   Based on the character Cruella de Vil from Dodie Smith 's 1956 novel 101 Dalmatians and its 1961 Disney-produced animated film adaptation.

   Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo cinematográfico ❤️ me alegra compartirles una película de la plataforma Disney+(plus), ya que éstos últimos días he estado mirando varias producciones para ver qué tal, ya que tenía curiosidad, en lo que se refiere a los "live accion" de esos grandes clásicos animados, y ésta vez le tocó el turno a CRUELLA, una producción que me recordó un poco a Maléfica, ya que en parte, en estos films en dónde el protagonista es un villano (o es lo que así nos lo hicieron ver con los clásicos animados), nos muestran "el otro lado de la historia", por así decirlo, quizás por descubrir el orígen del porque el villano es villano, y al parecer ésta no es la excepción, muchas veces incluso provocado por el mismo personaje bueno o el héroe de toda la trama.

   

   La verdad que desde que descanse un poco de Netflix para mirar Disney me siento como niña otra vez, no solo por éstas producciones nuevas basadas en los clásicos, sino por volver a ver años después precisamente a esos mismos clásicos animados con una mejor resolución y pantalla grande.

   Y justo como ahora estoy haciendo un recorrido por la plataforma, quise ver qué tal era esta producción de CRUELLA protagonizada por Emma Stone quien le da vida a esta villana quien al parecer (como en las demás producciones de villanos protagónicos), su maldad tiene una razón, se origina a raíz de un acontecimiento muy traumático. Todo empieza como CRUELLA de niña, o "Estella" su verdadero nombre, quien vive junto a su madre en una época muy conservadora. La cuestión es que Estella es diferente, no solo por su personalidad fría y distante sino por su notoria combinación de color de cabello, su característico blanco y negro, y eso en la sociedad no es muy normal y atrae la atención para burlas y acoso. Un día, ella junto a su madre acuden a hermoso palacio tipo castillo muy imponente propiedad de la familia real, la Baronesa interpretada por Emma Thompson. Lo que Estella no sabía era que en ese lugar encontraría su bendición y maldición, una vez veas el film lo entenderás.

   Cómo mis reseñas no se basan en dar spoiler, le dejaré la introducción hasta ahí, y darles ese vistazo para que termines de descubrir todo lo que le pasa a Estella y lo que la lleva a convertirse en la temible CRUELLA De Vil.

   

   Mi puntuación para esta película sería un 8 de 10, con toques entretenidos, sufres, te alegras y vives cada nuevo acontecimiento...con un inesperado final. Aquí les comparto el tráiler para que la disfruten y se animen a verla si es que aún no lo han hecho.. y ya luego me cuentan que tal les pareció 😸.

   Hello my dear readers of Hive and lovers of the cinematographic world ❤️ I am happy to share with you a movie from the Disney+(plus) platform, since these last days I have been watching several productions to see how they are, since I was curious about the "live action" of those great animated classics, and this time it was the turn of CRUELLA, a production that reminded me a little bit of Maleficent, because in part, in these films where the protagonist is a villain (or so they made us see it with the animated classics), they show us "the other side of the story", so to speak, perhaps to discover the origin of why the villain is a villain, and apparently this is no exception, often even provoked by the same good character or the hero of the whole plot.

   

   The truth is that since I took a little break from Netflix to watch Disney I feel like a kid again, not only for these new productions based on the classics, but also for seeing again years later precisely those same animated classics with a better resolution and big screen.

   And just as I'm now doing a tour of the platform, I wanted to see how was this production of CRUELLA starring Emma Stone who gives life to this villain who apparently (as in other productions of villain protagonists), her evil has a reason, it originates from a very traumatic event. It all starts as CRUELLA as a child, or "Estella" her real name, who lives with her mother in a very conservative era. The thing is that Estella is different, not only because of her cold and distant personality but also because of her notorious hair color combination, her characteristic black and white, and that in society is not very normal and attracts attention for teasing and harassment. One day, she and her mother go to a beautiful castle-like palace owned by the royal family, the Baroness played by Emma Thompson. What Estella didn't know was that in that place she would find her blessing and curse, once you see the film you will understand.

   Since my reviews are not based on giving spoilers, I'll leave the introduction up to that, and give you that glimpse so you can finish discovering everything that happens to Estella and what leads her to become the dreaded CRUELLA De Vil.

   

   My score for this movie would be an 8 out of 10, with entertaining touches, you suffer, you rejoice and live each new event...with an unexpected ending.    ¡Hola a todos los amantes del cine! No había tenido la oportunidad de ver ésta película hasta hace poco, en uno de mis encuentros con mi hermana. No suelo ser muy taquillera ni mirar lo que está de moda, así que cuando se estrenó, sólo supe que había tenido buenas críticas, así que me animé a verla para yo misma apreciarla, ya que no me dejo llevar por los comentarios realizados hacía un filme, hasta no verlo y obtener mi propio criterio.

   La película nos cuenta la historia de los orígenes de Cruella De Vil, la villana recordada de 101 Dalmatas, todo ambientado desde su punto de vista, muy al estilo de pov o narración en primera persona. Nos cuentan cómo desde muy pequeña, Estella (Nombre dado a la protagonista) es acogida por una mujer amorosa y paciente, quién le insiste en que debe cubrir su cabello singularmente bicolor y que hace lo posible por criarla... lo cual no es tarea fácil, dado que la pequeña niña, tiene un carácter difícil y es algo incontrolable, a esa parte suya que sale de vez en cuando, la llaman "Cruella", como si fuese otra personalidad que necesita estar encerrada en su interior en todo momento, para evitar que salga a hacer "maldades". Pero, en contra parte a su actitud rebelde, posee una habilidad innata para la creación, lo cual la lleva a enfrascarse en el diseño de modas a su muy corta edad. Su gran sueño, es convertirse en alguien importante en ese gremio y elaborar los mejores vestidos. Su cuidadora hace todo apoyarla, hasta que luego de un evento desafortunado, la niña queda huérfana y acaba vagando en las calles, sin un lugar al cual pertenecer y completamente sola.

   Pero como dice el dicho "Dios los crea y ellos se juntan". La pequeña desafortunada tiene un encuentro con unos niños, Horacio y Gaspar, quienes están en su misma condición y que viven de hurtos. Al principio se sienten apenados por la situación de la niña, más luego ven en ella una posibilidad para poder obtener mejores ganancias en sus fechorías. Es así como Estella crece en un ambiente criminal, aprendiendo las artes del robo y la estafa, junto a sus compañeros en el crimen. Parece que nada ni nadie los puede detener, son el equipo perfecto y ante cualquier posibilidad de robo, ellos no dudan en armar un plan bastante estratégico para aprovecharla, con Estella elaborando impecablemente los disfraces que utilizan para sus estafas.

   Es una película bastante interesante y atrayente. Sé coser, me considero una costurera amateur y me encantan los filmes y series que tienen que ver con ésta temática. Ver los diferentes diseños de trajes y outfits, es un verdadero deleite para mí. Pues es como si estuvieras viendo un desfile de moda con una trama de por medio. Creo que eso fue lo que más me gustó de la película, dado que no soy muy fanática de los dramas criminales, aunque debo admitir que la historia fue muy diferente de lo que esperaba, sobre todo por sus giros argumentales. Pues una vez que Estella deja salir a esa parte de su ser que siempre fue en su totalidad ella misma, se empiezan a descubrir secretos que ella nunca esperó conocer. La vida puede ser realmente cruel, pero lo importante es cómo afrontamos los retos que se nos presentan.

   
   

   It's quite an interesting and engaging movie. I know how to sew, I consider myself an amateur seamstress and I love the films and series that have to do with this theme. Seeing the different designs of suits and outfits is a real delight for me. Well, it is as if you were watching a fashion show with a plot in between. I think that was what I liked the most about the movie, since I am not a big fan of crime dramas, although I must admit that the story was very different from what I expected, especially because of its plot twists. For once Estella lets out that part of her that was always wholly herself, secrets begin to be discovered that she never expected to know. Life can be really cruel, but the important thing is how we face the challenges that come our way.

I don't know if it happens to any of you, but when I hear the name Cruella de Vil, immediately my mind flies to my childhood and the horrible feeling of helplessness when the little dogs escape during the cold winter, cold and hungry. OMG, and the madwoman all she did was out of a desire to have a coat with puppies fur.

   Psychologists and psychiatrists may not be able to explain this aversion I feel for this Dodie Smith character that inspired Disney. I don't love her, she's bad and that's that. She can cry but I don't believe her.

   Now they come to tell me that she had a reason to be what she is. Well, I don't accept that. What about my tears as a child and my nightmares? I had a little dog named Tin, he was a stray and I adopted him. We lived in terror, and my younger siblings hid him so he wouldn't be stolen. No and no, I don't accept it.

   This film shows the irrationality of human beings, revenge, money and power. Imagine, in the 70's these street shows were the laughing stock of London society. This fashion and music movement led by Cruella would have everyone embarrassed.

   In the period where Disney places the character, many movements were occurring in English society, in this environment is reflected in the fashion revolution of Cruella de Vil, somewhat extravagant trend that is imposed on the traditional prevailing of the Baroness.    She always considered herself better than the rest of the children. His mother instilled moral and ethical values in him, but his cruelty and wickedness prevailed. After what happens, which I am not going to tell you, she feels liberated from the weight of her other self.

   Hello friends of the #Movies & Shows Community, I brought you my review of the movie Cruella de Vil, it is a character from my childhood that impacted me a lot for her evilness, screams and madness.

   Who is the Coco? is Cruella de Vil we all answered. I recommend the movie, it is very good. Despite my mixed feelings, since after so many years and at my age, almost 61 years old, Disney comes to tell me that Cruella had a reason to be like this is very difficult to accept.

   Humana no es, no sé qué será…

   El cerebro y la mente son un pozo sin fin; se han realizado muchos estudios e investigaciones para saber lo que sucede en realidad. En fin, cada cabeza es un mundo como dicen por ahí. No sé si alguno de ustedes les pasa, pero cuando yo oigo el nombre de Cruella de Vil, enseguida mi mente vuela a mi infancia y la horrible sensación de impotencia cuando los perritos escapan durante el frío invierno, con frío y hambre. OMG, y la loca todo lo que hizo fue por un deseo de tener un abrigo con piel de perritos.

