Siempre he pensado que cada cierto tiempo un artista debe regresar a sus orígenes y porque no rehacer o mejorar una idea usando toda la experiencia ganada en muchos años; esa es mi principal pensamiento sobre el desempeño en la dirección de Chris Nolan en Oppenheimer; en este nuevo film al renunciar al uso del CGI le da por enfocarse en algo más importante y es en quien relata los diferentes puntos de vista de una misma historia; justamente eso es sumamente importante porque se enfoca en sus dos personajes principales, los cuales son muy diferentes, pero importante para muchos acontecimientos de esta gran historia. En esta oportunidad, Nolan solo quiere es que el público sienta la motivación, sueños, deseos, preocupación y miedo de sus protagonistas y por eso en muchas escenas veremos close up a los rostros de quiénes relatan la historia, estoy convencido de que Nolan quería que el espectador sea parte de cada decisión, de cada sentimiento de culpa, de horror del cual está película representa y eso es un excelente desempeño de este director que consiguió la historia perfecta, para desarrollar una narrativa larga y posiblemente densa, pero muy interesante.
Para el guion, Nolan no solo quería darle protagonismo a sus personajes enfocando su rostro en muchas escenas del film, la verdadera importancia de esta historia es el cómo este director y guionista decide usar los diferentes puntos de vista de sus dos protagonistas principales. En esta historia en dónde se explora en primera instancia las diferentes vivencias que motivan a Oppenheimer a tener esa curiosidad sobre ciertas teorías, la encontré necesaria para el desarrollo de su personaje y es que al obtener reconocimiento y empezar a influir en otros, el ego y el poder fue en aumento, esto me pareció genial porque a menudo observamos a genios ser adulados, exaltados, se les permite todo (o casi todo) y después esa imagen de ser alguien único, es al que tendrá una lenta caída, una que cuando impacte con el suelo pueda crear una gran explosión; justamente ese es el relato de esta historia, el uso de la mente de uno o varios genios, el uso de una creación asombrosa y tenebroso, el impacto causado y después de un sentimiento de culpa existe la necesidad de ser castigado, de ser borrado, de perder notoriedad, esto es lo que me pareció fascinante porque como dije al comienzo de esta publicación, el legado es importante para este tipo de películas y justamente en esta historia, el legado en vez de ser esperanzador, en realidad es terrorífico.

Sé que para muchas personas, "Oppenheimer", puede ser un film denso y creo que eso es debido a la gran cantidad de información que provee los diálogos al comienzo del film, eso hace que sea difícil acentuar a cada personaje que va apareciendo y al momento de acentuarse la historia, se hace mejor del que es; mi recomendación es visualizar algún documental o alguna breve producción basada en la carrera armamentista causada por la segunda guerra mundial y el origen de la Guerra Fría entre la Unión Soviética y los Estados Unidos, son los temas para captar mejor lo que se discute tres horas de duración y así disfrutar de esta gran obra hecha por Christopher Nolan.

I know that for many people, "Oppenheimer", can be a dense film and I think that is due to the large amount of information provided by the dialogues at the beginning of the film, that makes it difficult to accentuate each character that appears and when the story is accentuated, it becomes better than it is; my recommendation is to watch a documentary or a short production based on the arms race caused by the Second World War and the origin of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States, are the topics to better grasp what is discussed three hours long and thus enjoy this great work made by Christopher Nolan.
