  1. Kaiju N°8 (S2): Darker, More Epic but...【 🇪🇸 - 🇺🇸 】@pannavi264d

    pannavi portada.gif

Greetings, dear otakus of #TheAnimeRealm. Last week, I finished watching the second season of Kaiju No. 8. And I had no idea that the series itself would be so short in both the manga and anime. However, this second season came loaded with strong emotions that are worth mentioning.

While the first season was a buzzworthy series and captivated a few fans with its unique, different plot, this second season started a bit slow for me and only got interesting in the last four episodes.

    10.png

And after finishing the final episode, I was deeply disappointed, not with the series itself, but with its creators. If the manga is so short and the second season covered so much, why not extend the second season with five or seven more episodes and finish the story once and for all?

    2.png

Now, as a fan, should I wait approximately two years for them to decide whether to finish the anime or not? Honestly, that doesn't seem fair to me. What I do find necessary is to finish reading the manga. And I think that's why I haven't seen many reviews of this second part, nor have I read any opinions about it.

    4.png

I haven't seen any news or advertisements announcing a second season of this incredible series either. Which leads me to believe that the second season wasn't as successful as the first, and even more so with the ending they gave it, which left everything up in the air.

    6.png

Yes, the series leveled up with its fights and confrontations, also with the training for the Kaiju hunters, but after seeing so much preparation, to be left like this without knowing who lives and who dies in a fight that is clearly going to be epic in every sense, and that the creators of the anime have not even spoken out to confirm at least a third season, this goes too far in cruelty to its fans.

    5.png

No one knows if there will be a movie for the final chapter of the manga or if it will be a short series. People haven't said anything at all, and even if they had, the news went unnoticed because I didn't find anything new or substantial to corroborate that the second season went down like a cakewalk compared to other stories.

    7.png

Now, what I liked about this second season was the overall character development and evolution. Meeting other captains of a more elite Kaiju hunter group was quite enjoyable, but even with so much power in their suits, I can't stop thinking about that final episode and wondering: who will win?

    9.png

Getting to know a much more relaxed side of Captain Soshiro Hoshina and seeing him level up to use a much more demanding and powerful suit was what I enjoyed most. I thoroughly enjoyed these episodes; they gave the show an extra touch that had been missing since the second season began.

    2.png

Also see how Kikoru Shinomiya and Reno Ichikawa rose in the ranks of the Defense Force; those were also good episodes.

    8.png

But while I enjoyed the second season, I feel like this part was missing something key. I don't know how to explain it; the series was going really well in the first season, but in the second half, it lost some focus. The protagonist was completely sidelined, so his participation was almost nonexistent. I didn't like this.

    3.png

I honestly think it could have been better. And unfortunately, I'm not going to wait two years of my life to find out how the story ends. I'm forced to read that manga to regain my inner peace and avoid spoilers later. Because it upsets fans with that rather grim ending, I recommend it, but I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars.

  2. End of Kaiju's second season. What am I expecting from the anime's third season? [ENG-ESP]@franz54283d

    image.png

Friends of The Anime Realm community and platform in general, today I bring you a review with my final opinion on the second season of the animated series, Kaiju No. 8, one of the best anime I've seen recently and which left me with a good overall impression during the season. Now that production has concluded, I can share a more detailed opinion with you. But I'm not only going to talk about what I thought of the second season, but also what I expect from season 3. In my last review, I talked about Kaiju after watching about six episodes, I don't remember exactly at this moment, but up to that point, the anime was almost perfect, being one of the best animated series I've seen, at least it's in my Top 10.

Kaiju No. 8 is an anime about Kafka, a man who becomes a Kaiju, one of the creatures that terrorize and want to destroy humanity. Our protagonist is a good man, part of the commandos that protect the city from these monsters. He is in the division that cleans up the city after the battles, but his real dream is to fight, to be part of the Defense Forces. If you want to know more about the plot of the animated series, I invite you to read my previous two reviews on Kaiju No. 8. The creatures are given numbers to identify their abilities and keep track of them. I mention this because in this season, even more of them appear, giving the story greater depth.

The latter is what I value most about anime, learning more about other characters, as the story does not only focus on the protagonist. The defense forces are linked, as most were marked by the Kaiju, with stories that are worth seeing. Now, the only complaint I have is that after certain episodes, the battles become less frequent, which disappoints me somewhat, as I prefer action to dialogue, especially when I see Kaiju No. 8 in action. The battles make my hair stand on end and give me goosebumps, as the adrenaline rushes through my veins. This second season is based on Kaiju No. 9 being the villain, with abilities that the defense forces do not expect, such as being able to manipulate bodies, memories, and strategies. His attacks are not physical, but go beyond the imaginable. From what I understand about this antagonist, he seeks to lower the morale of the Defense Forces in order to achieve his goals.

Although this season continues to reveal more about the direction of the story, it still leaves us with certain doubts about Kaiju No. 9's true objective and what it wants with Kafka Hibino and the power of the Kaiju, as it becomes a pillar of the squad. The animation and soundtrack continued to be of high quality. I especially liked the last episode, where a great battle began with the survival of humanity at stake and Kafka finally sprang into action, although in the end it was left hanging. Because yes, the same thing happened as with most good anime: the first episodes are great, then there are more filler episodes to lengthen the anime, and the episode is so good that we are left wanting to see more. So I am eagerly awaiting the third season of the anime Kaiju No. 8.

What do I expect from the second season of Kaiju No. 8? Well, honestly, I hope there are more episodes. The first season had 12, and the one that just ended had one less, so let's hope they don't reduce the number of episodes even further, because I want to continue enjoying this story. I want to see good character development, learn more about them, but also see great battles, with the same quality of animation and a soundtrack that lives up to it, because I think it's underrated. It doesn't have as much impact as others, but I think the quality is undeniable. Let's hope that the third season will have some magnificent episodes, that they will all be imaginative, that they will surprise us, and that if Kaiju No. 8 ends in the third season, it will have an ending that also lives up to what I've seen so far.

The third season does not yet have a release date, but it is expected to premiere next year or, at the latest, in early 2027. Hopefully, it will be in 2026, which I think is most likely. This is an anime that has pleasantly surprised me. Ever since I saw the compilation movie of the first season, I was hooked, and luckily the second season was airing, so every Saturday at 10 a.m. Venezuela time, I had something to watch. It's an animated series that's worth watching, and I hope it continues with the same quality in its story, animation, and soundtrack. That's all I ask. Nothing more.

  3. My first impression of the second season of the anime Kaiju No. 8 [ENG-ESP]@franz54319d

image.png Cover created in Canva.

    image.png

One of my latest reviews shared in this space was about the film Kaiju No. 8: Reconnaissance Mission, which is actually a compilation of the most important events from the first season of the anime Kaiju No. 8, a production that really surprised me. I must say that my expectations were low at first, but I really liked this animated series, so much so that I consider it one of my favourites in recent times, on a par with great productions such as Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul in its first and second seasons, Ajin, among others. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's the same or better, it just managed to capture my attention and I was quite satisfied with what I saw in the first edition, so don't hesitate to watch the second season.

This second season also has 11 episodes, one less than the first. This instalment continues the story of Kafka Hibino and his fight against the monsters threatening Japan, with a production that raises the bar in every way. Today, I am going to share my first impressions with you, as the second season is still airing. The sixth episode was released today, and the story is getting more and more exciting. Among the team working on this second season, Shigeyuki Miya stands out once again as the director of the Japanese animated series. Tetsuya Nishio is in charge of the design and art department. Now, in the first season, the script was written by Ichirō Ōkōchi, while in this second season, the dialogue and story were written by Yūichirō Kido. With this second change and due to the success of the first season, I had my doubts as to whether the story would maintain the same quality.

For those who have not yet read my first review of the anime, the story is set in Japan, which is constantly under attack by creatures called Kaiju, some of which have great powers that were listed by the Defence Force, a military organisation specialising in exterminating these creatures. Among them is Kafka Hibino, a man who wanted to become part of the city's defence force, but at first he was only someone who cleaned up the Kaiju killed in battle. But he never gave up on his goals, even though he didn't have the required power, but he did have the heart to achieve them. All this to join forces and fight alongside Mina Ashiro, who, after watching the entire anime, I learned was his childhood friend.

The truth is that the film is very good, a concise compilation, but it is always good to watch the anime in episodes, as they give us more details to understand the whole story, especially when we want to continue watching the anime. Kafka is a good man who, in the first season, became a Kaiju, which was his greatest fear, but this did not prevent him from achieving his dream and being the person he really is. To save his city and friends, he decided to transform himself to defeat the enemy, thereby securing his future. That's where the first season of Kaiju No. 8 ended. The second season begins with the defence squad wondering what to do with Kafka Hibino: whether to kill him or let him live and use him as a weapon.

Kafka, despite being a Kaiju, is a person who always wants to help others, so much so that most of the squadron trusts him, especially the group he started with and with whom he formed a very strong bond. In this second season, the great story continues, with the appearance of new characters, battles that never fail to deliver, and more details about the creatures and Kaiju No. 9 and his plan. Despite the change in screenwriter, the story continues to be as good as the first season, and I would even say that at times it is better, with epic scenes that we cannot stop watching.

Another highlight of this second season, apart from the great story, is the animation, which was once again handled by Production I.G. The characters' movements during battles are impressive, and their facial expressions show the reality they are seeing, which I think is important because it makes us believe what we are seeing. I believe that the character design in this second instalment has taken a step forward, both for the humans and the Kajiu, and since this anime is uncensored, we can enjoy great scenes that get our adrenaline pumping. The soundtrack continues to be as good as we appreciated it in the compilation film and the anime itself.