   Psicólogos y psiquiatras quizás no puedan explicar esta aversión que siento por este personaje de Dodie Smith que sirvió de inspiración a Disney. No la quiero, es mala y punto y final. Puede llorar pero no le creo.

   Ahora vienen a decirme que tuvo un motivo para ser lo que ella es. Pues no lo acepto ¿Y mis lágrimas de niña y mis pesadillas? Yo tenía un perrito llamado Tin, era callejero y lo adopté. Vivíamos aterrados, y mis hermanitos menores lo escondían para que no se lo robaran. No y no, no lo acepto.

   En este filme se plasma la irracionalidad del ser humano, venganza, dinero y poder. Imagínense, en los años 70 estos show en la calle eran el hazmerreír de la sociedad londinense. Este movimiento de la moda y música liderado por Cruella tendría a todos abochornados

   En el periodo donde sitúa Disney al personaje, estaban ocurriendo muchos movimientos en la sociedad inglesa, en este ambiente se plasma la revolución de la moda de Cruella de Vil, tendencia algo extravagante que se impone a lo tradicional imperante de la Baronesa. Polos opuestos que intentan hacer sucumbir al otro.

   El personaje principal Cruela o Estella es un espécimen raro y único, motivo de estudio. Sin embargo, le hice un perfil con mis amplios estudios al lado del equipo de Mentes Criminales y mi tutor el Dr Reid, considerando que sus ojos desorbitados no dan lugar a dudas, es loca de remate.

   Desde mi punto de vista, Estella nació con un trastorno y mala, muy a pesar de que su madre que la crió lo intuía y trataba de apaciguarla cuando le daban los arrebatos de violencia. Para mí, Disney es lo mejor de lo mejor en cine, pero se equivocó dándole el papel de víctima a Cruella para justificar sus atrocidades. Pues no me parece, ella mata a su otro yo porque no soporta su lado bueno y sumiso, ya que su esencia es la maldad. Hay muchos seres humanos así, que disfrutan haciendo daño a las demás personas.

   Se consideraba siempre mejor que el resto de los niños. Su madre le inculco valores morales y éticos pero prevaleció su crueldad y maldad. Después qué sucede lo que sucede, que no se los voy a contar, ella se siente liberada del peso de su otro yo.

   La novela infantil 101 dálmatas fue escrita por Dodie Smith y publicada en el año 1956, este fue el nacimiento de Cruella de Vil, la villana más mala del mundo.

   En el año 1961 estrena Disney la película; sin embargo, vi la película unos años después. Han pasado muchos años, y me fascino este filme, la he visto muchas veces. Sin embargo, la primera impresión, siendo tan pequeña no lograba entender como una persona podía ser tan mala hasta desear matar perritos por un abrigo.

   En el año 2021 Disney nos trae a la villana más mala del mundo del cine, Cruella de Vil. Este filme dura aproximadamente dos horas y catorce minutos. Es una comedia y fue dirigida por el australiano Craig Gillespie. Ganó una estatuilla en el año 2021 al Mejor vestuario. Wuao, merecido premio.

   En cuanto a la actriz Emma Stone en su interpretación de Estella, estuvo espectacular porque tiene unos ojos de loca y psicópata, ideales para este papel. Aplausos como Cruella de Vil.

   Hola amigos de la Comunidad de #Movies&Shows, les traje mi reseña de la película Cruella de Vil, es un personaje de mi infancia que me impacto mucho por su maldad, gritos y locura.

   ¿Quién es el Coco? es Cruela de Vil respondíamos todos.

   Les recomiendo la película es muy buena. A pesar de mis sentimientos encontrados, ya que después de tantos y a mi edad casi 61 años, venir Disney a decirme que Cruella tuvo un motivo para ser así es muy difícil aceptarlo.

   Los invito a ver este filme y a dar su opinión sobre este enigmático y loco personaje. Quizás ustedes puedan responder a las preguntas a las cuales yo he podido darle respuestas:

   ¿Cruella era bipolar, loca, o tenía múltiples personalidades?

   ¿Cómo pudo Anita aliarse con Cruella?

   Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, Disney has made different acted adaptations of its various animated classics to give them a different twist; and one of those films is the one that brings us together today in this post and is nothing more or less than "Cruella" that seeks to bring an extremely interesting background to the villain of the animated classic. Get ready to design some fashion outfits since we are about to start.

   Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, Disney ha realizado diferentes adaptaciones actuadas de sus diversos clásicos animados para darles un giro distinto; y una de esas cintas es la que nos reúne hoy en este post y es ni más ni menos que “Cruella” que busca traer un trasfondo sumamente interesante a la villana del clásico animado.    Cruella was released in 2021, was directed by Craig Gillespie and produced by Walt Disney Pictures, has a duration of 2 hours and 14 minutes. It is a drama and comedy film, the story revolves around a girl named Estella Miller who is a prodigy for fashion but has a huge drawback and that is that it is usually very cruel reason why her mother nicknames her "Cruella", her attitude and disobedience cause her problems to such an extent that she is expelled from her school. Her life takes a 180° turn when she and her mother intended to move to London, they make a stop at a gala party because her mother had to talk to the hostess, during that stop Cruella's mother mysteriously loses her life leaving the girl orphaned. Having spent the years he remembers his passion for design and decides to become renowned in the world of fashion which will be a complicated task and that will require a lot of effort and creativity.

   Cruella fue estrenada en 2021, fue dirigida por Craig Gillespie y producida por Walt Disney Pictures, cuenta con una duración de 2 horas y 14 minutos. Es una cinta de drama y comedia, la historia gira en torno a una niña llamada Estella Miller quien es una prodigio para la moda pero tiene un enorme inconveniente y es que suele ser muy cruel razón por la que su mamá la apoda “Cruella”, su actitud y desobediencia le causan problemas a tal punto de que es expulsada de su escuela. Su vida da un giro de 180° grados cuando ella y su madre pretendían mudarse a Londres, hacen una parada en una fiesta de gala debido a que su madre debía hablar con la anfitriona, durante esa parada la madre de Cruella pierde la vida misteriosamente dejando huérfana a la niña. Habiendo pasado los años recuerda su pasión por el diseño y decide hacerse de renombre en el mundo de la moda lo que será una tarea complicada y que requirira de mucho esfuerzo y creatividad.

   The characters are very charismatic since they feel extremely committed to their convictions and united by a common goal despite doubts about how important it is. The main characters are Estella Miller who is orphaned and begins to survive through robberies but knows that she can live in a more dignified and better way, Horace Badun and Jasper Badun 2 thieves who meet Estella and help her in all her crazy plans, last but not least is Baroness von Hellman who is the most representative image of fashion and the maximum exponent of it. which Estella must knock down if she wants to succeed.

   Los personajes son muy carismáticos puesto que se sienten sumamente comprometidos con sus convicciones y unidos por un objetivo en común pese a que existan dudas sobre qué tan importante es el mismo. Los personajes principales son Estella Miller quien se queda huérfana y comienza sobrevivir mediante los robos pero sabe que puede vivir de una forma más digna y mejor, Horace Badun y Jasper Badun 2 ladrones quienes conocen a Estella y la ayudan en todos sus descabellados planes, por último pero no menos importante está la Baronesa von Hellman quien es la imagen más representativa de la moda y el máximo exponente que de la misma a la que Estella debe derribar si quiere triunfar.

   La banda sonara es sumamente maravillosa puesto que refleja perfectamente el mensaje rebelde y elegante de la cinta para llevarla al siguiente nivel de excelencia.

   

   The construction of the world is curious since it manages to perfectly represent that divided environment in which there is a struggle between the conventional and the novel, in turn manifests the difficulties they have to excel in a highly competitive world and how those who lead the pyramid try to overthrow possible threats using all the resources at their disposal, in addition, an adequate use of the technology of the time is made so that everyone feels plausible.

   La construcción de mundo es curiosa puesto que logra representar perfectamente ese ambiente divido en el que se encuentra una lucha entre lo convencional y lo novedoso, a su vez manifiesta las dificultades que se tienen para sobresalir en un mundo altamente competitivo y el cómo los que encabezan la pirámide tratan de derrocar a las posibles amenazas empleando todos los recursos a su disposición, además, se hace un uso adecuado de la tecnología de la época para que todo el mundo se sienta plausible.

   The plot is extremely captivating since it raises the desire for revenge at any cost, where intelligence and cunning will face connections and resources. It manages without fail to surprise the viewer with the different unexpected actions of the protagonist, in addition, it handles in an excellent way a good dose of simple and decent comedy to relax a little moments of tension; however, it sins from the fact of making use of clichés to give "unexpected turns" that are too predictable and generic.

   La trama es sumamente atrapante puesto que plantea el deseo de venganza a cualquier costo, en donde la inteligencia y la astucia se enfrentaran a las conexiones y los recursos. Logra sin falta sorprender al espectador con las diferentes acciones inesperadas de la protagonista, además, maneja de forma excelente una buena dosis de comedia sencilla y decente para relajarse un poco los momentos de tensión; sin embargo peca del hecho de hacer uso de clichés para dar “giros inesperados” que son demasiado predecibles y genéricos.

   

   The characters present an inconsistent development since some have a good development and others are a stone; The protagonist and the antagonist are an excellent proof of this, the first is completely three-dimensional since you can observe different facets of it and see it both at its best and at its worst, its victories and defeats, being that it even comes to reflect on itself and its way of doing things and treating its close ones; the antagonist is quite the opposite since she is an unfortunate only because yes, there is no kind of data of this apart from her influence and relationship with the world of fashion which relegates her to being boring like hell. Finally within the relevant characters are Horace and Jasper who despite being a few seconds manage to have a certain characterization and value as a human being to abandon the protagonist when she treats them as garbage, they are far from having a development but have a characterization that makes them quite pleasant.

