League of Legends es uno de los videojuegos más populares en la actualidad, al punto que se han ido creando otros juegos asociados a su mundo, y lo que nos compete hoy, una serie animada, estrenada hace poco en Netflix. La serie fue producida por Riot Games, con los servicios de animación de Fortiche Productions.

Vi y Powder, son 2 hermanas que viven en el distrito Suburbano de Piltover, junto a su tutor Vander y otros compañeros. Ellos viven y sufren los diversos problemas del bajo mundo, mientras aspiran a una mejor vida. Por otro lado, en las clases altas de Piltover, conocemos a Jayce, un estudiante interesado en integrar la magia como uso cotidiano, sin saber si la misma traerá más beneficios que problemas.
Vi and Powder, are 2 sisters who live in the Suburban district of Piltover, along with their tutor Vander and other friends. They live and suffer the various problems of the underworld, while aspiring for a better life. Luego de una corta sinopsis, puedo asegurar a título personal, que nos encontramos con una de las mejores series animadas del año, el trabajo en diversos apartados es desde bueno a excelente, siendo para mi una total sorpresa.
After a short synopsis, I can personally assure that we have one of the best animated series of the year, the work in different sections is from good to excellent, being for me a total surprise.
La trama muestra como problema principal el drama de 2 hermanas que verán cómo la vida las enfrentará; a su vez, hay diversos temas que se conjugan con ella, como: la lucha de clases, el manejo del poder, el posible efecto de una nueva tecnología, el precio de la paz, etc. Todo ello la vuelve una serie muy interesante, sabiendo manejar los clímax de diversos episodios. He de mencionar, que busca tomar sus temas de manera más dura de lo que uno pudiera esperarse.
The plot shows as the main problem the drama of 2 sisters who will see how life will confront them; at the same time, there are several themes that are conjugated with it, such as: the class struggle, the management of power, the possible effect of a new technology, the price of peace, etc. All this makes it a very interesting series, knowing how to handle the climaxes of various episodes. I have to mention, that it seeks to take its themes in a harsher way than one might expect.
En otro aspecto único es la animación que recuerda mucho al videojuego, y que en varias escenas se experimenta de manera excelente, la escena de Ekko y Jinx es simplemente espectacular. A los que les gusta Imagine Dragons, banda de rock, disfrutaran más esta serie, pues añaden su canción “Enemy”, que se integra bien en el opening y en ciertas escenas. Esa canción se suma al excelente soundtrack de la serie, uno de sus puntos fuertes. Finalmente mencionó que escuche la versión en inglés, y el trabajo de las voces es resaltante.

Ya se confirmó una 2da temporada, que esperare con altas expectativas. La recomiendo a quien gusta de las series animadas en general. Y si te gusta League of Legends, no se que esperas para verla pero ya.
