A moving story, but also funny, with nuances that take us into a glimpse of what it takes to be a high-profile professional athlete and the sacrifices they must make to reach, be and play in the big leagues such as the NBA.

Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, hace pocos días vi “Hustle”, esta película dirigida por Jeremiah Zagar, nos muestra junto a sus protagonistas, Adam Sandler, Juancho Hernangómez, Queen Latifah, la historia de un joven deportista y su lucha para alcanzar el éxito en uno de los deportes más competitivo del mundo, el basquetbol en la NBA. Una historia conmovedora, pero también divertida, con matices que nos van adentrando a dar un vistazo de lo que conlleva ser un deportista de alto perfil profesional y los sacrificios que deben hacer para lograr alcanzar, estar y jugar en las grandes ligas como lo es la NBA.
I loved the movie and especially seeing Adam Sandler (Stanley Sugarman), play a serious role, but at the same time charming, since I hadn't seen him for a long time, it was a pleasant surprise. Adam Sandler, in my opinion, in recent years he did not make good movies, he was pigeonholed in his usual roles that long ago stopped being funny. Seeing him again showing his talent, I go back to his best films and I loved that. His performance was in this extraordinary film and he looked just like the old days. This role as a scout for an NBA team, who must be constantly traveling to recruit young talent for his team, showed us the reality of this job, which we all think is fun, because you travel to many places, but it does not show how difficult which is to find the ideal player who contains not only talent to play, but also values, discipline and character to face a career with so much pressure.
La película me encanto y sobre todo ver a Adam Sandler (Stanley Sugarman), hacer un papel serio, pero al mismo tiempo encantador, como hacía mucho tiempo no lo veía, fue una agradable sorpresa. Adam Sandler, en mi opinión en los últimos años no hacía buen cine, estaba encasillado en sus papeles de siempre que hacía mucho tiempo dejaron de ser graciosos. Verlo de nuevo mostrando su talento, me remonto a sus mejores películas y eso me encanto. Su actuación fue en esta cinta extraordinaria y se lució como en los viejos tiempos. Este papel de cazatalentos de un equipo de la NBA, que debe estar constantemente viajando para reclutar talento joven para su equipo, nos mostró la realidad de este trabajo, que todos pensamos que es divertido, porque viajas a muchos lugares, pero no muestra lo difícil que es encontrar al jugador ideal que contenga no solo talento para jugar, sino también valores, disciplina y carácter para afrontar una carrera con tanta presión.

Here begins the story of a boy and his mentor who must go through a series of situations that will test their desire to achieve that dream and they will have to give everything to achieve their goals.
Stanley, como cazatalentos, debe viajar por el mundo para encontrar ese diamante en bruto que sea la próxima estrella del equipo, en su recorrido por España, consigue en la calle aun joven que con sus jugadas y movimientos en la cancha lo dejo sorprendido, Bob Cruz (Juancho), es un obrero de la construcción que se ve sorprendido cuando Stanley le propone llevarlo para una prueba que, de pasarla lo convertiría en jugador de la NBA con un sueldo millonario que le cambiaría la vida por completo a él y su familia. Acá comienza la historia de un chico y su mentor que deberán pasar por una serie de situaciones que pondrán a prueba sus ganas por alcanzar ese sueño y tendrán que darlo todo para lograr sus objetivos.

Las situaciones que vemos en la película, son inspiradoras porque nos reflejan que a pesar de las circunstancias adversas que se nos puedan presentar, cuando trabajamos por las cosas que creemos, luchamos por alcanzarlas, en algún momento se presentara la oportunidad para lograr el objetivo. No perder el rumbo, tener fe, pensar en nosotros y ser humildes es lo importante. Eso es algo que esta cinta nos recuerda, tanto para el joven basquetbolista, como para el cazatalentos que desea convertirse en asistente a entrenador. The film also had a top cast such as: Ben Foster, Robert Duvall, Heidi Gardner, to name a few, and NBA players such as: Boban Marjanovic, Aaron Gordon, among others, making this film more real. The debut in this film of Juancho (Bob), an NBA player, was acceptable despite not having any acting experience, he had good scenes and the chemistry with Adam is very good and you can see that on screen. If you have the opportunity to see this movie, do not stop doing it, it is not only an entertaining movie but it also leaves a beautiful message and reminds us of the importance of fighting for our dreams.
Para mí esto es lo mejor de esta cinta, que nos recuerda lo importante que es no perder los sueños, las esperanzas y siempre seguir soñando por las cosas que queremos y trabajar por hacerlas realidad. La película también contó con un reparto de primera como: Ben Foster, Robert Duvall, Heidi Gardner, por nombrar algunos y jugadores de la NBA como: Boban Marjanovic, Aaron Gordon, entre otros, haciendo más real esta cinta. El debut en esta cinta de Juancho (Bob), jugador de la NBA, fue aceptable a pesar de no tener ninguna experiencia en la actuación, tuvo escenas buenas y la química con Adam es muy buena y eso se ve en la pantalla. Si tienes oportunidad de ver esta película, no dejes de hacerlo, no solo es una película que entretiene sino que deja un hermoso mensaje y nos recuerda la importancia de luchar por nuestros sueños.
