Real or Fiction?

Real or fiction?

Ok, so I didn't want to waste any time on writing a post on this subject. But then my friend @thisismylife told me to hehe. Blame her. Let's get some juicy gossip rolling...

Years ago, when I was living in Las Vegas, the one thing that I loved about the place was that celebrities could walk among the regular folk and no one would ever bother them. I've seen Mickey Rourke play the slots there, and no one would bat an eyelid. Ben Affleck hung around the Bellagio, not even a paparazzi in sight!

source

Maybe it was because most people there were too self-absorbed, or so busy trying to hit the jackpot that they just didn't care about any celeb in their midst. The only time I've seen people get a little more excited was when Pamela Anderson came to talk about Peta, and landed at Planet Hollywood for an autograph session. But even then it wasn't anything crazy and she didn't need an army to keep her safe...She was very nice, by the way!

I nearly got to hang out with David Spade if my friend wouldn't have ruined it for us...How cool is that? I mean, in retrospect, even just being able to say that your friend ruined it with David Spade is pretty darn cool. Although I wish he wouldn't have... Long story. Something for another time. But either way, try that in LA. It just wouldn't happen without the paparazzi hunting you down...

Will Smith in a bad mood

So, when I lived in Las Vegas, for a while I was working as an OPC for a timeshare company, as well as selling tours. We worked mainly outdoors, and our office was located near the Budget car rental across the street from the Treasure Island, on the corner of Sands Avenue. One day we heard a little commotion from the street where we were, and sure enough: it was Will Smith, Jada, and a handful of other people walking in our direction from Sands. No one really bothered with them, some were taking pictures. The couple that had been standing with us to sort a tour they were trying to book had two young kids. Around 8 and 9. The two kids cheered and asked their parents if they could go to Will and ask for an autograph. The dad said: 'Sure, why not.' They ran, overjoyed. The mother then explained that they were Will's biggest fans, that they watched all his movies, and knew everything about him. So for them to meet him here in the street was beyond amazing of course. I was happy for them. How exciting for a kid to meet their celebrity hero!

Well, the excitement was short-lived. The kids ran up to Will & his entourage with big smiles on their faces. Those smiles were wiped off of them within seconds. Even before they could ask for the autograph, Will snapped at them: 'Nah, go back to your parents' while he shoved them into the direction from which they came. The kids were shocked, to say the least, and stood there for a moment without moving. They obviously weren't moving fast enough for your highness Smith, so this time it was one of his 'guys' (bodyguard?) who shoved them forward. The pair then ran to their parents and cried. There were numerous people who'd seen it, and numerous who were stunned to see such a thing coming from someone like him. I remember the father saying he'd 'sort it' but the mother stopped him, saying it wasn't worth it.

What an absolute ass he turned out to be. I know that celebrities are under lots of pressure, and never get any time without being harassed by someone. But he is a star admired by many, and at the time, especially young people and kids. He should be able to handle the attention. Or at least, handle it in a different manner. For years, I felt sorry for his kids because in that moment, it didn't really seem like he even liked kids. I can be mistaken, of course but that's the way I saw it then. That's what he showed. He didn't show himself as the nice and lovable guy we all knew from the Fresh Prince. He was an ass.

So what happened during the Oscars?

Right away I knew it was fake. Yeah, it looked and sounded real but hey, that's what they DO in Hollywood. It would be pretty bad if two major actors couldn't pull off something, and make everyone that sees it believe it... When Chris made the GI Jane joke, Will laughed, and Jada rolled her eyes. That could have been fake, or they changed the timing with the video. Then the slap. Did Chris brace for it? Did Will give him a fake smack? I don't know. All I know is that my very core told me it was all an act. A distraction. But why? For what?

Until I found this:

I've done the homework, it checks out. Just have a look here From the horses' mouth...

Conclusion

The whole Oscar Will slapping Chris thing over the 'insult' (read: joke) was as fake as could be. A distraction. Meanwhile giving attention to alopecia. For which Pfizer happens to have a medicine that's not far from production phase.

