   Today we are going to talk about Encanto, a film that, as its name suggests, is full of magic in every scene, I will share with you what were my impressions when I saw it, as well as which were the elements that I liked the most and which were not, join me in this review 😊.

   Hoy vamos a hablar de Encanto, una película que, tal como su nombre lo indica, está llena de magia en cada escena, voy a compartir con ustedes cuales fueron mis impresiones cuando la vi, así como cuales fueron los elementos que más me gustaron y cuales no, acompáñenme en esta review. 😊

   

   Summary/Resumen

   First I will make a brief summary in case you have not seen this film, it is about the Madrigal family, which lives in a spectacular magical house, each of the blood members of the family has a magical gift with which they help their community, which manifests itself at five years of age when they touch the doorknob, However, Mirabel does not have any gift, something that makes her very sad because it makes her feel that she does not belong to the family, but step by step she will unravel the mystery that surrounds the house and she may be the only one who can save it from destruction.

   En primer lugar haré un breve resumen en caso de que no hayan visto esta película, se trata de la familia Madrigal, la cual vive en una espectacular casa mágica, cada uno de los miembros sanguíneos de la familia posee un don mágico con el cual ayudan a su comunidad, el cual se manifiesta a los cinco años de edad cuando tocan el pomo de una puerta, sin embargo Mirabel no tiene ningún don, algo que la pone muy triste porque la hace sentir que no pertenece a la familia, sin embargo poco a poco ira desentrañando el misterio que se cierne en torno a la casa y posiblemente sea ella la única que pueda salvarla de la destrucción.

   Ok, I think I have to start with what I didn't like about the film, I think it has a pretty flat and generic story and that the creators could have based it on stories from Colombia which is the country where the plot is set, just like they did with Coco, which was based on the Day of the Dead, one of the most famous festivities of the country, Colombia, like all other Latin American countries is culturally rich, full of myths, legends and stories and any of them could have been adapted into this film, instead of simply using the typical story of the person who doesn't fit in with the rest, whose (rather predictable) ending is about the fact that she does have powers, that of uniting her family, which leads us to ask ourselves questions like, is this a "magical" power?

   Ok, creo que debo comenzar por lo que no me gustó de la película, pienso que tiene una historia bastante plana y genérica y que los creadores han podido basarse en historias propias de Colombia que es el país en el que se desarrolla la trama, tal y como hicieron con Coco, que se basaron en El día de Muertos, una de las festividades más célebres del país, Colombia, al igual que todos los demás paises latinoamericanos es muy rico culturalmente, está lleno de mitos, leyendas e historias y cualquiera de ellas pudo ser adaptada en esta película, en lugar de simplemente usar la típica historia de la persona que no encaja con el resto, cuyo final (bastante predecible) se trata de que sí tiene poderes, el de unir a su familia, lo que nos lleva a hacernos preguntas como ¿esto se trata de un poder "mágico"?

   I am not Colombian but I know that in Colombia there are many wonderful myths and legends that the producers could have used as a basis to develop the story and thus give it a unique and special touch, a stamp of their own, I am talking about legends such as "La madre de agua" (the mother of water) "La Pata Sola" (the one-footed woman) "La candileja" (the candlestick) "La mula errada" (The mule with horseshoes) "Las brujas de Burgama" (The witches of Burgama) and many others.

   No soy Colombiana pero sé que en Colombia hay muchos mitos y leyendas maravillosos que los productores pudieron haber utilizado como base para desarrollar la historia y darle así un toque único y especial, un sello propio, hablo de leyendas como "La madre de agua" "La Pata Sola" "La candileja" "La mula errada" "Las brujas de Burgama" y otras muchas más.

   But leaving this aside, I think the film has many other elements that I did like, such as the fact that in its English version the characters say several words in Spanish, something that can help English speakers to learn Spanish words and at the same time help them to immerse themselves a little more in the plot, and for us Latinos it helps us to identify with the film.

   Pero haciendo a un lado esto, creo que la película tiene muchos otros elementos que sí me gustaron, como el hecho de que en su versión en inglés los personajes digan varias palabras en español, algo que puede ayudar a las personas angloparlantes a aprender palabras en este idioma y al mismo tiempo los ayuda a sumergirse un poco más en la trama, a los latinos por nuestra parte nos ayuda a sentirnos identificados.

   I also like that they have used resources that refer to Colombian culture, such as the yellow butterflies that inevitably take us back to the novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, and in the same way the Madrigal's house also reminds me of this novel, an old house in which a family lives under the leadership of a matriarch, Alma Madrigal, in "One Hundred Years of Solitude" it was Úrsula Iguarán who took the reins of the family after the death of her husband, José Arcadio Buendía.

   También me gusta que hayan utilizado recursos referenciales a la cultura colombiana, como las mariposas amarillas que inevitablemente nos remontan a la novela "Cien años de Soledad" del escritor colombiano Gabriel García Márquez, y de la misma forma la casa de los Madrigal también me recuerda a esta novela, una casona antigua en la que vive una familia bajo el liderazgo de una matriarca, Alma Madrigal, en "Cien Años de Soledad" era Úrsula Iguarán quien llevó las riendas de la familia luego de la muerte de su marido, José Arcadio Buendía.

   I also like that they have included a very successful variety of Latin American wildlife such as jaguars, capybaras and tapirs.

   También me gusta que hayan incluido una variedad muy acertada de la fauna latinoamericana como los jaguares, capibaras y dantas.

   And what can I say about the soundtrack? I think it's superb, wonderful, one of the best I've heard, every note, every chord, every rhythm perfectly represents Colombia more than the story itself did, it's full of multiple nuances like vallenato, salsa caleña and cumbia, and in some songs they also mixed these rhythms with trap

   ¿Y que les puedo decir del soundtrack? Creo que es soberbio, maravilloso, uno de los mejores que he escuchado, cada nota, cada acorde, cada ritmo representa perfectamente a Colombia más de lo que lo hizo la propia historia, está lleno de múltiples matices como el vallenato, salsa caleña y cumbia, y en algunas canciones también mezclaron estos ritmos con trap.

   I must also mention the fact that the voice actors did their job so well that you inevitably feel immersed in the plot as they sing, for example in the song "We don't talk about Bruno" we can notice that most of the song is sung in a whispered voice because it is not allowed to talk about the mysterious character, it's just great.

   También debo mencionar el hecho de como los actores de doblaje hicieron tan bien su trabajo que inevitablemente te sientes inmerso en la trama a medida que ellos van cantando, por ejemplo en el tema "Aquí no se habla de Bruno" podemos notar que la mayoría de la canción es cantada con una voz susurrada porque no está permitido hablar del personaje misterioso, es simplemente genial.

   I also like that the film represents the great ethnic diversity that exists in Latin America and that it is a product of miscegenation, many people around the world believe that people from Latin America are usually dark skinned, with brown hair and eyes and that is not true, here there are people with multiple appearances, there are blondes, brunettes, people with black skin, with white skin, with indigenous appearance, in short it is a very diverse and wonderful world, I love that they have represented all that in this film.

   Me gusta también que en la película se vea representada la gran diversidad étnica que hay en Latinoamérica y que es producto del mestizaje, muchas personas alrededor del mundo cree que la gente de Latinoamérica usualmente es de tez oscura, con color de ojos y cabello castaño y eso no es verdad, aquí hay personas con múltiples apariencias, hay gente rubia, morena, personas de tez negra, con tez blanca, con apariencia indígena, en fin es un mundo muy diverso y maravilloso, amo que hayan representado todo eso en esta película.

   And finally I would like to talk about the photography, which I think is beautiful, almost all the scenes that represent the happiness of the Madrigal family is full of multiple colours that help you to feel the same happiness, at the same time the tones get darker when it comes to mystery, like in the scenes with the famous Bruno (who nobody can talk about) the producers knew how to use their resources very well.

   Y por último me gustaría hablar de la fotografía, la cual creo que es preciosa, casi todas las escenas que representan la felicidad de la familia Madrigal está llena de multiples colores que te ayudan a sentir la misma felicidad, al mismo tiempo los tonos se oscurecen cuando de misterio se trata, como en las escenas con el famoso Bruno (del que nadie puede hablar) los productores supieron utilizar muy bien sus recursos.

