ย Greetings, dear otakus of #TheAnimeRealm. Last week, I finished watching the second season of Kaiju No. 8. And I had no idea that the series itself would be so short in both the manga and anime. However, this second season came loaded with strong emotions that are worth mentioning.

ย While the first season was a buzzworthy series and captivated a few fans with its unique, different plot, this second season started a bit slow for me and only got interesting in the last four episodes.

ย And after finishing the final episode, I was deeply disappointed, not with the series itself, but with its creators. If the manga is so short and the second season covered so much, why not extend the second season with five or seven more episodes and finish the story once and for all?

ย Now, as a fan, should I wait approximately two years for them to decide whether to finish the anime or not? Honestly, that doesn't seem fair to me. What I do find necessary is to finish reading the manga. And I think that's why I haven't seen many reviews of this second part, nor have I read any opinions about it.

ย I haven't seen any news or advertisements announcing a second season of this incredible series either. Which leads me to believe that the second season wasn't as successful as the first, and even more so with the ending they gave it, which left everything up in the air.

ย Yes, the series leveled up with its fights and confrontations, also with the training for the Kaiju hunters, but after seeing so much preparation, to be left like this without knowing who lives and who dies in a fight that is clearly going to be epic in every sense, and that the creators of the anime have not even spoken out to confirm at least a third season, this goes too far in cruelty to its fans.

La gente no ha dicho absolutamente nada y de haberlo dicho, la noticia pasรณ desapercibida porque no di con nada nuevo o sustancioso para corroborar que la segunda temporada pasรณ como bajo la mesa en comparaciรณn con otras historias.
ย No one knows if there will be a movie for the final chapter of the manga or if it will be a short series. People haven't said anything at all, and even if they had, the news went unnoticed because I didn't find anything new or substantial to corroborate that the second season went down like a cakewalk compared to other stories.
ย Ahora lo que sรญ me gustรณ de esta segunda temporada fue el desarrollo y la evoluciรณn de los personajes en general. Conocer a otros capitanes de una รฉlite mรกs alta de cazadores de Kaijus me agradรณ bastante, pero incluso con tanto poder en sus trajes, no logro dejar de pensar en ese episodio final y preguntarme: ยฟquiรฉn podrรก ganar?
ย Now, what I liked about this second season was the overall character development and evolution. Meeting other captains of a more elite Kaiju hunter group was quite enjoyable, but even with so much power in their suits, I can't stop thinking about that final episode and wondering: who will win?
ย Conocer un lado mucho mรกs relajado del capitรกn Soshiro Hoshina y verlo subir de nivel para usar un traje mucho mรกs exigente y poderoso fue lo que mรกs me gustรณ. Estos episodios los disfrutรฉ al mรกximo, le dieron un toque extra que le faltaba desde que la segunda temporada iniciรณ.
ย Getting to know a much more relaxed side of Captain Soshiro Hoshina and seeing him level up to use a much more demanding and powerful suit was what I enjoyed most. I thoroughly enjoyed these episodes; they gave the show an extra touch that had been missing since the second season began.

ย Pero aunque disfrutรฉ la segunda temporada, siento que a esta parte le faltรณ algo clave. No sรฉ cรณmo explicarlo, la serie iba muy bien en la primera temporada y en la segunda parte perdiรณ algo de enfoque. Dejando al protagonista de lado por completo, por lo que su participaciรณn fue casi nula. Esto no me agradรณ.
ย But while I enjoyed the second season, I feel like this part was missing something key. I don't know how to explain it; the series was going really well in the first season, but in the second half, it lost some focus. The protagonist was completely sidelined, so his participation was almost nonexistent. I didn't like this.
ย Honestamente pienso que pudo ser mejor. Y lamentablemente no voy a esperar dos aรฑos de mi vida para saber cรณmo acabarรก la historia. Me veo obligada a leerme ese manga para alcanzar de nuevo mi paz interior y evitarme Spoilers mรกs adelante. Por dejar mal a los fans con ese final tan crรณnico, de mi parte la recomiendo pero le doy 3 estrellas de 5.
ย I honestly think it could have been better. And unfortunately, I'm not going to wait two years of my life to find out how the story ends. I'm forced to read that manga to regain my inner peace and avoid spoilers later. Because it upsets fans with that rather grim ending, I recommend it, but I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars.
