Hay varias películas de Disney que se enfocan en un país, como Coco con México. En esta ocasión, la trama en Encanto se da en Colombia, mostrándonos muchos aspectos de ese país. El film fue estrenado en noviembre del año pasado. Fue dirigida por Jared Bush y Byron Howard.

Comienzo diciendo que la película es casi un musical, por no decir que lo es, ya que hay diversas canciones repartidas en todo el film. La trama es entretenida, especialmente por la forma en que va avanzando, mostrando a cada integrante de la familia separadamente, mientras avanzan los acontecimientos. Tal vez su punto flojo, es que no llega a encajar mucho ciertas partes, como la parte de Luisa, que sirve más para dilatar el film que avanzar la trama.

Uno de sus grandes puntos positivos, sin duda, es la música, en la que Lin-Manuel Miranda, el compositor de las diversas canciones, hace un trabajo excelente. La animación es buena pero no es lo que más resalta, no considero que haya grandes avances en este apartado. Siento que este apartado es el que poco a poco se va dejando de lado en las ultimas producciones de Disney, notándose falta de innovación. Los demás aspectos técnicos son correctos.

En general, Encanto es una buena película familiar, con excelente música y entretenida trama. Y si te interesa conocer un poco de la cultura colombiana, es super recomendada.
