Hola hive, hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de ver esta película en el cine y hoy quiero traerles mi review y mi opinión sobre esta nueva entrega de Marvel, y si, estoy hablando de Thor: Love And Thunder.
Thor: Love And Thunder (2022) es la última película lanzada por Marvel perteneciente al universo cinematográfico de Marvel, protagonizada por Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman y Tessa Thompson, y dirigida por Taika Waititi
Esta película se sitúa después de los hechos de EndGame, donde nuestro protagonista se una a los guardianes de la galaxia para ir salvando lugares de la galaxia donde necesiten su ayuda, sin embargo Thor estaba pasando por una crisis existencial en busca de saber quien es y cuál es su propósito, pero como si fuera poco hay un asesino (Gorr) que juro acabar con todos los dioses e ir matando a cada uno de ellos uno por uno, y el que sigue es Thor, por lo tanto empieza esta cacería de Thor hacía gorr y viceversa para ver quien sale victorioso.
La película no tiene una trama muy arriesgada ni muy loca, pero esto no es para nada malo, porque aunque sea una trama bastante líneas y “sencilla” está muy bien ejecutada y se siente una película muy bien armada y estructurada.
Existe un recurso recurrente en las películas de Marvel que es la comedia, muchas de las películas de este universo cae en estas situaciones cómicas para aligerar determinadas escenas, y capaz en otra película del MCU me hubiese disgustado un poco, pero es que esta tan bien logrado que no hay crítica, no tiene un humor muy elevado ni nada por el estilo pero logra sacar una risa, y todo esto se debe a la característica forma de Taika Waititi de manejar la comedia pero sin desligarnos de la trama, y si, uno de los grandes fuertes de esta película es la dirección, fue totalmente un acierto elegir a Waititi para esta película, el agarro lo que ya habíamos visto en Thor Ragnarok pero le dio su toque y en mi opinión lo mejoro bastante.
La película tiene de todo, momentos cómicos, momentos tristes, momentos de “miedo” o con una temática más oscura, pero cada escena tiene su peso, su importancia y está súper bien lograda.
Las actuaciones obviamente son 10/10 y bueno que podemos decir, si tenemos un cast súper duro, pero igual siento que si o si tenemos que destacar la actuación de Christian Bale, el trabajo que hizo este actor fue increíble, como se metió en el papel, como logro transmitir ese temor y no lo digo solo porque lo sentí, sino que en las escenas donde aparecía Gorr se sentía una tensión en la sala de cine, de verdad nos hacía sentir dentro de la película y angustiados por lo que podía pasar, para mi hay dos cosas por la que hay que ver esta película, por el Trabajo de Waititi (como ya dije anteriormente) y por la actuación de Christian Bale, fueron dos grandes aciertos de esta película.
Obviamente no me puedo ir sin hablar sobre la banda sonara, porque si, no lo voy a negar escuchar canciones como Welcome To The Jungle o November Rain me erizo la piel, son canciones buenísimas puestas en momento justos y la banda sonora es una de las cosas que más me encanto, que siempre me ha gustado bastante Guns N Roses, efectivamente, pero igual cada canción está en su sitio y le suma un montón a la película.
En conclusión siento que es una película muy buena de Marvel, tal vez entre a mis favoritas, tiene de todo y es una película bastante completa, además no es una película densa y lenta sino al contrario, las dos horas se pasan súper rápido, aunque no sean fan o no les haya gustado mucho lo último que ha lanzado marvel siento que Thor Love And Thunder merece una oportunidad, totalmente recomendada.
Hi hive, a few days ago I had the chance to see this movie in the cinema and today I want to bring you my review and my opinion about this new Marvel release, and yes, I'm talking about Thor: Love And Thunder.
Thor: Love And Thunder (2022) is the latest movie released by Marvel belonging to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson, and directed by Taika Waititi.
This film is set after the events of EndGame, where our protagonist joins the Guardians of the Galaxy to go saving places in the galaxy where they need their help, however Thor was going through an existential crisis in search of knowing who he is and what is his purpose, But as if that were not enough there is a murderer (Gorr) who vowed to kill all the gods and go killing each of them one by one, and the one who follows is Thor, so begins this hunt for Thor to Gorr and vice versa to see who is victorious.
The film does not have a very risky or crazy plot, but this is not a bad thing at all, because although it is a very simple plot, it is very well executed and it feels like a very well put together and structured film.
There is a recurring resource in Marvel movies which is comedy, many of the films in this universe falls into these comic situations to lighten certain scenes, and maybe in another MCU movie I would have disliked it a little, but it is so well achieved that there is no criticism, it does not have a very high humor or anything like that but it manages to get a laugh, and all this is due to Taika Waititi's characteristic way of handling the comedy but without detaching us from the plot, and yes, one of the great strengths of this film is the direction, it was a total success to choose Waititi for this film, he took what we had already seen in Thor Ragnarok but he gave it his touch and in my opinion he improved it a lot.
The movie has everything, funny moments, sad moments, moments of "fear" or with a darker theme, but each scene has its weight, its importance and is super well done.
The performances are obviously 10/10 and well what can we say, if we have a super tough cast, but I still feel that if or if we have to highlight the performance of Christian Bale, the work done by this actor was incredible, how he got into the role, how he managed to convey that fear and I'm not just saying that because I felt it, but in the scenes where Gorr appeared there was a tension in the theater, it really made us feel inside the movie and anxious about what could happen, for me there are two things why you have to see this movie, Waititi's work (as I said before) and Christian Bale's performance, they were two great successes of this film.
Obviously I can not leave without talking about the soundtrack, because yes, I will not deny it, listening to songs like Welcome To The Jungle or November Rain made my skin crawl, they are great songs placed at the right time and the soundtrack is one of the things that I loved the most, I have always liked Guns N Roses, indeed, but still each song is in its place and adds a lot to the film.
In conclusion I feel that it is a very good Marvel movie, maybe among my favorites, it has everything and is a pretty complete movie, it is not a dense and slow movie but on the contrary, the two hours go by super fast, even if you are not a fan or did not like much the latest that Marvel has released I feel that Thor Love And Thunder deserves a chance, totally recommended.
