Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre una película que sinceramente no conocía, pero en estos días mi papá me dijo si la quería ver con el y obviamente accedí, y a medida que iba transcurriendo me di cuenta que tenía cosas buenas y otras no tan buenas que destacar sobre esta película, así que por eso es que hoy les quiero hablar de Solo.
Solo es una película de española, basada en una historia de supervivencia, donde un surfista en búsqueda de unas increíbles olas, termina en un acantilado inaccesible en el Que tendrá que sobrevivir durante dos dias, Solo está dirigida por Hugo Stuven y protagonizada por Alain Hernández. Así que ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto sobre esta película ahora si comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película, obviamente es la historia en sí y es que siempre que veo este tipo de casos me parece genuinamente increíble por lo que estas personas tienen que pasar y saber que son historias de la vida real sin duda les dan más peso a la película, así que si, siento que es fascinante como este tipo de películas muestran estos casos, y de cierta forma hasta sirven para crear un poco de consciencia.
La actuación de Alain Hernández es bastante buena y esto es fundamental en este tipo de películas, ya que como la película se centra prácticamente en un solo personaje, es importante que la actuación sea buena y convincente para que la película tenga un buen ritmo y logremos adentrarnos 100% en la historia, y esta película cumple ese objetivo.
También quiero destacar que no es una película larga, dura aproximadamente 90 min y claro tiene sentido porque este tipo de películas de supervivencia siento que no es muy buena idea extenderse tanto porque siento que se podría volver un poco incómodo, pero con el ritmo de esta película los 90 min me parecen perfectos.
Ahora no todo es perfecto y sin duda hay que mencionar esos aspectos que no me terminaron de convencer y que le restan un poco de valor a la película en si. Uno de estos aspectos es que siento que hay que la historia me parece súper interesante (como ya mencioné) siento que le hubiesen podido sacar mucho más provecho, no se, tal vez ser más específicos con lo que vivió esta persona, siento que a veces se centraban mucho en una situación amorosa que no me terminaba de encajar muy bien (más que todo en el contexto de la película)
Me hubiese parecido interesante que nos fuesen mostrando como se va desenvolviendo el personaje hora a hora en una situación así, realmente como hizo para sobrevivir y cosas así, pero siento que todo esto lo tocaron de una forma general, y no está mal, pero como dije siento que había mucho más material para mostrar.
Es difícil ver esta película y no compararla con 127 Hours ya que ambas tienen un objetivo similar y es de exponer estos casos de supervivencia, pero si siento que 127 Hours es una película mucho más completa que logra cubrir esos “puntos negativos” que mencionó en esta, sin embargo también es algo subjetivo y tal vez hay personas a las que le gusto la historia amorosa que se muestra en esta película y es que se utiliza como una motivación para que el protagonista logre sobrevivir, pero a mi no me termino de convencer.
En conclusión siento que “solo” es una película interesante de ver para conocer esta historia, tiene cosas cool, una buena actuación y una dirección bastante completa, así que en términos generales es una experiencia relativamente buena, no es una obra de arte, pero siento que hasta cierto punto logra cumplir con lo que promete.

Hi hive, today I come to talk about a movie that I honestly did not know, but these days my dad told me if I wanted to see it with him and obviously I agreed, and as it was going on I realized that it had some good and some not so good things to highlight about this movie, so that's why today I want to talk about Solo.
Solo is a Spanish film, based on a survival story, where a surfer in search of some incredible waves, ends up in an inaccessible cliff where he will have to survive for two days. Who will have to survive for two days, Solo is directed by Hugo Stuven and stars Alain Hernandez. So having already given a little context about this movie, let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I loved most about the film, obviously it's the story itself and whenever I see this kind of cases I find it genuinely incredible what these people have to go through and knowing that they are real life stories certainly give more weight to the film, so yes, I feel it's fascinating how this kind of films show these cases, and in a way even serve to create some awareness.
Alain Hernandez's acting is quite good and this is fundamental in this type of film, since the film focuses practically on a single character, it is important that the acting is good and convincing so that the film has a good rhythm and we can get 100% into the story, and this film fulfills that objective.
I also want to point out that it is not a long movie, it lasts approximately 90 min and of course it makes sense because this kind of survival movies I feel it is not a very good idea to extend so much because I feel it could become a little uncomfortable, but with the pace of this movie the 90 min seems perfect to me.
Now, not everything is perfect and without a doubt I have to mention those aspects that didn't convince me and that detract a little from the value of the film itself. One of these aspects is that I feel that even though the story seems super interesting (as I already mentioned) I feel that they could have taken much more out of it, I don't know, maybe be more specific with what this person lived, I feel that sometimes they focused a lot on a love situation that didn't fit me very well (mostly in the context of the film).
It would have been interesting to show us how the character is developing hour by hour in a situation like this, really how he did to survive and things like that, but I feel that all this was touched in a general way, and it's not bad, but as I said I feel that there was much more material to show.
It is difficult to see this film and not compare it with 127 Hours since both have a similar objective and it is to expose these cases of survival, but I feel that 127 Hours is a much more complete film that manages to cover those "negative points" that you mentioned in this one, however it is also something subjective and perhaps there are people who liked the love story shown in this film and it is used as a motivation for the protagonist to survive, but I was not completely convinced.
In conclusion I feel that "solo" is an interesting movie to see to know this story, it has cool stuff, a good acting and a pretty complete direction, so overall it is a relatively good experience, it is not a work of art, but I feel that to some extent it manages to fulfill what it promises.