   In conclusion I can tell you that I don't consider this to have been a bad film at all, on the contrary it is quite entertaining and beautiful, it's just that I think they could have done a better job in terms of story, and probably this film would have been as emblematic and captivating as Coco was, I still liked it and I do recommend it.    En conclusión les puedo decir que no considero para nada que haya sido una mala película, al contrario es bastante entretenida y hermosa, es solo que considero que pudieron haber hecho un mejor trabajo en cuanto a la historia, y probablemente esta película hubiese sido tan emblemática y cautivadora como lo fue Coco, aún así me gustó y sí la recomiendo.    Saludos amigos, continuamos con mucho más de películas de la gran empresa de animaciones y canciones de Disney Pixar.

   Hoy les vengo a presentar una nueva película llamada ENCANTO, actualmente está siendo muy popular entre los amantes de las películas fanáticos de este género, también cabe destacar que es la primera película de Disney dedicada al país de Colombia.

   En este Film podemos encontrar y sumergirnos en una aventura llena de fantasía Y encanto, podemos encontrar mucha magia que posee una gran familia, cada uno posee habilidades distintas, los cuales son usados para poder ayudar a los habitantes de un hermoso poblado, las canciones son muy asombrosas y las animaciones son excepcionales.   

   Esta publicación no contendrá Spoiler, les mostraré un pequeño resumen de lo que podemos encontrar en este Film y motivarles para que la vean, si eres uno de los que poseen una larga lista, será mejor que adelante esta película, porque sin lugar a dudas te encantara.

   ¿QUÉ PODEMOS ENCONTRAR EN LA PELÍCULA?

   En este Film podemos encontrar y sumergirnos en el mundo de la fantasía, conoceremos a una adolescente llamada Mirabel, quien tendrá una aventura llena de complicaciones, Mirabel vive en una hermosa casa que tiene vida propia, la sed de convertirse en un miembro muy importante para su familia es muy impresionante, aunque no es solo por ayudar a su familia, sino para sentirse útil, ya que todos sus hermanos y primos tienen habilidades sorprendentes.   

   LA VELA QUE OTORGA LAS HABILIDADES

   El principio de esta historia, podemos ver como comenzó todo, la abuela de Mirabel tubo un pasado muy triste en la que se vio afectada por la perdida de su esposo, dejándola sola cuidando de tres hermosos bebes, gracias a sus deseos más íntimos, una vela que poseía para alumbrar el camino se convierte en una vela mágica, el cual su llama nunca se apagara, otorgándole habilidades especiales a toda la generación de la familia de Mirabel.   

   

   WHAT CAN WE FIND IN THE FILM?

   In this film we can find and immerse ourselves in the world of fantasy, we will meet a teenager named Mirabel, who will have an adventure full of complications, Mirabel lives in a beautiful house that has a life of its own, the thirst to become a very important member for her family is very impressive, although it is not only to help her family, but to feel useful, since all her brothers and cousins have amazing abilities.

   In the beginning of this story, we can see how it all began, Mirabel's grandmother had a very sad past in which she was affected by the loss of her husband, leaving her alone taking care of three beautiful babies, thanks to her innermost desires, a candle that she owned to light the way becomes a magical candle, which its flame will never go out, giving special abilities to the entire generation of Mirabel's family.

   LA FAMILIA DE LOS MADRIGAL

   El apellido de la familia de Mirabel es Madrigal, quienes cada uno de los miembros de esta familia posee un don muy especial que los ayudara a llevar su hermoso poblado hacia adelante, esta familia ha jurado proteger y ayudar a todo su poblado para convertirlo en un hermoso paraíso en la que vivir, llena de paz, armonía y sobre todo mucho amor.

   PERSONAJES Y HABILIDADES DE CADA UNO DE LOS MADRIGAL

   La tía de Mirabel llamada Pepa, tiene el don de controlar el clima según las emociones que tenga, si se siente muy contenta el sol saldrá para todos teniendo un cálido clima, de lo contrario prepárate para mojar tu ropa por la lluvia.

   Tenemos al tío de Mirabel llamado Bruno, pero no se habla de Bruno…

   La madre de Mirabel se llama Julieta, quien con sus maravillosos platillos puede curar cualquier dolencia o enfermedad.

   Dolores tiene el don de escucharlo todo, hasta la mínima aguja que cae al suelo.

   El hermano de Dolores llamado Camilo, su don le permite convertirse en todas las personas que él desee.

   Antonio puede entender y hablar con los animales.

   Y por último tenemos a las dos hermanas de Mirabel, llamada Isabela, quien tiene el don de manipular las plantas y Luisa tiene el don de la superfuerza, puesto que puede levantar hasta una casa con solo una mano.

   AL TENER UN GRAN PODER CONLLEVA A UNA GRAN RESPONSABILIDAD

   Cada uno de los miembros de la familia de los Madrigal tiene que trabajar muy duro, ya que tienen el deber de ayudar a todos los habitantes de su poblado todos los días, ayudar a los enfermos, en la comida, en los arreglos, en los riegos de la cosecha y sobre todo en mantener a todos los habitantes contentos.

   PELEA ENTRE HERMANAS

   Las peleas entre hermanos es algo muy común en las grandes familias, puesto que este es el problema entre Mirabel y Isabela, puesto que Mirabel siempre intenta ayudar a su familia a pesar de los problemas que ha tenido, siempre esta hay para dar el todo por el todo, pero al parecer a la única persona que no aprecia sus esfuerzos en Isabela, quien en repetidas ocasiones Mirabel tiende a tener complicaciones cerca de ella, provocando fuertes discusiones en repetidas ocasiones, al principio se llevaran muy mal.

   

   HAVING GREAT POWER COMES WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITY.

   Each of the members of the Madrigal family has to work very hard, as they have the duty to help all the inhabitants of their village every day, to help the sick, to help with the food, with the arrangements, with the irrigation of the harvest and above all to keep all the inhabitants happy.

   FIGHTING BETWEEN SISTERS.

   En este Film podemos encontrar muchos misterios y dudas que se responderán a medida que avance la historia, ya que uno de los miembros de la familia Madrigal posee la habilidad de predecir el futuro, probando muchos misterios entre toda la familia.

   ES MEJOR DEJAR QUE EL FUTURO SIGA SIENDO UN MISTERIO

    Este es el caso de Mirabel, quien al encontrar un extraño objeto con su foto, se llena de curiosidad para saber que es lo que está sucediendo, puesto que al parecer es algo que tiene que ver con el futuro de la familia, llenando de mucha curiosidad a Mirabel, por ende toda la familia no me presta atención, y su abuela no permite que Mirabel interfiera en los asuntos del resto de la familia, por lo que veremos muchas escenas en la que Mirabel se desespera intentando ayudar al resto de la familia Madrigal. 

   

   THE MYSTERIES OF THE FAMILY.

   In this Film we can find many mysteries and doubts that will be answered as the story progresses, since one of the members of the Madrigal family possesses the ability to predict the future, proving many mysteries among the whole family.

   IT IS BETTER TO LET THE FUTURE REMAIN A MYSTERY.

    This is the case of Mirabel, who upon finding a strange object with her picture, is filled with curiosity to know what is happening, since apparently it is something that has to do with the future of the family, filling Mirabel with much curiosity, therefore the whole family does not pay attention to me, and her grandmother does not allow Mirabel to interfere in the affairs of the rest of the family, so we will see many scenes in which Mirabel gets desperate trying to help the rest of the Madrigal family.

   Conclusión

   Este Film es muy hermoso, las canciones, el progreso de la historia, los personajes y las habilidades de cada miembro de la familia Madrigal es sorprendente.

   Los efectos especiales que le agregaron a la casa son muy interesantes, los misterios del tío de Mirabel llamado Bruno y el amor que le tiene a su familia como par año alejarse ellos es muy admirable, su amor a su familia lo hizo vivir separado de ellos, pero nunca se alejó de su hogar ni de su familia, ya que para él la familia lo es todo.

