Comienza octubre y esto significa que ha comenzado lo que he llamado "Hivell💀ween", en todo este mes estaré haciendo reseñas de films de terror, historia de los muchos géneros que existen dentro de este que es muy especial, películas nuevas, clásicos, de otros países, todas estas historias estaré compartiendo con todos ustedes, sin más solo me queda invitarlos a unirse a esta iniciativa, pueden hacer una reseña y poder usar el #hivelloween en sus publicaciones y hacer esto algo excelente para la promoción de esta gran plataforma.

Me ha pasado varias veces que al nombrar a un director pueda sentir que he visto un gran número de sus trabajos sin considerarme un fiel seguidor, me ha pasado con _**Richard Donner, Michael Bay**_ y _**James Wan**_, este último hubo un momento que me sorprendió por dirigir muy buenos films de horror como **SAW, The Conjuring** y **Insidious**; las películas pertenecientes a estas franquicias dirigidas por _**Wan**_ son las mejores, me gustan mucho, creo que tiene una visión muy buena para el terror y es por eso que a pesar de las críticas mixtas que ha tenido su regreso a este género, no perdería la oportunidad de ver su último trabajo.

It has happened to me several times that when naming a director I may feel that I have seen a large number of his works without considering myself a faithful follower, it has happened to me with _**Richard Donner, Michael Bay**_ and _**James Wan**_, the latter there was a time that surprised me for directing very good horror films like **SAW, The Conjuring** and **Insidious**; the films belonging to these franchises directed by _**Wan**_ are the best, I like them a lot, I think he has a very good vision for horror and that's why despite the mixed reviews his return to this genre has had, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to see his latest work.
En "Malignant" veremos la trágica historia de Madinson, una mujer que busca con todas sus fuerzas ser madre a pesar de haber sufrido dos perdidas, a esto hay que sumar el mal matrimonio que tiene causa de un esposo posesivo y agresivo, pero esto no es lo único que acecha a Madinson, alguien de un pasado olvidado ha regresado, ha revivido para traer no solo terror a ella sino a todos los que la rodean, es por eso que ella deberá hacer frente a un enemigo muy cercano para superar el "freak show" el cual su vida se ha convertido.
In "Malignant" we will see the tragic story of Madinson, a woman who seeks with all her strength to be a mother despite having suffered two losses, to this we must add the bad marriage she has because of a possessive and aggressive husband, but this is not the only thing that haunts Madinson, someone from a forgotten past has returned, has revived to bring not only terror to her but to all those around her, that is why she must face a very close enemy to overcome the "freak show" which her life has become.
Como dije antes, a pesar de las críticas recibidas, buenas y malas, sobre el nuevo film de Wan, era una película que quería ver, ayer justamente leí una opinión que seguramente no estaba esperando, pero que me gustó leer y fue el breve tuit escrito por nada más y nada menos que Stephen King clasificando a este film como brillante, es por eso que decide sentarme a ver la nueva película de horror dirigida por San; primeramente creo que el trabajo de cámara es especial, los lugares elegidos para las escenas de terror y hasta puedo decir de acción fueron muy buenas, mis favoritas las de la casa y por supuesto la de la estación policial, hacer que la cámara gire en torno de un personaje es lo mejor, le da una perspectiva completa al espectador dando mayor suspenso.
La historia es de Wan junto a su esposa Ingrid Bisu y Akela Cooper quien fue la que escribió el guion, la historia puede ser un poco engañosa, esto lo digo porque yo no había visto el trailer, no quería saber mucho y solo esperaba no caer en ningún spoiler que me arruinara está película, en un principio pensaba que era el tipo de historia en dónde una mujer a causa de un trauma es perseguida por un espíritu maligno, una historia nada original, entonces cuando veo la primera hora de esta historia, veo que tiene un hospital, una criatura poderosa, terrorífica y una víctima que es perseguida, otra vez nada original, pero había algo que me atraía y me gustaba y es que de poder ser un film en dónde el antagonista fuera un espíritu maligno, pasamos a un Slasher con un asesino con tema, vestimenta, arma favorita y con una gran agresividad, eso me hizo enganchar a la historia y disfrutarla mucho más.
