Racing at it's finest.

This is a crossover post between sports and tv.
I'm not a fan of FI. It's one of the few sports that has never peaked my interest but i love sports based tv shows and movies.
I do like racing and rallying but have always found F! to be a bit boring and repeditive. I've lived with people who were big fans and just never saw the attraction.
That's why it took a while for me to start watching this show as i didn't know the people or the stories behind it.
This TV show has changed all of that for me.
I started watching it after a few friends had recommended it and finally when i ran out of other shows to watch I said it was time to give it a try.
It caught my attention from the first episode.
There is very little about the racing side if things but what makes it interesting is the people involved.
- The drivers
- The teams.
- The head coach.
- The media
- The staff.
You get to see so much from the different people and personalities. I watched the whole series striaght hrough and while it's main story line is about Mercedes trying to hold off Red Bull i actually prefer a lot of the smaller teams that are battling it out for the scras from the top table.
I've always been a fan of the underdog so will cheer on Red Bull against Mercedes.
I like the independant teams like Haas that are living season to season and the demands made on the coaches and management.
The whole series give an angle on F1 driving that really appeals to me at the high end of a high octane sport.
The pressure and demands are intense on the drivers and teams with the sport driven by money abouve all else.

It's gotten to the stage that after watching the final season and the tension between Verstappen and Hamilton that I actually want to watch some races for the coming season and see how it all turns out.
That's the sign of a good series.
