Cruella, The Feminist Villian

I just watched the movie "Cruella". For me, this film is very interesting. The main character in this film is really feminist. They are strong, independent, ambitious, know what they want and are hard to achieve. In this film, the main character in this film becomes one of the villains, which is very interesting. So are they with the Barones, the antagonist in this film. Both are not limited to standard beauty.

The two figures were no longer sitting and waiting to be rescued by the princes. The film directed by Craig Gillespie was made as a prequel. In this film, little Cruella has the name Estella, she lives with her mother. Estela is described as a child who is different from her friends. In fact, Estella was considered a problem child. Evidenced by Estella expelled from school. For that, Estella and her mother started a new life in London, England.

However, before starting a new life, Estella's mother stopped by one of the places. Estella's mother told me the house was her friend's. The action was witnessed by Barones Von Hellman, a famous fashion designer.

Estella also received appreciation from Barones Von Hellman. These Barones are described by Emma Thompson as legends in the fashion industry. At the beginning of the meeting, the barone was meant to be desired by Estella. During her work, Estella was able to gain the trust of the barons. However, during her time with the barones, estela learns the secret of her mother's death. The thing is, it made Estella take revenge on the barons. And that is, the origin of the name Cruella de Vil.

In the film, it is not possible for the main character to romanticize his crimes, even though the protagonist is old. A film that reflects if the crimes committed in this film are carried out because of the desire for revenge, not for the benefit of others. The presence of Jasper and Horace tells us that Cruella's cruel actions have gone too far.

Cruella's journey of revenge is not entirely smooth. The actions of Estella becoming Cruella were known to the Barones. All the clothing designs and the place where Estella and her friends lived were burned by the Barones. Cruella was saved by the Barones' confidant. Cruella is told about her past. Cruella finds out that Barones is her real mother. This caused Cruella to be in disbelief. The revenge action is still ongoing. He rescued two of his imprisoned friends and set them free.

Cruella resumed her act of revenge. Aided by a confidant of the Barones, two of his friends and one of the clothing shop owners. He ruined the fashion party the Barones had set up. All the guests present were dressed in black and white like Cruella. Long story short, Cruella spoke to the Barones. Barones are still the same as before. Push the enemy into the abyss. However, Cruella had prepared a grand plan. Cruella was still alive with the help of her clothes.