   El deseo de Mirabel para poder ayudar a su familia a pesar de las adversidades que paso es muy lindo, ya que no le importa si su familia no la necesita, ella siempre esta hay para ayudarlos.

   Esta película entra en los géneros de Animación, comedia, música y fantasía.

   Puede ser visto para todo público mayor de 4 años, perfecto para verlo en familia.

   Saludos, amigos. Anoche vi la película Encanto. Tenía muchas expectativas dado que fue la ganadora del Óscar por mejor película animada y por ello ha generado gran controversia entre los espectadores, sin embargo, no era lo que esperaba. Uno de los aspectos que más se resalta es que Disney vuelve a su esencia musical, pero no con los aciertos de la época de los 90. No se puede negar que visualmente es increíble, con una animación maravillosa que cautiva.

   Argumento

   Mirabel (Stephanie Beatriz) es una chica que vive en una casa mágica con su familia. En dicha vivienda se encuentra una vela con la llama viva, la cual representa el legado místico. Los Madrigal tienen poderes asombrosos, pero ella es la única que no posee un don especial, por esta razón no termina de integrarse ya que la inseguridad la invade. La protagonista tiene una visión donde puede observar que su hogar está en peligro y emprende una búsqueda para salvar el milagro que los envuelve, puesto que el amor de la familia es lo que mantiene la flama encendida.

   Aspectos técnicos

   Jared Bush, Byron Howard y Charise Castro Smith son los encargados de ejecutar este proyecto, nos presentan un guion con tramas que ya hemos visto en otras producciones de Disney, por lo que algunos pasajes pueden ser predecibles. Decidieron no arriesgar demasiado con la construcción narrativa, por eso, la cinta pierde firmeza. El final no me agradó pues no fue sorprendente, no hubo ningún giro. Por lo expuesto, considero que falla en su propuesta argumental.

   Otro aspecto que debo mencionar es la banda sonora. Oscar Lin Manuel-Miranda lidera la composición de los temas musicales, ocho en su totalidad, los cuales solo me dieron unos minutos de entretenimiento. Casi de inmediato olvidé las letras pues no fueron significativas y ralentizaron la historia. Disney quiso volver a sus orígenes, pero, desde mi juicio, no estuvo bien ejecutado, pese a que Carlos Vives y Sebastián Yatra hicieron un gran esfuerzo.

   Mención aparte merece la animación, la cual es muy buena, en este aspecto no decepciona. La puesta en pantalla es grandiosa, complace mirar cada escenografía. Muchos colores vibrantes que dibujan el folclore de Colombia, exaltando detalles simbólicos de sus paisajes, costumbres y tradiciones. La brillantez técnica destaca desde todo enfoque.

The Madrigals have amazing powers, but she is the only one who does not have a special gift, for this reason she does not finish integrating as insecurity invades her. The protagonist has a vision where she can see that her home is in danger and undertakes a search to save the miracle that surrounds them, since the love of the family is what keeps the flame burning.

   Technical aspects

   Jared Bush, Byron Howard and Charise Castro Smith are in charge of executing this project, they present us with a script with plots that we have already seen in other Disney productions, so some passages may be predictable. They decided not to risk too much with the narrative construction, therefore, the film loses firmness. I didn't like the ending because it wasn't surprising, there was no twist. For the above, I consider that it fails in its argument proposal.

   Another aspect that I should mention is the soundtrack. Oscar Lin Manuel-Miranda leads the composition of the musical themes, eight in all, which only gave me a few minutes of entertainment. Almost immediately I forgot the lyrics as they were meaningless and slowed down the story. Disney wanted to return to its origins, but, in my opinion, it was not well executed, despite the fact that Carlos Vives and Sebastián Yatra made a great effort.

   Special mention deserves the animation, which is very good, in this aspect it does not disappoint. The staging is great, it pleases to look at each scenery. Many vibrant colors that draw the folklore of Colombia, exalting symbolic details of its landscapes, customs and traditions. Technical brilliance stands out from every angle.

   Desde hace algún, Disney se ha alejado de los estereotipos de sus princesas perfectas. Mirabel es otro ejemplo de ello, una chica morena, con rizos, nariz gruesa y unos lentes enormes, cambiando así los estándares de belleza. También se dejaron de lado los villanos, que anteriormente poseían un papel trascendental para la coherencia de la trama, ahora el desarrollo se aborda de otra forma. En esta cinta se nos muestra la historia de una familia que desea vencer los obstáculos para mantenerse unida porque no pueden permitir que la magia se apague.

   Contexto

   En el film nos situamos en Encanto, una villa rural colombiana, referencia al realismo mágico del escritor Gabriel García Márquez. Podemos notar ciertos elementos de la cultura de este país: las mochilas wayúu, la arepa, los sombreros vueltiaos; la panela, el café, la vestimenta, la flora, la fauna, algunos ritmos musicales y una de las tradiciones más importantes: la celebración del día de las velitas, ya que este objeto es decisivo para el progreso de la historia. En este sentido, se reconoce el esfuerzo por presentar todos estos detalles.

   Matriarcado

   La abuela Alma es la matriarca, una mujer con un gran temple y una sólida personalidad. Su misión es mantener las tradiciones familiares y siente la responsabilidad de salvaguardar a sus descendientes en la casa. Ella se hizo cargo de todo después de la pérdida de su esposo. Sus herederos viven bajo sus preceptos e ideologías, en ocasiones, la abuela puede ser sobreprotectora. Se busca destacar el poderío femenino, las mujeres de este linaje son fuertes y trabajadoras. Además, aprovechan para exhibirnos la heterogeneidad de cada una de ellas, evidenciándose que los hombres tienen roles secundarios en esta cinta.

   Ser diferente

   El mensaje de la película está muy claro, ser diferente no debe ser motivo de vergüenza. Las expectativas que los demás tienen sobre nosotros no nos pueden impedir mostrarnos tal cual somos. Mirabel descubrirá que no necesita un don para ser especial. Cada miembro de la familia tiene un rol fundamental, hay que considerar que todos los seres humanos son únicos. Por ello, exteriorizar lo que hay en nuestro interior nos hará libres, debemos ser genuinos, decir y hacer lo que realmente sentimos. Vivimos en una sociedad, por tanto, la ayuda mutua consolidará buenas relaciones con los demás. Sobre todo, si tenemos parentesco con dichas personas. Las buenas acciones las retribuye el universo.

   Stereotype

   The message of the film is very clear, being different should not be a source of shame. The expectations that others have of us cannot prevent us from showing ourselves as we are. Mirabel will discover that she doesn't need a gift to be special. Each member of the family has a fundamental role, we must consider that all human beings are unique. Therefore, externalizing what is inside us will make us free, we must be genuine, say and do what we really feel.    El valor del perdón también aparece levemente matizado. Para sentirnos bien debemos deslastrarnos de la rabia o el rencor, sentimientos que pesan mucho y solo nos contaminan. Buscar nuestra paz interior ha de ser lo más importante, así tendremos nuestra conciencia tranquila y podremos enfocarnos en diferentes proyectos. Perdonar, sin duda, mejora nuestra salud mental.

   Consideraciones finales

   Después de todo lo expuesto, voy a puntualizar algunos aspectos. Las letras de las canciones no me cautivaron, hay excesos de musicales. La historia se diluye en medio de ellos. La cinta intenta ser graciosa, pero los chistes no tienen ninguna gracia. Debo reconocer que algunos personajes tienen carisma, pero hay otros que no aportan nada a la trama, carentes de profundidad, solo figuran para acentuar la diversidad racial. La idea era plantear la esencia cultural de Colombia (indios, negros, mestizos), todos tienen un puesto en la familia Madrigal.

   El film está dirigido al público infantil, pero su mensaje reflexivo se enfoca en una audiencia de mayor edad. Es cierto que resulta muy entretenido para los niños al combinar una fórmula que ya sabemos que funciona: el canto, el baile, la magia y personajes variados. Así lo vimos en Frozen, Moana, La sirenita, entre tantas otras. Asimismo, su apartado visual es increíble, la calidad del trabajo es notable, se presenta una fantástica historia que puede ser disfrutable en familia sino la analizas demasiado, solo para pasar un rato, no como un producto memorable.

