Hello friends, welcome to my blog, I will tell you about one of the greatest horror sagas that began back in 1978, when Jhon Carpenter directed and produced with Debra Hill, this film that would later become one of the highest-grossing sagas of the horror genre. slasher, Halloween. Since then we have seen 13 films, which, for 44 years, have even shown us Michael Myers, as one of the most ruthless terrifying murderers in cinema and that it is almost impossible to kill. Without a doubt, the best of the saga are those where the original protagonist of the film appeared, Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode), who over the years appeared in some of the sequels.
Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, les hablaré de una de las mayores sagas de terror que comenzó allá en 1978, cuando Jhon Carpenter dirigió y produjo junto Debra Hill, esta cinta que luego se convertiría en una de las sagas más taquilleras del género de slasher, Halloween. Desde entonces hemos visto 13 películas, que, durante 44 años, nos han mostrado aun Michael Myers, como uno de los asesinos terroríficos más despiadados del cine y que es casi imposible de matar. Si lugar a duda, la mejores de la saga son aquellas en donde apareció la protagonista original de la película, Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode), quien a lo largo de estos años apareció en algunas de las secuelas.

This movie was released recently and I had the opportunity to see it, from my point of view it was a fitting ending for the two main characters of the saga.
Pero como todo lo bueno tiene su final, este año se decidió cerrar el ciclo de las sagas, con la cinta Halloween Ends, y con quién comenzó toda la historia, Laurie Strode (Jamie), la inocente chica de 19 años que, en 1978, fue la única sobreviviente a la matanza de Myers, ahora 44 años después, es una abuela que busca reencontrase a sí misma, superando su pasado y sus miedos, junto a su nieta Allyson Nelson (Andi Matichak), luego que Mayers asesinara a su hija y yerno. Esta película se estrenó recientemente y tuve oportunidad de verla, desde mi punto fue un final acorde para los dos principales personajes de la saga.

Crecí viendo la saga desde la primera hasta esta su final. Fue la que me hizo amar el género de terror siendo adolescente y también criticarlo cuando este género con los años decayó hasta que aparecieron formas más creativas y diferentes de abordar estas cintas para atraer nuevos fans como: The Silence of the Lamp o Jeepers Creepers, solo por nombrar algunas.

This time we will see her final fight, which I loved because even though I love the character, I think that everything should end once and for all. Jamie's performance is extraordinary because it shows us the transformation over the years from that innocent girl to an elderly woman who has learned to overcome her losses and fight with her traumas to become an independent being and recover his peace.
Halloween Ends, llega para deleitarnos con el asesino brutal que solo mata por el placer de hacerlo sin mostrar emociones o prisa en la manera de matar, que es indetenible y que solo una víctima ha logrado salvarse, Laurie (Jamie), con quien en varias ocasiones se ha enfrentado y ha logrado escaparse. En esta ocasión veremos su lucha final, cosa que me encanto porque a pesar de que me encanta el personaje, pienso que todo debe terminar de una vez por todas. La actuación de Jamie es extraordinaria porque nos muestra la transformación a lo largo de los años de aquella chica inocente hasta convertirse en una mujer de la tercera edad que ha aprendido a superar sus pérdidas y luchar con sus traumas para convertirse en un ser independiente y recuperar su paz.

I liked the way Laurie grows up, when she finally accepts that she must live and leave Myers behind. The film has a great success in that aspect, perhaps the bad or criticizable thing is that it lacked some more terror and a little suspense. I particularly liked it, it wasn't as terrifying as I thought, but it was a good ending to this saga that started in 1978.
Tiene buenas escenas de terror, además de un componente nuevo al agregarle algo sobrenatural para influir a otros, que le da un toque diferente a la cinta, vemos a una Laurie y Allison, integradas a la sociedad buscando ser normales luego de la pesadilla que vivieron. Me gusto la manera que crece Laurie, cuando finalmente acepta que debe vivir y dejar atrás a Myers. La película tiene en ese aspecto un gran acierto, quizás lo malo o criticable es que le falto algo de más terror y un poco de suspenso. Particularmente me gusto, no fue tan terrorífica como pensé, pero fue un buen final para esta saga que comenzó en 1978.