In just the six episodes I've seen of the second season of Kaiju No. 8, I can tell you that we are in the presence of a great anime, a story that may not be as famous as others, but it's worth watching and it gets better and better, with episodes full of emotion, even in the moments of dialogue and flashbacks to understand the story, it's not boring at all like other animes. I hope it continues with the same quality and achieves a well-deserved ending, rather than following the pattern of many anime series where, after initial success, the quality of the story declines, ruining what was achieved in previous seasons. There are still five episodes to go, but I have no doubt that it will have a great ending and that the story of Kafka Hibino will have a new season.

  4. KAIJU NO.8@mikeart336d

Monstrous Demon in Ink Sketch.png This piece is my interpretation of Kafka Hibino’s monstrous Kaiju form from Kaiju No. 8, captured in stark black ink on white, stripped of all color to let the raw intensity shine through. What makes Kaiju No. 8 so captivating isn’t just the destructive power—it’s the inner turmoil, the transformation of a man carrying the burden of both human duty and monstrous strength. In this drawing, I wanted to emphasize that duality: the clenched fist, ready to strike, and the face—part skeletal horror, part anguished warrior. The art style is purposefully rugged: thick, varied strokes, dense crosshatching, and scratchy imperfections reflect the chaos within the character. There’s no clean edge here—just sharp emotion, dark energy, and movement frozen in mid-roar. Every rough line adds tension, like the calm before the rampage. This isn’t just a monster—it’s a man becoming something more, and less, at the same time.

  5. My Point Of View On Kaiju No.8@aikay341d

So I have been watching this anime called Kaiju No. 8 , and seriously, I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, So at first,I wasn't really feeling the name, Another monster-fighting anime?” But this one came with it's own flavor, and I am not even going to lie, I really like the storyline, it is giving something different from the usual “young hero with big dreams” vibe, this one starts with a man who is 32 and low key tired of life.

The main guy's name is Kafka Hibino. (Yeah, weird name, I know.) but this guy has been dreaming of joining the Defense Force since he was younger, you know ,fighting monsters and saving lives, but life did not really smile at him early on, Instead of fighting kaiju like he wanted, he ended up working as a cleaner, the one that comes after the battles to help clean the monster guts and debris, Imagine dreaming of being Spider-Man and ending up as the janitor in his building, that’s how sad it was.

But then one day, as anime luck would have it, Kafka got infected by one mysterious kaiju worm-like thing , and boom, his life changed just like that, The man started transforming into a monster himself, Like full-blown kaiju form with crazy strength and all, That is how he became Kaiju No. 8, and now he is living a double life, human on one side, monster on the other.

What I really love about this anime is that it does not just give action and cool fights ,it also talks about dreams, pressure, and growing up, most anime you see nowadays are centered around teenagers who want to save the world, but this one is like a reminder that even if you are in your 30s, you can still go after what you want , even if you are covered in monster skin while doing it.

The fights, They did not come to play at all, the animation is clean, and the action scenes are fast-pace ,not those ones that drag like you are watching a snail fight Plus, the military squad people are really strong too, I especially like Mina Ashiro, Kafka’s childhood friend and crush, She is now one of the top kaiju killers in the Defense Force, and anytime she shows up on screen, you just know trouble is about to end.

Another thing is the humor, Kafka is funny in that tired adult kind of way, like someone that has seen life and is just trying to survive but still manages to crack you up, there is this kind of realness to his character that makes you root for him, and the way he is hiding his monster identity while trying to get into the Defense Force? Omo, the tension.

The only problem is that the episodes are not long enough , you know how you are just getting into the vibe, and boom, episode ends ,But I guess that's how you know the anime is good.

So yeah, if you are really into anime that is action packed, that has emotional depth, and will still gives you laugh out loud moments, Kaiju No. 8 is the one to check out, and especially if you are an adult that still has dreams you have not given up on,I feel this anime might just be speaking your language.

I have only gotten up to the latest episode, waiting for the next season, but so far it’s giving what it is supposed to give, Let me know if you have seen it and what you think, Or if you haven’t, just go check it out already, It is on Crunchyroll, Moviebox and everywhere people watch anime.

I will have to rate this anime 4/5 .

  7. Anime Review~Kaiju No. 8@seunruth350d

When Kaiju No. 8 premiered in 2024, I was immediately intrigued by its pedigree: Production I.G animating Naoya Matsumoto’s manga, monster designs by Studio Khara, and a premise that flipped kaiju tropes on their head. Driven more by curiosity than hype, I dove in expecting dazzling battles—and I got exactly that, plus something deeper.

Say hello to Kafka Hibino, a 32-year-old sweeper, or in other words, a person whose work is directly connected with the cleaning of the corpses of kaiju. He dreams of becoming a part of the Defense Force with a childhood friend, Captain Mina Ashiro. However, when Kafka fails the exam once more, his life is turned upside down after he accidentally turns into a kaiju. Better still, he maintains control and those in his team suspect nothing about the secret that emanates beneath his skin. He turns into the titular Kaiju No. 8, a yet unknown weapon in the making. A story of an underdog turns into an exploration of redemption, humanity, and the fact that the sense of identity depends on what we want to be.

Since the first episode, Kaiju No. 8 hooked me with its incredible animation. Kaiju fights are extremely heavy and clear on the screen. Whether Kafka changes into his mighty self, or the rescue teams are forming, every shot appears to be cinematic. Critics agree- The battles are brought to near theatrical levels by Production I.G in terms of timing, lighting, motion, and the intricate gore imagery.

Although the violence is brutal, the tone is a combination of intense drama and wicked humor: Kafka in mid-life crisis (hello, back pain at 32!), joking between cadets, and light-hearted fun even under fire. Internet fans have it as Kafka relatability points, or as they say it, Kafka is literally me, pushing 30s rn.

This is different from the arc of Kafka. He is also older than the typical shonen protagonist, a man plagued with indecisiveness and failure. Once he gets the power, his path does not shift to boasting; it becomes a silent fight to fit in, to defend, and to absolve himself. This maturity was hailed in many reviews as a contrast over the normal teenage protagonists.

The minor characters are powerful as well. The emotional tempo in the work is held by Reno Ichikawa, the energetic assistant of Kafka; Mina Ashiro, the friend of Kafka in childhood and the hot-blooded captain, moves the plot as the driving force of Kafka; Kikoru Shinomiya with her desire of ambitions and style evokes rivalry and development among the crew. They do not base their relationships on romance but develop it through friendship and tension to form relationships even without the predictable tropes

Kaiju No. 8 goes further than monsters and fighting scenes to touch upon themes of identity, sacrifice, and social purpose. This immunity is a secret that makes Kafka a possible savior and the existential threat. How is it to shoulder the strength of the opposition to guard the world which fears you?

The audience is also exposed to the kaiju attacks becoming normalized in the society: traffic lights covered in kaiju zones, civilian people not affected much more than a shrug- everything is reflective of how terror becomes normalised the more it occurs in society

Each of the shows has weaknesses- and Kaiju No.8 is not an exception. Certain fans have claimed that it relies on cliched shonen elements: power-ups, formulaic battles, and formulaic pacing. Other characters, such as Kikoru, Reno or even stoic Hoshina sometimes feel more like the archetype than the original character.

It has pacing problems especially mid-season episodes. Critics also commented that tactical depth and memorable choreography are not always present in the action scenes, though battles are over in a single blow not infrequently, and the emotional arc of characters, including side characters such as Reno and Iharu, are underdeveloped, basically lacking characterization.

Nonetheless, no matter how much fans complain, the matter concerning direct pacing is that simple pacing makes fights consistent and preserves emotional momentum, but can also make dialogue-heavy episodes appear to be longer in comparison to others.

Watching Kaiju No. 8 felt like rediscovering the thrill of heroism at an age when dreams should have metastasized into responsibilities. Kafka’s struggle—an imperfect but kind-hearted man granted monstrous power—resonated deeply. His humor, his hesitation, his loyalty—it felt human.

I laughed at his midlife businessman jokes. I sighed during training arcs that felt like déjà vu—but cheered when Kafka stood tall in the face of prejudice. And when the anime ended on that cliffhanger—Kafka fully disclosed as Kaiju No. 8—it felt like stepping off a ledge, excited and terrified at once.

The fact that its weaknesses were so easily forgiven was because the show was not afraid to make the monster the hero- the twist that it took on the expectations were the best way to do it. Where Attack on Titan is the question of what happens when humans are the monsters, Kaiju No. 8 is the question of what happens when the monster decides that they want to defend humanity. I was fascinated with that tension.

Kaiju No. 8 is not perfect, but it is clear about what it wants to be: a heroic journey in the larger-than-life stakes. It glows with lovers of giant monster combat, complicated duty and characters with huge flaws, trying to be good. Even though its emotional core is strong and visually powerful, it is still marred by tropes and pacing issues.

The second season begins July 19, 2025, as reviews and news confirm, with a quality and narrative leap in Season 1, in the same way as in the first season.

When you want a story where monsters not only pose a threat, but they can also defend, given their choice, Kaiju No. 8 does not disappoint. Kafka Hibino is a loser who keeps losing until he cannot lose anymore and the adventure of such a failure is as exciting as the kaiju havoc that overwhelms every moment.

It has made me understand that there is no age limitation to hope, and heroism. And that once in awhile The greatest monster in the world… could be the greatest thing that ever saved it.