   The forgiveness

   The value of forgiveness also appears slightly nuanced. To feel good we must get rid of anger or resentment, feelings that weigh heavily and only contaminate us. Searching for our inner peace must be the most important thing, so we will have a clear conscience and we will be able to focus on different projects. Forgiveness, without a doubt, improves our mental health.

   Final considerations

   After all the above, I am going to point out some aspects. The lyrics of the songs did not captivate me, there are excesses of musicals. The story dissolves in their midst. The tape tries to be funny, but the jokes are not funny at all. I must admit that some characters have charisma, but there are others who do not add anything to the plot, lack depth, they only appear to accentuate racial diversity. The idea was to present the cultural essence of Colombia (Indians, blacks, mestizos), everyone has a place in the Madrigal family.

   The film is aimed at children, but its thoughtful message is focused on an older audience. It is true that it is very entertaining for children by combining a formula that we already know works: singing, dancing, magic and various characters. This is how we saw it in Frozen, Moana, The Little Mermaid, among many others. Likewise, its visual section is incredible, the quality of the work is remarkable, a fantastic story is presented that can be enjoyed by the family if you don't analyze it too much, just to pass the time, not as a memorable product.

   Changes, transformation and transmutation; this is the life of the human being. We must accept challenges and changes as this helps us to grow spiritually. We must also take into consideration that our actions affect the world around us and the environment. In addition, individuals build their foundations and the base that sustains their lives. If for any reason these wobble and crack, our world crumbles. And when this happens, we open our eyes and ask ourselves: What did I do? What happened?

   This is what we call cause and effect, and it tends to happen when we do not build on solid foundations, when we live on appearances and pretend to be what we are not. We ignore what we feel, however, it is essential to be what we are and even if others do not like it, since no one has the truth and we do not realize our faults, weaknesses and fears because we live pending to satisfy others, to be what they want from us and also to seek perfection. This is worthless, what it does is to wear us down. The important thing is to rectify the path, ask ourselves what we do to improve as people and find that special something we have inside that will help us discover our mission on the planet.

   The character of little Mirabel, her role in the family and on the planet is extremely important. For her family she is someone insignificant, without attribute, beauty and without Gift. Imagine not having a gift in that family, she was marginalized and was not taken into account at all. But she has light within herself, she is intuitive, creative, kind, humble, intelligent and is able to see the world and nature with the eyes of the heart.

   Mirabel doesn't need a gift because she manages to discover who she is and what is her mission, she recognizes and accepts herself as she is. She has her own light on and it will guide her way to find the solution to her family's problems and set out on the journey, regardless of the obstacles, to save her little house. Her love for her family makes her confident. Sometimes she feels fear, but love prevails and that is why she is able to face dangers. Despite being a teenager, she is a determined, enterprising woman, with high self-esteem and empowered.

   The character of Mirabel represents the house, the home and the family, and she is the only one capable of assembling the missing pieces and discovering the mysteries.

   The change of paradigms and stereotypes of Disney's protagonists fascinated me because women do not need to be beautiful to get what they want and achieve their goals and objectives. What matters is the role they play in society, with their family and not their physical beauty.

   The film takes place in the beautiful Colombian landscapes; where the fauna, flora, vegetation and the local people stand out, using the magical realism that characterizes this town and one of the greatest writers of Latin America and the world, my dear Gabriel García Márquez, the man of the yellow butterflies.

   The Madrigal family is a typical family of this region where reality is superimposed on magic. The film captures the customs, folklore, mystical and religious beliefs. Each character is unique, whose center is the house and the family. Also where the matriarchal society reigns, full of taboos and paradigms, and each person that conforms it has its internal problems and complexes. At the end of the day the end justifies the means as we Venezuelans say and everyone embraces each other on December 31 even if the soul is deteriorating inside because we always have to live by appearances.

   In every family there is always a black sheep, that nobody wants to see or hear and everything around him is a mystery. Who goes off the rails, and wants to make his life his own way without many protocols of society. Generally the ugliest of all like Me, and to top it all off I was a nagging, questioning, imperfect child.

   OMG, my older sister used to comb my hair all day long, according to her to straighten my shaggy hair. For my grandmother Bertita's, I was the ugliest of her granddaughters and I looked like a palm tree that she had in the entrance of her garden, and that was a joke, she said it to everyone who entered her house. Thank God my parents defended me to the hilt. Wuao, will there be a black sheep in this film? Who will it be? I invite you to find out.

   The candle represents light and enlightenment, the spiritual part and the connection between family members. However, something happens that makes the house break down and the candle goes out. I invite you to find out along with Mirabel and the entire Madrigal family.

   The film calls for the preservation of natural resources, the environment and the protection of endangered animals such as the toucan and the jaguar. To protect the water sources; springs, rivers and basins.

   The most important thing, which is reflected in the film Encanto, is to preserve the spiritual part of the human being, the spark that illuminates us, what we really are and what makes us different from each other. And it makes us be more sensitive and put ourselves in the shoes of others, to be supportive, humble and above all to be empathetic with the environment around us. It drives us to get up and start again, to accept changes and move forward despite what the rest of the world says.

   To preserve the family as the basis of society, and all together accept that the planet is asking for help and fight to keep it safe. Preserving natural resources and the environment is Life and Opportunity, and we will leave a planet fit for future generations.

   This musical film was released in the year 2021, it lasts approximately one hour and 30 minutes. It was directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush.

   The soundtrack is made up of songs with beautiful lyrics that leave beautiful messages that made me dream; La familia Madrigal, un legado mágico, En lo profundo, No se habla de Bruno, Dos Oruguitas, Solo tú and Colombia mi Encanto.

   Of these my favorite is; Two little caterpillars in love, who embrace and do not know when they will have to change and leave. Wuao, it is a beauty. In that melody love is embodied, that firm love that withstands the storms and remains in time. This melody deserved to win the Oscar for best original song.

   Sebastián Yatra's performance at the Academy Awards was impeccable and with a lot of feelings; his beautiful voice, his yellow butterflies, and the couple dancing to the music with the typical Colombian costume.

   Cambios, trasformación y trasmutación; es la vida del ser humano. Hay que aceptar retos y los cambios ya que esto nos ayuda a crecer espiritualmente. También debemos tomar en consideración que nuestras acciones afectan al mundo que nos rodea y al medio ambiente. Además los individuos construyen sus cimientos y la base que sustenta su vida. Si por alguna causa estos tambalean y se fracciona nuestro mundo se desmorona. Y cuanto esto sucede es que abrimos los ojos y nos preguntamos: ¿Qué fue lo que hice? ¿Qué pasó?

   Es lo que llamamos causa y efecto, y tiende a suceder cuando no construimos sobre bases solidad, se vive de apariencia y pretendemos ser lo que no somos. Obviando lo que sentimos, sin embargo, es fundamental ser lo que somos y aunque a otros no les guste ya que nadie tiene la verdad y no nos damos cuenta de nuestras fallas, debilidades y miedos porque vivimos pendientes de satisfacer a los demás, de ser lo que ellos desean de nosotros y también de buscar la perfección.

   Esto no vale de nada, lo que hace es desgastarnos. Lo importante es rectificar el camino preguntarnos lo que hacemos para mejorar como personas y encontrar ese algo especial que tenemos dentro que nos ayudará a descubrir nuestra misión en el planeta.

   El personaje de la pequeña Mirabel, su papel en la familia y en el planeta es sumamente importante. Para su familia es alguien insignificante, sin atributo, belleza y sin Don. Imagínense no tener Don en esa familia, era marginada y no la tomaban en cuenta para nada. Pero tiene luz dentro de sí misma, es intuitiva, creativa, bondadosa, humilde, inteligente y es capaz de ver al mundo y a la naturaleza con los ojos del corazón.