   Los personajes presentan un desarrollo inconsistente puesto que algunos poseen un buen desarrollo y otros son una piedra; La protagonista y la antagonista son una prueba excelente de ello, la primera es completamente tridimensional puesto que se pueden observar diferentes facetas de esta y vérsele tanto en su mejor como en su peor momento, sus victorias y derrotas, siendo que incluso llega a reflexionar sobre sí misma y su forma de hacer las cosas y de tratar a sus seres cercanos; la antagonista es todo lo contrario puesto que es una desgraciada solo porque si, no se da alguna clase de dato de esta aparte de su influencia y relación con el mundo de la moda lo que la relega a ser aburrida como el carajo. Por último dentro de los personajes relevantes se tienen a Horace y a Jasper que pese a ser unos segundones logran tener cierta caracterización y valor propio como ser humano como para abandonar a la protagonista cuando esta los trata como basura, están lejos de tener un desarrollo pero tienen una caracterización que los hace bastante agradables.

   Cruella is a film that seeks to give an interesting background to a classic Disney villain, although it incurs in some worn concepts manages to maintain attention from the beginning to show an interesting development of its protagonist. It deserves a rating of 4 stars out of 7, it has flaws but that does not mean that it is an extremely recommended and entertaining film that fulfills its objective which is to delve into the origins and history of an iconic character.

   Cruella es una cinta que busca darle un trasfondo interesante a un villano clásico de Disney, pese a que incurre en algunos conceptos gastados logra mantener la atención desde el principio para mostrar un desarrollo interesante de su protagonista. Merece una calificación de 4 estrellas de 7, tiene fallos pero eso no quita que sea una cinta sumamente recomendable y entretenida que cumple su objetivo que es el de profundizar en los orígenes y en la historia de un personaje icónico.

   Stella siempre ha sido una niña diferente a los demás, una chica valiente y fuera de lo común como su cabello, una niña con mucho estilo y gran sentido de la moda, Stella vivía metida en grandes problemas porque su personalidad era muy explosiva pero gracias a eso ha sido expulsada de su colegio, por lo tanto su mamá busca ayuda de una antigua amiga para poder mudarse a otro lugar y darle una mejor vida a Stella, pero esa visita termina con la vida de la mamá de Stella, haciendo que ella se culpe por lo ocurrido en esa fatídica noche.

   Los personajes son increíbles, Horacio, Jasper, Artie y Anita son 1000/10, sus personajes son buenísimos, lo gracioso es que no fue hasta la mitad de la película que nos dimos cuenta y nos acordamos que esos nombres eran los mismos de los de la versión animada de 101 dálmatas.

   ¿Tengo quejas? La verdad creo que no, porque disfrute la película de inicio a fin, me gustó el desarrollo de la historia, me gustó escuchar canciones como Boots are made for walking en el soundtrack, me encantó el diseño de los vestuarios y los perritos me fascinaron, si amigos los perritos fueron la cereza del pastel.

   Do I have complaints? I really think not, because I enjoyed the movie from start to finish, I liked the development of the story, I liked listening to songs like Boots are made for walking on the soundtrack, I loved the design of the costumes and the puppies fascinated me, yes friends the puppies were the cherry on the cake.

   Hola a toda la Comunidad Hive, después de unos cuantos días de sobrevivir sin Internet, me alegra poder compartir con ustedes uno de mis post sobre películas, como ya sabrán algunos (en caso de que no sean de Venezuela), el lugar en donde vivo hay muchos problemas con este asunto del “internet”, debido a que servicio de CANTV en Venezuela además de ser pésimo, a veces es complicado tener una conexión a Internet que sea estable o al menos a mí se me ha complicado un poco, debido al robo de cables, pero bueno sin desviarme tanto del tema hoy les daré mi opinión de la película Cruella 2021 que estoy segura de que ya muchos la habrán visto, ya que es una de las más recientes Producida por DISNEY y dirigida por Craig Gillespie, protagonizada por Emma Stone y Emma Thompson.

   ¿De qué trata?

   Todo comienza con el nacimiento de una niña la cual fue entregada a una señora llamada Catherine, así creció Estella Miller un poco malcriada y grosera, pero con estilo y creatividad para la moda, fue expulsada del colegio y llevada a Londres, pero antes de llegar hacen una parada en una mansión donde vivía una amiga, allí Catherine le entrega a Estella un collar y le dice que lo cuide, pero un accidente trunco la vida de Catherine cuando tres perros dálmatas la empujaron al acantilado. Estella huye y logra llegar a Londres donde conoce a dos niños Jasper y Horacio ladronzuelos de Oficio y le enseñan a Estella todos los trucos para robar, así creció con el sueño de ser una Diseñadora de Moda y trabajar en una Empresa llamada Liberty, con ayuda de Jasper y Horacio consiguen que la contraten, pero adivinen limpiando baños y oficinas, la vida de Estella cambia cuando es contratada por la Baronesa la cual queda complacida con los bocetos que Estella le presentaba y fue ganando una mejor estimación, pero un día la Baronesa cargaba el collar que su Mamá le había dado a guardar, de allí decide hacerle la guerra a la Baronesa disfrazándose de Cruella una excéntrica diseñadora de Moda que logra opacar a la Baronesa. Es una película entretenida, pero hay que prestarle atención.

   • Emma Stone Como Estella Miller o Cruella de Vil una joven con aspiraciones de ser la mejor diseñadora de Moda, con una infancia dificil, pero que con el tiempo crece y se vuelve una mujer fuerte de mucha determinación y convicción.

   • Emma Thompson Como la Baronesa Von Hellman una mujer inhumana prestigiosa Diseñadora de Moda.

   • Joel Fry Como Jasper y Paul Walter Hauser Como Horacio, Amigos y Compañeros de robo, ayudantes y hasta se podría decir que hermanos de Estella Miller ya que se conocen desde la infancia.

   • Mark Strong Como John mayordomo de la Baronesa y el cual conoce el secreto de la Baronesa y de Estella Miller.

   Entretenida película de DISNEY, Se me hizo interesante la parte donde la verdadera madre nunca la quiso primero al nacer la mando a matar con el mayordomo y después de mujer ella misma la empuja a un acantilado, escena cuyo efecto de cuando ella cae con el paracaidas me parece muy forzado y “demasiado perfecto", ya que ni un raspón se hizo, en fin pienso que el personaje luego de ser sobrevivir al ataque de su madre quedaría traumada y obviamente loca, aspectos que le dan sentido a la personalidad de Cruella, en la película ella no daña a los Dálmatas, aun sabiendo que ellos mataron a su mamá por órdenes de la Baronesa, Los trata más bien de forma normal o mejor dicho ni les hace caso, nada que ver con las películas anteriores de los Dálmatas, hecho que sin duda alguna me saca bastante de lugar, es decir no piense mal, pero el personaje de Cruella desde el inicio de las primeras películas de los Dálmatas siempre fue visto como un Enemigo malo el cual con facilidad se gana el odio del público debido a que constantemente odia a los perros y quiero hacerse un abrigo hecho con la piel de los Dálmatas, siento que el personaje de Cruella que conocía en las películas anteriores, lo distorsionaron por completo dándole un aire de soy mala, pero a la vez buena, razón por la cual no me cuadra porque siento que Disney le quito la esencia a esta iconica villana conocida, dándole aires de buena entonces hay es donde cae mi pregunta y opinión, ya que están cambiando el personaje que objetivo tiene tener el personaje de Cruella si no es mala?, ya que en las películas anteriores es mala, y ahora de repente es buena y no le hace daño a los animales, entonces que tiene en mente Disney preparado para su audiencia en caso de que saque una segunda parte, se volverá más buena? O la harán mala?, en lo personal no me juzguen, no me gusto hacia donde orientaron el personaje y la forma en como la hicieron ahora, si bien en esta película esta es una CRUELLA en realidad buena que solo buscaba venganza por la muerte de su mamá, otra cosa que no me encaja tampoco es como integraron también forzosamente a los secuaces de Cruella, que son Jasper y Horacio, ya que en la película de 101 Dálmatas de 1996, obviamente la versión humana donde está la actriz Glenn Close que hace de Cruella, en lo personal mi verdadera Cruella favorita que le da vida a este personaje como es debido trata a sus lacayos de la forma más mala y a la vez despreciable además de que Ella se ve mucho más mayor que ellos a diferencia de la Cruella del 2021 donde al parecer todos van a la misma par de edad. Y sin olvidarme de un detalle que para mí es clave de seguro muchos de ustedes lo pensaron, si bien es cierto que se hubiera visto un poco perturbador si ella (La nueva Cruella) mata a los Dalmatas en la película, ya que hubiera sido incómodo para la audiencia en caso de que la vean preadolecentes y hasta tal vez adultos, ya que mostraría una escena maltrato animal y hasta asesinato por así decirlo, pero el hecho de que Disney viva limitando su contenido hace que las expectativas del público no sean muchas, ya que obviamente como digo limitan toda su programación o contenido, pero una escena así hubiera sido clave, para darle vida a lo que es la verdadera Cruella de Vil, simplemente me pongo a imaginar que si esta película hubiera estado en otras manos que no fueran las de Disney, la historia hubiera podido ser más interesante e impactante para el espectador provocando más curiosidad sobre este personaje y su historia, otra cosa para añadir es que me pareció excelente la actuación de Emma Thompson les juro que no la conocí hasta que termino la película y vi el reparto, increíble transformación sin duda alguna una actriz multifacetica, sin embargo no me gusto la actuación de Emma Stone en algunas escenas se veía cargada de maquillaje o es que envejeció?, siento que no encajo en el papel de Cruella pudo haber sido mejor. ¿Ahora que es dueña de un castillo comenzara a ser mala realmente? ¿O será más buena que la Madre Teresa? Esperaremos la continuación de Cruella.

    Cuando era pequeño tenia en mi casa el VHS de 101 Dalmatas, una de mis películas favoritas de Disney que me encantaba ver una y otra vez, junto a su versión live action de 1996 que para mi (tal vez por el simple hecho de ser un niño que se maravillaba con las películas) era simplemente fantástica y Cruella Devil era sin duda alguna una villana que intimidaba en todo momento y que al final terminaba teniendo su merecido.

    

    Ahora a los villanos los quieren volver antihéroes, dándoles una razón de su ser y cuáles son las actitudes de sus fechorías dándonos a entender de que no son malos, sino que las circunstancias los volvieron malos, buscando de alguna forma que empezáramos encariñarnos con los personajes, pero ahi es donde se equivocan, a mi me agradan los villanos por lo que son, por sus ambiciones sin importar a quien se llevan en el camino, sé que no triunfaran porque son los villanos, pero disfruto de su ser y disfruto de como pierden, acaso ¿Soy el único que piensa así?. Deseo que el villano sea malvado congeniar con ese lado oscuro, no una razón para sentirme para sentir empatía por un ser que las circunstancias la llevaron por ese lado.

