Captain America: Civil War felt much bigger than a normal Captain America movie. By this point, the Avengers had already been through a lot, and this movie finally showed how all those different personalities and beliefs could push them in completely different directions.
What I liked most was that the conflict did not feel like a simple fight between good guys and bad guys. Both sides had understandable reasons for what they believed, and that made the whole situation more interesting. I found myself agreeing with both sides at different moments.
The movie also had a more serious feeling compared to Ant-Man, which I reviewed yesterday. There was still some humor, especially from the newer and younger characters, but the overall mood felt heavier.
One of my favorite things was seeing the Avengers interacting with each other outside of the usual team battles. The arguments between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark worked because their personalities were so different. Steve followed what he believed was right, while Tony was more willing to accept rules after everything that had happened.
Then there was Spider-Man. I really enjoyed his introduction here. Tom Holland brought a completely different energy to the movie, and his conversations with Tony and his excitement about meeting the Avengers made those scenes a lot of fun.

The airport fight was obviously the biggest highlight for me. So many characters were involved, yet everyone still had their own style, and the fight kept switching between comedy and serious moments.
I also liked how the movie gave more attention to Bucky and Steve's relationship. It made Steve's decisions feel more personal instead of just being about superhero politics. At the same time, Tony's side of the conflict became easier to understand as the movie went on.
What I appreciated most was that Civil War was really about friendship, trust and responsibility underneath all the superhero action. These were people who fought together before, and seeing that trust start to break made the conflict hit harder.

Overall, Captain America: Civil War was one of the MCU movies I enjoyed because it gave me a lot more than just big action scenes. It had strong character moments, great team interactions, some excellent humor and one of the most memorable superhero battles in the MCU.