  8. Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon // Anime Review [ENG-ESP]@franz54350d

    image.png

Friends of The Anime Realm community, I hope you are well. It is a pleasure to be here after some time. The truth is that I had not watched any anime for a while. Few caught my attention, and none attracted me enough to devote part of my time to them. Today I saw that an animated film called Kaiju No. 8: Reconnaissance Mission was available, a film that premiered in April 2025, with a running time of almost two hours. It was directed by Shigeyuki Miya and Tomomi Kamiya, while the screenplay was written by Ichirō Ōkōchi, an adaptation of Naoya Matsumoto's manga.

I must say that my expectations for this animated film (anime) were low. I watched it because at some point its story caught my attention, being an action and adventure anime with some comedy. This production also contains the fantasy genre, as it also deals with demons called Kaiju. Humanity fights these creatures, as they are evil and want to destroy everything in their path. Some of them even have consciousness, which I must say I did not fully understand. I must confess that I had doubts about whether it was an anime, as the story began from the beginning and was quite detailed, hence my doubts. After doing some research, I found out that the film itself is a Japanese animated series, with the episodes adapted into a film. I don't know if it's a summary or if it's exactly as it appears in the animated series.

The main character in the story is Kafka Hibino, who works as a kind of city cleaner, part of a group responsible for removing the organs of the Kaiju, presumably for the purpose of studying them. One day, Kafka suffered some injuries and had to be taken to the hospital, where, for some strange reason, he turned into one of these creatures. Our protagonist's dream was to become part of the group that defended the town from the creatures and annihilated them. The truth is that our protagonist did not have much strength to be in the group, but his determination and knowledge of the Kaiju led him to join and try to keep the secret of what he had become (a Kaiju). Hibino's dream is to join the Defence Forces that fight against the Kaiju, led by Captain Mina, who possesses great strength.

    image.pngimage.png Source

After doing some research on this story, as I mentioned earlier, it is based on an animated series and manga by Naoya Matsumoto. The story far exceeded my expectations; it was quite entertaining, and I even found similarities to the anime Ajin and Tokyo Ghoul, among others. The main characters were transformed into monsters that humanity feared and fought to destroy. It's a very entertaining story, with moments of action and even humour thanks to the personality of Kafka, a noble, kind-hearted person who helps others, his friends, regardless of the consequences. In addition, the story serves as personal motivation, as Kafka Hibino never gave up.

The message conveyed by this film based on the anime Kaiju is not only about action, not only about action and colossal monsters, but also conveys a deeply human and hopeful message. Our protagonist is 30 years old and is considered old by the rest of the defence forces team, but he doesn't care; he wants to fight for his dreams. ‘Age doesn't matter: if you go after your dreams, you can achieve them.’ Words from Omar Sánchez, the Latin American Spanish voice of Kafka. A story that captivated me from beginning to end.

I think the animation in the film is one of its strengths, as it really highlights the Kaiju, the characters, and how they were drawn by Naoya Matsumoto. The animation was done by Production I.G. and Studio Khara, who have worked on productions such as Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass, and Shin Godzilla. What I liked most about the visuals in the animated film were the battles and the effects, especially when the Kaiju were killed and organs and blood spurted everywhere. This production is completely uncensored. The battles are fast-paced, fluid, and feature striking effects. The adrenaline rushes when Kafka Hibino transforms and attacks, one of the best moments in the film. An animation full of details.

Yuta Bandoh was commissioned to compose the soundtrack 🎵. The production is good, introducing us to different moments in the story, with intense themes during combat, while in the emotional moments we have soft and enveloping themes that reflect Kafka's internal conflict and his bonds with Mina and Reno, the latter being his best friend and someone who helps him a lot, and another of my favourite characters in the plot. Kaiju No. 8: Reconnaissance Mission is a great film, a compilation of the first season of the anime, which did a magnificent job for those of us who did not see the animated series. It is a production with an entertaining story that captured my full attention. I did not find it boring; it has a lot of action and adventure, but also some good humour to give it a different touch. It also has great character design, great fight scenes, and a soundtrack that lives up to the rest. I recommend this production with my eyes closed.

  9. 🎬 📹 Kaiju Nº 8 🎬 📹@takeru255361d

    p.png

I greatly admire Kafka Hibino, that's a fact. This character stands out at first glance, not because he's an incredible, super-strong superhero, but because he's the most ordinary person in the world who, one day, had the best luck or the worst luck in the world. This allows him to become this powerful monster better known as Kaiju No. 8, and that's what I liked most about this series, which breaks the typical mold of those that deal with superheroes. This one is different; you could say it's the counterpart to One Punch Man, since, as I said, Kafka is characterized by not standing out, and if he does stand out, it's as the one who does it worst of all.

    image.png

So I admire this character for his perseverance, enthusiasm, and tenacity in keeping his chin up in the face of adversity. Series with characters like this inspire us to persevere in difficult situations in life, because no matter what, at some point, you just get tired and want to give up. But then you watch this series and say to yourself, “If he can do it because his situation is worse than mine, I can and must keep going too.” That's how these stories, when I watch them, lift my spirits and inspire me to try again and again.

And although it has a unique and unusual protagonist, there are other aspects of this anime that I liked. One of them is the style of its drawings and animation. I think that Production I.G studio has done a job on par with Ufotable. It's worth admiring, contemplating in detail, and enjoying throughout the series, especially in the fight scenes. For me, those were the best scenes. And those touches in the character design, each one detailed in a simple, straightforward way, suddenly reveal so many details in their expressions, especially in their gazes. Almost all the characters in Kaiku No. 8 express light or darkness at certain important moments just with their gaze, and this was a pleasure to watch throughout all the episodes.

    image.png

Kafka and his best friend are no slouches in this regard either. On the other hand, I must add that another aspect I liked most about this magnificent anime is that it shows the rapid evolution of its characters. Its protagonist never hesitates to push himself to the limit, even if it means dying. In addition, other characters remind me a little of others who became iconic in other stories, such as One Punch Man or Samurai X. For example, Kikoru Shinomiya reminds me of Tatsumaki in terms of personality and expressions, while Soshiro Hoshina reminded me a lot (but in a good way) of Seta Sōjirō because of his fighting style, his weapons, and also his haircut, even though they are different. What do you think?

Hello dear friends of @theAnimerealm a pleasure as always to write here, I really love to talk about the anime I have and not only comment a little of what they are from my point of view, but also express a little my reflection on it, for this occasion I have kaijuu8-gou a really interesting anime not only in terms of battles, but the same animation and sense that the characters give to the fight with the monsters in this case the kaijuu that I would define as alien type.

    MV5BMTkyYTcwNjctNDY4YS00YTk2LWE2NTUtNzRlNjFhMGNlODI2XkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMTEzMTI1Mjk3.V1.jpg Source

The kaijuu are strong, they come in different shapes and sizes, one would say that the most dangerous are the big ones, but I would say that the ones that can be very dangerous are the ones that possess humans and this time we have one that is in charge of grabbing the body of Kafka Hibino, a man who wants to enter the defense division and fight alongside his childhood friend Mina, who is currently the captain of one of the squads, so achieving is his most cherished dream.

But no matter how hard he tries, it is difficult, until thanks to the support of his new friend Reno who motivates him to continue trying to enter the division, as well as the fact that being possessed by a kaijuu gives him the opportunity to have powers and strength that will help him a little to achieve his goal, Of course in front of everyone he won't be able to use it, however, the knowledge he has as a forensic scientist so to speak, being in charge for a long time of checking the bodies of the kaijuu, learning about their organs, their weak points and so on, will give him a good result during his battle.

    MV5BMzUxOTBlNzMtYzAyZi00MDNhLWE3OGUtYWQ5MzQyZGE1OGYwXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMTEzMTI1Mjk3.V1.jpg Source

It is a very entertaining anime, it has comic parts, as well as the fights that originate are really amazing, they thrill you 100%, and to see how Kafka despite not having great physical ability, but with his knowledge can excel and get a little closer to his friend, even if this means at some point may be discovered. It is a story that is not only based on attacking monsters and surviving, it is about building alliances and becoming stronger in order to have a chance and be able to live as normal as possible.

    MV5BYjhmNmU2ZDYtZGMyZS00ZDA1LTk1Y2MtZWRiODAzMWZhNWU3XkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMTUzMTg2ODkz.V1.jpg Source

Some say they are aliens who came to earth, others say they are creations of human beings themselves, it is something questionable and there is a possibility that it is so, but even the story is in knowing about it and really find out what the kaijuu want although it seems that it is only to destroy everything and rule nothing else they, apparently something else is hidden. It is an anime that has only one season and 12 chapters. Waiting for its sequel that is about to continue.

    Greetings @theanimerealm community…

    REVIEW.jpg

Recently they released the trailer that gives us a glimpse of what is coming in the second season of Kaiju No.8 and that made me realize that I had not talked about that anime, especially when I think it was one of the best of the year, but it is never too late to recommend and remember the good story that will soon continue on screen, so, I leave you my impressions of it, as the positive and negative points it has.

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093047_www.imdb.com.png Source

    Kaiju No. 8 (怪獣8号)…

Released in 2024, directors Shigeyuki Miya & Tomomi Kamiya, along with animation studio Production I.G. bring us a story of action, horror, supernatural, science fiction and adventure genres.

