Con Soul todavía en el recuerdo de muchos de nosotros, Disney nos trae esta película, que como no podía ser de otro forma es visualmente maravillosa, con cada detalle mínimamente cuidado, cuenta con una buena banda sonora y nos trae personajes realmente entrañables, aunque lastima y estoy viendo este filme a esta edad, lo hubiera disfrutado mucho más siendo más joven.

Esta cinta se centra en que a veces debemos dejar nuestras diferencias a un lado, poniendo a la amistad como un tema principal, para así poder lograr un objetivo que sería el bien común, pues vemos como poco a poco estos personajes, que en un inicio no tienen nada en común, se van uniendo a la causa de Sisu y Raya, confiando el uno en el otro, hasta que al final todo termina con un acto de fe final, dejar a la villana de la película salvar el mundo, después de ver bondad en ella y todos sacrificar su vida.

Raya es la protagonista absoluta de la cinta, una guerrera muy intimidante y poderosa, logran definir este personaje muy bien mostrando su pasado y sus motivaciones, al mismo tiempo que vemos un crecimiento real en ella, ya Disney se canso de que todas sus protagonistas fueran solo princesa y reducir sus historias a una sub-trama romántica, lo que viene muy bien aquí.

Los personajes secundarios fueron excepcionales, la bebé y los monitos son hilarantes, Tong es puro músculo pero con un gran corazón, Boun es muy divertido y está dispuesto a todo con tal de salvar a su familia, Tuk Tuk es lo mejor del filme y la mascota que todos queremos tener y el Chief Benja es pura sabiduría.

La animación es de primer nivel y se nota todo el trabajo que hay detrás, con grandes artistas en la animación, pero que podíamos esperar, es Disney. Hay escenas de lucha muy bien logradas, escenarios que son simplemente impresionantes, los detalles de los Druun muy delicados, pero donde se llevan el premio es en la expresividad de los personajes, dándoles mucha personalidad. También la banda sonora está muy bien lograda, mete emoción o sentimentalismo cuando lo necesita, obra de James Newton Howard.
