La actualidad del MCU es cada vez menos esperanzador con respecto a la calidad de las producciones cinematograficas y ahora en formato de series de TV; la cuarta fase no fue totalmente satisfactoria y eso hace que obligatoriamente en la quinta fase que comenzó en este año, se debe dar inicio a lo que será el complemento a todo lo referente al multiuniverso que fue tema principal de la fase anterior y eso se consigue con la aparición del principal antagonista que tendrá la obligación de llenar o igualar lo hecho por el gran villano que mantuvo ocupados a los Heroes más Poderosos de La Tierra por un gran número de películas y es por eso que con el estreno del tercer film de un héroe que más que importante, la realidad es que es conocido por ser un complemento, se muestra la gran amenaza que deberán enfrentar "The Avengers" en un futuro.

Después de ver la decepcionante "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" en las salas de cine, me hice una promesa de no ver alguna otra película del MCU en ese formato y esperar al estreno en VOD o en Disney Plus para así ver las nuevas películas del MCU cómo "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" que es el trigesimo primer film del MCU y que en esta oportunidad se enfoca en la vida de "Scott Lang" que después de derrotar a Thanos juntos a los demás Avengers, debe lidiar con la fama, la paz después de la victoria y con algo más importante lo cual es recuperar el tiempo perdido con su ahora adolescente hija, "Cassie"; justamente es eso dónde Scott todavía está desaparecido, ya que la relación padre e hija no es la mejor porque Cassie se siente más identificada con "Hope" y "Hank Pym" y esa unión hace que está chica demuestre un gran nivel de inteligencia que le hace crear un dispositivo que puede mandar una señal hacia el Reino Cuántico para poder mapear ese interesante y nada explorado lugar, pero esa señal que llega de nuestro mundo, hará que desde el reino cuántico se despierte un interés de quien busca salir de ese lugar para demostrar su potencial, para demostrar lo despiadado que es, así como lo ha hecho en otros mundos que ha conquistado y es por eso que tanto Scott, como Hope junto a su padre, Hank y su madre "Janet van Dyne", deberán hacer lo posible para enfrentar a esa nueva amenaza que pondrá en peligro a todos los mundos del multiverso.
After seeing the disappointing "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" in theaters, I made a promise to myself not to see any other MCU movie in that format and wait for the release on VOD or Disney Plus to see the new MCU movies like "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" which is the thirty-first MCU film and this time focuses on the life of "Scott Lang" who after defeating Thanos together with the other Avengers, must deal with fame, peace after victory and something more important which is making up for lost time with his now teenage daughter, "Cassie"; that's exactly where Scott is still missing, since the father-daughter relationship is not the best because Cassie feels more identified with Hope and Hank Pym and that union makes this girl show a great level of intelligence that makes her create a device that can send a signal to the Quantum Realm to map that interesting and unexplored place, but that signal coming from our world, will awaken an interest from the quantum realm who seeks to leave that place to demonstrate its potential, to show how ruthless it is, as it has done in other worlds it has conquered and that is why both Scott and Hope along with his father, Hank and his mother Janet van Dyne, must do everything possible to confront this new threat that will endanger all the worlds of the multiverse.
Está tercera película basada en "Ant-Man" se prestó para que el director Peyton Reed, quien dirigió los anteriores dos films, pueda tener un pleno control creativo y no estirar una idea de quién originalmente debió dirigir a esta franquicia; esto en mi opinión, creo que daba la posibilidad para que este director hiciera un tipo de borrón y cuenta nueva con la historia de este héroe y es por eso que con la ayuda del guionista Jeff Loveness, puedan crear un mundo nuevo que funcione con el lanzamiento de la fase 5; todo un perfecto plan en dónde usan a un héroe que tuvo importancia en el último film de Avengers y que por los momentos tenga también importancia por los conocimientos que tenga él y sus amigos con respecto al mundo cuántico, pero creo que de ahí se origina un problema tanto para el director como el guionista, ya que como dije antes, se pasa de estirar una idea en dos films a mostrar mucha influencia de otras franquicias para la realización de esta película.