   Mirabel no necesita Don porque ella logra descubrir ¿quién es? y ¿cuál es su misión? se reconoce y acepta como es. Ella tiene su luz propia encendida y esta guiará su camino para encontrar la solución a los problemas de su familia y emprender el viaje, sin importarle los obstáculos, para salvar a su casita. El amor por su familia la hace tener confianza. A veces siente miedo, pero prevalece el amor y por esto es capaz de enfrentarse a los peligros. A pesar de ser una adolescente es una mujer decidida, emprendedora, con autoestima alta y empoderada.

   En el personaje de Mirabel se representa la casa, el hogar y la familia, y ella es la única capaz de ensamblar las piezas que faltan y de descubrir los misterios.

   El cambio de paradigmas y estereotipos de las protagonistas de Disney me fascinó porque las mujeres no necesitan ser bellas para conseguir lo que quieren y lograr sus metas y objetivos. Lo que importa es el rol que cumplen en la sociedad, con su familia y no en la belleza física.

   El filme se desarrolla en los bellos paisajes colombianos; donde destaca la fauna, flora, vegetación y el gentilicio utilizando el realismo mágico que caracteriza a este pueblo y uno de los escritores más grandes de Latinoamérica y el mundo, mi querido Gabriel García Márquez, el hombre de las mariposas amarillas.

   La familia Madrigal, es una familia típica de esta región donde la realidad se superpone a la magia. En el filme se plasman las costumbres, folclore, creencias místicas y religiosas. Cada personaje es único, cuyo centro es la casa y la familia. También donde impera la sociedad matriarcal, llena de tabúes y paradigmas, y cada persona que la conforma tiene sus problemas internos y complejos. Al final de todo el fin justifica los medios como decimos los venezolanos y todos se abrazan el 31 de diciembre aunque el alma se vaya deteriorando por dentro porque siempre hay que vivir de apariencias.

   En todas las familia siempre hay una oveja negra, que nadie quiere ver ni oír y todo a su alrededor es un misterio. Que se sale del carril, y quiere hacer su vida a su manera sin muchos protocolos de la sociedad. Generalmente el más feito de todos como Yo, y para completar era una niña fastidiosa, preguntona e imperfecta.

   OMG, mi hermana mayor me peinaba todo el día, según ella para alisarme ms cabellos desgreñados. Para mi abuelita Bertita’s, era la más fea de sus nietas y me parecía a una mata de palmera que tenía en la entrada en su jardín, y eso era un chiste, se lo decía a todo el que entraba a su casa. Gracias a Dios mis padres me defendían a capa y espada. Wuao, ¿En este filme habrá una oveja negra? ¿Quién será? Les invito a averiguarlo.

   La vela representa la luz y la iluminación, la parte espiritual y la conexión entre los miembros de la familia. Sin embargo hay algo que sucede que hace que la casa se quiebre y la vela se apague. Los invito averiguarlo junto a Mirabel y toda la familia Madrigal.

   El filme hace un llamado a la preservación de los recursos naturales, del medio ambiente y protección de los animales en peligro de extinción como son el tucán y el jaguar. A proteger el agua sus fuentes; manantiales, ríos y cuencas.

   Lo más importante y que se plasma en la película Encanto, preservar la parte espiritual del ser humano, la chispa que nos ilumina, lo que realmente somos y que nos hace diferente unos de otros. Y nos hace ser más susceptible y ponernos en los zapatos del otro, ser solidarios, humildes y sobre todo a ser empáticos con el entorno que nos rodea. Que nos impulsa a levantarnos e iniciar de nuevo, a aceptar los cambios y a seguir adelante a pesar de lo que digan el resto del mundo.

   A preservar la familia como base de la sociedad, y todos juntos aceptar que el planeta pide auxilio y luchar por su mantenerlo a salvo. Preservar los recursos naturales y el medio ambiente es Vida y Oportunidad, además dejaremos un planeta apto para las futuras generaciones.

   Este filme musical fue estrenado en el año 2021, dura aproximadamente una hora y 30 minutos. Estuvo bajo la dirección Byron Howard y Jared Bush.

   La banda sonora conformada por canciones con lindas letras que dejan unos mensajes bellísimos que me hicieron soñar; La familia Madrigal, un legado mágico, En lo profundo, No se habla de Bruno, Dos Oruguitas, Solo tú y Colombia mi Encanto.

   De estas mi preferida es; Dos Oruguitas enamoradas, que se abrazan y no saben cuándo tendrán que cambiar y partir. Wuao, es una belleza. En esa melodía se plasma el amor, ese amor firme que soporta las tempestades y permanece en el tiempo. Esta melodía merecía ganar el Oscar a la mejor canción original.

   La interpretación de Sebastián Yatra en la entrega de los premios de la Academia fue impecable y con mucho sentimientos; su bella voz, sus mariposas amarillas, y la pareja bailando al son de la música con el traje típico de Colombia.

   Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, I have been uploading reviews for half a year now and you must know that there is nothing else that I love more than animation since it can transport the viewer to another magical reality with very easily; The keyword for the animation that I will review today is magic as it is the main theme of the animated movie "Encanto" which features humans with wondrous magical abilities.    Encanto fue estrenada en 2021, dirigida por Byron Howard y producida por Walt Disney Pictures, posee una duración de 1 hora y 49 minutos. Es una cinta animada y de fantasía cuya trama gira entorno a la familia Madrigal quienes poseen diferentes dones gracias a un milagro que le fue concedido a la abuela de la familia, esos dones los utilizan para mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas del pueblo. Desgraciadamente Mirabel pese a ser de la familia no posee un don por lo que le cuesta encajar y ser de utilidad, sin embargo tendrá un rol sin igual cuando la magia familiar esté en peligro.

   I have not yet seen a Disney movie that misuses its soundtrack, throughout the tape the music is not only used to generate a specific atmosphere but also to tell part of the story in a rhythmic and much more entertaining way following the characteristic disney stamp. The animation is splendid by presenting extremely vivid and colorful scenarios or gloomy and dark as the plot warrants.

   Aún no he visto una película de Disney que haga mal uso de su banda sonora, a lo largo de la cinta la música no solo se utiliza para generar un ambiente específico sino también para contar parte de la historia de forma rítmica y mucho más entretenida siguiendo el sello característico de Disney. La animación es esplendida al presentar escenarios sumamente vivos y coloridos o lúgubres y tenebrosos según lo amerite la trama.

   

   The construction of the world is very pleasant since it presents a very lively and cozy atmosphere typical of Latin countries, being that even clothing and gastronomy are established to denote without a doubt the culture of the small town in which the events take place. At the same time it also reflects a world in which magic is present and manifests itself through different abilities that have a small group of individuals, unfortunately this concept of magic is explored in the wrong way since it only establishes how the privileged with gifts should act in favor of the people but no more is explored about this fantasy being a real pity.

   La construcción de mundo es muy agradable puesto que presenta un ambiente muy vivo y acogedor típico de los países latinos, siendo que incluso se establecen vestimentas y gastronomía para denotar sin lugar a dudas la cultura del pequeño pueblito en el que se desarrollan los hechos. A su vez también se refleja un mundo en el que la magia está presente y se manifiesta mediante diferentes habilidades que poseen un grupo reducido de individuos, desgraciadamente este concepto de magia se explora de la forma incorrecta puesto que solo se establece el cómo los privilegiados con dones deben actuar en pro del pueblo más no se explora más acerca de esta fantasía siendo una verdadera lástima.

   The plot is extremely basic since it is the typical story in which something is in danger and the character in which you have the least faith is the one who ends up saving the day, something predictable and quite generic.    La trama es sumamente básica puesto que es la típica historia en la que algo se encuentra en peligro y el personaje en el que menos se tiene fe es el que termina salvando el día, algo predecible y bastante genérico. El hecho de que el conflicto principal no tenga realmente una consecuencia de peso es un gran inconveniente puesto que la tensión es inexistente y el carecer de un villano o antagonista tampoco la favorece, en general los inconvenientes que traerían el problema principal no son en absoluto amenazantes, lo peor que les puede pasar es volverse humanos normales ¿En serio eso es terrible? En absoluto, por lo que el conflicto principal pierde trascendencia.

