Parece que es imposible no ser testigo de lo que se considera la caída o la fase oscura que está padeciendo el MCU; producciones cinematográficas y series que no terminan de funcionar o ser relevantes como sucedió en las tres primeras fases de este universo basado en personajes de Marvel Comics; actualmente cada producción presenta fallas en la historia, narrativa, CGI, dirección, actuación y es que la idea de dar relevancia a personajes pocos conocidos y que el relato de sus historias se convierta en un puente para otras producciones protagonizadas por personajes más importantes, se ha convertido en lo que en mi opinión es la enfermedad de la ya no poderosa franquicia en dónde cada estreno genera más dudas que aciertos.

La miniserie de Hawkeye fue bastante entretenida, buenos momentos, historia fluida y corta, pero con el genérico final que la convirtió en "otra más" de esas producciones del MCU que no tuvo un buen impacto; uno de los puntos que consideré como positivo fue el personaje de "Maya Lopez", que tuvo muy buen desarrollo e interpretación en su breve momento en esa historia y por eso cuando supe que sería protagonista de su propia miniserie, fue imposible no crearme expectativas que lamentablemente fue disminuyendo al presenciar el momento actual de esta franquicia. Para la primera producción del MCU de este año tenía ideado ver una historia de redención, de sanar heridas, superar traumas y por supuesto, mucha acción; algo bastante directo, pero nuevamente repito, el mal estado en escritura que actualmente posee el MCU, hace que lo simple se convierta en una suma de ideas desarrolladas de manera errónea.
En esta miniserie nuevamente sale a la palestra el asunto de ser una producción basada en un comic, esto lo digo porque no debe ser una copia fidedigna y que puede tener cierta libertad; ahora justamente esa libertad puede hacer que la historia sea de calidad o no y en esta oportunidad, creo que se tomó ideas erradas para el corto relato de la historia de redención de Maya. Puedo estar de acuerdo que cada héroe debe tener ciertos poderes para solventar un sin fin de problemas, pero lo que sucede en esta producción es algo que costó entender o conectarme y eso es debido a lo caótico de ciertas situaciones con los ancestros de Maya, esto es el claro ejemplo de como una acertada idea es muy mal ejecutada y es que es imposible tener una opinión positiva de una producción con uno de los peores guiones que he visto en el MCU.
The Hawkeye miniseries was quite entertaining, good moments, fluid and short story, but with the generic ending that turned it into "just another" of those MCU productions that did not have a good impact; one of the points that I considered as positive was the character of "Maya Lopez", who had very good development and interpretation in her brief moment in that story and that's why when I knew she would be the protagonist of her own miniseries, it was impossible not to create expectations that unfortunately was decreasing when witnessing the current moment of this franchise. For the first production of the MCU this year I had planned to see a story of redemption, healing wounds, overcoming traumas and of course, a lot of action; something quite straightforward, but again I repeat, the poor state of writing that currently has the MCU, makes the simple becomes a sum of ideas developed in the wrong way.
In this miniseries again comes to the fore the issue of being a production based on a comic book, I say this because it should not be a faithful copy and that may have some freedom; now precisely that freedom can make the story is of quality or not and this time, I think it took wrong ideas for the short story of the story of redemption of Maya. I can agree that every hero should have certain powers to solve endless problems, but what happens in this production is something that was hard to understand or connect with and that is due to the chaotic nature of certain situations with Maya's ancestors, this is a clear example of how a good idea is poorly executed and it is impossible to have a positive opinion of a production with one of the worst scripts I've seen in the MCU.
Desde cierto tiempo el problema del MCU es la obligada necesidad de conectar todo un universo o de que sus producciones se convierta en un puente para lo que debe ser historias más importantes y "Echo" es la última víctima de esa práctica; justamente la miniserie que dio introducción a Maya Lopez, también padeció levemente de dicho problema al contar con la presentación de "Kingpin" en el MCU, ahora ese mismo personaje opaca completamente este errático relato del pasado, creencias y ancestros de Maya; convierte en una excusa la historia de una heroína que representa dos comunidades con poca participación en el mundo de los cómics, la minimiza en un paso más para lo que será la ansiada serie (no por mí) "Daredevil: Born Again".

Me sorprendió que Echo sea igual de intrascendente de lo que fue "Secret Invasion", digo esto porque no veo ningún futuro para este personaje, posiblemente una breve aparición en la próxima serie de Daredevil y nada más; esto es bastante mal por parte de Marvel Studios que con estas producciones vacías, sin importancia alguna en su relato le resta oportunidad a comunidades que pueden sentirse identificadas con Maya como personaje principal y lo lamento más por parte de Alaqua Cox quien hace una excelente actuación, su actitud, su temple y el desarrollo de su personaje desde sus gestos, su temple, de pasar de ser un personaje violento a sanador, es algo que me ha gustado y es por eso que el trato dado a ella como actriz a su personaje es de lo peor que se ha hecho en el MCU. Esta miniserie es tan irrelevante que lo que verdaderamente se debe tomar en cuenta para la nueva historia de Daredevil es la escena postcreditos.
