Saludos amigos de esta comunidad de Movies and TV Shows. Hoy les traigo una pequeña reseña sobre una película que vi recientemente titulada “Cruella”. Espero que sea de mucho agrado para ustedes.
Greetings friends of this Movies and TV Shows community. Today I bring you a little review about a movie I saw recently titled "Cruella". I hope it will be of much pleasure for you.
En mayo del 2021 el mundo cinematográfico dirigió su alfombra roja hacia las pasarelas de la moda, enfocando su atención en una historia basada en un villano conocido por algunos, odiado por otros y de seguro que después de esta película también será un personaje amado por muchos. “Cruella” es un film dirigido por el director Craig Gillespie bajo una especie de género de acción criminal, en la que una joven mostrará un extraordinario talento que está por encima de lo ordinario, mientras pone sobre el tapete una interesante disputa entre lo bueno y lo malo.
Y es que a esta cita llega vestida de gala nuestra protagonista Estella (Emma Stone) una chica marcada desde su mismo nacimiento por el rechazo y el desprecio de muchos, mientras una herida del pasado termina de encaminarla por una vida llena de dificultades y en las que deberá usar más que su ingenio para poder dedicarse a lo que más anhela ser y cumplir ese sueño que ha tenido desde su niñez.
In May 2021 the film world turned its red carpet to the fashion runways, focusing its attention on a story based on a villain known by some, hated by others and sure to be a beloved character by many after this film. "Cruella" is a film directed by director Craig Gillespie under a kind of criminal action genre, in which a young woman will show an extraordinary talent that is above the ordinary, while putting on the table an interesting dispute between good and bad.
Our protagonist Estella (Emma Stone), a girl marked from birth by the rejection and contempt of many, arrives at this event dressed in gala, while a wound from the past ends up leading her through a life full of difficulties and in which she must use more than her wit to be able to dedicate herself to what she longs to be and fulfill the dream she has had since childhood.
Estella tendrá que abrirse paso no solo ante las adversidades de la vida sino también ante un rival digno de temer, y esta también viste de traje y se presenta como La Baronesa Von Hellman (Emma Thompson), una mujer que es de armas tomar y que ante el resurgir de una posible contendora en el mundo de la moda, hará lo que ella mejor que nadie sabe hacer: ser malvada.
Esta película es una verdadera batalla campal y mediática en la que dos mujeres medirán su inteligencia, su coraje y sus talentos a fin de quedarse con el máximo galardón y reconocimiento que les permita ser la numero uno en el ámbito de la moda y el diseño. Si piensas que la maldad no viste a la moda, pues esta historia te hará cambiar de opinión con toda facilidad. Será un choque de trenes cada vez que tanto Estella como La Baronesa se encuentren en una misma escena.
Estella will have to make her way not only against the adversities of life but also against a rival worthy of fear, and this also dresses in a suit and is presented as Baroness Von Hellman (Emma Thompson), a woman who is a tough cookie and that before the resurgence of a possible contender in the world of fashion, will do what she knows better than anyone else: to be evil.
This film is a real battle in which two women will measure their intelligence, courage and talents in order to win the highest award and recognition that will allow them to be the number one in the field of fashion and design. If you think that evil doesn't dress fashionably, this story will easily change your mind. It will be a train wreck every time both Estella and La Baronesa meet in the same scene.
El ambiente musical es muy bueno, con temas que se adaptan al momento y la trama que se está viviendo en esa parte de la película. El grueso de la historia gira alrededor de estas dos mujeres, y cada entrada en escena por parte de ellas es sencillamente espectacular, sin caer en lo absurdo ni lo sobreactuado en cuanto al papel que desarrollan. Y es que si bien todo gira en torno a la maldad de ambas, cada una lo hace con total propiedad y sin parecerse la una con la otra.
De allí podrás descubrir el origen de “Cruella” y todo lo que hubo detrás de una mujer que muchos de nosotros y desde muy pequeños ya teníamos marcada con el título de gran villana, pero esta película es maravillosa porque muestra más de lo que podríamos esperar en cuanto al pasado de este personaje.
The musical atmosphere is very good, with themes that adapt to the moment and the plot that is being lived in that part of the film. The bulk of the story revolves around these two women, and each entry on the scene by them is simply spectacular, without falling into the absurd or overacted in terms of the role they play. And although everything revolves around the evil of both, each one does it with total propriety and without resembling each other.
From there you can discover the origin of "Cruella" and everything that was behind a woman that many of us and since we were very young already had marked with the title of great villain, but this film is wonderful because it shows more than we could expect in terms of the past of this character.
