Everyday life's hardship of immortals in Japan. They have no human rights and the "government" does cruel unethical inhuman experiments on them, using torture extensively.
Dynamic story, full of action. Gets slightly worse as it develops. Very supernatural concept of immortality. Unimpressive graphics.
Mildly entertaining. Main problem is struggle between "peaceful" group of immortals versus militant group of immortals pushing back against hunt and experimentation.
The show is infused with propaganda but I suppose nothing less is expected from "Netflix original series"... Against all odds, protagonist works with his torturers against(!) immortals who try to fight for liberties and rights. Of course, freedom-fighting immortals are blackwashed in the end. Almost always, immortals are referred to as non-humans (de-humanising group of people).