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093122_www.imdb.com.png Source

    As for the plot…

The story takes place in a Japan cornered by beasts of different shapes and sizes that wreak havoc wherever they go; these monsters are known as Kaijus, and one of them ravages the village of little Hibino Kafka, the protagonist of this story, who, upon witnessing such an event, promises to enter the Defense Corps and defeat these abominable creatures.

However, to his misfortune, over the years he fails the tests and works as a Monster Sweeper, who is basically in charge of cleaning up the mangled bodies of the kaiju. In that, they put him as a partner to Reno Ichikawa, a young man who also dreams of being in the Defense Corps; both being badly injured after encountering a Kaiju, are taken to the hospital where, by strange thing, a mini kaiju is introduced in Kafka, which makes him one of them, but with his consciousness intact, so will our protagonist get into the defense corps despite becoming a kaiju? And that, being already 32 years old is his last chance to achieve his dream.

    Personal opinion

When I saw the synopsis, where they pointed out the existence of kaiju it attracted me, because I like the Godzilla and the titans of the pacific movies (more the first one than the second one) what made me give it a chance to watch it and I don't regret it, it's the kind of story that you want it to be the next week to see the continuity of the chapter, because it left you with that feeling of wanting more. It has a little bit of everything, non-stop action, drama, humor, easy to empathize with character design and I love the faces Kafta makes when he's in kaiju mode, I can't stop laughing.

What can I say about the opening and ending? The truth is I love the songs, One republic always with good music and I had never heard YUNGLUD, I still play that intro, which, if I saw that it was very criticized its animation, because of how computerized it felt, but, I liked it, it felt different from what has been seen, well, that's how I see it. As for the story and its characters, Kafta definitely ends up attracting you, the layers of complexity that he brings after becoming a humanoid kaiju, how he fights to achieve his dreams come true and how he doesn't lose his essence throughout the plot, I would consider it an original detail, added to the fact that he is not the typical young protagonist, so we could feel identified with him, in the way we feel that time passes and we still do not reach our goals, however, he makes you understand that it is never too late, things can happen in the way you least think it can happen, to him it was to become one of those beasts.

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093315_www.imdb.com.png Source

    Positive points…

-A story that is not so complex, but brings action, loaded with emotions.
-A protagonist with whom you can identify.
    -A plot that engages.
    -Good animation and music.

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093351_www.imdb.com.png Source

    Negative points…

-It does have that shonen cliché, about the archetype of the protagonist who is an ordinary character becomes someone with extraordinary abilities, but, to be honest, it doesn't bother me, I have seen many cliché stories and it is inevitable, we will always take inspiration from other things, the important thing is that you enjoy what you are watching or reading and, in particular, I had a lot of fun with this story, I had a good time without an anime that intrigued me like that, apart from Kusuriya.

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093425_www.imdb.com.png Source

    Score I give it…

    9/10 Story │ 9/10 Animation │ 10/10 Sound │ 9/10 Character design │ 9.5/10 Overall.

The relationships between the characters are refreshing and how each one accepts the particularities of the other. In itself, Kaiju No. 8 brings a unique premise that pays tribute to all those productions that refer to these creatures, has action, is fun and grabs you from the first episode, an enjoyable work without a doubt so you will not regret giving it a look.

    REVIEW (1).jpg

    Kaiju No. 8 (怪獣8号)…

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093122_www.imdb.com.png Fuente

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093315_www.imdb.com.png Fuente

    Puntos positivos…

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093351_www.imdb.com.png Fuente

    Puntos negativos…

    Opera Instantánea_2025-03-25_093425_www.imdb.com.png Fuente

  12. Kaiju No. 8/ The protagonist who earned his team's respect@actioncats472d

    Review.png

Source/ Image edited with ToomMe and Canva/ Imagen editada con ToomMe y Canva

Taking advantage of the time available and also the fact that I have turned my husband into another anime lover, I have been looking for options to watch, but sometimes there are so many that you have to decide on something and already, or you will spend half a day just choosing, a few days ago I leaned towards something after having seen other movies and anime related to the theme of the Kaijus.

    Kaiju No. 8

The anime focuses on Japan, which is very often attacked by creatures called Kaijus, to the point that special forces have been created to defend against the appearance of these creatures, this is the glamorous part, the heroes and then there are those who could be called the cleanup crew, known as Monster Sweeper.

    image.png

    Source

In this cleaning corps works our protagonist, Kafka Hibino a man of over 30 years who has tried a lot of opportunities to enter the Defense Corps, but is always failed, the intention is, in addition to fighting against the Kaiju, fulfill the promise he made to his childhood friend Mina Ashiro, who is now an outstanding captain, but by failing so many times he has given up, until Reno Ichikawa joins the Monster Sweeper and everything changes, because he encourages him and after they both manage to survive the attack of a residual kaiju, he discovers that his new friend Kafka has become a kaiju.

Now, the truth is that this anime surprised me, because I thought I would be facing something more dramatic, an anime full of epic battles, something more serious and it turns out that although we do have many battles, there is also a lot of humor in the middle of everything and the least expected moments, which is lovely, because it makes you laugh with the witticisms and actions of certain characters.

    image.png

    Source

Something I also liked about the anime is that there are Kaijus of different sizes, until now I had only seen huge ones in movies and other anime, here we are presented with smaller ones and even as in the case of the main character they can look like humans until they decide to show their other side, also that the special type Kaijus are numbered according to their appearance and that is why our protagonist was called Kaiji No. 8, also the appearance after a kaiju of the so-called residual kaiju, which sometimes appear at the least expected moments, among other situations that are changing around these creatures as this first season progresses.

This anime is not the typical one in which the protagonist is an outstanding and perfect fighter, on the contrary, he is a mess, chubby and weak, and must fight against his perception of himself and the one that his companions have about him, because they see him as an old man for being over 30 years old, and a weakling who has nothing to contribute, but having a great empathy, teamwork and a great knowledge of the kaiju for his years as a worker of Monster Sweeper, he manages to win the affection and trust of his entire group.

    image.png

    Source

Some things, as in all anime, make us noise and will be clarified throughout the seasons. For example, why did the Kaiju that transformed him say it had found him, does he have something special and that's why they looked for him to transform him, how is it that he manages to stay human and his Kaiju side does not dominate his being, what makes him so strong as a Kaiju, what makes him so strong as a Kaiju?

As for the animation is not the typical one in which we usually see the characters and outlined with features in which the Asian beauty ideals are sought, rather they are more like children's animation (rounded) and highlight some expressions, characteristics and features in the characters in a more natural way.

Finally, after the end of this first season I am anxious to know what the second season will bring, obviously there is the possibility of looking for the manga or YouTube summaries, which are often desperate depending on who narrates them, but already in July we will have the second season available, as you know you can watch this anime in online anime pages or in the streaming platform Crunchyroll.

  13. Reseña anime/manga: Kaiju No. 8 // Anime/manga review: Kaiju No. 8@presidentx587d

    image.png Fuente

A few weeks ago I came across this anime on Crunchyroll, I liked it so much that I decided to keep up with the manga. I've finished the anime and I've read what's available of the manga, that's why I decided to write this review. The manga is created by Naoya Matsumoto. The anime is developed by Production I.G. and its directors are Shigeyuki Miya and Tomomi Kamiya.

Synopsis: In a Japan that is attacked by kaiju, giant monsters, lives Kafka Hibino. He is a 32-year-old man who has failed several times to serve in the defense corps, charged with fighting the kaiju. It is on a working day, and after saving a colleague, that a kind of monster enters his body. From that moment on, he becomes Kaiju No. 8, and with it the responsibility to use his new abilities for good.

    image.png Fuente

An addition to the synopsis, is that Kafka seeks to fulfill an old promise with an old friend, and a divisional captain Mina Ashiro, to meet again in the defense corps. It is a series that mixes the action of various battles, with the development of the characters, starting with the protagonist but ranging from comrades, captains and even enemies.

The mix comes out well, and somehow feels fresh because of the age of the protagonist, changing the dynamics a bit. It has a lot of comedy, and the world of the characters unfolds bit by bit.

In the anime, of only 12 episodes, they manage to handle well the fact that at the end of each episode, they leave us with high expectations for the next one, always wanting to know more. The animation is excellent, and the music tries with English artists, to my taste they work, having for me, one of the endings of the year.

In the manga, we already have a more developed story, but we also begin to see bad points, such as the delaying of certain missions, making that in many chapters there is not much progress in the plot. In both media there is a positive feature, which is the design of the characters, quite distinctive.

For me this series aims to be one of the most popular in the coming years, especially if the anime maintains the quality shown in this first season. If you like the kaiju theme, you should not miss it.

    Calificación personal: 8 de 10.

Personal rating: 8 out of 10.

  14. Kaiju No. 8 | Nattosheru Review [ENG/SPA]@nattosenpai609d

    Nattosheru Review_20241106_203753_0000.png

Hello anime fans. Today I want to talk about one of the most popular and at the same time criticized anime of this year. That's right, one of the supposed "Future Promises of Shōnen" but with enough influence from genres like science fiction or the "Kaijū" subgenre that many of us know. This series has been such a huge success, either because of its huge audience or because of the incredible production quality behind it. While it's not one of the best anime I've seen this year, personally speaking, it does have a story and several moments that are to be appreciated, especially for my fanaticism to this type of anime. Based on the homonymous manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto, this anime adaptation was produced by the famous studio Production I.G (the same studio that produced masterpieces such as Tengoku Daimakyou). With a total of 12 chapters, this anime has an excellent amount of action, comedy, incredible battles and monsters that any lover of the genre seeks to see. An anime that promised a lot, but managed to deliver at least entertaining us with a somewhat different story. Stay to know one of the anime that have given more to talk about in this 2024 and you can find it already available on the Crunchyroll platform.

