With a cast of actors not so known at the time as: Freddie Highmore, Nicholas Gonzalez, Antonia Thomas, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, among others. He came to the screens to bring us a series different from what we were used to seeing in other series of the medical and hospital genre. Created by David Shore, the same creator of one of the best series in my opinion of this genre "House", brought us this new proposal, based on a Korean series of the same name that was on the air until 2013.
Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, hoy quiero hablarles de una serie que me encanta y que ya tiene 5 temporadas en tv, “The Good Doctor”, salió al aire con la cadena americana ABC en 2017. Con un reparto de actores no tan conocidos en su momento como: Freddie Highmore, Nicholas Gonzalez, Antonia Thomas, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, entre otros. Llego a las pantallas para traernos una serie diferente a lo que nos tenían acostumbrados ver en otras series del género médico y hospitalario. Creada por David Shore el mismo creador de una de las mejores series en mi opinión de este género “House”, nos trajo está nueva propuesta, basada en una serie coreana del mismo nombre que estuvo al aire hasta 2013.

Como una brisa fresca llego a la pantalla este personaje Shoun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), un joven medico con síndrome de Savant con espectro de autismo, que llega para ganarse un puesto como residente del hospital St. Bonaventura, ubicado en San José, California. Allí veremos como este personaje que le cuesta interactuar con las personas por su condición deberá aprender a lidiar con su entorno, con la discriminación y con sus colegas, para salir a delante en su residencia. Veremos y aprenderemos a través de este personaje a como al ser brutalmente honesto en lo que piensas, sin filtros, afectan las relaciones con los demás y como lidiar con eso.
A lo largo de estas cinco temporadas veremos los cambios y el crecimiento de Shoun para salir adelante y los problemas a los que se enfrentará para ser un gran doctor. Su mentor Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff), presidente del hospital, quién lo ayudo a entrar al hospital y lo que conoce desde pequeño, será el apoyo emocional y paternal a lo largo de su aprendizaje para convertirse en un gran médico. Su amiga desde el comienzo Dra. Claire Browne (Antonia Thomas), será quien lo apoye para entender el comportamiento de las personas y sus relaciones con ella. Dra. Morgan (Fiona), será el personaje que le hará ver que no puede ser tan honesto con todos porque lo lastima y que no puede ser tan ingenuo, ambas Claire y Morgan son los dos puntos de vista de una misma moneda.

Throughout these five seasons we have seen the changes in the characters and the team of doctors that accompany Shoun, such as his feelings and how he discovers love, his relationships with these girls despite his autistic condition and his overcoming as a being. human to live love despite its limitations. What I like about the series is that despite the fact that the main character is autistic, they show him with his limitations and how he overcomes them or not, which makes him believable for the viewer, his frustrations, his outbursts and fears, make it be real
A lo largo de estas cinco temporadas hemos visto los cambios en los personajes y el equipo de médicos que acompañan a Shoun, como sus sentimientos y como descubre el amor, sus relaciones con estas chicas a pesar de su condición de autista y su superación como ser humano para vivir el amor a pesar de sus limitaciones. Lo que me gusta de la serie es que a pesar de que el personaje principal es autista, lo muestran con sus limitaciones y como la supera o no, lo que lo hace creíble para el espectador, sus frustraciones, sus arranques y miedos, lo hacen ser real.
This season that was paused left us with a Shoun in a dilemma when everything in his personal life falls apart, how will he face it, will it be the end of everything? We will not know until the end of April when ABC resumes the season, but I will be waiting to see this series that for 5 years has me watching this human character who grows despite his problems. I work in a clinic and many of the situations I see in the series remind me of what we experience in my work with patients, so maybe that's why I like this genre. My rating is 8 out of 10. Despite being one of the best, sometimes it is not consistent between its episodes, but even if it is not perfect, it entertains me and many of the stories are as real as life itself.
Esta temporada que se pauso nos dejo con un Shoun en una disyuntiva cuando todo en su vida personal se desmorona, ¿Cómo lo enfrentará, será el final de todo? No lo sabremos hasta finales de abril cuando ABC reanude la temporada, pero estaré pendiente de ver esta serie que desde hace 5 años me tiene viendo a este personaje humano que se crece a pesar de sus problemas. Trabajo en una clínica y muchas de las situaciones que veo en la serie, me recuerdan lo que vivimos en mi trabajo con los pacientes, así que quizás por ello este genero me gusta. Mi calificación en de 8 de 10. A pesar de ser de las mejores a veces no es coherente entre sus episodios, pero aunque no sea perfecta, me entretiene y muchas de las historias son tan reales como en la vida misma.