   

   The characters are in short an empty shell, devoid of any intention of a characterization and much less a development; the members of the family have the obligation to use their skills for the benefit of the citizens of the town being a heavy burden for some, this generates that some become susceptible to such pressure, however it is not possible to take this responsibility seriously since the reason for carrying this burden is absurd and stupid since it only lies in making life easier for the villagers of the town who are totally able to fend for themselves.

   Los personajes son en resumidas palabras un cascaron vacío, carentes de cualquier intención de una caracterización y muchísimo menos un desarrollo; los miembros de la familia tienen la obligación de utilizar sus habilidades en beneficio de los ciudadanos del pueblo siendo una carga pesada para algunos, esto genera que algunos se vuelvan susceptibles a dicha presión, sin embargo no es posible tomarse en serio dicha responsabilidad puesto que el motivo de llevar dicha carga es absurdo y estúpido ya que solo radica en hacerle la vida más fácil a los aldeanos del pueblo quienes son totalmente capaces de valerse por sí mismos.

   Encanto is a film that has more flaws than successes, it lacks an element that makes the plot move logically, generating a meaningless pressure on some of its characters. Without a doubt it deserves 2.5 stars out of 7, it raises flimsy bases for the development of the plot and that unfortunately affects the rest of the elements, as well as the fact of including the worn message that 'We are all more complex than you think'

   Encanto es una película que tiene más fallos que aciertos, carece de un elemento que haga mover la trama de forma lógica, generando una presión carente de sentido sobre algunos de sus personajes. Sin lugar a dudas merece 2,5 estrellas de 7, plantea bases endebles para el desarrollo de la trama y eso repercute desgraciadamente en el resto de elementos, así como tampoco le beneficia el hecho de incluir el mensaje gastado de que "Todos somos más complejos de lo que se cree"

   Amigos, no les contaré el final, si la ven no se arrepentirán, Encanto es una película preciosa, me llegó directo al corazón, tiene tantas enseñanzas preciosas, me gustó mucho como trataron el tema de los traumas generacionales, del como a veces sin notarlo, arrastramos con nosotros cosas que no nos hacen bien ni a nosotros ni a los que amamos, Encanto es una película abierta a la interpretación personal, creo que hay escenas o momentos que logran dar en el clavo con algún sentimiento o situación presente en tu vida.

   La semana pasada les comente en el post de mis películas y series por ver este 2022 que me sentía atraída por la película de Disney que había estado viendo por todos lados. La verdad es que tuve la oportunidad de verla muy pronto en familia, y por ello he decidido hablarles sobre esta película, la trama, la historia y mis impresiones sobre ella.

   Empecemos hablando sobre la trama, esta película nos habla sobre una familia colombiana que tras un desplazamiento forzado y una gran tragedia se les otorga un milagro; el mismo no solo les da un lugar para vivir si no que también les otorga a cada uno de los integrantes de esta familia un don que les permite ayudar a los demás y ser una familia fundamental para la Aldea. Lo extraño es que Mirabel es la única que no tiene un don especial, y después de varios acontecimientos, el Encanto esta en peligro, es aquí donde nos adentramos en una trama que parece haber sido contada muchas veces pero que sin dudar ni un minuto... Tiene su encanto.

   Last week I told you in the post of my movies and series to watch this 2022 that I was attracted by the Disney movie that I had been seeing everywhere. The truth is that I had the opportunity to see it very soon with my family, and that is why I have decided to tell you about this movie, the plot, the story and my impressions about it.

   Let's start talking about the plot, this movie tells us about a Colombian family that after a forced displacement and a great tragedy is granted a miracle; it not only gives them a place to live but also gives each of the members of this family a gift that allows them to help others and be a fundamental family for the village.    Lo primero que debo decirles es que esta es una película muy visual, pero hermosa, realmente la paleta de colores es muy rica, los gráficos están muy bien hechas. Y también debo decirles que la parte musical le da mucha vida, todo esta muy bien pensando musicalmente hablando, los espectáculos se sienten como la época Dorada de Disney, así que siento infinitamente que la película esta tan bien hecha que vale la pena verla para darle su oportunidad de enamorarte o no con la trama.

   Otro aspecto importante es que sin dudarlo Disney toca un tema y aunque no profundizan en ello es notable: los desplazamientos forzados en Colombia, esto que forma parte de la historia social y política de un país que ha sido muy golpeado, así que le aplaudo a la compañía atreverse a reflejar una realidad que aunque recompensada con mucha magia logra su cometido: mostrar una historia.

   En cuanto a la trama, la verdad es que si, hemos visto esto muchas veces: un personaje que siente que no encaja demasiado bien con los demás, pero que realmente es muy especial. Sin embargo, esta formula realmente la disfruto porque no esta lejos de ser la realidad de muchas personas, además podemos resaltar que esta película nos hace ver lo que muchas familias pasan: integrantes dolidos, con heridas que lejos de sanar con el tiempo solo se vuelve más profundas y que muchas veces el exigir constantemente algo hace a las personas infelices por sentir que no son suficiente, no son aquello que tanto han escuchado deben ser. Es una historia con la que realmente cualquier persona puede identificarse, es una realidad de la sociedad.

   The first thing I must tell you is that this is a very visual movie, but beautiful, really the color palette is very rich, the graphics are very well done. And I must also tell you that the musical part gives it a lot of life, everything is very well thought out musically speaking, the shows feel like the Golden age of Disney, so I feel infinitely that the film is so well done that it is worth watching it to give it a chance to fall in love or not with the plot.

   Another important aspect is that without hesitation Disney touches on a topic and although they do not delve into it is remarkable: the forced displacement in Colombia, this is part of the social and political history of a country that has been hit hard, so I applaud the company for daring to reflect a reality that although rewarded with a lot of magic achieves its purpose: to show a story.

   As for the plot, the truth is that yes, we have seen this many times: a character who feels that he doesn't fit in too well with the others, but is really very special. However, I really enjoy this formula because it is not far from being the reality of many people, we can also highlight that this movie makes us see what many families go through: hurt members, with wounds that far from healing over time only becomes deeper and that many times the constant demand for something makes people unhappy because they feel they are not enough, they are not what they have heard so much they should be. It is a story that anyone can really identify with, it is a reality of society.

   Tocando el tema de los personajes, aunque todos son expuestos tras sus don, siento que realmente aparte de Mirabel, la abuela y Bruno ninguno de ellos es profundizado o tienen un crecimiento dentro de la trama realmente, solo nos dan pequeños vistazos de cada uno de ellos pero no vemos más capas o características; la verdad es que esto no me molesta, pero si es algo que quería resaltar.

   Hablando de la Abuela, sinceramente es uno de los personajes que más podía explotarse debido a su historia, una historia que conocemos literalmente en el final de la película y la cual nos hace entender porque la Abuela se comportaba como lo hacía: fue despojada de lo que era su hogar y además de quedo sola con 3 niños, apartando el tema de que perdió al amor de su vida... Esa junta de acontecimientos la hacen crear una coraza que en el fondo solo esconde una mujer llena de miedo de volver a perderlo todo.

   Encanto, es una película que agota quizá el recurso de la magia porque es este el que recompensa muchas otras cosas en la cinta; esto puede causar discordia: habrán personas que lo amen y otras lo odiaran; pero siendo sincera a mi me encanta la magia y siempre me ha gustado cuando el recurso es colocado en Disney porque es como volver a sus grandes clásicos.

   Touching on the characters, although they are all exposed behind their gifts, I feel that really apart from Mirabel, Grandma and Bruno none of them are deepened or have a growth within the plot really, we are only given small glimpses of each of them but we don't see more layers or characteristics; the truth is that this doesn't bother me, but it is something I wanted to highlight.

   Speaking of Grandma, honestly she is one of the characters that could be more exploited because of her story, a story that we literally know at the end of the movie and which makes us understand why Grandma behaved as she did: she was stripped of what was her home and also left alone with 3 children, apart from the fact that she lost the love of her life... This combination of events makes her create an armor that, deep down, only hides a woman full of fear of losing everything again.