    Plot

The anime takes us to a Japan that is constantly invaded by "Kaijus" (or Monsters for Americans) creatures of different sizes and shapes that appear out of nowhere to cause chaos and destruction. Because of this, this country of the rising sun has two organizations: The Defense Corps, which is made up of a group of people specialized in putting an end to these monsters; and the "Monsters Sweepers", an organization dedicated to "dirty work", that is, cleaning up the corpses and remains of the monsters that are annihilated. Our protagonist is none other than Hibino Kafka, a 32-year-old man who works cleaning monster corpses and who has a frustrated dream of being part of the Defense Corps, something he tried to accomplish long ago, but has not achieved no matter how much effort he put into it since he was a child. That's why he resigned himself to work for life cleaning up the mess left behind by the Defense Corps. However, a young temporary employee gives him the motivation and inspiration he needs to go back and try to be part of the Defense Corps once again. That and a small flying monster that swallowed him after a series of events, turning him into a kind of super powerful Kaijū.

    Trama

    Trailer & Review

Next, I will leave you the trailer of the anime:

Talking about this anime generates mixed feelings in me, both because of the huge amount of reviews I have heard and read about it since long before it was aired and also because of the same huge amount of praise and positive reviews I have also heard about this anime. While it is true that it is not one of the best anime in the action/sci-fi genre out there today, it is certainly one of the most famous. This is curious since it always happens with the "Shōnen" anime of which there is a lot of talk, at least most of it. It is true that in terms of story, this anime has one or another detail that makes it different from most, being the case of the protagonist, for example. There is also the issue of animation, which is one of the best works this studio has done (although many think otherwise). Finally, as for the main point or objective that this anime has, which is to entertain and capture the viewer, it fulfills it very well, honestly. With plot twists, battles, demonstrations of power and character development very well done, it is hard not to speak well of this anime, personally.

    hello@reallygreatsite.com_20240825_182859_0000 (1).png

Let's start talking about the plot of this anime, which revolves around our protagonist, Hibino Kafka, a 32-year-old man who since childhood dreams of becoming a member of the Defense Corps and thus end all the Kaijus that exist. The origin of this dream or desire is justified by having had a very tragic childhood, as did a woman of his age who, since they were young, made a promise that will drive him to never give up. Up to this point we can identify a little with the protagonist, being the typical character that can easily become dismissable from the beginning, but in the end ends up giving us a very good lesson of perseverance. Although he does not stand out for having a good condition, nor the expected youth to be part of an elite of people trained to kill monsters, this does not stop him to keep trying. It is here where the plot starts to get a little complicated when a monster in the form of a talking insect enters the body of our protagonist and gives him a transformation that makes him equal or even stronger than a high-ranking Kaiju. This makes him a danger to humanity, as well as the main target to exterminate from the very Defense Corps he wants to be a part of.

This kind of twists we see in the plot is what manages to capture the viewer, staying to see more to find out what will happen next. One thing to note is that the protagonist is not the typical boy prodigy who has superhuman power and manages to defeat his enemies without so much effort. Hibino Kafka, on the other hand, is a character with whom we can easily feel identified while laughing and having fun with his way of being and his behavior. Sure, at the end he ends up with an incomparable power, out of nowhere, as it always happens in all these action anime, which takes away points in originality, if you ask me. But we can't complain at the end about our protagonist because of how he is. Also that his situation prevents him from being able to use said power to his advantage always without drawing attention to himself, which he uses as an excuse for us not to call him just another protagonist in the Shōnen world. What's more, as the chapters go by we see how this one develops to the point of becoming a special and very valuable member for human survival, that's right, being a Kaiju, which is curious. On the other hand, the secondary characters comply well with giving us a variety of faces that are part of a team that always seeks to improve and strive to stand out from the others. Here we see that the only thing in which they are compared is in that ambition to be stronger and stronger, but in the end the ones that really stand out are one or another that is directly related to the protagonist on a frequent basis.

Leaving aside the fact that the anime received strong criticism for this, let's talk now about the technical work it has. As for the animation, I'm not complaining, it's very good and stands out from most anime, to be honest. While there are many who criticized the design of the characters, comparing them with those of the Manga, I as a complete ignorant of the subject and watching it without knowing anything else, I liked the design of each one. But I admit that it is not one of the best works that Production I.G. has done in terms of character design, so I don't give it many points for that. Otherwise, the action scenes, battles and encounters that this anime has are very well done, especially because they took great care to use the minimum of CGI in both characters and monsters. Likewise, the mix of planes, fluidity and details in 2D with 3D sites was quite well done. It is one of those works that can be appreciated quite a lot with certain outstanding moments of this anime. And adding to this, let's talk about the sound effects, which are very, very well done, especially with the theme of explosions, which is most remarkable. The soundtrack is another valuable and important point to mention, being indispensable in most of the unforgettable scenes that this anime has, which generate that feeling of euphoria and excitement at every moment. But the most remarkable of all is both the Opening and the Ending, being both made by artists and bands from America and not from Asia (being my favorite the Ending song made by the famous band One Republic), something that almost never happens. Otherwise, there is not much to say, since being a Shōnen anime it has nothing remarkable beyond what I have already mentioned. Otherwise, it's an anime worth watching if you want to have a good time and little else.

Personally, I give it a rating of 8.5/10 as far as the action, sci-fi and supernatural genre is concerned.

Hello to all fans of good stories, friends of The Anime Realm. I hope you are feeling great today... this time I want to share with you my opinions about the anime Kaiju No. 8. This anime seemed interesting at first because of the trailers and the world it presented, so I decided to give it a chance and it ended up hooking me more than I thought... It brings us a proposal, let's say “refreshing” in the genre of humans against monsters... With a twist that combines the classic kaiju battles we are used to seeing in movies, and also a surprisingly good dose of humor. The anime mixes intense action with various comic relief, and the occasional touching moment...I feel that's what makes it stand out above some other apocalyptic fighting or armies vs. monsters series...as it's a series that feels pretty light-hearted. When I started watching this anime I was expecting a simple, adrenaline-filled series without much soul, but after the first few episodes it left a pretty strong impression on me...
I think one of the most outstanding features of this series is its protagonist: Hibino Kafka... this man is not your typical anime protagonist, instead of being a teenager fresh out of high school or an extremely handsome guy. Kafka is a middle-aged man in his mid-30s or so, and that makes him quite a different and more relatable character in a different way. He is a guy who has already faced many disappointments... he currently works as a kaiju wreck cleaner, while his real dream has always been to be part of the defense force... To be one of the mighty ones, so to speak, those who fight directly against the beasts and are seen as heroes.... But clearly, as in most stories, life has not been kind to him at all, and it's a bit sad to see someone clinging to a dream that seems to have been left behind with age.

It's a type of story that while it has certain cliché aspects typical of shonen, it shows something more unique in terms of personality, at least for me.... I think usually in other series we always see young characters trying to show off, and here, well, while they do feature young people with attractive designs, they are never the real central focus.. you can feel a human connection in the main character's regrets and despair... Everything suddenly changes when Kafka gains an unexpected ability, transforming into a kaiju...this is a somewhat typical premise, the typical protagonist who ends up transforming into a monster...but it feels different somehow....
We are introduced to a character with immense power, but who is caught between two worlds, the humans he wants to protect and the monsters he now belongs to without him even wanting to. This creates an internal conflict that drives the story in an interesting way.. we get to see him deal with this power and try to prove that he is a valuable member of the defense force.. despite technically being the very thing they fight against and hate so much.

Visually, Kaiju No. 8 is pretty decent, the animation quality is solid, especially in the fight scenes, they look great. The Kaijus are well designed, each with somewhat different characteristics and abilities that keep the fights interesting and exciting, plus, there is a weight to the animation that makes the fight sequences feel interesting, for example, every time Kafka changes Kaiju form and throws different punches, it feels very cool... Production IG did a great job balancing the traditional 2D style with some 3D elements for some Kaijus, creating a visual aesthetic that feels imposing, without falling too much into awkward CGI flaws, it looks pretty good.
Another aspect that stands out, obviously, is the humor, Kafka's character is quite funny.. despite his serious goals, he has a goofy side that makes the combination of humor and action work surprisingly well. There is a constant back-and-forth between Kafka's determination and obviously all his absurd antics, which makes him an endearing character.... Also, the series doesn't take itself too seriously all the time, this life or death situation the soldiers go through, which helps to have a nice change of pace, for example, it's quite funny some scenes where Kafka tries to hide his identity and ends up in absurd situations.. You can also notice this in the different jokes he makes with his squad, all this funny feeling makes you feel entertained without getting too separated from the tension of the main plot....

