Team arrow experiences a very eventful Thanksgiving after Agent Watson arrests Oliver, and John’s treatment fails while Black Siren and Cayden James stage another attack to blow up the city.
Okay, this was one seriously tense episode that leaves us with a lot f questions as to the future of the show and its characters this season. Oliver is once again arrested on counts of vigilante-ism and even arraigned in court, except this time, no one has any idea what evidence, if any, Agent Watson has collected to use against him. And worse still, Oliver is once again forced into the hood after John’s injuries get so much worse that the team is hampered from stopping evil Laurel steal the last component for a wide-range thermite bomb.
Will Oliver Queen eventually be publicly confirmed as the Green Arrow? Will the cure being developed by Mr terrific and Felicity’s Helix Dynamics work for john and enable take back the hood which he wants so much? And what is Cayden James really up to? This week, he plays the team brilliantly, stealing a bomb he has no intention of using yet, and manipulating them into taking down persons in SCPD uniforms while under surveillance, effectively turning the public’s vote in favour of the anti-vigilante bill. The team is tense –Oliver and John have a falling out, and Felicity and Curtis have a major quarrel. Quentin blames himself for Laurel’s continued killing (and, boy, does she love it so much!), while Dinah is worried about the team’s ability to protect the city as it is.
At last though, they do get something to be thankful about, as Aunt Thea finally wakes up from her 6-month long coma. Everybody comes back together, and John gives the hood temporarily back to Oliver to lead the team as Green Arrow.