Now, this would be a whole lot of coincidences wrapped up into one if one and one wasn't two. The conclusion of it all? Christ and Will are great actors. Will is still an ass...

I still think it was a little staged. His open marriage wife was laughing at the joke. Then change the tune really quick. The fact that the oscars are the lowest views in history. Along with the new medicine from pfizer it is sus.

I have been saying FAKE for days now too but everyone is telling me that Will Smith would not have been cursing if it was fake. Then I explain that HE IS AN ACTOR!!!! -and they still tell me I am crazy. PS. Chris Rock's comedy shows sold out immediately the next day. it is all promotion!

  • @ironshield(76)· 1649d

No coincidences. It's two actors, on a stage at an event desperately seeking ratings, sponsored by a pharma company with more money then they know what to do with.

    PERFECT SITUATION FOR A SLAP.

It does look all staged and I don't even watch the Oscars anymore. I guess it did bring some publicity and got the Oscars on more people's radars. Maybe they will get a lot more viewers next year.

Thank you so much for your insight into Will Smith and this incident. I have been around a few celebrities and I have to say I am usually not impressed. The Pfizer hair loss drug angle is I think DEAD ON. Create a scene, bring attention to Alopecia and prepare people for your new drug. Thanks again!

I am not the kinda person who is watching tv all day, I´m also not the kinda person who follows all the Hollywood happenings. This, however, I had seen. And from the very first moment, I thought it is fake. I didn´t know why, but it felt fake to me. Although it does perfectly fit with Will Smith´s behavior in the past.

Thanks for this post! Now it does make sense!

  • @thisismylife(77)· 1650d

Wow, I knew if it was fake, you'd come up with proof somehow haha.

    Thanks!

And what an absolute ass indeed, djeez! Poor kids.

  • @nbarrios67(70)· 1650d

From the beginning this fact has seemed to me to be a performance that has been followed with a lot of morbidness by the public! There have been more offensive jokes than this one and nothing happened.

  • @beststart(68)· 1650d

There has certainly been much attention to the event, @misslasvegas, but the bigger question is does anyone really care anymore? Good post!

  • @amirtheawesome1(72)· 1650d

I hear what you're saying and I see it as a healthy conclusion. I still have an issue believing it was fake, even though I will admit, I barely care to have a case for either lol! I am more interested in the conversation around that and people's reaction than the incident itself.

  • @alente(57)· 1650d

All of these Movie stars are creeps. I don't watch many movies anymore because of all the awful people in Hollywood.

  • @rcaine(69)· 1650d

Fake or not. I believe it is getting way too much attention. Thanks for your post.

Very interesting post, I watched the replay of what happened myself and to me it looked a bit fake

Fake fake fake, and even if it was real it was in a fake setting surrounded by fake people.

Everyone distracted talking about the Oscars....that real.

Imagine if everyone was talking about the government's have destroyed lifes and businesses with their policies over the last two years. Now there's something to talk about....

No deffinatly not an act. Did you see him shouting from the audiance, his eyes were glossed over and he was seeing red. He's a good actor, but that good?

His wife had him on her show talking about how she cheated on him and then he high fived her. He's a cuck and once he seen her face he most likely felt it was either do something or she might play around again.

Ooh... the plot thickens. I knew it was fake from the get-go and I've been trying to make it plain for people around me, but that right there-- the Pfizer connection-- seals it. (And who was one of the biggest sponsors of the Oscars this year, you ask? Pfizer, of course!)

What a scam this world has become. The overarching principle I'm teaching my 11-year-old daughter right now is: EVERYTHING THEY TELL US IS A LIE. Sad, but true more often than not.

Thanks for this. !LUV !PIZZA !hivebits

i havnt seen it, but when I heard about it I immediately thought it sounded like a complete charade. I assumed it was to try to make the oscars more exciting as no-one really cares anymore! haha your theory is far darker and more intriguing