    

    La pelicula de Cruella no es mala al principio comenzaba a quejarme de la misma, pero después de unos tweets que tuve con @arlettemsalase quise replantearme mi opinión. Para ser sincero siento que estoy viendo "El diablo viste a la moda" o al menos una gran influencia de la misma que para mi llego al grado de repetitiva, con una mezcla de película de venganza y que te da un plot twist que la verdad era muy esperado, así que por ese lado no me sorprendió

    Pero donde tengo conflicto de interés por lo que mencione al principio del post, es en la reinvención del personaje, adoro a Cruella Devil de mi infancia (deseo ahora un funko de ella) y quería ver esa villanes, pero ahora me justifican que todo eso eran malentendidos, nunca mato perros para hacerse un abrigo e incluso tiene los suyos propios y nos lo hacen pasar por rumores que pasaron en las películas, pero por otro lado la reinvención del personaje no es mala, es como si Disney hubiera agarrado solo algunas ideas de su antecesora y aventar todo a la basura para crear un nuevo personaje, como si ahora existiera un multiverso de Cruella Devil donde esta no es tan malvada, solo algo desquiciada (¿Será que hay un Cruellaverso?)

    Que si lo pongo como perspectiva, creo que es justo el error que se estaban cometiendo con los live actions de las otras películas de los clásicos de Disney, que prácticamente buscaban crear una calca de sus películas que terminaba en un bodrio.

    Cruella puede que no sea de mi gusto por tener un contra punto con un personaje que me agrada, pero alejándome de ese punto, Cruella es una buena reinterpretación/recreación de un personaje aceptable, que tal vez puede ser el camino que podría tomar Disney considerando que anda haciendo live action de todo, ya que parece que ya no existen ideas originales.

    The Cruella character originated in the popular animated movie 101 Dalmatians. I remember watching this movie when I was a little kid but it never became one of my favorites, to be honest. I wasn't entirely convinced about watching this film since I first heard of it but little by little I began to change my opinion.
    
    

    First, every review I read about it was positive. In my case, before deciding to watch a movie or series, I prefer to first check what other reviewers said about it. I really hate wasting my time watching a crappy, substandard, or unenjoyable production and I try to avoid this as much as I can. With Cruella, the proportion of positive reactions from the viewers was overwhelming and eventually, I decided to change my decision and give this film a watch.
    
    

    I can't really compare this Cruella character with the one from the animated film because I don't remember much about it, but I think this movie can be enjoyed without knowing anything about the 101 Dalmatians productions. Before talking about the film, I would like to mention a few people who were the main responsible ones for making this an enjoyable movie.

    Main names associated with the film

    The director is Craig Gillespie. The only previous film I have watched by this director is The Finest Hours, but he has also directed other good movies such as Million Dollar Arm and I, Tonya. Cruella 2 is under production with him as the director again so I have high expectations about that film.
    
    

    The screenplay has 2 writers. One of them is Dana Fox who also worked as a writer in the series Home Before Dark which I began to watch a couple of weeks ago and it is quite good. That series and the Cruella movie are the 2 most important productions in her writing career, but she has also worked in other productions such as Isn't It Romantic, and How to Be Single.

    Cruella has 2 sidekicks. One of them is played by Joel Fry, who for some reason reminds me of the actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Since she was very little, Cruella, whose real name is actually Estella, was a troublemaker. She always had troubles in school, and when someone tried to bully her she always responded sometimes even with violence.
    
    

    Her troubling personality started to become a serious issue in her life as well as her mother's. They eventually decide to move to another city and midtrip the mother makes a quick visit to a very luxurious party and in this place, Estella's life will change forever.
    
    

    Soon enough after this, she meets 2 kids around her age who are always stealing things and trying to trick adults so they can get their money. She becomes friends with them and will develop the type of friendship that can last a lifetime.
    
    

    This part of the movie is only the introduction to the adult Estella, so the film doesn't spend too much time with the kid version. As an adult, Estella lives off of what she can steal with the help of her 2 friends. Since attending that luxurious party with her mother so many years ago she became fixated on fashion design, and it has become her passion.
    
    

    Eventually, she is able to begin working in a very important fashion store not as a designer but rather as a cleaner. This won't stop her from continuing to study on her own everything related to fashion design and dedicating some of her free time to make her own designs.
    
    

    She seems to be on the road to finally get the job that she has always dreamed of and her personal growth gets in turbo mode as soon as this happens. However, let's not forget this is Cruella we are talking about so there must be some bad or dark events too right?

    One of the coolest parts of the movie are some advanced and elaborated pranks Cruella will play on another character in order to claim the spotlight for her and begin to make a name of her own. These pranks were very creative, and they include one of the best entries I have ever seen of a character when attending a party.
    
    

    The movie shows Cruella as this incredibly creative character but with a lot of pain and frustration caused by previous events in her life. Her "cruelty", which isn't really true cruelty but rather a deep wish to win for once in her life while at the same time getting back at people she considers abusive, is completely justified and understandable. The film tries to make the viewers sympathize with Cruella and does a good job with this. There are even a few slightly comedic moments, especially with the help of the sidekick played by Paul Walter Hauser.
    
    

    The film will provide important twists and there are also several dramatic moments but the end result was much better than what I was expecting. This film really deserves the high praise it has received and I am looking forward to the second part, although I believe it will be extremely hard to produce a better Cruella film than this one, however, I do believe it is necessary to have at least another film because this one was just about the evolution of Estella into Cruella, the next one should be about Cruella in full mode.

    How were the performance from the cast, the settings and the camera work?

    The performance was fantastic. Emma Stone did a great job playing both personalities, Estella and Cruella and was very convincing throughout the majority of the film. There were a couple of "evil" laughs she makes while in Cruella mode that appears a bit exaggerated and fake but that's OK.
    
    

    Emma Thompson also does a good job in her role as the wealthy, powerful and arrogant fashion lady. She does a terrific performance as this annoying woman who is too powerful for her own good but has gotten used to this privileged position and is willing to do anything to protect it.
    
    

    The settings were nicely done. There are some scenes with the kid version of Estella and her 2 friends that look very nice as they are running away from some adult throughout the city and I liked how everything looked. The camera work was also nicely done too, the camera movements and angles were especially useful during some of the pranks and everything really felt like high quality and high budget production. It is one of my favorite live-action films from Disney in recent times, without taking into consideration anything related to Star Wars of course.

    Final thoughts

    Cruella is a worth watching film. Forget about the 101 Dalmatians movie and think of Cruella as a great drama film mixed with a little bit of crime and a story revolving around a very unique and creative character who has a lot of potential to be successful thanks to her skills but also has some dark personality traits due to her life experience.

Dirigida por Craig Gillespie y con Emma Stone en el papel principal, la historia está ambientada en Londres durante los años 70 durante el surgimiento del movimiento Punk, donde la joven Estella está decidida a convertirse en un ícono de la moda, teniendo que derrotar a quien lleva la batuta en ese mundo: la baronesa Von Hellman, con quien descubre que tiene asuntos pendientes desde hace tiempo.

    Soy una persona que por alguna razón u otra siempre termina viendo las películas tarde, desde que salió Cruella yo estaba muriendo por verla, tengo una cuenta en Disney+ y espere pacientemente porque estuviera disponible pero después no se qué me pasó que se me olvidó y entre una cosa y otra se me terminó pasando verla, pero en estos días dije si voy a verla, y fue cuando tuve el placer de consumir está cinta.

    Crecí viendo 101 Dálmatas así que para mí el personaje de Cruella era diferente a lo que pude ver estando frente a la pantalla.     Lo primero es aclarar que esta es una película que lleva el sello cinematográfico de Disney, por lo tanto no creo que su intención haya sido una película madura dirigida a un público adulto.

No quiero hacer spoilers pero las situaciones tan difíciles a las que como niña se ve sometida son fuertes, igualmente me gusta que se valore en su historia a estos dos vagabundos que pasan de ser desconocidos para ella a su familia... Cuando pasa el tiempo, específicamente 10 años podemos ver como ellos han formado una especie de familia que vive de robar, aunque su deseo de diseñar no ha sido abandonado porque sigue desarrollando esa creatividad.

    Punto curioso de esta primera parte fue la revelación del origen del nombre Cruella, siempre me pareció peculiar y hasta ahora llego a entender el porqué de este sobrenombre tan particular.

    En el desarrollo de la película, podemos ver como Stella en una interesante transición producto del descubrimiento de algunos hechos descubiertos por ella en su historia, y de ahí en adelante los escenarios en los que Cruella monta y donde se deja ver si simplemente oro puro... Debo mencionar en este punto que los escenarios de moda y arte son demasiado entretenidos a la vista, quedaba boca abierta con lo excéntrico que presentaron en piezas, incluso mucho más que con el Live Action de 101 Dálmatas. Hay un momento en el que siento que todo en la historia hace click y por fin algunas preguntas que me hacía al principio fueron respondidas, eso acompañado de las sorpresas de la cinta la hacen muy entretenida.

    Ahora, casi al final de la historia de más de 2 horas si pude sentir como algunas cosas se sentían repetitivas puesto que ya la habíamos visto al principio, sin embargo, si logro entretenerme hasta el final, que por cierto, tuvo un buen cierre aunque aún me deja con muchas dudas que resolver. Teniendo el triunfo de una Cruella que aún lucha con su maldad me queda la curiosidad de cómo puede convertirse en más malvada.

    In the development of the film, we can see how Stella in an interesting transition product of the discovery of some facts discovered by her in her story, and from there onwards the scenarios in which Cruella rides and where she lets herself be seen if simply pure gold... I must mention at this point that the fashion and art scenarios are too entertaining to watch, I was open-mouthed with the eccentricity they presented in pieces, even more than with the Live Action of 101 Dalmatians. There is a moment when I feel that everything in the story clicks and finally some questions that I had at the beginning were answered, that along with the surprises of the film make it very entertaining.

    Now, almost at the end of the story of more than 2 hours if I could feel how some things felt repetitive since we had already seen it at the beginning, however, if I managed to entertain me until the end, which by the way, had a good closing although it still leaves me with many doubts to resolve. Having the triumph of a Cruella who still struggles with her evilness I am left curious as to how she can become more evil.

