Bob was Mr. Incredible. He saved people and stopped criminals. Then superheroes were blamed for the destruction caused during their rescues, and suddenly everyone wanted them gone.
So the superheroes disappeared.
Bob got married to Helen, became a father and tried to live like an ordinary man. But let's be honest, the man was miserable. He wasn't satisfied with that life, and it was obvious. He kept looking for excuses to feel like Mr. Incredible again.
Then he got his chance.
A mysterious woman started giving him secret missions, and Bob jumped at it without thinking twice. He was finally back in action.
He had no idea that he was walking straight into a trap.
The person behind everything was Syndrome, and this guy was carrying a serious grudge. He used to admire Mr. Incredible and wanted to become his sidekick, but Bob rejected him. Instead of accepting it and moving on with his life, he turned that rejection into a full-blown revenge project.
And this wasn't some small revenge.
The man built a damn killing machine.
The Omnidroid was basically designed to destroy superheroes, and Syndrome kept improving it by sending superheroes against it. He was literally using their strength and abilities to make his robot stronger.
You see that syndrome wasn't just attacking superheroes directly. He was studying them, learning from them and eventually planning to make himself look like the hero after destroying them.
Meanwhile, Helen found out Bob had been lying to her.
And I can't even blame her for being angry.
This man was secretly running around fighting villains while his wife and children were sitting at home thinking he was doing his boring office job. Helen didn't waste time crying about it. She put on the suit and went after him.
And she took the children with her.
Trust Violet and Dash finally now, they got their chance to stop hiding.
Violet had been acting like an invisible ghost in her own family, while Dash was basically a walking disaster, he is just waiting for someone to make him run. The moment they were forced into action, they started showing what they could actually do.
Dash running through the jungle while being chased was insane. The boy wasn't even running anymore. He was basically teleporting with his legs.
And Violet?
She finally stopped being scared of herself.
Then the whole family got involved.
Bob couldn't handle everything alone, Helen couldn't do everything alone, and the children couldn't survive alone. They needed each other.
That robot was an absolute monster. Bob had already struggled against it, and now the whole family had to figure out how to destroy it before it destroyed them. And they actually did it. But Syndrome still had one more problem to deal with. Jack-Jack. I thought this baby was completely useless throughout the movie. Everybody was fighting for their lives while Jack-Jack was just sitting there looking innocent. Then Syndrome grabbed him. Big mistake. Jack-Jack suddenly started showing powers like the child had been hiding an entire superhero powers under his diaper. He turned into different forms, disappeared, caught fire and became a nightmare for Syndrome. In the end, Syndrome was defeated, the family survived and the Incredibles finally accepted that hiding their powers wasn't going to solve anything. Then the movie had the audacity to introduce another villain at the very end. The Underminer shows up like, "Oh, you thought you were done?" No. The family immediately gets ready for another fight. I Will stop here and review the 2 some other time. These is where the family dealt with umderminer.