I also found the secondary characters interesting, although sometimes some of them fall into the typical stereotypes. We have Kafka's young colleague Ichikawa Reno, who is a talented but inexperienced rookie who greatly admires the protagonist despite his previous failures... Then of course we have Mina Ashiro, Kafka's childhood friend, who actually managed to become everything she wanted as a child, and right now is the captain of the defense force, embodying everything Kafka wishes she could have been... their dynamic adds depth to the story, especially since this girl, while respecting Kafka's dreams, is also a ruthless leader who won't give any kaiju an easy victory, her presence pushes our protagonist to try very hard, making their relationship one of the most interesting parts of the series.
If I had to point out any negative point in this story, I would say that this anime doesn't venture too much to explore new territories in terms of narrative themes, the story of a world devastated facing impossible obstacles and fighting against great monstrous threats is not something new, we have seen it many times in well-known anime, and while the kaiju theme has not been fully explored, sometimes it seems like you know what is going to happen, and it's kind of sad to get exactly right everything you think is going to happen. It doesn't have that wow factor that I would have liked to find here, but hey, I feel like it still offers a fun and exciting experience.
One of my favorite aspects when watching this anime was the development of some of the characters, for example, Kafka is not the only one who grows over time... We will also see Reno finding his place in the defense force and trying to fulfill his own aspirations, we also see many other characters trying to be better, like Shinomiya and Mina, both of whom have some appreciation for Kafka in different ways... In certain parts the viewer really worries about what is going to happen to these characters, and the climax comes when the inevitable revelation of Kafka's identity appears....

The soundtrack is another thing I liked a lot about this anime... it's a mix of music with a lot of energy for the battles, and certain more melancholic and reflective pieces at other times in the series, that accompany the more emotional moments. I loved the opening, it's great, and it may seem a bit simple, but the visuals and the song stuck with me.... Also the ending is amazing, featuring the performance of a well known band, which is One Republic, it brings a certain introspective atmosphere... it's a pretty good song. I think overall Kaiju No. 8 is a fun to watch and entertaining series, it has the action and spectacle you would expect from a shonen, but it also has heart and humor.
Kafka is a protagonist that stands out a lot, precisely because he's not your typical young hero, and his journey can be very inspiring, and many people may identify with him.. obviously, the story may not be revolutionary, but it's told with a certain charm and energy that it's easy to get swept up in it. My rating for this anime would be a solid 8.5/10. It's not perfect, obviously... there are moments where the pacing feels off, and the world building could have been a lot deeper and more interesting, but we're just watching the first season, it can all get better, it can become more interesting and entertaining... clearly, some battles were certainly cool to watch. Surely, fans of action and comedy will be more than satisfied, and well, I hope you liked this review. I hope you liked this review, I'll see you in the next ones, take care, I'll leave the opening down here. Bye bye.

Bye bye.

  16. Kaiju No. 8. It exceeded my expectations@irenenavarroart701d

I'm kind of nostalgic by nature, so I'm always drawn to watching anime that are already a few years old, that for one reason or another I couldn't finish watching at the time or because I simply didn't see them in time, so it's hard for me to give a new anime a chance, plus I'm anxious so I don't like to wait for new seasons to come out, but this week I was in a state of intense emotional downturn so I decided to give Kaiju N°8 a chance and it really exceeded my expectations.

    [Source](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt21975436/)

Kaiju No. 8 has a rather simple plot so far, since only the first season has come out and not knowing the content of the manga I can’t say that things will always be like this, since the plot could stop being simple in the future, what I can say is that it is a very funny story and this fulfilled my goal of watching an anime that would lift my spirits and make me laugh after a long time without doing so.

The plot takes place in Japan, where attacks by monsters called Kaijus are frequent. It is not yet revealed where these beings, which can vary in size and destructive abilities, come from, but the country is prepared with a defense corps, which is something like an armed force specialized in exterminating the Kaijus, and in turn is responsible for the investigation of these monsters, as well as the development of new technologies to create increasingly effective weapons to exterminate them. They also have emergency protocols so that the population can evacuate cities when there is a Kaiju alert.

In that environment we meet the protagonist of the story, who is a 32 year old man named Kafka Hibino, he works in the specialized corps for cleaning the city after the defense corps has exterminated the Kaiju, that is, they are in charge of handling the corpses of the monsters, which is a very difficult and important job, but by nature of it goes unnoticed by people who generally feel admiration only for the heroic acts of the defense corps, but our protagonist always wanted to belong to the defense corps but after trying many times he gave up when he could not pass the admission tests.

Our resigned friend spends his days doing his job without much change, until he meets a new cleaner, a young man named Reno Ichikawa who is determined not to stay in that job but instead hopes to take the entrance exams for the defense corps and he informs Kafka that they have raised the age limit for entry, so he motivates him to make one last attempt to enter the defense corps.

    [Source](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaiju_No._8)

But things get complicated when both suffer an attack while doing their job and end up in the hospital, Kafka remembering the promise he made to his childhood friend who is now the general of the defense corps, decides he wants to try again to be admitted, but in that situation a Kauji appears and enters Kafka’s body and he transforms into a Kaiju, but he doesn’t lose his human consciousness, on the contrary he doesn’t know what to do with his new form and this is quite funny, I would like to be able to tell you what happens next but I think it would be great if you saw it so you can laugh as much as I do.

The name Kafka seems great to me because it is an obvious reference to the tale of Metamorphosis written by Franz Kafka where the protagonist transforms into a large beetle, that is why the transformation of Kafka Hibino is something very fantastic knowing the name they gave to the protagonist, I really loved this first season, because everything that happens afterwards is relating to how Kafka Hibino has to deal with his new body, his powers and at the same time with the idea of fulfilling the dream of his life and belonging to the defense corps to exterminate Kaijus being a Kaiju 😅. I highly recommend this anime if you want to see something entertaining, according to what I read in some articles it is expected that by 2025 they will make a new season and I will be attentive to this ☺️

Kaiju No. 8 has become one of the most notable anime of 2024

    SOURCE

In a world where giant monsters known as Kaijus threaten human existence, a group of brave warriors rise to fight this threat, among them our protagonist Kafka Hibino, a Kaiju cleaner who, by chance of fate, changes his life when he unexpectedly dies. becomes Kaiju No. 8, join me as I explore the most exciting and social moments of this first season, discovering how Kafka handles his new identity, the challenges he faces, and the epic battles he and his companions wage. Without further ado, here is the complete summary of Kaiju number eight season one. This story begins in Japan. In the near future, where gays are as common as insecurity in many parts of the world. While these monsters are still major threats, our heroes' defense efforts do everything they can to stop them.

Here we meet Kafka Hibino, part of the defense effort. Well, not as such because he is basically in charge of cleaning up every mess, with dashed dreams and no hope, Kafka does his part of the job. He does everything in his power to help. However this changes when he and his new partner are attacked by a residual kaiju. The joju is grotesque and dangerous anyway, Kafka shoots out twice before pushing the young man so that he doesn't dodge it, Kafka orders him to call for help.

This shows his courage, bravery, and ability to think quickly. Unfortunately, that was not enough. A moment of hesitation and the jojo hurts him. He almost becomes critical before Reno steps in to save her. Reno is able to hold him off until a cannon blast completely eliminates the joju in a single shot.

It turns out that Mina is the one who took that shot. This is the last thing Cafka sees before passing out. Although he manages to survive the attack, his life is about to change. When a little monster gets inside him and turns him into the thing he hates most in this world: a Kaiju. Like Kafka Hibino suddenly transforming into Yu, things only get complicated, now you must escape if he doesn't want Fensa's body and her friend to capture him.

    01.png

    SOURCE

While Kafka is lamenting the fact that it's impossible to fulfill his dream now, damn Yu shows up in town. Thus, our protagonist is presented with a great dilemma, either he accepts his reality and escapes from him, or he decides to do something with his new power, and with his power he destroys the Kaiju, saving everyone. Two things become clear to Kafka: one, he is capable of protecting others and two, now his dream is closer than ever. So three months have passed after that incident and both Cap and Reno pretend that nothing happened. The defense force is desperate to find the monster so they have decided to assign it a number, this shows how desperate they are.

A few months have passed and Kafka has more or less learned to control his power. Both he and Renault have begun tests to join the defense corps. The first one has already passed and the second is about to begin. This is where we meet Ki Kikoru Shinomiya, an aspiring Strange who already seems to be giving our boys a lot of problems. The second test to join the defense corps has begun. After a rigorous physical examination where Kafka proved to be the worst of all the candidates, the hunters prepare for a real battle, but first they are equipped with special suits to hunt monsters. These suits made of the Kaiju themselves provide them with the necessary power to face them.

If it came, it once again turns out to be a total Astra. Thus our heroes embark on their first confrontation against Kaijus. Our boys little by little manage to make their way with their great experience. Unfortunately with those things you never know, a fucking Kaiju appears out of the blue attacking Casca, putting aside Jimino's true bad luck, the situation brings out his courage and desire to move forward despite the circumstances. He has even been seriously injured and yet he prefers to remain on the battlefield rather than retreat.

This tells us how willing he is to fulfill his dreams. After all, this is his last chance, not to mention that Mina is fine with everything. Fortunately Kikouru appears saving him and allowing him to continue on the battlefield. And I don't know about you, but I saw Kikiccolo actually saw it with other weapons. John, did you see?

After being saved by Kikou Shinomiya, our protagonist moves on. With the help of Renault he manages to finish the exam. Notice that the girl turns out to geo rate all the kaijus and even fucked the main kaiju. This is when a strange kaiju appears out of nowhere, neutralizing the defense force's best candidate in seconds, and just when the kaiju was about to overpower her, Hibino in Kaiju mode appears, saving her and proving to be the strongest Kaiju of all. At the end of the day there was no major damage, shinomiya and the boys too.

Well, at least Reno because based on his results, he is not eligible to join. They were already sending him back to his house when Kochila, satisfied with him, recognizes that she has talent and offers to train. After talking with Kikoru and about what would happen if he was discovered, Hibino does not take a step back, he remains firm, let's hope it's worth it because his first mission is about to begin.