    En definitiva, me gustó mucho esta película y aunque tiene sus vacíos o fallas, estás no son lo suficientemente fuertes como para hacerte perder el encanto por la cinta... Debo reconocer que mucho de lo enigmático de esta película se debe al trabajo de arte: música, vestuario, maquillaje y escenas musicales, un punto fuerte que se desarrolló muy bien sin duda alguna.

    Ahora sí, podemos hablar de la gloriosa actuación de Emma Stone como Cruella, es simplemente fabulosa, enigmática y diva... El giro del personaje y sobre todo el quiebre del mismo en la fuente es el comienzo de la parte actoral que más he disfrutado de la actriz. Simplemente me enamoro, pero no puedo dejar de pensar igualmente en Emma Thompson dando vida a la Baronesa, un personaje que aunque no logra a mi parecer opacar a Cruella pero si da a la película un Interesante punto de partida hacia una guerra de personalidades tan parecidas y diferentes a la vez.

I must admit that much of the enigmatic aspect of this film is due to the artwork: music, costumes, makeup and musical scenes, a strong point that was developed very well without a doubt.

    Now yes, we can talk about Emma Stone's glorious performance as Cruella, she is simply fabulous, enigmatic and diva.... The turn of the character and especially the break of the character in the fountain is the beginning of the acting part that I have enjoyed the most from the actress. I simply fell in love, but I can't stop thinking about Emma Thompson giving life to the Baroness, a character that although she doesn't manage to overshadow Cruella in my opinion, she does give the film an interesting starting point towards a war of personalities so similar and different at the same time.

    Para mi Cruella fue una buena experiencia y me encantó aunque quedó con muchas incógnitas que espero se respondan en una secuela, aquí vemos una Cruella joven y que apenas comienza un camino, ahora quiero ver si se transforma en algo más oscuro y loco, aunque también recuerdo que es Disney y que aunque esta película si tuvo un aura más cruda no podemos olvidar de donde viene esta cinta. La parte estrella de la película para mí se la llevan las dos Emma y vestuario porque hicieron de esta película una de mis favoritas, incluso quiero volver a verla una segunda vez.

    Nota: Para este post intente recrear el estilo de Cruella con mi maquillaje y peinado, la verdad es que nada puede ser exacto, porque tenemos rasgos diferentes pero me disfrute el proceso y me pareció que del daba un toque interesante al post.

    For me Cruella was a good experience and I loved it although it left many unknowns that I hope will be answered in a sequel, here we see a young Cruella and just starting a path, now I want to see if it becomes something darker and crazy, although I also remember that it is Disney and that although this film if had a cruder aura we can not forget where this tape comes from. The star of the movie for me is the two Emma's and costumes because they made this movie one of my favorites, I even want to see it a second time.

    Note: For this post I tried to recreate Cruella's style with my makeup and hairstyle, the truth is that nothing can be exact, because we have different features but I enjoyed the process and I thought it gave an interesting touch to the post.

    Ayer vi la película Cruella y quería compartir con ustedes mis impresiones. Este pintoresco personaje viene de la famosa película 101 dálmatas, donde la obsesión por hacer un abrigo con la piel de estos perros marca todos los acontecimientos de la trama. En esa nueva historia nos narran las vicisitudes desde la infancia que vive para explicar qué motiva su conducta.

    En una Londres ambientada en la década de los 70 se presenta a la protagonista, una niña de nombre Estela Miller, interpretada por Emma Stone, y se nos muestra cómo un chica rebelde, inteligente y creativa, diferente al resto. Constantemente desafiaba a su entorno ya que no se ajustaba a los convencionalismos sociales o los estereotipos. En forma graciosa se llamaba a sí misma Cruella porque le gustaba hacer travesuras. Esta conducta siempre le causó problemas hasta el punto de ser expulsada del colegio.

    Un evento desafortunado cambió su vida y arrastró por mucho tiempo la responsabilidad de aquello -la muerte de su madre-. En las calles conoce la delincuencia y justamente en ese pasaje exhibe su talento para la moda. Se puede apreciar cómo la habilidad de Estela, bajo influencias inadecuadas, se inclina por caminos tortuosos. No obstante, un día ella decide desarrollar su vena artística de forma honesta y de esa manera la historia da un vuelco. Descubrir dolorosas verdades cincelan su personalidad, saliendo a la luz una dualidad en su ser, el eterno conflicto entre el bien y el mal se manifiesta internamente en varias escenas.

    Al cambiar su nombre a Cruella Devil envía un mensaje, romper con lo viejo e imponer algo nuevo, aunque en este caso estableció al odio y a la venganza como los motivos que mueven su ser. La antagonista es La baronesa, personaje que exhibe una exacerbada crueldad en sus acciones, así que se origina una lucha de poderes con un resultado un tanto sorprendente cuando los nudos argumentativos comienzan a desatarse. La escena final tiene su carga de tensión, aunque la ironía y el humor restan dramatismo y la aproximan a una parodia. Como era de esperarse, triunfa la protagonista que simboliza al bien, aunque con sus matices.

    Uno de los aspectos que más me gustó de la película fue la selección de la banda sonora, temas musicales de Blondie, Electric Light Orchestra, Deep Purple y The Stooges le conceden un toque de buen gusto a la trama. Cada vez que Cruella exhibe sus particulares diseños en las pasarelas de moda es presentada al mejor estilo de una estrella de rock. Sin duda Emma disfruta su papel porque Cruella es un antihéroe, así que le permite deambular entre lo correcto y lo maligno. La estética de este film es muy marcada pero no desagradable, en ese aspecto es bastante llamativa sin llegar a lo escandaloso.

    Este film también lo puedo comparar con El diablo viste a la moda. Meryl Streep -Miranda Priestly- representa a esa mujer excéntrica y distinguida que hace todo por la moda, dejando a un lado cualquier tipo de sentimentalismos. Lo que importa es ser famosa. El mensaje más resaltante es que Andy, la asistente de Miranda, quién se ve tentada por ese mundo de frivolidades, reflexiona y vuelve a su verdadera esencia (una chica humilde y honesta).

    En definitiva, Cruella es otra de esas películas que persigue una moraleja a través de la evolución personal. Ella en su juventud comete actos cuestionables, pero luego advierte que las circunstancias la empujaron a actuar de determinada forma y ello no significa que seguirá haciéndolo cuando tome consciencia de su lugar en el mundo. Reflexiones como soltar el odio a tiempo para no transformarse en aquello que detesta, aunque está muy manoseada en las películas, es presentada de una forma distinta porque se inserta en el ámbito de la moda.

This colorful character comes from the famous movie 101 Dalmatians, where the obsession to make a coat with the fur of these dogs marks all the events of the plot. In this new story they tell us about the vicissitudes from childhood that he has lived to explain what motivates his behavior.

    In a London set in the 70s, the main character is presented, a girl named Estela Miller, played by Emma Stone, and we are shown how a rebellious, intelligent and creative girl, different from the rest. He constantly challenged his surroundings as he did not conform to social conventions or stereotypes. In a funny way she called herself Cruella because she liked to do mischief. This behavior always caused problems to the point of being expelled from school.

    An unfortunate event changed his life and dragged the responsibility for that - the death of his mother - for a long time. In the streets he meets crime and it is precisely in that passage that he exhibits his talent for fashion. You can see how Estela's skill, under inappropriate influences, leans down winding paths. However, one day she decides to develop her artistic streak in an honest way and in that way the story takes a turn. Discovering painful truths chisels his personality, bringing to light a duality in his being, the eternal conflict between good and evil is manifested internally in several scenes.

    By changing his name to Cruella Devil he sends a message, breaking with the old and imposing something new, although in this case he established hatred and revenge as the motives that move his being. The antagonist is The Baroness, a character who exhibits an exacerbated cruelty in her actions, so a power struggle ensues with a somewhat surprising result when the argumentative knots begin to unravel. The final scene has its load of tension, although the irony and humor subtract drama and approximate it to a parody. As expected, the protagonist who symbolizes good triumphs, although with her nuances.

    One of the aspects that I liked the most about the film was the selection of the soundtrack, musical themes by Blondie, Electric Light Orchestra, Deep Purple and The Stooges add a touch of good taste to the plot. Every time Cruella shows her unique designs on the runways, she is presented in the best style of a rock star. Emma certainly enjoys her role because Cruella is an antihero, so she allows her to wander between right and wrong. The aesthetics of this film is very marked but not unpleasant, in that aspect it is quite striking without being scandalous.

    I can also compare this film with The Devil Wears Fashion. Meryl Streep -Miranda Priestly- represents that eccentric and distinguished woman who does everything for fashion, leaving aside any kind of sentimentality. What matters is being famous. The most striking message is that Andy, Miranda's assistant, who is tempted by this world of frivolity, reflects and returns to her true essence (a humble and honest girl).

    In short, Cruella is another of those films that pursues a moral through personal evolution. She commits questionable acts in her youth, but then she realizes that circumstances pushed her to act in a certain way and this does not mean that she will continue to do so when she becomes aware of her place in the world.     Por otra parte, nos muestra o por lo menos a mí lo hizo, a nunca rendirnos y luchar hasta alcanzar nuestros sueños. Quizás no de la manera en que lo hizo Cruella, pero en sí ella solo hizo justicia y nunca se dio por vencida en alcanzar tener un nombre en el mundo de la moda, gracias a la ayuda de sus amigos, los cuales son su familia.

    I loved this film and I feel it is a betrayal of my childhood hahaha, as I hated the evil "Dalmatian killer" Cruella for years, but did they really show us the evidence of her killing animals (dogs), or did we just get carried away once again by the opinions of others, in this case the press.

    This film gives me a lot to think about and reflect on, above all I loved the intelligence and reverse psychology that is handled during the plot, the intelligence with which Estela exposes everything, because otherwise no one would have been able to do it.

    Starting from that point, it reminds me of something from real life, when someone we helped a lot, tried to put my family in a bad light, without us having done anything to him. One day, time proved him right, he put me in front of many of those people whom he tried to deceive with manipulation and lies, it was then when I went out to meet him and greeted him, smiling and this person responded to that greeting by making me look bad in front of everyone, as he had said barbaric things, even that none of us were talking to him and it was there where I proved that nothing of what this person had said was true.

