ย Saludos a toda la gente linda que da vida a la comunidad de @cinetv. Les deseo a todos un excelente jueves. El dรญa de hoy quise aprovecharlo para compartir con ustedes por primera vez aquรญ y hablar un poco sobre una serie de ciencia ficciรณn que me encantรณ. Se trata de La Periferia. Si has leรญdo mis posts sobre pelรญculas y series, sabes que no me gusta hacer Spoilers.
ย Esta serie fue estrenada en el 2022 y cuenta con una sola temporada hasta el momento compuesta por 8 capรญtulos que duran alrededor de una hora. De entrada, sรณlo dirรฉ que esta ha sido una de las mejores series que he visto de Ciencia Ficciรณn que trata sobre viajes temporales.
ย Esta serie, estรก basada en la novela de William Gibson llamada El Perifรฉrico, escrita en el 2014. Debo decir que esta adaptaciรณn es bastante buena, no solo por una trama llevada de manera estupenda sino por tambiรฉn por los efectos visuales futuristas que con sรณlo ver su trรกiler ya te atrapa por su alto nivel de atractivo.
ย Otro aspecto que me gustรณ bastante fue el vestuario que se implementรณ a nivel de ropa futurista. Esto fue un extra que no me esperaba. Por lo que hace que cada capรญtulo de la historia se caracterice por una amplia cantidad de detalles que, sumados, hacen una obra de arte visual.
ย Pero a todo esto, ยฟde quรฉ se trata esta historia en sรญ? Sin dar detalles profundos, la trama que se desarrolla tiene como protagonista a Flynne Fisher interpretada por la fabulosa Moretz, quien lleva una vida mediocre en un pueblito del cual no puede escapar porque su madre estรก enferma. Sin embargo, nuestra protagonista es excelente con los videojuegos, sobre todo con los de realidad virtual.
ย Por lo que un dรญa, junto a su hermano decide probar un prototipo nuevo con un videojuego diferente de realidad virtual. Este prototipo fue enviado por una empresa que ofrece pagarles mucho dinero a medida que realicen pruebas con el dispositivo, por lo que no dudan en usarlo ya que necesitan cubrir gastos mรฉdicos para ayudar a mejorar la salud de su madre.
ย Pero ยฟquรฉ sucede cuando este prototipo no es sรณlo un videojuego sino un instrumento que se usa para tener una vista del futuro? ยฟun futuro distante con unos 70 aรฑos de diferencia? Esta es la trama en sรญ, que se desarrolla en la serie.
ย La trama entonces se puede decir que trata sobre viajes en el tiempo, por lo que es totalmente ficticio y un tema delicado de plasmar en una serie porque cualquier desliz puede ser catastrรณfico para que la historia se vaya a declive si se plantea de manera ilรณgica.
ย Es por eso que me gusta tanto este gรฉnero, el de ciencia ficciรณn y mรกs los que guardan relaciรณn con los viajes en el tiempo. He visto muchas pelรญculas y series de este tipo que resultaron ser excelentes y esta, definitivamente es una de ellas. Tanto me gustรณ que me provoca leer la novela para saber cรณmo termina.
ย Y es que lamentablemente su final queda abierto a lo que debiรณ ser una segunda temporada que de hecho estuvo aprobada por la gente de Amazon Prime Video, pero tras 6 meses de su lanzamiento se cancelรณ por la huelga que hubo de guionistas y productores de Hollywood. Hoy, aun no se sabe si habrรก una segunda temporada, yo espero que sรญ. Asรญ que de mi parte la recomiendo al ๐ฏ% y a su vez le otorgo su bien merecidas:

ย Greetings to all the beautiful people who give life to the @cinetv community. I wish you all an excellent Thursday. Today I wanted to take the opportunity to share with you for the first time here and talk a little bit about a science fiction series that I loved. It is about The Peripheral. If you've read my posts about movies and series, you know that I don't like to do Spoilers.
ย This series premiered in 2022 and has only one season so far consisting of 8 episodes that last about an hour. Right off the bat, I'll just say that this has been one of the best Sci-Fi series I've seen that deals with time travel.
ย It is based on the novel by William Gibson called The Peripheral, written in 2014. I must say that this adaptation is quite good, not only because of a great plot but also because of the futuristic visual effects that just by watching the trailer already catch you by its high level of attractiveness.
ย Another aspect that I quite liked was the costumes that were implemented on a futuristic clothing level. This was an extra that I did not expect. So it makes each chapter of the story characterized by an ample amount of details that, added together, make a work of visual art.
ย But what is the story itself about? Without giving away deep details, the plot that unfolds has Flynne Fisher played by the fabulous Moretz, who leads a mediocre life in a small town from which she cannot escape because her mother is ill. However, our protagonist is excellent at video games, especially virtual reality ones.
ย So one day, together with his brother, he decides to test a new prototype with a different virtual reality video game. This prototype was sent by a company that offered to pay them a lot of money as they test the device, so they do not hesitate to use it as they need to cover medical expenses to help improve their mother's health.
ย But what happens when this prototype is not just a video game but an instrument used to get a view of the future? A distant future some 70 years apart? This is the plot itself, which unfolds in the series.
ย The plot then can be said to deal with time travel, so it is entirely fictional and a delicate subject to capture in a series because any slip can be catastrophic for the story to go downhill if it is posed illogically.
ย That's why I like so much this genre, the science fiction one and more the ones related to time travel. I have seen many movies and series of this type that turned out to be excellent and this is one of them. I liked it so much that I'm eager to read the novel to find out how it ends.
ย And unfortunately its ending is open to what should have been a second season that was approved by the people of Amazon Prime Video, but after 6 months of its release, it was canceled due to the strike of scriptwriters and producers in Hollywood. Today, it is still unknown if there will be a second season, I hope so. So for my part, I recommend it to the ๐ฏ% and in turn, I give it its well-deserved:
