Siempre he pensado que la necesidad de realizar cambios en el relato de alguna producción biográfica es tan necesario porque de una manera u otra debe haber un plan para el desarrollo de la historia que se busca relatar en uno o varios episodios; el trabajo de guionistas y directores es suministrar una emoción que posiblemente no sea la mejor para captar la atención de quien ve una película o serie de TV y es por eso que en diferentes segmentos o en toda la historia en sí, habrá situaciones y personajes que captarán nuestra atención dando emoción y hasta sentido a una historia; esto posiblemente sea lo que observamos en un gran porcentaje de películas y como ejemplo tomo el film del cual hago reseña en esta publicación.
I have always thought that the need to make changes in the story of a biographical production is so necessary because in one way or another there must be a plan for the development of the story to be told in one or several episodes; The work of screenwriters and directors is to provide an emotion that may not be the best to capture the attention of those who watch a movie or TV series and that is why in different segments or in the whole story itself, there will be situations and characters that will capture our attention giving emotion and even sense to a story; this is possibly what we see in a large percentage of films and as an example I take the film of which I review in this publication.
Desde hace algunas semanas quería ver el nuevo film de Apple TV+ el cual fue estrenado en el mes de marzo y que relata el origen de uno de los videojuegos más importantes en todo el mundo, "Tetris"; creo que cada vez más observamos como el mundo de los videojuegos ganan más notoriedad al momento de no enfocarse en llevar una historia desde la consola de juegos hacia la pantalla grande, sino enfocarse en la historia de las personas que hicieron lo posible e imposible para crear un mundo de entretenimiento; justamente en "Tetris" observamos primeramente la historia de "Henk Rogers" que desde el descubrimiento de un juego en una conferencia de electrodomésticos en Las Vegas, decide cambiar el rumbo de su vida y su pequeña compañía para dar todo para obtener todos los derechos de uso del juego llamado Tetris; es por eso que este hombre con una gran idea, sueño y compromiso, deberá hacer lo imposible para luchar no solo con un gobierno a punto de desaparecer, sino con hombres sumamente poderosos; está es una lucha en dónde primeramente se tendrá que ser inteligente y paciente para encajar muchas piezas y así eliminar obstáculos los cuales podrá brindar mayor puntuación y así ser el ganador de un gran juego.
Since a few weeks ago I wanted to see the new Apple TV+ film which was released in March and that tells the origin of one of the most important video games in the world, "Tetris "; I think we are seeing more and more how the world of video games gain more notoriety when not focusing on bringing a story from the game console to the big screen, but focus on the story of the people who did the possible and impossible to create a world of entertainment; precisely in "Tetris" we first observe the story of "Henk Rogers" that since the discovery of a game at a home appliances conference in Las Vegas, decides to change the course of his life and his small company to give everything to get all the rights to use the game called Tetris; That is why this man with a great idea, dream and commitment, must do the impossible to fight not only with a government about to disappear, but with extremely powerful men; this is a fight where first you have to be smart and patient to fit many pieces and thus remove obstacles which can provide higher score and thus be the winner of a great game.
Este film usa la narración para dar introducción a su protagonista principal el cual proveerá su punto de vista de las muchas situaciones que darán origen a este gran videojuego; creo que tanto el director Jon S. Baird como el guionista Noah Pink tenían la obligación de hacer una historia adictiva a como es el juego y creo que la única manera de lograrlo era crear una simbiosis con respecto a lo real junto al pixelado mundo de los videojuegos de los 80'; quiero hacer una acotación de que este film no usa de manera constante la animación, pero si es un complemento que lo encontró adecuado para el tipo de historia que es.
La necesidad de ser entretenida esta producción va por la manera de demostrar como ocurrió que un hombre convenciera no solamente a su esposa, sino al banco, a una gran compañía japonesa de videojuegos y un imponente gobierno (cerca de desaparecer) para concretar uno de los negocios más fructíferos en el mundo del entendimiento, una tarea para nada fácil, pero desde la convicción de un hombre pudo ser posible luchar contra el capitalismo y comunismo para alcanzar un gran sueño; con esto digo que el uso de la realidad y fantasía funciona para hacer una película de casi dos horas de duración ser lo sumamente entretenida, divertida y convincente.
