Llamada en Latinoamérica como The King’s Man: El Origen, es una película de acción, drama histórico, comedia y espionaje, basada en los comic The Secret Service [Mark Millar y Dave Gibbons] es la tercera entrega de la franquicia. Sin embargo sirve como presecula de sus antecesoras. Dirigida por Matthew Vaughn y protagonizada por Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander y Harris Dickinson.
Contexto
A inicios los años 1900 una desgracia sacude a los Oxford, una familia aristocrática con mucha influencia, el pacifista Duque, Orlando Oxford, impulsado por el dolor de perder a su esposa, decide que es el momento de hacer algo, el mundo necesita alguien que evite los conflictos antes que sean causados. Por ello, a partir de alli pone todo su empeño en cambiar las reglas del juego, para ello recluta Polly y Shola quienes le permitirán tejer una dedicada red de espionaje por toda Inglaterra y tal vez así influir en los resultados de la historia.
Con los años, él no es el único capaz de organizarse para cambiar la historia, un grupo formado por tiranos y mentes criminales de todo el mundo, quiere iniciar una guerra que matara a millones, solo por venganza. Orlando y su equipo son los únicos que pueden hacer algo, para ello deberán interferir en los hechos mas importantes de su época para acabar con el conflicto, al mismo tiempo que protege a su único hijo de los peligros del mundo en que viven. Y así sentar las bases para una organización que en años futuros velara por el destino de la humanidad.
Opinión y Análisis
Intente verme esta película por mucho tiempo, pero siempre la posponía por distintos motivos, hasta que cansada de procrastinar decidí que ya era el momento de verla. No mentiré, no le tenia muchas esperanzas, ni expectativas, las terceras entregas casi siempre me decepcionan, como a muchos, creo que por eso mi subconsciente la evitaba. Una pésima decisión, porque la película me gusto, lo que fue una agradable sorpresa.
Creo que fue una buena decisión ambientarla muchos años antes de los sucesos de la primera, mostrar los orígenes de la organización y como esta ha influenciado en hechos de la humanidad, incluso en su inicio. La inserción que hicieron los personajes en la cronología de la época, me encanto totalmente, además otro hecho que me gusto mucho, fue la exageración que sufrieron algunas figuras de la historia, realzando estos detalles por los cuales eran conocidos en su momento, y todavía se les conoce así.
Hay muchas escenas de acción, algo que distingue la franquicia es su estilo y coreografías de luchas, y esta no decepciona en eso. Creo que mi pelea favorita es la que sucede contra Rasputín, la música acompañada con una coreografía creativa, que fusiona danzas características de Rusia, me pareció sorprendente y entretenido, algo muy ingenioso, además estamos ante uno de los personajes mas raros y misteriosos de la historia Rusa, lo que le suma mas puntos a la escena. En lo que a mi respecta, Rasputín se llevo el show entre los villanos, no que los otros no fueran interesantes pero no tenían la carisma de este sádico monje, incluso iniciaron muchas referencias a su leyenda, cosa que encanta.
Creo que la trama es entretenida, muy acorde a la franquicia, desde que vi la primera parte su estilo me encanto, claro es una película de espías y sigue ese tópico, pero agrega un toque exacto de comedia y de exageración, sin caer en un parodia, que le queda muy bien y la vuelve atrayente. Es genial y esta entrega también lo es, la época le sienta bien, además trata de ser un poco mas seria con respecto a las otras, la guerra no es fácil y sin duda te lo dicen a gritos, eso fue interesante, mostrar la crudeza y ser compasivos con el tema sin dejar su peculiaridad atrás.
En conclusión, la recomiendo totalmente, si te gusta la acción o los filmes de espías te gustara. Es genial para verla una tarde de fin de semana, donde quieres salir del estrés diario, viendo una obra mas directa y entretenida.

I tried to watch this movie for a long time, but I always postponed it for different reasons, until I got tired of procrastinating and decided it was time to watch it. I won't lie, I didn't have high hopes, nor expectations, the third installments almost always disappoint me, like many, I think that's why my subconscious avoided it. A lousy decision, because I liked the movie, which was a pleasant surprise.
I think it was a good decision to set it many years before the events of the first one, to show the origins of the organization and how it has influenced the events of humanity, even in its beginning. The insertion that made the characters in the chronology of the time, I totally loved, and another fact that I liked a lot, was the exaggeration that suffered some figures in history, enhancing these details for which they were known at the time, and they are still known as such.
There are a lot of action scenes, something that distinguishes the franchise is its style and fight choreography, and this one doesn't disappoint in that. I think my favorite fight is the one against Rasputin, the music accompanied with a creative choreography, which fuses dances characteristic of Russia, I found it surprising and entertaining, something very ingenious, plus we are facing one of the most rare and mysterious characters in Russian history, which adds more points to the scene. As far as I'm concerned, Rasputin took the show among the villains, not that the others weren't interesting but they didn't have the charisma of this sadistic monk, they even started many references to his legend, which I love.
I think the plot is entertaining, very consistent with the franchise, since I saw the first part I loved his style, of course it is a spy movie and follows that topic, but adds a touch of comedy and exaggeration, without falling into a parody, which fits very well and makes it attractive. It's great and this installment is also great, the period suits it well, it also tries to be a little more serious with respect to the others, war is not easy and no doubt they tell it to you loudly, that was interesting, to show the rawness and be compassionate with the subject without leaving its peculiarity behind.
In conclusion, I totally recommend it, if you like action or spy films you will like it. It's great to watch it on a weekend afternoon, where you want to get away from the daily stress, watching a more direct and entertaining work.