After officially joining the defense corps, Hibino and Reno's first mission has begun. It turns out that a dangerous kaiju has appeared out of nowhere, causing chaos and destruction throughout the city. Don't worry, our heroes have arrived. While the rookies take care of the little Kaijus, Mina like the badass she is takes care of the main Kaijus, after Mina shows why she is the captain of the third division by defeating the main Kayu, this produces a new conglomeration of residual streets , which generate a great challenge for the newbies who in their first mission are being pressured because thanks to Mina's incredible attack a new wave of residual streets was generated, there the reindeer was searching when he suddenly sees a strange cleaning worker . Hey Don, it's not safe to be here and he tells Reno.

    02.png

    SOURCE

Ah, but what he didn't know was that in front of him was Kaiju 9. Since this strange Kaiju appeared some time ago, it has raised many questions. Who is it? Where does it come from? What are his plans?

Everything about him is broken side of intrigue and mystery. When the hostile creature appears and prepares to attack, changing into its true form, one thing becomes clear. He's not playing. The fact that he reveals himself to these two rookies in front of him is because he is not willing to let Carlos be, here Renault confirms what we already suspected all this time. This monster is actually a Kaiju, with the ability to transform into a human, Well, it turns out that damn Kaju has blocked communications in the entire area. He mentions that they are in some sort of dead zone. Communications are down and now the hunters will be married. No matter how much he tries to make sure there is no more, he can't hit Reno. He dodges all of his attacks, as the situation overcomes him, Reno finds it necessary to pay tribute to Jiminor in the first episodes, he asks Iharu to escape and ask for help.

While he keeps the creature at bay. Noni Mergasti broke up because he is already fed up with everyone knowing it all the time. First Captain Shiro, now she laughs and just when the kaiu surprised Renault with a new attack and Haru saves his life. He unfortunately gets hurt in the process. But not everything is bad, he manages to launch a flare in the form of help.

It doesn't matter, says the Kaiyu, nothing can enter or leave without me giving the order. With no other option, the rookies decide to face the powerful Kaio. The reindeer was praying to the Virgin of Guadalupe to aim at him and just when she was about to give him a good blow, the crafty Kaiju uses the bodies around him to cover himself and then attack them. Meanwhile we see Hoshino's team being alerted that both Renault and Karu are not responding. If Kikoru came in hell, he understands the situation, they know they are in danger.

When everything seemed lost when the kaiju manages to corner our rookies, we can see Renault and Hiharu accept the reality, they will not be able to get out of this. There was Lijaro asking Diosito to help his friend when suddenly a stumbling man, Hyvino Pechos para los Cafka, appears in Kaiju mode and in one fell swoop cuts off his head. Ah, we all say! Up with the gentlemen, down with the crafty ones. Xivino is in this literal mode, don't even pray to him because it's me. 03.png

Will Hibino manage to get out of this? After having beaten Kaiju number nine, Hibino, he now has to face the vice captain of the third division. It's a difficult fight for our busty man as he must choose between prioritizing his life or Yoshida's. Hibino manages to survive in the end leaving Hoshino quite distraught. Come to think of it, there are some particular reasons why I find Kaillo number nine absolutely interesting as the main villain of the series.

On the one hand, there's a sad story about him where the main character, I'm looking to dig deeper to maybe bring to the surface that good that's within him. I like my villains to be just them. There are villains who are evil to the core and can still be written well. This applies to anime, movies, video games, etc. Not all antagonists need to be someone we feel sorry for, number nine is a mushroom-shaped creature covered in thorns that hates humans and is also intelligent.

He is able to make decisions to avoid attention, he is even so bold as to make a new face change, now that his identity was exposed. I'm glad the main villain isn't a human who wants to use Kaiju to destroy the world or something. Having a kayu that quickly adapts to the world it finds itself in and becomes even more powerful with every second that passes is an exciting threat in this type of world and the biggest mystery in all of this is that we don't know for sure the Kaiju Nine's true motives at this point, adding to the series' growing mystery with a touch of horror

    Kafka Hibino

The Man Who Became A Kaiju

    SOURCE

Vice Captain Soshiro Hoshina does what he can to stop kaiji number ten, unleashing maximum power, Hoshina finally manages to fillet the damned kaiju. We all say God, but son of his mother, a gigantic bomb appears in the sky threatening to explode the entire base. Run the egivine! Run, Kafka has transformed into Kayu, in a flash he sends the bomb flying saving everyone, however that was all. Our busty man sacrificed what he wanted most in order to save his friends, his identity has now been discovered and his little pout in Captain Shiro threatens to put him in the drum. After the total revelation of Hivino Kafka as Caillo number eight, they put our sinful man in the boat.

Yes, man, and Sausshinomiya the boss of bosses asks for Kaka's transfer to take charge of him personally. All of his friends, including his little girl, support him. And they hope he returns soon. Jennifer barracks, laki Corru talk to her dad, come on boss, stop my purchase. Here he is going to go back.

To notice it turns out and Sao reveals that Hivino is no longer a human. He has become Kayu and it's his turn. So our chests have been ripped off by two men. Correle and Sao is a goat. She forces Kafka to become Kayutte, but Mockus.

What Izao and Cafka himself did not count on is that he loses total control of his body. The little Kaiju that transformed him has taken control of Wine unleashing his ultimate power. The fierce battle between our busty men continues. Cafka has lost complete control of key eight. Giving tremendous shit to the director.

And just as he was orphaning Kikou, Kiri doesn't remember her Morray, and manages to stop the Kaiju. Elizao decides to set up an emergency meeting to discuss what the hell to do with Jibino, the higher-ups were there wanting to turn him into a weapon that should not be experimented on, here the director makes a decision and decides to give him a chance by joining the defense corps. Ah, we all say! Up to the trainton lords, down to the kingdoms. Ah, but it won't be that easy, and Saw emphasizes that this is his only chance.

He must prove his worth as there is no room for mistakes. Come on, I don't know like that, total father-in-law. The news quickly spreads like wildfire, all of his friends are relieved with the decision, especially Nina and Kikor. Oh, oh! How small is the capka, do we say everything?

All. Oh, yes, right, at the end we are shown the fucking Kaiju number nine, completely renewed and with a desire to recover what the humans stole from him. What exactly is he referring to? Will Jimino decide on a chop? That and more the second season of Kayu number eight.

With the official announcement of season two we have nothing left but to wait anxiously for a premiere date. Considering that season one adapted a good number of chapters from the manga, we could expect the new season to cover new important events and subsequent story arcs. As I mentioned before, we would be about to enter the Kaio Weapon arc. Focusing on the new weapons and technologies developed to combat these monsters, as well as the challenges and missions that Kafka faces in the first division under the leadership of Naruge, with the introduction of new and more powerful Kaiju threats the entrepreneurs will be more intense and strategic . Cafka's ability to control his powers will be crucial to overcoming the se years' challenges. a.png.

    Reno Ichikawa

    A Passionate Defense Force Hopeful

Taking into account that the typical anime production cycle usually lasts between nine and twelve months from confirmation to premiere, we could expect season two to premiere approximately a year after its completion, that is, more or less by these dates, but this is nothing more than an estimate since it depends on multiple factors. After a season full of incredible moments, Kaijus and a lot of action, episode twelve, the season finale closes perfectly, tying up some loose ends and setting the stage for an inevitable season two. In summary, season two of Kaiju number eight could bring many emotions and developments both in the plot and in the characters, in addition to bringing simply epic moments, so I would like to know what you thought of the season finale Kaiju No 8, and what are your expectations for the second season I'm @yoani and I'll see you next time.

  18. Kaiju No. 8 Review : A Must Watch Anime to Binge this Weekend@itznur722d

INTRO: Hey, My lovely friends of hive and the anime lovers. After a long time of absence, I am here to write something about a new anime. Actually I was so much busy with my life. So, I couldn’t be much active in hive last few weeks. My exams are going on. Still there are more exams. Despite of that, today I am here to express my opinion about the anime : Kaiju No. 8

    source

Sometimes I feel like this world 's tension, noise, drama, I wish I could go away from all this for a while and turn off my mind and enjoy something that doesn't give me additional tension. If you are looking for something like this. So I have brought for you The Perfect Anime to binge This Weekend. Anime Characters:

    source

    sourc

That Day When the Stars started Falling. No no, this is not a light hearted romantic comedy but it is definitely a comedy. This story is about a world where big monsters can come. They can change the map of your city by coming out from under the ground. There is devastation, death and tragedy all around. Our main character also gets the powers of the same monsters and then using these powers, he will fight these monsters and free the world from Titans. Is it wrong, Anime? But You Got The Just Right.

At Kaiju No. 8, Kaiju is a Japanese term that means giant monsters and typically this term is used to refer to Godzilla. Like it is associated with monsters, but now what is this number eight? Well, when our main character Kafka, oh sorry to bother you Mr. France Kafka, when a creature enters inside our main character Kafka and gives him the powers of kaiju, then he becomes quite a Transforms into a strong and powerful kaiju whose power level is much higher than normal kaiju, So that we have our overpowered MC for this action animations. In the eyes of humans, the more powerful he is, the greater the danger he poses. So powerful kaiju's reduction. These are rarely seen and can be handled only by Captains or Vice Captains of the Defense Force and from the human perspective, it is very important to neutralize such kaiju's as soon as possible.

Unlikely Some other shows where neither dreams are fulfilled nor the girl is found Kafka Hibino is a man in his early 30's The age where you should accept that you have now become an uncle and You are an uncle. he has to clean the dead bodies and pieces of cashews. His childhood dream is to work in the defense force, fight these giants and shoulder to shoulder with his childhood friend.

