A Battle is all about Relationships

The excitement continues. As more and more refugees come to the Mutant Underground, the focus moves to finding out how exactly Sentinel services has managed to turn mutants against each other, especially John's friend, Pulse, while exploring the theme of relationships.
Still rankled about Dreamer's memory implant, Clairce confronts John, apparently now deeply in love with him, and wanting to know if he felt anything for her. When he tells her his relationship with her and Dreamer is complicated, she leaves headquarters in anger. Dreamer, meanwhile, tells him they shouldn't keep their relationship on hold any longer, and they share a kiss. However, without Clarice to blink them in and out, the other mutants are forced to make a different plan to find out what they need to know. A small team made up of Marcos, Reed and Andy heads up to Baton Rouge to get the files they need, doing a little father-son bonding on the way. Andy performs wonderfully in taking down the wall, and we see another use of Marcos' powers --absorbing light instead of emitting. Still, they are discovered and run into a police ambush, and Polaris has to come to their rescue with her 'students', Lauren and a new refugee, Wes.
Meanwhile, Sentinel Services officer Jace Turner is reeling from his memory loss from last episode and makes a deal with Dr. Campbell to get back in the field, more determined than ever to get the mutants. And we learn that the doctor is still trying to find out more on the Struckers, that their abilities are beyond par for the mutants in the underground, and that the Xmen --the X-Men!!!-- are the ones who set up the underground in the first place, and put John/Thunderbird in charge.