    This is what happened to Cruella, in life, no matter how much you say, this person stole an idea from me, this person lied or did that, and worse when people have "more power than you", there is no complaint that is worth it. You have to act intelligently and then all that evil will come back to them.

    Amé esta película y siento que es una traición a mi infancia jajaja, ya que odié por años a la malvada Cruella "asesina de Dálmatas", pero ¿realmente nos mostraron las pruebas de que ella matara animales (perros)? o solo nos dejamos llevar una vez más por las opiniones de otros, en este caso la prensa.

    Ésta película me deja mucho en que pensar y reflexionar, sobre todo amé la inteligencia y psicología inversa que se maneja durante la trama, aquella inteligencia con que Estela hace que todo quede al descubierto, ya que de otra manera nadie hubiera sido posible.

    Partiendo de ese punto, me recuerda algo de la vida real, cuando alguien que ayudamos mucho, trató de mal poner poner a mi familia, sin nosotros haberle hecho algo. Un día, el tiempo le dio la razón a quién la tenía, me puso a esa persona frente a mucha de esa gente a las cuales trato de engañar con manipulación y mentiras, fue entonces cuando yo salí a su encuentro y le saludé, sonriendo y esta persona correspondió a ese saludo quedando mal ante todos, ya que había dicho barbaries, incluso que ninguno de nosotros le hablábamos y fue allí donde demostré que nada de lo que esta persona había dicho era verdad.

    Así le pasó a Cruella, en la vida, por más que digas, este me robó una idea, este mintió o hizo aquello y peor cuando las personas tienen "más poder que tú", no hay denuncia que valga. Hay que actuar con inteligencia y así toda esa maldad se les regresará.

    Cruella stars Emma Stone, who plays her role very well, also Mark Strong, who in my opinion has an impeccable performance and very much in keeping with his style. Cruella is a film of this year 2021.

    Lo triste de Cruella, es que en parte y por los visto en la comiquita, se convierte en aquello que tanto llegó a odiar. Es por ello que como decía el Chavo del 8: "La venganza nunca es buena, mata el alma y la envenena", la venganza ciega los pensamientos, mata al corazón, haciendo que a la final nos convirtamos en lo mismo o peor de lo que tanto criticamos en su momento.

    Cargar con culpas solo nos frena en el avance y desarrollo de nuestras habilidades. Sentirnos culpables, solo nos lleva a vivir tras una pena y dolor. Cuando Cruella descubre que ella nunca fue la culpable, siente un gran alivió, que se convierte en sed de venganza, venganza que logra conseguir sin convertirse completamente como La Baronesa.

    Si no has visto, Cruella Devil, que suena a débil pero es de Devil, te la recomiendo, tiene muchas eseñanzas tras la historia y los detalles no puedo contarlos.

    Cruella es protagonizada por Emma Stone, quién pues hace muy bien su papel, también actua Mark Strong, quién a mi parecer tiene una actuación impecable y muy acorde a su estilo. Cruella es una película de este año 2021.

    When I wrote about this film a few months ago, I gave him no hope. Anyway, not only me - many people who have definitely different tastes from mine, spoke about "Cruella" even more critically than me. We didn't believe this movie could be a success. Especially that Disney is responsible for it, which despite the very good MCU (yes, I don't like this universe anymore, but they cannot be denied success in presenting the characters, popularity and earnings), it still remains a typical corporation governed by order, PG-13 and, above all, Excel indicators. We did not believe that it was possible to make a movie about Cruella, an antagonist who did not have much potential for her solo product. Anyway, to be honest, regardless of the character, it usually doesn't make sense. Why? Because such characters are important only for the needs of a given animation - they are to dynamize the action, add problems to positive characters, thanks to them they are to learn something or understand and consolidate certain (usually simple, so that children do not have problems with understanding them) values. We were wrong, however, because, as "Cruella" showed, you can create an interesting production for both older and younger audiences, which is supposed to show a rather insignificant past.

    This movie is good both as a stand-alone production and as a prequel. You can watch it without knowing the iconic Disney animation, I even consider it superfluous. From what I can see from the opinions on the Internet, although maybe my research was too short, my opinion belongs to the minority. I mean seeing "Cruella" as a prequel. According to most of the people I've read, the main character's motivation, or rather the writers' idea, was stupid. However, I think otherwise - the events related to the Dalmatians (I will not say what, because the spoiler) were so sad that they could cause lifelong trauma and hatred towards these animals in the young heroine. I'm not saying this is normal - yes, her reaction is overly exaggerated, but these kinds of mistakes can be made by any of us. For example, Elton John, about whom I wrote in 1 of the previous texts, i.e. constantly returning to the past and insistent scratching of old wounds that would have healed if it were not for our behavior (I know something about this, because I committed myself and I still repeat this mistake sometimes) . Or another example about the same persona - doing everything in spite of others, feeding your wronged ego, developing it to gigantic proportions. This is how it is with us humans that we often do not notice our negative behavior and we tend to exaggerate or take extreme actions. But to be objective, I agree with the people saying that there was no need for a prequel to "Cruella". As one of the Polish YouTubers and film critics, Ichabod, rightly pointed out, Disney could easily "sell" this movie as such an alternative version of events. Kind of like the multiverse we know from Marvel movies. it would have been better if Disney had advertised this movie as an alternate version of the events. You don't have to be very perceptive to see some differences from the 1996 painting. For example, two of her helpers look clearly different from those we met in "Cruella". Perhaps in the second part we will say goodbye to them, and the anti-heroine will meet two stupid guys to kill the feeling of sadness? After all, they are actually the only loved ones that Cruella knows. Apart from that, the action of the film takes place in a different historical period and reality than the events in "101 Dalmatians". I don't consider it an inconsistency though, IMO can be excused, it's a regular teen movie, after all, so you can turn a blind eye to it.

    The beginning of the film is ... the beginning of the main character's life. This one stood out from an early age - she had her characteristic hair, the character of a mean and mean girl, generally from an early age she fought for hers and did not let herself be pushed around. Initially, her life is not successful, but with time there are more and more joyful elements that add positive colors to her gray life. That is, she makes friends who, like her, have not had much love from their parents and life. Moreover, fate gives her a unique chance to make her biggest dream come true. It is about becoming a fashion designer, she wants to work for the best specialist in this profession, i.e. the Baroness. Although it is difficult to say anything positive about her, the fact is that she has a unique advantage - she sets trends in the fashion world, journalists write about her, and her clothes are admired by wealthy people in England. By chance, Cruell gets her attention, and then she gets a job offer, where she quickly gains experience, climbs the ladder ... At this point, I'm done. The script is not very original and I have seen it several times (sometimes in better, sometimes worse form), but it is so good that I do not want to reveal the script to you. And above all, for the first time in a very long time, I do not mind the process of mass production of films by Disney. Perhaps if I watched the other prequels from the Mickey Mouse studio, I would see more clichéd and repetitive elements, but if I did not notice them (and as you know me, you know that I can be meticulous in this regard), it probably is not so bad about it respect.

    Is this the beginning of a change in Disney's approach to live action movies? I will not prolong it - no, I think that "Cruella" is more a coincidence than a deliberate action of the studio. Sure, I can be wrong and maybe Disney has just decided to make a change in their mentality, but ... For me to believe it, I would have to be infatuated, like with Marvel from 5, 6 years ago. Maybe I would still believe it if it was about the Marvel universe - there was none, Kevin Feige earned huge money for the Mickey Mouse corporation, so he has enormous freedom of action. Unfortunately, even he has his hands tied by PG-13 and Disney's overzealous image of being family friendly. Plus, as I reported recently on the news, Disney is gradually reversing all the good changes that the Marvel movie boss has made. The corporate decision chain (which was kicked out by Kevin) returns, Excel and cool calculation get more options again, and Disney squeezes every Intellectual Property like a lemon. Especially after the pandemic, when every penny counts. As Marvel's productions have shown, it is enough to involve good creators who will do well-known and pleasant things for fans, and they will shower them with their money.

    However, you have to be a fair commentator. While I've been criticizing more than praising Disney lately, they had some good ideas. If Bob Chapek learns a few things from Robert Iger, checks reviews of "Cruella", previous Disney films and draws conclusions, he can shape the next productions. It is possible that the subsequent paintings will deviate from the original just as much. Which would be good for both the Mickey Mouse corporation and the audience. Nostalgia is a powerful tool, but not one company has been disappointed at one point. For example, Disney just on the occasion of the final part of "Star Wars". People at some point will either have too much of it and won't pay any further, or the studio will spend too much money and won't be able to make money from it. Besides, it is a slow brand death, from which you can get even more money and even expand it with new parts. However, you have to have an idea for it, like the creators of "The Mandalorian", who perfectly showed (as opposed to movies) how you can combine all known elements with something new. Without losing fame or getting too much criticism, but a lot of praise. Of course, not every concept can get 3 or 4 movies, but 1 or 2? Calmly. After all, the sequel to "Cruella" is already being created. I don't know if Disney was prepared for it - i.e. for profit for sure, but for the positive reception of the audience? May only the creators have an idea for it and it would not be forced, as in the case of the new "Black Panther". And most of all, I hope Disney will not interfere with the production process of this film.

    It's definitely good for the camera work, the styling for that time and place, the Emma Stone & Emma Thompson acting, and Cruella's portrayal in the second half of the film where she causes problems for one character. I liked the long shots showing the main character's first place of work and many other scenes, such as the final stage concert. The styling for the bygone era was good and authentic, at least from my poorly educated perspective in this matter. I would venture to say that it turned out as well as it did on the series "The Queen's Gambit". As for Cruella, as I wrote in the introduction, I thought I would laugh at it more often than take it seriously. Her behavior is not childish, as we have been used to by previous Disney films. Of course, this is not the "Joker" level due to age restrictions, but for the PG-13 it turned out flawlessly. The anti-heroine's behavior is not unreal, and I can believe that a real person could apply similar, shocking behavior. When it comes to acting, I have nothing to complain about. Each actor and actress played at least at an acceptable level, and the main character and antagonist even at a very good level. Both are persuasive, charismatic, portray their emotions perfectly, especially Emma Thompson, whose British accent was a feast for my ear. I don't like this nation, but I do like their accent, especially on a bitchy woman like the Baroness.