La película se da el lujo de presentar, no una, sino dos excelentes actuaciones bajo el mismo rol, y no por el hecho de que ambas se llamen Emma, sino que cada una le da ese toque único y personal que les permite brillar por separado y con total calidad. Estoy seguro que al disfrutar de esta historia por primera vez, te llevarás una gran sorpresa con todo lo que se podría esperar con el personaje de Cruella.
Maldad + belleza = una actuación magistral por parte de Emma Stone. Me gustó mucho la forma en la que acopló su estilo y carisma al personaje, haciéndolo de una forma muy genuina que de seguro marcará una tendencia de aquí en adelante para futuras producciones relacionadas con este personaje. De forma paralela, me hizo recordar lo que el mismo Heath Ledger logró plasmar con el Joker en la película “Batman: The dark Knight”. Es más, con esto de los multiversos no habría sido descabellado pensar en juntar al Joker y a Cruella en una misma película de no ser por la triste realidad en la que no podemos ver más a Heath en este memorable papel de villano.
The film has the luxury of presenting, not one, but two excellent performances under the same role, and not because they are both named Emma, but because each one gives it that unique and personal touch that allows them to shine separately and with total quality. I'm sure that when enjoying this story for the first time, you will be in for a big surprise with everything that could be expected with Cruella's character.
Evil + beauty = a masterful performance by Emma Stone. I really liked the way she coupled her style and charisma to the character, doing it in a very genuine way that will surely set a trend from here on out for future productions related to this character. In a parallel way, it reminded me of what Heath Ledger himself managed to capture with the Joker in the movie "Batman: The dark Knight". Moreover, with this multiverse thing, it wouldn't have been unreasonable to think of putting the Joker and Cruella together in the same movie if it weren't for the sad reality that we can no longer see Heath in this memorable villain's role.
Son muchas las cosas que se pueden extraer de esta película, y desde un principio lo que me gustó fue el enfoque que le dan a eso que a muchos nos puede causar problemas en la vida, y es cuando por algún rasgo o motivo de peso, demostramos ser diferentes a los demás. Es aquí cuando aprendo en que, no se trata de dejar de ser diferentes para ser iguales a los demás, sino de ser lo que somos y marcar la diferencia.
Otro de los puntos que me gusta de la película, es la manera en la que se presentan esos talentos con los que nacemos y como llegamos a alcanzar muchas cosas en la vida gracias a ello. Se nota lo que puede pasar con algún don o talento mal dirigido, subestimado e incluso despreciado, y como sin querer o queriendo se puede perturbar la vida de alguien que fácilmente podría alcanzar el éxito llevando a cabo lo que más le agrada hacer para vivir.
There are many things that can be extracted from this film, and from the beginning what I liked was the approach they give to that which many of us can cause problems in life, and that is when for some trait or reason of weight, we prove to be different from others. It is here when I learn that it is not about not being different to be the same as others, but to be what we are and make a difference.
Another point I like about the film is the way it presents those talents we are born with and how we achieve many things in life thanks to them. It shows what can happen with a gift or talent that is misdirected, underestimated and even despised, and how unintentionally or unwillingly it can disrupt the life of someone who could easily achieve success by doing what he or she most enjoys doing for a living.
El hilo argumental de la trama es bastante sencilla de seguir y no deja baches de posibles historias que no se contaron o se dejaron a la mitad. No hay mucho espacio entre escenas en las que no se toque el tema del diseño y la moda, y de esta manera este se vuelve en el ambiente principal de toda la película. El elenco secundario de actores, encabezado por los amigos de Estella, el mayordomo, el diseñador de Estella y hasta su misma madre hacen un papel bastante bueno que ayuda a darle más color a la historia que principalmente dirige su foco hacia Cruella y La Baronesa.
En síntesis, debo admitir que esta película superó mis expectativas y se ha convertido en una de mis favoritas, no solo por el personaje de Cruella sino también por el marco general que nos permite conocer a esta carismática y hermosa villana. Es una película que recomiendo abiertamente con la garantía de que vas a disfrutar de una excelente producción, cargada de muchas emociones y mucha acción.
The plot is fairly straightforward to follow and doesn't leave any plot holes of possible stories that were left untold or left in the middle. There is not much space between scenes in which the theme of design and fashion is not touched upon, and in this way it becomes the main mood of the whole film. The supporting cast of actors, headed by Estella's friends, the butler, Estella's designer and even Estella's mother play a very good role that helps to give more color to the story that mainly focuses on Cruella and The Baroness.
In summary, I must admit that this movie exceeded my expectations and has become one of my favorites, not only because of Cruella's character but also because of the general framework that allows us to get to know this charismatic and beautiful villain. It is a movie that I openly recommend with the guarantee that you are going to enjoy an excellent production, loaded with lots of emotions and lots of action.
