8 years ago, the world of superheroes also came on television. It wasn't Marvel that carried out this miracle but DC Comics through the CW.
Arrow can be considered to all intents and purposes the television forerunner of this genre.
Daredevil, Legion, The Boys, all the Marvel / Netflix series and dozens of other TV series from comics, owe at least some of their success to Greg Berlanti's idea of bringing the Green Arrow on TV.
Eight years after that historical moment, Arrow closes its doors.
A last season marked above all by the frightening and gigantic experiment of "Crisis on Infinite Earth" that has seen 6 TV series connected within the same universe, following the same story.
The so-called Arrowverse unified under a single hat. This is also a huge merit of the TV series starring Stephen Ammell.
And it was him, incredibly, the great absentee of the season finale of Arrow, pardon, of the series. Ammell, although he remains the great protagonist of the finale, is absent. A strange choice, anticlimatic but necessary after the events of Crisis on Infinite Earth.
And so Arrow's finale becomes nothing but a celebration of Arrow himself and above all of Oliver Queen.
A long memorial to remember the deeds of Green Arrow and the life of Oliver Queen.
Everybody's in this finale. All of Oliver Queen's historical travel companions. The temporal reset allowed almost all of his friends, loved ones to reappear and pay their last homage to Oliver Queen.
It certainly wasn't an impeccable quality tv show. The script has always been very loose, very wide, very benevolent with itself. A TV series that will certainly not be studied for its writing and narrative coherence. Despite this we are talking about a product that plays and will play a very important role in the history of TV, especially the superhero genre. Arrow was the first and as such he will always carry a certain amount of merit for having paved the way for everyone else.
The ending is certainly very soft, not unforgettable but it gives thanks to the hero that Starling City needed and for which many fans have cheered all these years.

8 anni fa il mondo dei supereroi arrivò anche in televisione. Non fu la Marvel a portare avanti questo miracolo ma la DC Comics attraverso la CW. Arrow può essere considerato a tutti gli effetti l'apripista televisivo di questo genere. Daredevil, Legion, The Boys, tutte le serie Marvel / Netflix e le altre decine di serie tv tratte da fumetti, devono almeno un pò del loro successo all'idea di Greg Berlanti di portare freccia verde in tv. A distanza di 8 anni da quel momento storico, Arrow chiude i battenti. Un'ultima stagione contrassegnata soprattutto dallo spaventoso e gigantesco esperimento di "Crisis on Infinite Earth" che ha visto ben 6 serie tv collegarsi dentro lo stesso universo, seguendo la stessa storia. Il cosiddetto Arrowverse unificato sotto un'unico cappello. Anche questo è un merito enorme della serie tv con protagonista Stephen Ammell. Ed è stato proprio lui, incredibilmente, il grande assente del finale di stagione di Arrow, pardon, del finale della serie. Ammell, nonostante resti il grande protagonista del finale, risulta assente. Una scelta strana, anticlimatica ma necessaria dopo gli eventi di Crisis on Infinite Earth. E cosi il finale di Arrow non diventa altro che una celebrazione di Arrow stesso e soprattutto di Oliver Queen. Un lungo memoriale per ricordare le gesta di Green Arrow e la vita di Oliver Queen. Ci sono proprio tutti in questo finale. Tutti i compagni di viaggio storici di Oliver Queen. Il reset temporale ha permesso a quasi tutti i suoi amici, ai suoi cari di ricomparire e rendere l'ultimo omaggio a Oliver Queen. Non è certo stata una serie tv qualitativamente impeccabile. La sceneggiatura è sempre stata molto lassa, molto larga, molto benevola con se stessa. Una serie tv di certo che non sarà studiata per la sua scrittura e la sua coerenza narrativa. Nonostante questo parliamo di un prodotto che ricopre e ricoprirà un ruolo molto importante nella storia della tv, soprattutto quella di genere supereroistico. Arrow è stato il primo ed in quanto tale si porterà sempre dietro una certa dose di merito per aver aperto la strada a tutti gli altri. Il finale è di certo molto soft, non indimenticabile ma rende grazie all'eroe di cui Starling City aveva bisogno e per cui tanti fan hanno fatto il tifo in tutti questi anni.

Hello everyone, how are you?
After The Flash Review I think it’s about time for the Arrow one, that introduced us ‘’The Flash’’ show and led the way for other successful superhero series like Supergirl.
Arrow is another Dc comic that became a series about none other than the hero Green Arrow. It has 5 seasons (a lot I can say, so get ready to for hours of fun) with the premiere date to be at October 10 2012 (wow I am watching it for 5 years!)
The story follows Oliver Queen a rich playboy that shipwrecked on a remote island that changed his life in a lot ways. After some years he returns back to his home with a list and a goal to punish and extinguish the crime and evil.
Because I don’t want to spoil a lot of things and I could easily do it by making 5 parts one for each season I will say like I did in my Flash Review some things I found interesting and why this show is a bit different from the other superhero ones
Green Arrow is not the typical type of superhero that has superpowers but instead he is a playboy that because of a socking experience he faced and lived he became you might say a vigilante, trains himself, learns new skills and starts a war with the underworld. In this war and mostly in the first seasons don’t expect to see the ‘’ don’t kill the bad guys’’ , ‘’give them to police’’, no no no its nothing like this.
HE KILLS THE CRIMINAL UNDERWORLD, YES HE KILLS THEM WHTHOUT EVEN CARING!!!
Moreover, we see how from having none to help him with his goals, he forms a team and bonds with other people while in the meantime he is fighting with his inner demons and try to become a better man.
Don’t think it’s just a show that the hero fights the villains and brings them to justice. Get ready to see a lot of drama, many deaths from both sides (something that shows you can’t always win) and a great plot with many new things, goals and enemies added.

I am gona say it guys and blame me for that if you want to. I PREFER ARROW ENEMIES THAN FLASH'S and that’s not because they are stronger or something but arrow combines both realism and fantasy having numerus enemies from mere thugs, thieves, a lot of mafias (Chinese Triads, Bratva), whole assassin guilds and many world famous ones like China White ( Triad branch Leader), the iconic Deadshot and Deathstroke( that Deadpool inspired), Count Vertigo, Merlyn and Ras al ghul.
Before i reach my conclusion a last thing I want to say and I believe it gives another perspective to the show is that while everything I mentioned above happens the show provides at the same time with the form of Flashbacks the backstory of how Oliver Queen from a rich boy became a well-trained killing machine as well as the troubles he went through in order to return home.
My conclusion
In conclusion I believe it’s really worth the time to check it out (if you are a Dc fan as I said in Flash Review it’s a must see show), in particular if you have a tiring day and want to stay home. Moreover, if you are the kind of person that don’t like so much the superpower thing like fire from hands, teleport etc etc Arrow will provide you with the dose of realism you want. If I remember correctly in season 1 it’s just like you watch a mafia shooting killing type of movie but with an arrow instead of gun.