Estoy seguro de que la idea principal de Marvel Studios era realizar un film divertido, con mucha aventura, acción y que se desarrolle en un mundo que brevemente ha sido explorado en la franquicia de Ant-Man y es por eso que no había duda que ese mundo sería un tema importante para este film y que permitiría dar conocimiento a factores que deben impulsar la quinta fase del MCU; en mi opinión, era un plan simple para que este film sea un impulsor así como fue la escena post-creditos de "Iron Man" o la de "The Avengers"; ahora esto no es una escena de menos de un minuto, es un film de dos horas de duración y por eso debe tener una historia para que sea el complemento perfecto de las características antes descritas y es ahí donde comienza los problemas para esta producción. Crear una copia al mundo que creó George Lucas en Star Wars y también copiar a lo hecho en los dos films de "TRON" es algo que me sorprendió y no de la mejor manera; en el momento del estreno leí que esta película haría feliz a los fans de Star Wars, pero la realidad es que lo vi cómo algo simple, una salida fácil por parte del director y guionista en dónde decidieron copiar situaciones y personajes para desarrollar una historia con la necesidad de dar introducción al nuevo gran villano a vencer.
This third film based on "Ant-Man" lent itself so that the director Peyton Reed, who directed the previous two films, can have full creative control and not stretch an idea of who originally should have directed this franchise; this in my opinion, I think gave the possibility for this director to make a kind of clean slate with the history of this hero and that's why with the help of screenwriter Jeff Loveness, they can create a new world that works with the launch of phase 5; all a perfect plan where they use a hero that had importance in the last Avengers film and that at the moment also has importance for the knowledge that he and his friends have regarding the quantum world, but I think that from there originates a problem for both the director and the screenwriter, because as I said before, it goes from stretching an idea in two films to show much influence from other franchises for the realization of this film.
I'm sure Marvel Studios' main idea was to make a fun film, with lots of adventure, action and set in a world that has been briefly explored in the Ant-Man franchise and that's why there was no doubt that world would be an important theme for this film and that it would give insight into factors that should drive the fifth phase of the MCU; in my opinion, it was a simple plan for this film to be a driver as was the post-credits scene of "Iron Man" or "The Avengers"; now this is not a scene of less than a minute, it is a two-hour film and therefore must have a story to be the perfect complement to the features described above and that is where the problems begin for this production. Creating a copy of the world that George Lucas created in Star Wars and also copying what was done in the two "TRON" films is something that surprised me and not in the best way; at the time of the premiere I read that this film would make Star Wars fans happy, but the reality is that I saw it as something simple, an easy way out by the director and screenwriter where they decided to copy situations and characters to develop a story with the need to introduce the new great villain to beat.
Las actuaciones de los actores que interpretan a los cinco héroes no son las mejores sin importar el tiempo que tuvieron en sus escenas, ninguna se puede decir que fue la mejor; Paul Rudd es de esos actores que pareciera interpretar al mismo personaje en varias de sus películas; no hay nada para destacar y es que el problema con su personaje en este film es que ni cómico es; creo que se perdió una gran oportunidad de desarrollar una buena historia sobre cómo recuperar la gran conexión que tiene con su hija lo cual es el motivo principal de este personaje desde un principio y es que hay algo grave en esta producción, eso es la nula química que existe entre Rudd y Kathryn Newton que en esta oportunidad interpreta a "Cassie", en mi opinión es la peor actuación y el peor personaje, es el menos interesante, es el más molesto de ver; su actuación es forzada, es aburrida, simple, no hay emoción y sé que está es una versión adolescente del personaje, pero creo que se pudo escribir y actuar mejor. Ahora, por parte de la actuación de Jonathan Majors cómo "Kang the Conqueror", puedo decir que por supuesto es muy diferente a la versión del mismo personaje vista en la serie de TV "Loki"; en esta oportunidad este personaje es sereno, calculador, vil y algo que me gustó y eso es lo poca o nada de humildad que él tiene; con esto puedo decir que es el mejor personaje del film, posiblemente y esto lo digo así por qué me hubiera gustado ver más aunque seguramente en un futuro próximo, en la segunda temporada de la serie del hermano de Thor, las respuestas a mi interrogante serán respondidas.
