Wrestling, love it or hate it, whatever your thoughts are about it, it was always popular, ladies wrestling not so much until GLOW. Who would imagine that this would end up such a fun little TV Show based on true life story. Gorgeous Ladies of Wresling or GLOW was very popular back in the day, because hey, the name says it all. Who doesn't like to see good looking ladies wrestle in tight spandex suits. There are worse shows to be watching these days than this. Alison Brie is awesome in this one, her quirky persona is still present after her Annie role in Community, who ever watched that one will have fun with this one too.
She plays a role of a struggling actress looking for a good gig to propel her to stardome, unfortunately for her she could only find a part for a wrestler in gorgeous ladies of wrestling, a new highly experimental TV Show. The other cast members are mostly there to make you laugh, but also there is some drama as one could expect from the ladies. One surprising role nobody expected to see is of a stand up comedian Marc Maron who plays a director of the whole GLOW show. He is a true cynic and his personality matches perfectly with Alison Brie. The show is going for it's third season in 2019, so you should give it a try, it is very watchable. Score: 8/10.