    As for the summary, ... "Cruella" is a surprisingly successful production! I practically do not know other productions of this type from the Mickey Mouse studio, because I know more or less what to expect from them + I do not want to earn Disney (as well as any corporation that brazenly preys on its clients and takes all the money from them), but. .. I would not be lying if I said that it belongs to the better than the weaker. It is difficult for me to say whether today's children will enjoy it if they are unfamiliar with the 1996 movie, but my generation should not complain. Well, unless you don't like Disney even more than I do, then your opinion may be radically different from mine. Personally, I think this is more than "just a good movie" and I don't think you would have wasted your time. Well, unless you have something else to watch, then you can leave "Cruella" for another occasion. I rate it on 8/10. Some of you may shake your heads and be surprised that I rated this production so highly. It's hard, I have to live with it, but comparing "Cruella" to similar movies, I think that this assessment is self-defeating.

Por cierto un punto que me gustó de la película es que no tiene nada que ver con las películas de “101 dálmatas”, así que no importa si no has vistos “101 Dálmatas” no vas a tener problemas por entender esta.

    La actuación de Emma Stone me encanto, fue un gran acierto de la película, y es que el carisma y actitud de Emma Stone encaja súper bien con el personaje, sus expresiones, su estilo, todo! De verdad para mi es una de las mejores cosas que tiene la película.

    Hola hive, hace unos días tuve la posibilidad de ver la película "Cruella" que salio hace unos días, y me di cuenta que es una película que tiene bastante contenido que comentar.

    Hay un punto que me llamó mucho la atención cuando vi la película, y es que gran parte de esta se trata sobre Cruella intento vengarse, el personaje pasa por distintas emociones, pero nunca nunca la vemos arrepentida de alguna acción que haya cometido, es más ella intenta vengarse, logra vengarse y su sensación final es de satisfacción y lo mejor aún es que uno tiene esa misma sensación como espectador porque nos logran meter perfectamente en el personaje, la verdad me esperaba un final típico donde la venganza fuera mala y blah blah blah, pero es que ella es una villana y la quiero ver actuar como tal, que hayan mantenido esa esencia me parece que es un acierto de la película.

    La actuación de Emma Stone es magnífica, la manera en que se expresa le da mucho estilo al personaje, siento que esto le suma mucho a la película, una buena actuación siempre se agradece, Emma Stone en esta película nos deja ver otra vez su gran potencial, desde sus gestos hasta la forma de hablar, agregando el acento característico del personaje.

    A mi parecer, es de las pocas veces que se logra manejar el tema del feminismo de forma más que correcta, pues vemos personajes femeninos como Cruella, La Baronesa e incluso Maya, que son fuertes y dominantes, no se dejan intimidar por nadie, llegando a alcanzar la excelencia en sus ramas de trabajo, teniendo a otros hombres como sus subordinados y nada se siente forzado. El tema de la homosexualidad está bien llevado también, pues al fin del caso se mueven en un ambiente de moda, con escenas Horace vestido de mujer para llevar a cabo un plan, que no se sienten que fueron colocadas allí por sí, o para tratar de ser inclusivos.

    En conclusión, esta nueva versión de Cruella de Vil me pareció muy buena, construyendo unos cimientos muy fuertes para el personaje. La actuación de Emma Stone fue para enmarcar, además tenemos Emma Thompson como la Baronesa, haciendo un trabajo igual de bueno. La banda sonora y la ambientación también son cosas para remarcar, pues esa Inglaterra de los años 70 se logra vivir mejor con la música de bandas como Queen o The Doors.

    In conclusion, this new version of Cruella de Vil seemed very good to me, building a very strong foundation for the character. Emma Stone's performance was to frame, plus we have Emma Thompson as the Baroness, doing an equally good job.     After a couple of days, Cruella was released, a film whose promotional stage could be described as controversial and chaotic. The doubt was present in me since I watched the first trailer several weeks ago, I felt that we were about to observe a slow disaster that had no chance of going well.

    

    Not only is Cruella surprisingly good, but it has a couple of pretty remarkable aspects.

    Although it plays a lot with the canon of the original character (Out of 101 Dalmatians in 1961), the changes that are presented not only make enough sense of this new adaptation, but they give it a fresh air and much more apt without grating on the morally neat.

    

    Emma Stone manages to face the spiral to the madness of her character in an organic way, except for a couple of moments where the transformation collides a bit if you get detailed. She knows how to face two opposite poles in a fairly solid way, comparisons are hateful and although it is inevitable to compare her with Glenn Close, who would play Cruella in a previous live action version, Stone shines with her own light.

    Cruella is a technical marvel, and has sets and costume designs that only a giant like Disney could make a reality, at least in the first bars of the footage this is what will catch them, because narratively its beginning may be the weakest.

    

    From the thematic point of view, perhaps the film's greatest achievement is knowing how to balance the fashionista spirit of its character by talking about its evil, but at the same time, manipulating the role that Cruella fulfills within her own universe, it had already been seen before in films like Malefficient. within Disney itself, only here it feels much more refined.

    Of course, the film is far from perfect and the most attentive eyes can easily notice its seams, for those looking for a fun and relatively emotional time Cruella offers a mix between heist movie and devil wears Prada who has fun existing within herself , Easter eggs are subtle and fun, and they never seem to pull the absurd nostalgia to work.

    

    A visual wonder and very well told, that although it alters the pillars of a character that we all know and love to hate, it comes out as its own thing, creative and fluid.

    Although the timing is a bit bitter, considering the great wave of soulless live actions that Disney has released year after year, which could predispose us not to accept Cruella's virtues with open arms, I feel that there is much to admire in this adaptation.

    Luego de un par de días se estrena Cruella Devile, una cinta cuya etapa promocional podría describirse como polémica y caótica. La duda estuvo presente en mi desde que observé el primer trailer hace varias semanas, sentí que estábamos apunto de observar un lento desastre que no tenía ninguna posibilidad de salir bien.

    

    Sorprendentemente, Cruella no solo es buena, sino que tiene un par de aspectos bastante destacables.

    Aunque juguetea bastante con el canon del personaje original (Salido de 101 Dalmatians en 1961), los cambios que se presentan no solo tienen bastante lógica dentro de esta nueva adaptación, sino que le dan un aire fresco y mucho más apto sin rallar en lo moralmente pulcro.

    

    Emma Stone logra enfrentar la espiral a la locura de su personaje de forma orgánica, salvo un par de momentos en donde la transformación choca un poco si te pones detallista. Sabe afrontar dos polos opuestos de manera bastante sólida, son odiosas las comparaciones y aunque resulte inevitable compararla con Glenn Close, quien interpretaría a Cruella en una versión live action previa, Stone brilla con luz propia.

    Cruella es una maravilla técnica, y tiene unos sets y diseños de vestuario que solo un gigante como Disney podría hacer realidad, al menos en los primeros compases del metraje esto es lo que va atraparlos, porque narrativamente su inicio quizá sea lo más flojo.

    

    Desde lo temático quizá el logro más grande de la película es saber balancear el espíritu fashionita de su personaje conversando su maldad, pero al mismo tiempo, manipulando el rol que Cruella cumple dentro de su propio universo, ya se había visto antes en filmes como Maleficient dentro de la propia Disney, solo que aquí se siente mucho más refinado.

    Por supuesto, el filme dista de ser perfecto y los ojos más atentos podrán notar sus costuras con facilidad, para aquellos que busquen un rato divertido y relativamente emocional Cruella ofrece una mezcla entre heist movie y devil wears Prada que se divierte existiendo dentro de si misma, los Easter eggs son sutiles y divertidos y nunca parecen jalar de la nostalgia absurda para funcionar.

    

    Una maravilla visual y muy bien contada, que aunque altera los pilares de un personaje que todos conocemos y amamos odiar, sale airosa como su propia cosa, creativa y fluida.

    Aunque el timing sea un poco amargo, considerando la gran oleada de live actions sin alma que ha estrenado Disney año tras año, lo cual podía predisponernos a no aceptar con brazos abiertas las virtudes de Cruella, siento que hay mucho que admirar en esta adaptación.

    Ayer vi Cruella, obligado por mi hija, y me acorde de las dos versiones de “101 dálmatas”. La primera de 1996 dirigida por Stephen Herek con Glenn Close como Cruella de Vil , (excelente villana con un humor negro muy sarcàstico), pero mediocre película, (a los ojos de un adulto), y su obligada y todavía más mediocre secuela del año 2000 “102 dàlmatas” dirigida por Kevin Lima.

    Yesterday I saw Cruella, forced by my daughter, and I remembered the two versions of "101 Dalmatians". The first one in 1996 directed by Stephen Herek with Glenn Close as Cruella de Vil, (excellent villain with a very sarcastic black humor), but mediocre film, (in the eyes of an adult), and its obligatory and even more mediocre sequel in 2000 "102 Dalmatians" directed by Kevin Lima.

    Me encontré con una película de presentación del personaje, que nos hace entender el porqué su aversión hacia los perros dálmatas. Me recordó en su desarrollo mucho a la película “El Diablo se viste de Prada” y hasta a “Oliver Twist” . Es una de las películas más oscuras y madura de Disney, que habla de ciertos temas como el de la muerte.

    I found myself with an introductory film of the character, which makes us understand why his aversion to Dalmatian dogs. It reminded me in its development a lot of the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and even "Oliver Twist". It is one of Disney's darker and more mature films, which talks about certain themes such as death.

Explora los comienzos de una de las villanas más icónicas del cine Cruella de Vil. En la ciudad de Londres en los años 70, una joven timadora de nombre Estella, se interesa en la moda y el estilo desde pequeña. Cuando por fin entra en ese mundo se encuentra con La Baronesa (Emma Thompson), que resultará ser su adversaria, así comienza un duelo por ser la reina de la moda.

    Cruella hooked me from the moment we see the protagonist as a child; from there it gets more and more entertaining. It explores the beginnings of one of cinema's most iconic villains Cruella de Vil. In the city of London in the 1970s, a young con artist named Estella has been interested in fashion and style since she was a child. When she finally enters that world she meets The Baroness (Emma Thompson), who will turn out to be her adversary, and so begins a duel to be the queen of fashion.