   Enchantment, is a film that perhaps exhausts the resource of magic because it is the one that rewards many other things in the film; this can cause discord: there will be people who love it and others will hate it; but to be honest I love magic and I have always liked when the resource is placed in Disney because it is like going back to their great classics.

   La verdad es que esta película tiene grandes elementos que la conforman y siendo sinceros tenemos que admitir que es la primera película que intenta representar la cultura latina en otra nacionalidad, realmente esto se agradece mucho pero también es notable que la cultura colombiana no fue tan explicita hay aspectos como por ejemplo los acentos en el doblaje, algunas canciones con ritmo latino que rescatan el punto.

   ¿Qué me pareció la película? La verdad es que me gusto muchísimo, tiene algunas cosas que quizá me hubiese gustado fueran mejor como por ejemplo que se profundizara un poco más los personajes y que tuvieran más crecimiento dentro de la trama, pero la verdad es que los demás elementos la salvaron; la volvería a ver porque sinceramente es visualmente arte. Así que si aún no la han visto, les recomiendo que la vean y disfruten del Encanto.

The truth is that I liked it a lot, it has some things that perhaps I would have liked to be better, for example the characters were a little deeper and had more growth within the plot, but the truth is that the other elements saved it; I would see it again because it is sincerely visually art. So if you haven't seen it yet, I recommend you watch it and enjoy Enchantment.

   ENCANTO es la película animada más reciente de Disney. Ambientada en Colombia, la historia se centra en Mirabel, una joven perteneciente a la familia Madrigal, donde todos poseen un "don" o habilidad especial que los distingue, menos Mirabel. Cuando la fuente de estos dones y los milagros que rodean a la familia corre peligro, Mirabel deberá encontrar la forma de mantenerla viva, mientras descubre distintos secretos de su hogar.

   Como ya es costumbre por parte de Disney, ENCANTO es una película que se caracteriza por una animación muy trabajada y fluida, además de escenarios coloridos y una representación muy fiel a la cultura colombiana, con la que cualquier latinoamericano se puede sentir identificado. Así mismo, el apartado musical se siente muy emotivo y entretenido de escuchar, además de manejar un conflicto interno en el personaje de Mirabel que te hace empatizar con ella.

   Si bien esta película se ha hecho famosa por su gran cantidad de personajes variopintos, son muy pocos los que tienen un desarrollo o personalidad establecidos, por lo que la mayoría sólo quedan de relleno o de alivio cómico en ciertas ocasiones. La narrativa de ENCANTO también falla en momentos donde el tono y ritmo de la historia no son constantes, haciendo que la tensión se rompa en ocasiones. Y tratándose de una película de Disney, el final puede verse venir desde lejos y puede llegar a ser bastante cursi.

   ENCANTO es una película que te garantiza mucha diversión con canciones con significado y un mensaje de aceptación hacia uno mismo, pero se queda bastante corta tomando en cuenta que no explota del todo bien muchos de sus elementos.

And being a Disney film, the ending can be seen coming from afar and can become rather cheesy.

   ENCANTO is a movie guaranteed to be a lot of fun with meaningful songs and a message of self-acceptance, but it falls rather short considering that it doesn't fully exploit many of its elements.

   I have to admit from the start of this review that I am far from the target demographic for any Disney film. If my account here on Hive is anything to go by, it's clear that in almost five years of writing about movies and television shows, and building a community around it, that I have a very strong interest in international creations, where culture and languages have a significant impact on the narrative and filmmaking styles.

   Every so often, though, Disney does release something that does slightly lean more into my preference: featuring elements of culture, life, and language into an animation that can often be very creative and setting the bar for other animated productions to attempt to reach in terms of standards. These sadly seem to be becoming few and far between as the company focuses elsewhere in the age of streaming services and huge franchises.

   While Encanto isn't terrible, it certainly displays lost potential in its lack of substance due to a scattered number of characters and limited runtime. Very few of its ideas are given enough exposure in order to come into fruition, instead, it often dances around ideas in a formulaic structure and leaving you behind as you begin to want more depth in its characters and story.

   Encanto

   

   Encanto's narrative isn't anything difficult to go by: it follows the family of the Madrigals which live up in the mountains of Colombia. Their family, unlike the rest of their small town, are blessed with magical abilities in life, ultimately giving them purpose and defined characteristics that summarise who they are and what they are supposed to do. One character is blessed with incredible strength, and is capable of lifting all things and helping others out as a result. Another character is blessed with the ability to grow beautiful flowers at will, creating large quantities of colour and beauty wherever she pleases. It goes on.

   However, our protagonist, Mirabel, is the only family member to have not been blessed with a magical gift. As a result, she's directionless and jealous. There's no purpose for her in life, and she's seen as the outcast both within and outside of her family. If you haven't yet noticed where this narrative is going, you will soon under the typical Disney fashion of pursuing happiness and acceptance of the self in their stories. But we'll get to that later.

   These moments of context are often glimpsed over rather quickly, provided to us at the earliest convenience in quick lines of dialogue, but later on we're given a little more depth through the film's musical elements. Characters break into song and dance as they preach their struggles in life despite being blessed with magical abilities. We see that they're ultimately not happy and contain these rather strong expectations from others, they're rarely seen as just people and now suffer from the struggles of such a life.

   For the most part, these songs were bad enough to make me question whether or not I could continue watching. I knew there'd be musical aspects, as there always is, but I didn't think Disney -- especially modern Disney -- to make the decision to remove the elements of culture within the music. Sometimes, the music and their rhythms just felt so out of place, pulling you out of this idea of a magical place in the Colombian mountains where all is colourful and all are filled with joy; instead the music often felt generic, pop-ridden messes that you'd find on the declining radio stations that make you turn them off and sit in silence instead.

   Though the film still got its point across, it just did so in such a strange way that felt void of soul.

   A lack of culture, but strong meaning

   

   In the era of representation, I expected much more culture in Encanto. I expected something beyond simple accents and some architecture. It almost felt as if the filmmakers were afraid to actually make the film a cultural one rather than a westernised approach to some aspects of culture. Disney (Pixar) went in this direction in a prior cultural animated entry named Coco, which from what I recall was filled to the top with cultural themes.

   About a quarter through its runtime, Encanto seems to lose its personality a bit. Even the character designs don't feel as vibrant and interesting as they did prior. And the film takes an expected, but rather rushed turn into its core meaning: individualism.

   Culture is set aside, and we're instead given a lesson on what it means to be an individual. That ultimately we are not defined by our successes and talents, but it's who we are and how we react to people that matters. It shows us that humanity has taken a direction in which we quickly define people by their achievements and essentially rank each other based on them, rather than seeing the strengths in people that may not be academic, or strong, or musically talented; seeing how a person treats others and uses kindness to connect and make change in the world as an individual.

   Ultimately, this becomes a strength, we see how Mirabel uses her kindness, despite being void of any magical abilities, manages to bring people together and strengthen the areas of community and family through it.

   Sadly, this becomes lost again as the music kicks in and we're taken out of this immersion and thrown into generic pop music, where the cinematography takes a sudden turn and resembles modern music videos with strong camera angles that twist and turn to the point of near drunkenness. I assume that this was a decision in order to maintain the attention of younger audiences, rather than boring them to death. Though I feel it was a decision that ultimately harmed the film in the end.

   Visually beautiful, but nothing that stands out

   

   Encanto's visuals certainly don't raise the bar. Its animation and style is that of which we've seen many times in the past. But it is a very colourful film, and I enjoyed it for that. Even in its most frustrating moments, it still can impress with its use of colours and shapes as it follows the traditional Disney style of frequently changing environments and using style to promote a particular line either in or out of the musical moments.

   I almost feel as if the film could've removed the musical side entirely and used the rather large amount of time lost from songs to focus more on the characters and their depth through dialogue. Perhaps giving us more of the environment they're in and witnessing the decline of community and family as it's slowly rekindled by Mirabel's efforts.

   Through this we would have had much more insight into the characters and been able to feel more connected to them. To understand them and see who they really are outside of their magical abilities. The use of songs meant a strong focus around their abilities, which seemed strange given the narrative's push to display that we are much more than those.