They can fight shoulder to shoulder without their titan powers Have no hope in the world You will see the keys of this animator Even leaving aside, it reminds me of a very strong parasite and at some places it was also giving me a jujutsu kind of feeling I Mean Essentially It's A Monster. And Monster Hunters Kind Of Show In Which jujutsu Kaisan, Demon Slayer, Attack On Titan And whatnot automatically counted.

But Despite That Some How This Show Was Able To Have Its Own Unique Identity. It features large-scale destruction and tragedy, but not the same kind of pain and trauma, nor does it feature overly complicated power systems like Jujutsu kaisen.

It's actually quite simple, but then it's also not Demon Slayer, because it Comedy is actually good. This show is pretty enjoyable. It neither confuses you nor gives you complicated emotions. And it is far away from sadness and depression. There is no connection Lads are not happy yet Turns out something was done in the next episode. This is an anime about fighting giant monsters chasing dreams in adversities and trying to make it there even if Kafka has to think differently to be useful to the team. And Compensator His Lack Of Strength And Skills Not Everything Has To Be Life Changing.

*If you want to see something which has action and is great for entertainment and doesn't make you wait then please watch Kaiju No. 8 * This is the end of this post. Thank you so much everyone for reading my post. I will be back soon.

  19. Kaiju No.8@steemychicken1739d

With all the composure I can muster, I believe this spring was one of the best anime seasons in history.

New titles, returns of old favorites, grand finales—we had it all.

However, what stood out with its overwhelming hype was Kaiju No. 8. It deserves every syllable of the praise it received.

Naoya Matsumoto's work is a beautiful, coherent, and careful amalgamation of beloved modern shonen tropes. Essentially, it's an Attack On Titan without the soul-crushing darkness. Not in a sense of copying, but in healthy inspiration and reasoning.

The premise is simple and understandable. In the modern world, there are monsters, the Kaiju, which are exterminated by an elite security force. With this base, the thread of excellent world-building unravels, highlighting the contemporary Japanese landscape with fantasy elements, featuring well-written characters you can not only relate to but understand their purpose beyond just filling the panels.

Beautiful artwork, humor, emotion, suspense. Kaiju No. 8 is deservedly one of the most popular manga in Japan right now, and its anime adaptation didn't make waves by accident.

Generally, after adopting the seasonal model, there has been a steep upgrade in animation, storytelling, pacing, and everything else. The old tropes of endless build-up are fading, and new approaches to storytelling are gaining ground. It might be safe to say that, if we aren't already, we're headed full steam ahead into a new golden age of anime.

Anime fans and non-fans alike, give it a chance. It won't disappoint you.

P.S. Unrelated to Kaiju, but I hope that when Boruto part 2 returns, it will also be in a seasonal format and not weekly.

P.S.2. I just binge read the manga in a day.

  20. Kaiju No. 8: An Unexpectedly Fun Story (Eng-Spa)@pannavi740d

    𝙺𝚊𝚒𝚓𝚞 𝙽𝚘. 𝟾

    FULL VERSION ESPAÑOL

This post is in Spanish and English. You can go to the post in English by clicking HERE

Happy Friday to everyone who makes up this amazing #TheAnimeRealm Community, today I want to give you my opinion about an anime that has become very popular and that I had not had the opportunity to see until recently. I will talk to you about Kaiju N° 8.

This anime is one of the most booming series of this year, besides the long-awaited season of Kimetsu No Yaiba. And the truth is that it didn't call my attention as such, but after reading some posts in this space describing such good opinions of it I said to myself: Ivanna, let's give it a chance, maybe it will be good.

Good? it's EXCELLENT! I caught up with it in the afternoon because of how great it is. The thing is that it grabs you from the first episode, it leaves you wanting to see more and the rating it has in several anime pages invites you to keep watching it.

I love series in which you get surprises with the main characters and you have no idea what will happen in each chapter. Kaiju N° 8 in a nutshell, is this kind of anime, loaded with touches of humor, drama, serious moments, incredible fights, and a very interesting plot.

I admit that each chapter had its own thing, several stole a few laughs from me at unexpected moments especially because of the very simple personality of the main character, he has simply stolen my heart Hibino, Kafka, who is an ordinary person who wants to fight alongside his beloved Ashiro, Mina whom he has known since he was a child.

But who are they fighting and why are they fighting? Well, in this universe there are giant monsters called Kaiju, they are about the size of Godzilla and appear from time to time to cause damage to the city of Japan, therefore there is a specialist body that is responsible for exterminating them using special suits that greatly increase their human strength.

This group is known as Defense Corps and well they put their lives at risk to eliminate the huge monster, but what happens after the specimen dies? Well, another task force arrives to clean up the mess left by the heroes of the city. They are called Sweepers and this is where our protagonist works.

As children both Kafka and Mina lived an experience that marked their lives and both decided to join the Defense Corps to fight against these Kaijus and along the way compete against each other to see who would become the strongest of them all. Unfortunately Kafka did not qualify at a certain point to work with them and had to choose to work cleaning up the remains of each Kaiju.

But don't worry, everything doesn't look so bad for our main character. This is a very special story of overcoming, Kafka has something different from other characters I've seen in different anime, and for me, he is unique both for his way of being and for his personality. He has strengths that most of us don't see but others do.

And like any good series, it also has secondary characters with super strong personalities that make them stand out, while they also steal your heart with their way of being, and in each chapter, you can see how friendship, appreciation, and brotherhood grows among all of them. For me, it is something very nice to see and I liked it a lot.

I thank all the HIVE users who were responsible for recommending this series, like you, I was delighted and I also recommend it to 💯%. The anime and manga are still on air. For now, it will only be 12 chapters, I hope more seasons will come soon. For my part I give it:

  21. Kaiju No. 8: Epic Battles & Funny Segments ~ Anime Review@vinzie1793d

Hello, it's another anime review that I've watched last night and I have fun watching it even though the anime is an ongoing and I'm excited with the next episode to be released this week. I stumbled upon this anime because It was the top 1 anime recommendation in my Netflix Account and I'm curious on why is this anime the top TV shows on my feed. So, I tried to watch this while laying down on my bed while preparing to sleep.

Author: Naoya Matsumoto Genre: Action, Adventure, Science Fantasy Status: Ongoing Anime

I've added the trailer for this anime so that you will get the idea about what is this anime.

    Story

The story is about Kafka Hibino & Mina Ashiro (Childhood friends) who wants to join in a subjugation team to become a member of the Defense Force and fight the monster called "Kaiju" who brought their world into chaos that many homes have been destroyed, people died, and countless of lives that are in danger.

Kafka, who is now a 32 and always failed to be part of the defense force because he always failed on his examination and he is now working as a cleaner or the clean-up crew of the "Kaiju" that has been defeated but Mina has become successful to become part of the defense force and she also became the captain of the defense force.

Kafka met a part time worker named Reno Ichikawa in his company of the clean-up crew who helps him to get into the defense force. While Kafka and Reno done cleaning up the Kaiju, they got ambushed by one of the Kaiju and they become injured then they went to a hospital to get treated. Kafka saw a small Kaiju and went into his mouth and he become a Kaiju himself...

    Spectacular Animation

The animation of this anime is spectacular. Every battles that they fight in the anime, it never fails me to amaze me. It's one of a kind animation and it's not just a simple animation just like other anime that I usually saw before because the hyped level that I got whenever I saw them fighting is increasing.

    Divider_Hive_black_red.png

    Unexpected Character Progress

I never knew that Kafka is a loveable character. I thought that Kafka is a boring character because he is old like he was 32 in that anime and I didn't though that he has a sweet side. After he became a Kaiju, he's got a charming character.

I laugh whenever he make a mistake from it while in a Kaiju form and a Kaiju is not a typical and lovable character but it's a badass character.

    Divider_Hive_black_red.png

    Scenes that I can't forget

While watching this, Kafka never fails to laugh and smile me because of his lovable and adorable in his own way. There are lots of scenes that are fun and some were action where Kafka fight with other Kaiju. But one scene that I can't forget is that while he was in the hospital and he became a Kaiju.

He was spotted by an old man passing on their room and then Kafka make a smile to the old man but the old man was terrified with Kafka even if Kafka smiles but the face of the Kaiju is terrifying.

    Similar Anime

There are similar anime like this one but there is a specific anime that I thought after watching the fourth and the latest episode of this. I think there is a similar anime which is "Fire Force", just like the fire force, that they will defeat the monster.

They are needed so that there will be no casualties with a twist of "One Punch Man" for Kafka because Kafka is pretty strong and he didn't knew that he was that strong. Kafka use his fist to defeat other Kafka's as of the latest episode of the anime.

    Divider_Hive_black_red.png

    Conclusion

As I've said, this anime is recommendable to watch because of these things that I've mentioned above. That is why "Kaiju no. 8" was on the first place for binged watch in Netflix because of the story and it's anime with cuteness overload for the main character.

I thought that I would not enjoy watching this anime but it turns out that It's one of the best anime in this season. I am also excited for the next episode of this anime because I want to see how Kafka will be part of the Defense Force and how he will be reunited by his childhood friend Mina. I won't read the manga yet because it might spoil me if I read the manga for this anime.

This anime is 10/10 that you can't expect the twist of events on this anime. I never thought I would laugh hard on the anime itself and my brother asked in the morning on why did I laugh so hard last night.