The performances of the actors who play the five heroes are not the best regardless of the time they had in their scenes, none of them can be said to be the best; Paul Rudd is one of those actors who seems to play the same character in several of his films; there is nothing to highlight and the problem with his character in this film is that he is not even funny; I think he missed a great opportunity to develop a good story about how to recover the great connection he has with his daughter which is the main motive of this character from the beginning and there is something serious in this production, that is the null chemistry that exists between Rudd and Kathryn Newton who in this opportunity plays "Cassie", in my opinion is the worst performance and the worst character, is the least interesting, is the most annoying to watch; her performance is forced, it's boring, simple, there's no emotion and I know this is a teenage version of the character, but I think it could have been written and acted better. Now, as for the performance of Jonathan Majors as "Kang the Conqueror", I can say that of course it is very different from the version of the same character seen in the TV series "Loki"; in this opportunity this character is serene, calculating, vile and something I liked and that is how little or no humility he has; with this I can say that he is the best character of the film, possibly and I say this because I would have liked to see more although surely in the near future, in the second season of the series of Thor's brother, the answers to my question will be answered.
En otro momento, en otra época o fase, seguramente que Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania tendría un éxito normal, así como los obtuvo películas como la segunda y tercera película de Iron Man, el primer film de Thor, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Captain Marvel y otras más dónde no son buenas películas, pero recibieron tan buen apoyo en la taquilla que muchos piensan que sí, son relevantes y excelentes films, pero como ha sucedido con las producciones de la anterior y aburrida fase 4, creo que Marvel Studios y Disney, no aprendieron de los fallos cometidos y siguen repitiendo o empeorando una fórmula que aburre y posiblemente no tenga un mejor transitar en el futuro. Lamento que las secuelas de Ant-Man no son tan buenas como el primer film, lamento que la idea del universo compartido siga convirtiendo en víctimas a sus producciones solo por dar introducción a un personaje o por cumplir un contrato y nada más, me parece aburrido que se siga hablando de una escena post-creditos en vez de todo un film y lo peor es que sigan creando altas expectativas a personas que son muy fans del MCU; las teorías que se crea ese fandom son mejores de lo que se crea los guionistas de estas películas e imagino lo decepcionante que debe ser al ver que no acertar nada. Hay un problema con el cine basado en comics y creo que pronto no habrá una solución porque a pesar de que no exista un éxito contundente como en años anteriores, de igual manera sigue creando dinero y saben que siguen atrayendo la atención de muchos, habrá que esperar al próximo estreno que veré cuando llegue a un formato en dónde pueda verla en la comodidad de mi hogar.
In another time, in another era or phase, surely Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania would have a normal success, as did films like the second and third Iron Man movies, the first Thor film, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Captain Marvel and others where they are not good movies, but received such good support at the box office that many think that yes, they are relevant and excellent films, but as has happened with the productions of the previous and boring phase 4, I think Marvel Studios and Disney, did not learn from the mistakes made and continue repeating or worsening a formula that is boring and possibly will not have a better journey in the future. I regret that the Ant-Man sequels are not as good as the first film, I regret that the idea of the shared universe continues to turn their productions into victims just to introduce a character or to fulfill a contract and nothing more, I find it boring that they keep talking about a post-credits scene instead of a whole film and the worst thing is that they continue to create high expectations to people who are very fans of the MCU; the theories that this fandom creates are better than what the screenwriters of these movies create and I imagine how disappointing it must be to see that they don't get anything right. There is a problem with movies based on comic books and I think there will not be a solution soon because even though there is not a resounding success as in previous years, it still continues to create money and they know that they continue to attract the attention of many, we will have to wait for the next release that I will see when it comes to a format where I can see it in the comfort of my home.
