Even a hero can't save man from the darkness in his heart The movie started with a little girl, Diana, the daughter of the Amazon queen, running to watch the warriors train. For such a little girl, she had so much passion for combat and she is a smart one to. The Amazonas are a group of women who lived in an island, Themyscira and fought against Aries, the god of war for their freedom and peace. Zeus, helped them in the war, he injured Aries that he forced to retreat and then he proceeded to put a veil of protection over their land to prevent Aries from finding the Amazonas should he return.

The queen Hippolyta(Connie Nielson) was reluctant to allow Diana train, because she felt that they were safe and Aries will never find them, but her sister,Antiope (Robin Wright) the strongest warrior disagrees with her, she was able to convince the queen to allow her train Diana as Aries is still alive, so they needed to be prepared just in case he finds them. The queen permitted her to train Diana but never to reveal to her, who she really is.

Diana now grown and being played by Gal Gadot, gets stronger by the day and it is revealed that she has powers. One day, when she was training she exhibited her powers in self defence, pulling down the protection veil Zeus put over the village. Feeling remorseful, she took a walk to the mountain top. While she was there, a plane crashed into the sea and she dived in to save the pilot, Steve Trevor(Chris Pine). The pilot was being pursued by a group of German soldiers and the soldiers attacked the Amazonas, killing Diana's aunty and a few other women but the women succeeded in killing the soldiers. The women captured the pilot and tortured him to reveal himself, he told them that he is a British spy sent into the German territory. There is a war between England and Germany, though the two nations have decided to make peace, he was sent to infiltrate the Germans just to be sure that they are for peace. He revealed that the found out that the Germans are not planning to make peace, instead they are building a dangerous poison under the leadership of Dr poison (Elena Anaya) and General Lundendorff (Danny Huston), that will kill billions of people and the war will never end. On discovering this, he stole the Dr's book and escaped so that he could report back to his superiors in England but was pursued by those soldiers thus crashing into the sea.

On hearing this, Diana concluded that only Aries the god of war can do this. So she decided to follow the pilot back to England and find Aries, kill him and end the war. On getting to England, Trevor's superiors were reluctant to take necessary actions after he showed them the evidence of German's plans. With the help of Sir Patrick (David Thewlis), Trevor's boss, he and Diana decided to go to the German territory and destroy the poison. Diana however killed the commandant leading the war thinking he is Aries and believing the war will stop, but it didn't. Few minutes later, Sir Patrick came and revealed himself to be the Aries, poisoning the hearts of men with hate because mankind is a mistake,he also revealed to Diana that she is a god made by Zeus and handed over to tge Amazon queen to destroy him, he tried to convince Diana to join him and destroy mankind. Diana was torn between destroying humanity or saving them. Who knows the choice she made.

POSITIVE ELEMENTS Diana is a very passionate person, on their way to the German territory, they passed through a village that was under the German attack. A woman with a baby cried out to her for help, she stopped and fought for them despite the fact that it was not their mission. She is brave, when Trevor's superiors were reluctant to do anything concerning the Germans, she stood up to them 'where I come from, generals don't hide in their offices like cowards, they fight alongside their soldiers, they die with them in the battlefield' She learnt to show love despite the situation. Trevor is also a hero in his own little way, he was determined to stop the Germans and save lives. His touching words at the last battlefield showed the extent he will go to help humanity.

SPIRITUAL CONTENT The Amazonas believed in Zeus. They believed that Zeus made mankind, and they believed in Aries, the god of war. They believed that the god of war poisoned the heart of men with hate and jealousy causing war in the world.

SEXUAL CONTENT AFTER Diana and her team saved the village under German attack, in the spirit of celebration, Trevor started teaching her how to dance and they kissed. When the Amazon women captured Trevor, we see him naked in the island.

VIOLENT CONTENT The German soldiers chased Trevor to the island, and they attacked the women, lives were lost including Antiope. When Trevor and Diana got to London, some men ambushed them to collect the Dr's book from Trevor, shots were fired but Diana fought them off. The Germans attacked some villages, killing numerous people, a woman begged Diana for help and she and her team rescued them. Ludendorff the General tried to convince the German leaders to go to war as they have found the suitable poison to make them win, they refused and he released the poison in the room killing all of them. The team got to the German territory, and in their bid to destroy the poison, violence took place especially the final battle between Diana and Aries.

CONCLUSION Patty have successfully showed the world that a woman can be strong and daring in this power packed movie, ofcourse none of this would work at all without the proper actress at “Wonder Woman’s” core, and Gadot acquits herself with distinction, expressing power not merely as a display of cool moves and physical derring-do, but quiet focus and almost nonchalant self-possession, clearly Patty understands the power of a good cast. The CGI effects was exaggerated but none of that matters cos it's just fun to watch. It is a super hero movie and it sure lived up to its name. Wonder woman is a movie that promotes love and that's exactly what the world needs.

I will give wonder woman 9.5/10.
