Instead of taking us through the popular and conventional stories of Clark Kent on his path to becoming Superman, we are tossed into a series filled with family drama, action, comedy, and love.

With a strong focus on the intense decisions taken to keep a family secret, as well the consequences that occur from keeping such a huge secret.

Now, I believe we are all familiar with the origin story of Superman, and if you are not...then I'm sorry, but you're a cave Man. But to help you understand what a superman is. And why?.. I suggest you watch the man of steel movie, or any of the various collections of Superman movies. Or you can read it via Wikipedia, or simply just watch the video below.

Summary

In the series Superman and Lois, we see the couple Clark kent and Lois lane, move back to Smallville from Metropolis, where they initially were staying.

And Clark, who was finding it difficult to keep the secret of, who he is from his teenage sons, Jonathan and Jordan, eventually decided to tell them, with the support of his wife (Lois). She only supported him because, their big relocation from Metropolis to Smallville was taking a toll on her family, and, if the secret stays hidden, it could break her family.

Now, with the teenage boys knowing that their father is the strongest man on the planet Earth. The movie kicks into motion, tossing us into various boss fights, family reunions, drama, and cute love moments.

Reunion

• Clark returns to Smallville to reunite with the people of the town and his forever best friend and ex-lover Lana. She is married to a muscular firefighter husband and already has two lovely daughters.

Drama

• This part begins with the introduction of Clarks's stepbrother, who is without a doubt charming, but also unquestionably evil. He turns the whole city into his battleground in his quest to claim earth in the name of krypton, reviving his lost race, so that Earth would be their new home.

Cute love moments

• There's no doubt that whenever teens are present in a movie or series, there is bound to be a cupid somewhere around the corner, shooting arrows of love at unsuspecting victims.

In this part of the movie, we have a lot of love moments but the one that overshadows all is the love that bloomed between Jordan Kent and Lana's daughter Sarah. The two begin their love entanglement, with Jordan getting into a fight, where he gets beaten senselessly. But it wasn't for nothing as this wimpy kid won the heart of the most beautiful girl in his school, neighborhood, and everywhere in general, even though he lost the fight.

• Bonus scene We get to see one of Clark Kent's sons develop superpowers. And yes only one. But which one could it be?

• Personal Reflection.

There are a lot of things I like about this series ranging from the cast, which includes the well known Tyler from the Teen wolves series, who is playing Superman(and he pulls it off very perfectly), to the perfect chemistry portrayed by every character in this series. As every action they take feels so real, intense, love-struck, and straight out cheesy. Which is exactly what life is about(entertainment).

The way the series portrayed "a family with a big secret" is exceptional. As we see not just Superman, but his entire family struggle with the weight of his huge secret.

I'm extremely in love with Jordan❤️Sarah it's a total dream goal. Although I feel that it would have worked best if it was Jonathan❤️Sarah. I mean, the boy is cute, the girl is extremely cute...what could go wrong??

what I truly dislike, but I'm starting to agree with, is the fact that they(the writers) gave Jordan powers and left Jonathan with nothing. I mean, everyone knows that Jonathan is Superboy, so when they played out this whole act,... I ..was..en..raGED!

BUT now, I understand that it was a necessary twist so that the storyline can be manipulated In ways that are different from the comics or any other Superman story that has ever been told.

• P.S - I never knew Superman had a brother. So I enjoyed his character.

• And finally, it kinda has that Smallville VFX edit, which is not awesome but also not lame but serves to push things through(an okay edit), and together with the acting, it delivered a power series. (for a tv series, the VFX is not bad).

Comparing the Tv series to the movie version, dear friends, I am happy to tell you that this series stands out in every way possible. As it has a unique storyline that counters those of the movies, and comics, with a VFX that rivals but are not equal to the movie version. etc...(origin story aside)

And comparing it to the Supergirl franchise, I say... that, this movie got everything right in one season than supergirl ever did in three seasons.

It's an absolute Gold

Conclusion

Finally, my dear friends, I say that the series Superman and Lois deserves a rating of awesome, and should collect all the awards, the Grammies, the Oscars, the MTV awards, every single award that exists out there!!! Why? Because it's better than awesome, and beats every other DC superhero series hands down, even though it's a new series.

• So, friends if you love, action, and you love a good superhero series that is not the flash, then, I recommend you go for this, and I promise, you will NOT regret it.
