Hello friends, welcome to my blog, this weekend I saw several movies and one of them was Moonfall, a film by the German director Roland Emmerich, the same director and screenwriter of Independence Day and other well-known films of the same apocalyptic genre. I must admit that I love this genre and one of the reasons I watched it was because Independence Day is one of my favorites. So this film for me promised as an excellent film for the weekend.
Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, este fin de semana vi varias películas y una de ellas fue Moonfall, una cinta del director alemán Roland Emmerich, el mismo director y guionista de Dia de Independencia y otras conocidas del mismo género apocalíptico. Debo admitir que me encanta este genero y una de las razones por la que la vi fue porque Dia de Independencia, es una de mis favoritas. Así que está película para mi prometía como una excelente cinta para el fin de semana.
The tape deals with how the moon for unknown reasons leaves its orbit causing climatic changes that will collapse the planet, while it is dangerously heading towards the earth to collide with the planet. A scientist and theoretician of comparisons KC Houseman (John Bradley), will try to warn of what is happening, but at first nobody listens to him. Former astronaut and space agency disgraced Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson) will play the pilot who will risk a suicide mission along with NASA director and ex-astronaut Jo Fowler (Halle Berry), they will team up with KC to go to the moon and try to avoid the catastrophe.
La cinta trata de como la luna por razones desconocidas se sale de su orbita ocasionando con ellos cambios climáticos que colapsaran el planeta, mientras que se dirige peligrosamente en direccion a la tierra para chocar con el planeta. Un científico y teórico de las comparaciones KC Houseman (John Bradley), intentará advertir de lo que está pasando, pero al principio nadie lo escucha. El ex astronauta y caído en desgracia con la agencia espacial Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson), será el piloto que se arriesgará en una misión suicida junto a la directora de la NASA y ex astronauta Jo Fowler (Halle Berry), se unirán con KC para ir a la luna y tratar de evitar la catástrofe.
The film is entertaining with great special effects, the story is consistent with the moon as a satellite theory, but the characters lack depth. I would have liked more details to have been given and the life of the main characters developed more, which took them to where they are as it happened with Independence Day. Despite this, the film is entertaining and keeps you alert with the story, the action scenes and the struggle to survive a catastrophe of these magnitudes make you pay attention to the story.
La cinta es entretenida con efectos especiales magníficos, la historia es coherente con la teoría de la luna como un satélite, pero los personajes carecen de profundidad. Me hubiese gustado que se hubiera dado más detalles y desarrollados más la vida de los personajes principales, lo que los llevo a donde están como paso con Día de Independencia. A pesar de ello la película es entretenida y te mantiene alerta con la historia, las escenas de acción y la lucha por sobrevivir a una catástrofe de esas magnitudes te hacen estar atentos a la historia.
Moonfall is a film that will keep you glued to your seat for 120 minutes and will entertain you for a weekend, but it's not memorable and it's not the kind you repeat because it leaves you wanting to see it again. With solid performances and a cast like: Charlie Plummer, Donald Sutherland, Stephen Bogaert, Eme Ikwuakor, Michael Peña, Wenwen Yu, Carolina Bartczak, Maxim Roy, Hazel Nugent, Kathleen Fe, they make this movie entertaining and spend a few hours relaxing. . My rating 6 out of 10.
Moonfall es una cinta que durante 120 minutos te mantendrán pegado a tú asiento y te entretiene un fin de semana, pero no es memorable y no es de la que repites porque te dejo con ganas de volverla a ver. Con actuaciones solidas y un elenco como: Charlie Plummer, Donald Sutherland, Stephen Bogaert, Eme Ikwuakor, Michael Peña, Wenwen Yu, Carolina Bartczak, Maxim Roy, Hazel Nugent, Kathleen Fe, hacen que está película sea entretenida y que pases unas horas relajado. Mi calificación 6 de 10.
