena, el ritmo en que se va dando todo, el arco del persona de McQueen es simplemente perfecto, logramos ver por todas las etapas que va pasando nuestro protagonista y como va evolucionando cada vez más como persona (o como auto).
Esta película cuenta con excelentes personajes y es que si me tocará elegir por uno favorito sería una tarea muy difícil porque aunque hay unos con mayor peso que otros cada uno aporta su grano de arena a la historia y hace que todo se sienta súper fluido, todos los personas secundarios son de calidad, desde Mate hasta Guido (ambos son mis personajes favoritos), lográndonos conectar con fácilmente con cada personaje y que podamos vivir mejor cada situacion de la película.
Cars tiene un poquito de todo, Comedia, Aventura, Romance… en este sentido es una película bastante completa y siento que cualquier persona podría disfrutarla, no es una película para nada pesada, las 2 horas se pasan y uno no se da ni cuenta.
También cuenta con un excelente soundtrack, ya no podemos desligar la canción Life Is A Highway de la icónica escena donde sale Mark Sacando la lengua (que es una de mis escenas favoritas).
En conclusión, vi esta película y al terminarla quede con una gran sonrisa pensando que era un niño con buen gusto para las películas, de verdad que la disfruté mucho y como digo siempre cuando hago review sobre películas asi, se que la nostalgia juega un rol importante en todo esto, peeeeerooo… aún sigo creyendo que objetivamente es una película buena, divertida y súper disfrutable.

Hi hive, today I had the opportunity to revisit one of my favorite movies from my childhood and I must admit that I was fascinated, not only for the good memories and the nostalgia it gives me but also objectively after having grown up, I still find it a very good movie, so today I want to talk about Cars.
Cars is an animated film from Pixar Animation Studios released in 2006 and directed by John Lasseter, also features the voices of great actors such as Owen Wilson, Paul Newman, George Carlin, Michael Keaton, among others.
Cars places us in a world where they are all automobiles and obviously have the same characteristics as us humans, they can talk, see, laugh and the whole thing. The movie focuses on Lightning McQueen, an egocentric racer that due to a change of course will now have to learn to cope with his life being a total stranger in a small town called Radiator Spring.
This movie surprised me a lot, I don't know if it has happened to you that sometimes you visit movies from when you were kids and you think "well it wasn't as good as I thought", well, in this case it was totally the opposite and currently watching Cars in a more objective way I realized that it is still a great movie with great positive points, let's start!
I will always consider a great positive point of Pixar movies is that they know how to entertain both the big and the smallest of the house and maybe it seems silly, but it is something very complicated to do and this film achieves it perfectly, so many times I find it fascinating to see this kind of movies again because we find little jewels (as in this case).
The animation is indisputable, it is a film that has aged very well and I think there is no doubt about it, the cars are very well done, the scenery is very nice and in general the film is visually attractive (another factor that hooks us easily).
The plot of this movie is surprisingly good, the rhythm in which everything happens, the arc of McQueen's person is simply perfect, we get to see all the stages that our protagonist goes through and how he evolves more and more as a person (or as a car).
This movie has excellent characters and if I had to choose a favorite it would be a very difficult task because although there are some with more weight than others, each one contributes their grain of sand to the story and makes everything feel super fluid, all the secondary characters are of quality, from Mate to Guido (both are my favorite characters), making us connect easily with each character and we can better live each situation of the film.
Cars has a little bit of everything, Comedy, Adventure, Romance... in this sense it is a very complete movie and I feel that anyone could enjoy it, it is not a heavy movie at all, the 2 hours go by and you don't even notice it.
It also has an excellent soundtrack, we can't separate the song Life Is A Highway from the iconic scene where Mark sticks out his tongue (which is one of my favorite scenes).
In conclusion, I saw this movie and when I finished it I was left with a big smile thinking I was a kid with good taste in movies, I really enjoyed it a lot and as I always say when I review movies like this, I know that nostalgia plays an important role in all this, peeeeerooo... I still believe that objectively it is a good, fun and super enjoyable movie.
