Pentaghast Fuera!

Hello Hive-Con friends, it's been a while since we've seen each other!
I hope you are enjoying your favorite anime this season, the truth is that I personally am having a great time watching Jujutsu Kaisen and Zom 100 (there are 5 chapters and I really like it a lot), but I have not yet started watching Bleach although it is one of my favorite anime, well, adult life does not always leave us time to see and do everything we want, however this time I come to talk about a manga that I read again recently and sincerely although the years go by I still like it: CLAYMORE

A little context please
You see, the first time I saw Claymore was in its anime adaptation, which a friend lent me her DVD (what a time those were) to watch it, the plot revolves around women who are half Yoma (demons) half human, which are responsible for protecting humanity from these same monsters, and to do so they use their Yoma powers and use a giant sword called CLAYMORE which is where the name of the anime comes from.
Our protagonist is Clare and as the series progresses we realize that she is the weakest of all the Claymore and her past, the point is that the anime adaptation does well to tell us the beginning of the story and a little of the progress of the protagonist, however, at that time the studio that adapted the manga to anime happened to him what happened to many studios at that time:
They ran out of budget.
They reached the manga and not having more content to work on, they invented it.
And what happened was both things, when they reached a certain point in the story, they invented two chapters in which nothing makes sense, and after that they finished the work with a very controversial and out-of-tone ending, quite bad.

The manga and its benefits
Obviously as you can imagine, I was surprised with that sudden cut and I even told my friend, I told her that I liked the series but that the ending was horrible, and she told me that the manga was still going on and I automatically went to read it, and friends I found gold hahaha.
I know that many people do not like to read manga for many reasons, but this manga is so well drawn and the content is so good that you read it and you can not help but think that you are watching an anime, but by frames for the quality it has, in addition to continuing the story that was left halfway in the anime.

Clare's story is quite tragic and one of the main reasons why I feel that the anime is very incomplete is that it does not fully show her character development, for example at the beginning of the work, I emphasize that it is not spoiler because it happens in the first episode, she begins to travel with a boy named Raki, which in the anime gets NOTHING of development, while in the manga we see a great growth in the character, as it is a central axis of the plot and one of the important people of Clare as the series progresses.
Something that I also really liked is to see the interaction with the other Claymore's in the manga, you can tell that each and every one of them has a motivation, different skills and goals to achieve, some are good and others of dubious morality.
Lots of action, little censorship

While it is true that many anime are quite slow when it comes to their fights, both in the anime and manga Claymore are very dynamic and explicit, there is enough GORE for those who enjoy it and as a warning to those who do not, it is not a manga/anime that has a lot of censorship, Personally I think it is excellent, because if the world of the work is full of monsters and warriors, it seems to me the most sensible thing to do, and I must clarify that I DO NOT LIKE GORE, in fact there are many works that as soon as I see the level of gore I abandon them.
The fights are frantic and visceral, they are a spectacle, also the range of skills of each of the Claymore's that we see in the work are very colorful and most creative.

In terms of censorship and its theme, the series has a very adult tone and as the series progresses, we see a number of quite interesting plot twists, apart from a quite elaborate world state development, here I must make mention to the manga, because in the anime this is treated very little.
The "villains" are really interesting.
Something that caught my attention is that although there are antagonists and villains in the work, each and every one of them have a pretty good background, lately I've seen that many works are manga or anime, put a villain who is only bad because he felt like it, or just put a vague excuse for it, but here the truth is that each one has his motivation justified to acceptable levels and I liked that a lot, because you get to empathize with many of them and others just hate them hahaha.

I want to make a mention to Isley, who, although he didn't have so many appearances, after knowing his background and past, I found him to be a really tough guy hahaha.
Read Mangas more often

I wanted to do this little review, because I recently got an excellent application to read manga on the mobile and this was one of the first manga that I read again and the truth is that it deserved its recognition for being such a good manga, at least in my opinion.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you give this work a chance, whether in anime or manga I recommend it, and even if you watch the anime I know you'll want to go to the manga hahahaha, anyway, I say goodbye and I wish you all the best! Pentaghast Out!
