Un título que tenía entre mis cuentas de pendientes, ya un tanto antigua. La quería ver, por la premisa o la idea, de que iba a ver un crimen perfecto, te dejo mis comentarios. Se estrenó en el 2007. Su director es Gregory Hoblit.

Al fiscal de distrito William Beachum, le llega un caso de improviso, en sus últimos días trabajando para el estado. Lo acepta por la facilidad con la que suena el caso. En un asesinato, se encontro el arma y al asesino, este dejo una declaración jurada aceptando los hechos. Algo que parecía acabar rápidamente, se acaba torciendo de maneras muy inesperadas. Dejando el caso, como posiblemente un crimen perfecto.
District Attorney William Beachum, a case comes to him out of the blue, in his last days working for the state. He accepts it because of the ease with which the case sounds. In a murder, the gun and the murderer were found, and he left an affidavit accepting the facts. Something that seemed to end quickly, ends up twisting in very unexpected ways. Leaving the case, as possibly a perfect crime.

En los roles principales tenemos a William interpretado por un joven Ryan Gosling, mientras al rico asesino Theodore Crawford lo interpreta Anthony Hopkins. Partamos de la trama, que si bien muestra un caso interesante, dejándonos con muchas ganas de saber su resolución final, tiene una falla al intentar alargar ciertos intermedios, además de ser intrascendentes.
In the main roles we have William played by a young Ryan Gosling, while the rich murderer Theodore Crawford is played by Anthony Hopkins. Let's start with the plot, that although it shows an interesting case, leaving us eager to know its final resolution, it has a flaw in trying to lengthen certain intermissions, besides being inconsequential.

Otro punto que veo malo, es la actuación de Gosling, no me llega a convencer como fiscal de distrito, aparte que le dan una personalidad un tanto excéntrica al personaje. Por otro lado Hopkins, si logra hacer un buen papel de villano mente maestra, notándose su experiencia con este tipo de personajes.
Another point that I see bad, is the performance of Gosling, I do not get to convince me as a district attorney, besides giving a somewhat eccentric personality to the character. On the other hand Hopkins, if he manages to make a good role of villain mastermind, noting his experience with this type of characters.
Dicho lo anterior, y tener un trabajo de lo técnico aceptable, acaba siendo una película intrigante, dejándote con muchas ganas de conocer la conclusión del caso. Creo que posiblemente a la película le hubiera funcionado poner un tema secundario más con que mezclar, pues le hubiera dado más dinamismo.
That said, and having an acceptable technical work, it ends up being an intriguing film, leaving you eager to know the conclusion of the case. I think the film could have used one more secondary theme to mix it up, as it would have given it more dynamism.
Lo recomiendo si te llaman las películas un tanto detectivescas con su mezcla de abogados.
I recommend it if you like detective movies with a mix of lawyers.