This film uses narration to give introduction to its main protagonist who will provide his point of view of the many situations that will give birth to this great video game; I think both the director Jon S. Baird and screenwriter Noah Pink had the obligation to make an addictive story as the game is and I think the only way to achieve it was to create a symbiosis with respect to the real along with the pixelated world of video games of the 80's; I want to make a note that this film does not use animation constantly, but it is a complement that found it suitable for the type of story that is.
The need to be entertaining this production goes by way of demonstrating how it happened that a man convinced not only his wife, but the bank, a large Japanese video game company and an imposing government (about to disappear) to realize one of the most fruitful businesses in the world of understanding, a task not at all easy, but from the conviction of a man could be possible to fight against capitalism and communism to achieve a great dream; with this I say that the use of reality and fantasy works to make a film of almost two hours long to be as entertaining, funny and convincing as possible.
Me sorprendió la obligación que tiene está producción de ser interesante a su personaje principal para captar la atención del espectador; es una manera factible de vender un producto y en mi opinión, eso funciona porque el "Henk Rogers" Interpretado por Taron Egerton tiene el poder de vender o convencer a quien sea con su actitud, confianza y posiblemente positivismo; esta persona sabe cómo conectar con quién sea y mostrar un mejor mundo desde su punto de vista, un mundo mejor lleno de muchas posibilidades y creo que eso lo hace más interesante porque a quien no le gustaría conocer a alguien así aunque también hay que decir que ser tan buena persona no es algo aconsejable por los muchos peligros que debe enfrentar; eso es lo que demuestra Egerton desde su actuación y que tomo como referente a lo que es "Rogers" a quien según he leído es tal como se ve en el film, alguien justo y muy buena persona.
I was surprised by the obligation this production has to be interesting to its main character to capture the viewer's attention; it's a feasible way to sell a product and in my opinion, that works because "Henk Rogers" played by Taron Egerton has the power to sell or convince anyone with his attitude, confidence and possibly positivity; this person knows how to connect with whoever and show a better world from his point of view, a better world full of many possibilities and I think that makes him more interesting because who wouldn't like to meet someone like that although it must also be said that being such a good person is not something advisable because of the many dangers he must face; that is what Egerton shows from his performance and that I take as a reference to what is "Rogers" who according to what I have read is just as he is seen in the film, someone fair and very good person.
En anterioridad pude leer breves, pero buenas opiniones sobre este film y por eso quería verla y me parece genial ver una producción que está a la altura de mis expectativas; Tetris es un buen film, muy divertido, con realidad y seguramente mucha ficción, pero que funciona muy bien en la manera de relatar esta historia del origen de un gran juego y es que así como dije anteriormente, se tomó muy en serio lo referente de hacer encajar muy bien las piezas para obtener la máxima puntuación y ser el ganador; me gusta el asunto de jugar limpio en un terreno muy peligroso y que al hacer lo correcto se obtenga una gran recompensa; eso posiblemente haga que esta historia sea muy positiva, motivadora y que junto a lo entretenida haga que tenga muy buena aceptación en muchas personas que no conocen toda la historia que está detrás de un gran juego. Esta es la segunda (posiblemente semi) biografía que veo de Apple TV+, la anterior fue "The Greatest Beer Run Ever" la cual encontré muy parecida a este film por la manera de como se relata la historia en dónde se usa el real y se suma la fantasía para hacer una producción muy interesante y que en mi opinión funciona muy bien y es por eso que recomiendo "Tetris" (la de la cerveza también), ya que es de lo mejor que hay para ver en el hogar.
In advance I could read brief, but good opinions about this film and that's why I wanted to see it and it seems great to see a production that lives up to my expectations; Tetris is a good film, very funny, with reality and surely a lot of fiction, but it works very well in the way of telling this story of the origin of a great game and as I said before, it took very seriously the reference to make the pieces fit very well to get the highest score and be the winner; I like the issue of playing fair in a very dangerous field and that by doing the right thing you get a great reward; that possibly makes this story very positive, motivating and that together with the entertaining makes it have a very good acceptance in many people who do not know the whole story behind a great game. This is the second (possibly semi) biopic I've seen from Apple TV+, the previous one was "The Greatest Beer Run Ever" which I found very similar to this film because of the way the story is told where the real is used and fantasy is added to make a very interesting production that in my opinion works very well and that is why I recommend "Tetris" (the beer one too), as it is one of the best there is to watch at home.
