We see just how much the the world would be a better place, a place full of love and togetherness through the eyes of a bear.

Paddington now lives in London with his adopted family, The Browns. With his goodness and love, he is now a popular member of the community, in fact he seems to be the straw holding the community together. images(3).jpg Source

His Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday was coming up soon and he needed a special gift for her. He came across a pop-up book containing the landmarks of London in an antique shop, he believed that she would be able to see London through the book as she was not able to visit after her husband died. The book was expensive, he started working odd jobs to be able to buy the book, but his expectations were cut short when a devious actor, Phoenix Buchanan broke into the antique shop and stole the book. Paddington soon finds himself behind bars after being accused of the theft, and it seems that all hope was lost for the poor bear. paddington-2-cinema-film-adelaide-review-800x567.jpg Source

Paddington is a movie that inspires us to be better people. The way Paddington brings out the best in people, even in the worst criminals is inspiring, just look at what he did to Mr Knuckles! He shows that there is good in everyone and that paved way for him. The bear teaches us that no matter how people treat us, when we look for the good in people, we will find it. In film making, there is nothing as beautiful as a good story backed up by good visuals and outstanding casts, and Director King has just that. Hugh Grant also shines in his performance as Phoenix, entertaining us with his deviousness and his last show at the end. Paul King gives each and every cast an opportunity to shine in their various performances while still focusing on the bear, every scene was well constructed and well performed. It makes for a good family movie as Paddington warms the hearts of children and adults alike.