    Emma Stone se roba la película con su actuación, acompañada de un vestuario fabuloso. La Baronesa, es tan perversa como ella gracias a la excelente interpretación de Emma Thompson; además también se viste con glamour. Gaspar y Horacio, los amigos de Estella/Cruella son un alivio cómico que funcionan muy bien. También destacan los perros de Horacio y Estella ayudantes en las fechorías que cometen.

    Emma Stone steals the movie with her performance, accompanied by fabulous costumes. The Baroness, is as wicked as she is thanks to Emma Thompson's excellent performance; she also dresses glamorously. Gaspar and Horatio, Estella/Cruella's friends, are comic relief that work very well. Horacio and Estella's dogs also stand out as helpers in the misdeeds they commit.

    Todo ello acompañado de una banda sonora repleta de canciones icónicas que encajan a la perfección, con temas de: The Clash, The Doors, Queen, Nina Simone, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Blondie, Nancy Sinatra, Deep Purple , Tina Turner, Supertramp entre muchos otros. Su tema principal Call Me Cruella es interpretado por el grupo ingles Florence + The Machine.

    All this accompanied by a soundtrack full of iconic songs that fit perfectly, with tracks by: The Clash, The Doors, Queen, Nina Simone, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Blondie, Nancy Sinatra, Deep Purple , Tina Turner, Supertramp among many others. Its title track Call Me Cruella is performed by the English band Florence + The Machine.

    Hay tres cosas que diferencian la película en comparación con la versión original animada y la versión “Live Action” de 1996, ahora la dama inglesa: Anita es de color con pelo a lo afro; y Roger parece venido de la India. Luego tenemos al personaje gay de turno con cierto aire a Rod Stewart . Todo adaptado a los tiempos que corren y a la no discriminación de raza o sexo. Con esto no tengo ningún problema.

    There are three things that differentiate the film compared to the original animated version and the "Live Action" version of 1996, now the English lady: Anita is colored with afro hair; and Roger seems to come from India. Then we have the gay character with a certain Rod Stewart look. All adapted to the times and to the non-discrimination of race or sex. I have no problem with this.

    Cruella es estéticamente muy buena y a pesar de sus más de dos horas de duración nos deja con ansias de ver más. Retrata la Revolución Punk-Rock de los años 70 en Inglaterra en la moda, el maquillaje y los gustos musicales. Aquí, Cruella no mata perritos, al contrario los dálmatas son sumamente odiosos.

    Cruella is aesthetically very good and despite its more than two-hour running time leaves us wanting to see more. It portrays the Punk-Rock Revolution of the 70's in England in fashion, makeup and musical tastes. Here, Cruella doesn't kill puppies; on the contrary, Dalmatians are extremely hateful.

    No es una Obra Maestra, pero la recomiendo para entretenerse y pasar el rato.

Este personaje de Cruella fue creado por Dodie Smith para su novela infantil “101 Dálmatas”, se convirtió en una de las villanas más retorcidas y amadas del cine animado cuando Disney la lanzó en la pantalla grande en 1961.

    In my opinion the film has incredible moments of strength and fluidity in its scenes and song choices, but it loses a bit of coherence in its transition from Cruella in childhood to adulthood. It is a tape with a that takes a mythical person to take it to the terrain of her instead of being a copy of its original. He also does this tastefully, thoughtfully, and brilliantly spearheaded by a wonderful performance by Emma Stone. So I recommend you watch it and here the trailer for the tape.

    En mi opinión la película tiene momentos increíbles de fuerza y fluidez en sus escenas y escogencias de canciones, pero pierde un poco de coherencia en su transición de la Cruella en su niñez hasta su adultez. Es una cinta con un que toma un personaje mítico para llevarlo a su terreno en lugar de ser una copia de su original. Hace esto además con buen gusto, bien pensado y brillante encabezado por una interpretación maravillosa de Emma Stone. Así que te recomiendo verla y acá el tráiler de la cinta.

    Quiero empezar con decir que Emma Stone es todo lo bueno que hay. Punto.

    I want to start with saying that Emma Stone is as good as it gets. Period.

    Habiendo dicho eso, Cruella ya se estrenó en la plataforma de Disney Plus el día de ayer 28 de mayo y por supuesto y como fanático que soy del cine en general era una película que había que ver rápido por la gran expectativa que me generó. Podemos o no ser muy amantes de las adaptaciones de Disney de las películas o de los míticos personajes de su universo pero en lo que si podemos estar de acuerdo es que Emma Stone siempre ha sido increíble y de ahí mi expectativa.

    Having said that, Cruella was already released on Disney Plus platform yesterday, May 28th and of course, as a fan of movies in general, it was a movie that I had to see quickly because of the great expectation it generated in me. We may or may not be very fond of Disney's adaptations of movies or mythical characters of their universe but what we can agree on is that Emma Stone has always been amazing and hence my expectation.

    Recuerdo que cuando vi el tráiler de esta película quedé maravillado de lo que se venia, por la época, el vestuario y sobre todo por las actuación de Stone. Era difícil imaginar por donde podía Disney tirar con esta película, a nivel de historia y trama, pero afortunadamente estuvo decente.

    I remember when I saw the trailer for this movie I was amazed at what was coming, because of the period, the costumes and especially Stone's performance. It was hard to imagine where Disney could go with this movie, in terms of story and plot, but fortunately it was decent.

    Cruella es esta villana de aquella película clásica "Los 101 dálmatas" que se une al grupo de los "Lives Action" que está haciendo Disney, pasó con Aladdin, El rey León, Mulan, etc. La diferencia es que en esas más o menos sabíamos que esperar, de hecho Mulan si fue un poco diferente, pero al final teníamos una idea de que podría pasar, pues con Cruella no, por lo menos yo no y eso fue lo que me sorprendió.

    Cruella is this villain from that classic movie "The 101 Dalmatians" that joins the group of the "Lives Action" that Disney is doing, it happened with Aladdin, The Lion King, Mulan, etc. The difference is that in those we more or less knew what to expect, in fact Mulan if it was a little different, but in the end we had an idea of what could happen, well with Cruella no, at least I didn't and that was what surprised me.

    Si ven la película de Los 101 dálmatas verán que no hay mucha información de este personaje, tanto es así que podemos inferir muchas cosas nada con el nombre pero en esta película no hay nada que se aleje más de la realidad que esa inferencia. Cruella aparece como "Estella", una joven que lo que quiere más en la vida es ser diseñadora de modas hasta que después de tanto luchar logra trabajar con "La Baronesa" interpretada por Emma Thompson.

    If you see the movie The 101 Dalmatians you will see that there is not much information about this character, so much so that we can infer many things from the name but in this movie there is nothing that is further from reality than that inference. Cruella appears as "Estella", a young woman who wants more in life is to be a fashion designer until after so much struggle she manages to work with "The Baroness" played by Emma Thompson.

    Si Stone fue un pilar para que la película sea de calidad, Emma Thompson también tendría que ser nombrada. El nivel de actuación de esta actriz en este papel es muy bueno, al punto de que efectivamente la llegas a odiar un poco a medida que va avanzando la trama. Pero bueno, siguiendo con Estella pronto se dará cuenta que los problemas e inseguridades de Cruella empiezan a salir a flote por lo que da comienzo a una guerra de modas y estética sorprendentes.

    If Stone was a pillar in making the film quality, Emma Thompson would also have to be named. The acting level of this actress in this role is very good, to the point that you effectively come to hate her a little as the plot progresses. But well, following Estella, you will soon realize that Cruella's problems and insecurities start to come to the surface, which is the beginning of a surprising fashion and aesthetic war.

    Claro, siendo una película cuyos orígenes son de un clásico pasado en algunos pasajes esta nueva historia hace alusión a ciertos detalles de aquel film, ya sea por la relación de nuestra protagonista con los perros dálmatas, por la ayuda constante de un par de "socios", entre otras cosas. Aún así puedo decir que este personaje de Cruella es muy diferente al original por lo que les puedo asegurar que no es una copia del personaje de los 90.

    Of course, being a film whose origins are from a classic past, in some passages this new story alludes to certain details of that film, either by the relationship of our protagonist with the Dalmatian dogs, by the constant help of a couple of "partners", among other things. Even so, I can say that this Cruella character is very different from the original, so I can assure you that it is not a copy of the 90's character.

    De las cosas que también son un plus muy grande es toda la ambientación y el vestuario de esta película, si bien es verdad que yo de moda se lo que se de astrofísica, si puedo decir que esto fue un factor determinante para el posible éxito de esta entrega de Cruella. Además de que hay ciertas pinceladas de comedia que hacen que la experiencia sea un poco más amena, algo que se ha convertido es una firma indeleble de Disney en los últimos tiempos.

    Of the things that are also a big plus is all the setting and costumes of this film, although it is true that I know about fashion what I know about astrophysics, if I can say that this was a determining factor for the possible success of this installment of Cruella. Besides there are certain touches of comedy that make the experience a little more enjoyable, something that has become an indelible signature of Disney in recent times.

    La verdad es que estoy sorprendido con la película, obviamente no va a ser de lo mejor de Disney de los últimos años pero si se agradece que nos hayan traído una historia fresca e innovadora de esta "villana". Son casi 2 horas donde vamos a ver acción, risas y uno que otro momento nostálgico.

    The truth is that I am surprised with the movie, obviously it is not going to be one of the best Disney movies of the last years but I am grateful that they have brought us a fresh and innovative story of this "villain". It's almost 2 hours where we will see action, laughs and one or two nostalgic moments.

    No me fastidié de verla como me puede pasar con otras películas que comienzo a ver la hora para ver cuanto le queda, acá eso no pasó y para mi es una buena señal, muy personal claro está. Emma Stone es una actriz que rara vez hace algo mal y creo que este personaje le quedó como anillo al dedo, no se si la película fuera igual de buena sin ella.

    I didn't get annoyed watching it as it can happen to me with other movies that I start to watch the time to see how much time is left, here that didn't happen and for me that's a good sign, very personal of course. Emma Stone is an actress who rarely does something wrong and I think this character fit her like a glove, I don't know if the movie would be as good without her.

    Si, la recomiendo. Es buena, amigable y se deja ver fácilmente. Una calificación? - 8/10, sin más ni menos. Creo que Disney después de varios intentos hizo un buen "Live Action".
