Review by @nhaji01 · 426d · of Gen V

Hello movie lovers,

I hope you’re having an amazing day and week also. It’s a new month and as a movie lover, I’m trying to explore more movies out there while also sharing them with you.

This week, I happen to be seeing a lot of movies for someone who complains of not having time. Regardless, I’d love to share this amazing series I saw over the weekend with you. You’ve probably seen it, or not. But we will find out.

THE PLOT

- - - The life of Marie Moreau, a young girl living with her family takes a quick turn when she finds out she has powers when she had her first period and that ended up leading to the death of both her parents. With her younger sister thinking she’s a monsters and no parents to cater both of them, they end up being sent to different foster homes.

Marie Moreau ends up in an orphanage with so many other kids and the only opportunity she had to turn her story around was when she gained admission into the Godolkin University which was for kids with supernatural powers.

With this opportunity, she made a vow not to mess things up so that she could be a hero in future and possibly be part of the Seven. But, she someone finds herself entanglement in a whole lot of mess upon her arrival. For a first year student, it was news to everyone how she managed to make it to the top ten list, being the 8th on the list after she was supposedly reported to have fought of the schools hero , Golden boy who turned rouge and ended up murdering a lecturer at the university and committing suicide.

Little did Marie Moreau know that she and the other members on the top 10 list on campus were all pawns in a game being played by the higher up. After this supposed heroic action of here, she found herself being pushed around campus, being called for interviews and meeting big people. But aside all this, there was more than just this going on. Her new friends, Adre, Cate, and Jordan find out there’s a whole new world under their school where tests were being carried out on their dead friend, Luke’s brother who was supposed to be dead.

In their quest to unravel all this mystery, he roommate Emma finds herself getting involved in this because she could get small, meaning she was the only one who could get in there. Would these young supes manage to bring everything to light or would they find out something that would change the whole course of these lives and friendships.

MY THOUGHTS AND REVIEW

- - -

I’d rate this show a 10/10 because it was just on point. I’ve actually had this show on my to- watch list for so long but for some reason I never got the chance to download it.

I’d say this movie met all my expectations and even surpassed them because the whole plot was great and I just couldn’t get enough of it. It’s totally one I’d recommend to everyone.
