Desamparada decide ir a la casa de su madre que es bipolar y que vive en un automóvil con su nueva pareja. Allí deja a Maddy a cargo de su madre y decide buscar empleo como doméstica o Maid. El trabajo es nefasto porque tiene que hacer un montón de limpieza por unos pocos dólares que solo le alcanzan para la gasolina y tampones.