As I said before, despite the reviews received, good and bad, about the new film by Wan, it was a movie I wanted to see, yesterday I just read an opinion that I surely wasn't expecting, but I liked to read and it was the brief tweet written by none other than Stephen King classifying this film as brilliant, that's why I decide to sit down to watch the new horror movie directed by San; firstly I think the camera work is special, the locations chosen for the horror scenes and I can even say action scenes were very good, my favorites the ones in the house and of course the one in the police station, making the camera revolve around a character is the best, it gives a complete perspective to the viewer giving more suspense.
The story is by Wan with his wife Ingrid Bisu and Akela Cooper who was the one who wrote the script, the story can be a little misleading, I say this because I had not seen the trailer, I did not want to know much and I just hoped not to fall into any spoiler that would ruin this movie, at first I thought it was the kind of story where a woman because of a trauma is haunted by an evil spirit, a story nothing original, then when I see the first hour of this story, I see that it has a hospital, a powerful creature, terrifying and a victim who is persecuted, again nothing original, but there was something that attracted me and I liked and is that it could be a film where the antagonist was an evil spirit, we went to a Slasher with a killer with a theme, clothing, favorite weapon and with a great aggressiveness, that made me hooked to the story and enjoy it much more.
Las actuaciones, este debe ser el punto negativo de esta historia, no creo que ninguna sea destacada, aunque si hablo de malas actuaciones, sin ninguna duda que las hechas por George Young y Michole Briana White interpretando a los detectives "Kekoa Shaw" y "Regina Moss" se llevan todos los premios, que malos actores, que malos personajes, no sirvieron absolutamente para nada, su mal trabajo en este film opaco el poco desempeño de los demás actores; me fuera gustado más que su protagonista Annabelle Wallis tuviera más de dónde poder hacer algo mejor, pero no me quejó de su trabajo aunque me.fuera gustado ver una mejor evolución de su personaje.
The performances, this must be the negative point of this story, I don't think any of them are outstanding, although if I talk about bad performances, without any doubt that the ones made by George Young and Michole Briana White playing the detectives "Kekoa Shaw" and "Regina Moss" take all the awards, what bad actors, what bad characters, they were absolutely useless, their bad work in this film overshadowed the poor performance of the other actors; I would have liked more if her leading lady Annabelle Wallis had more where to do something better, but I am not complaining about her work even if I would have liked to see a better evolution of her character. I would have liked to see a better evolution of her character.
Entiendo que haya personas que no conecten con este film, según tengo entendido este es un homenaje a películas pertenecientes al género "Giallo", me gustaría tener más conocimiento de este género para de ir si este homenaje o la influencia fue la mejor o la peor, pero en mi humilde opinión puedo decir que Wan hizo un gran trabajo para tomar lo que es referente en este género y llevarlo a su historia, una de la cual disfrute muchas cosas, primero su antagonista, segundo, el gore y lo gráfica que es y por supuesto sus 30 minutos finales que para mí la hace espectacular, no podía creer lo que estaba viendo, inesperado, es lo que puedo decir de su acto final uno que tal vez en el tiempo pueda tener un mejor reconocimiento de los fans de los films de horror; por todo lo antes descrito recomiendo esta película, creo que al verla sin ninguna expectativa a pesar del director, creo que ayuda mucho para disfrutar, lo otro es paciencia, su primera hora es muy rápida y después de eso se hace mucho mejor, para quien no la ha visto, tienen una buena oportunidad para ver un film muy bien dirigido, mal actuado, pero con un gran final.
I understand that there are people who do not connect with this film, as I understand this is a tribute to films belonging to the genre "Giallo", I would like to have more knowledge of this genre to go if this tribute or influence was the best or the worst, but in my humble opinion I can say that Wan did a great job to take what is referent in this genre and take it to his story, one of which I enjoyed many things, first its antagonist, second, the gore and how graphic it is and of course its final 30 minutes which for me makes it spectacular, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, unexpected, is what I can say about its final act one that maybe in time may have a better recognition from horror film fans; for all the above described I recommend this film, I think that watching it without any expectations despite the director, I think it helps a lot to enjoy, the other thing is patience, its first hour is very fast and after that it becomes much better, for those who have not seen it, have a good opportunity to see a very well directed film, poorly acted, but with a great ending.