   Sadly, most of the characters are just plot devices. Used merely for a quick laugh or when the narrative needs them. Meaning we don't really see much else from them outside of the songs which are used to display their context and depth as characters. This is where much of the film feels far too rushed, since such songs often carry on for around five minutes. I think some people watching from home may even consider just skipping through these segments after a while.

   Lost potential, but still enjoyable

   

   Encanto is far from the peak of Disney's capabilities in the world of storytelling and animation, but it's still an experience that you can enjoy despite its weaknesses. I liked the idea, and the ability to promote community and family connection over the more artificial methods of branding that we've created in society. It just doesn't expand upon it enough, sadly. I feel that watching Encanto just makes you feel that itch to check out other Disney feels that do have that extra polishing and substance; Wall-E being a film that quickly comes to mind.

   It's worth mentioning that modern Disney feels are much like their former self, just slightly void of the creativity that pushed them into the spotlight. There's still meaning behind the story, there's still some pretty shots, and there's still those moments that make it clear that the film is aimed at families, for a wide demographic to sit down and watch together. While it may have missed the spot with me, I'm sure it perfectly hits the spot for others. I certainly can't fault it for that.

   I'd be happy to see Disney take this concept of culture and expand upon it in future films, however. I feel the area of culture specifically is one that is often overlooked. And I believe Disney certainly has some improvements to make in order to fill that space. Whether that will happen with future entries or not is a big question to ask, particularly when we understand that these films are made by Disney, who ultimately just want to make the largest amount of money possible without really alienating anyone.

    Definitivamente ENCANTO causó en mí cosas que no puedo describir tan fácilmente. He llorado, amado y sentido esta hermosa película con cada parte de mí, creo que lo que escribiré es muy personal, pero ¡Respira Eli! aquí va.

    Por mucho tiempo me sentí Mirabel, luego de ser bien Bruno. Soy de las que creen en los dones, pues me han pasado cosas, y si, de niña y en mi juventud fui muy Bruno jajaja, al punto de esconder lo que había en mí y ya no quererlo.

    I definitely LOVED it caused things in me that I can't describe so easily. I have cried, loved and felt this beautiful movie with every part of me, I think what I will write is very personal, but breathe Eli! here it goes.

    Veía cosas, soñaba cosas y pasaban, muchas cosas de las que soñaba eran malas. Como cuando soñé que a mis hermanos menores le robaban la bicicleta, yo apenas tenia 12 o 13 años. Ellos reunieron, recolectaron latas de aluminio para tener el dinero suficiente y comprar su bicicleta, la compraron con esfuerzo y mucha alegría, pero Eli Bruno, dañó el ENCANTO.

    Many know me for being the one who says, "We all have the ability to shine brightly," and I definitely do, but how did I come to understand that? Wow! ENCANTO describes it perfectly. And it will sound weird, but when I was a kid everyone expected a lot from me and I just wanted to be me.

    I saw things, I dreamed things and they happened, a lot of the things I dreamed were bad. Like when I dreamt that my younger brothers had their bikes stolen, I was only 12 or 13 years old. They gathered, collected aluminum cans to have enough money to buy their bike, they bought it with effort and a lot of joy, but Eli Bruno, damaged the ENCANTO.

    Eli soñó que ellos iban a jugar donde un vecino, dejaban la bicicleta guardada atrás y unos chicos más grandes entraron y se la robaban, Eli no dijo su sueño, pues siempre soñaba cosas malas, que por lo general se cumplían y justo todo pasó tal cual Eli lo había soñado.

    Cuando mi hermano regresó llorando, contando lo que había pasado, yo lo interrumpí, y terminé de contar la historia. Todos me vieron y el preguntó "¿Cómo lo supiste? Así mismo fue", le dije que lo había soñado y creo que fue un error decirlo 😅🙈 Mi hermano empezó a llorar más, pero no olvidé lo que dijo: "¡Es tu culpa, por haberlo soñado, si tan sólo me hubieras dicho!".

    Fue duro oír esas palabras, pero entiendo él era tan solo un niño. Yo no quise contar nada, pues era muy apocalíptica, todo lo malo sucedía y muchos eran mis sueños 😪, así que no quería soñar más, ni ver cosas que podían pasar y comencé a no hablar de eso y ya no querer ser como BRUNO.

    It was hard to hear those words, but I understand he was just a child. I didn't want to tell anything, because I was very apocalyptic, everything bad happened and many were my dreams 😪, so I didn't want to dream anymore, or see things that could happen and I started not to talk about it and no longer wanted to be like BRUNO.

    Literal, y sé que muchos no lo van a entender, incluso me dirán mentirosa o rara, pero no me importa. Yo era tipo el niño del Sexto Sentido, ¿lo recuerdan?, "veo gente muerta" y no, no daba risa y tampoco me da risa ahora. Era sumamente estresante, angustiante y doloroso saberlo antes que todos.

    En una ocasión me tocó decirle a una señora lo que vi en su casa, un lazo de luto, por su hermana y así fue. ¡Y que feo Eli la apocalíptica soñando y viendo cosas de nuevo! Yo ya no quería y dejó de pasar, poco a poco de tanto pedir ya no querer tenerlo.

    No me tengan miedo, no soñaré con ustedes jajaja

    Literally, and I know that many will not understand, they will even call me a liar or weird, but I don't care. I was like the kid in the Sixth Sense, remember him, "I see dead people" and no, it wasn't funny and it's not funny to me now. It was extremely stressful, distressing and painful to know before everyone else.

    Y fue entonces que me convertí en Mirabel, tratando siempre de dar lo mejor de mí, tratando siempre de arreglar todo, de ayudar, de hacer, aún cuando no veían mis esfuezos y aún cuando no me sentía parte del resto, por que nadie me contaba nada o involucraban en cosas.

    Comencé a hacerme daño, creyendo que no tenía ese brillo especial por ser diferente y me esforcé tanto, que llegó a doler y mucho. Que llegué a sentir cosas malas y pensar que por más que me esforzaba era en vano, pues siempre verían lo peor de mí.

    Resulta que ninguna familia es mala y la mía menos. Los amo, aún con todo lo raro que somos y las diferencias que podamos tener y que bueno que somos distintos, pues de eso se trata. Pero justo la familia y quienes más amas, son quienes más daño pueden hacerte y a quienes más solemos herir.

    Esta historia trata de la familia Madrigal. Cuando Alma y Pedro tuvieron que huir de su hogar con sus trillizos Juliana, Pepa y Bruno y Pedro fue muerto por unos forajidos, en ese momento la vela de alma se transformó en mágica, e hizo aparecer una casita y a cada miembros de la familia que iba naciendo le daban un don.     Opinión Personal

    Bueno en mi opinión esperaba algo mejor, tiene una trama buena no digo cautivante pero, está llena de color, pero debió de llamarse desencanto, esperaba una sorpresa con el don de Mirabel, además siento que la historia quedo algo corta y tuvo un final muy rematado, claro que al final ella le dio vida a la casita, el don de Mirabel era unir a la Familia por eso se derrumbó la casita, pero el pueblo al que la familia Madrigal le había dedicado su vida, se la construyeron, como lo hizo su abuela Alma en años anteriores. Esta película está basada sin duda en la Familia y el Amor hacia ella, Bruno jamás se fue de la casa porque la amaba, pero la Abuela Alma Matrona de la Casita quería perfección en todo, y no todo siempre sale perfecto, la idea como tal de la película es hacer comprender a las personas que no siempre se puede ser fuerte o hermoso, el crear expectativas en la imagen de los demás o esperar cosas de ellos, crea presión, las personas no deben de hacer expectativas en la vida de otras personas ya que tenemos que vivir de acuerdo a nuestro propio pensamiento, y se fiel a nosotros mismo, la perfección son aquellas cosas que no necesariamente son perfectas y aunque suene irónico es así , somos perfectos cuando somos nosotros mismos.

A su vez podemos apreciar muchas imagenes etnia.

    Esta pelicula ademas de que se cenra en la cultura, vestimenta, gastronomia en la parte de Colombia, centra a los valores de la familia , en donde se detalla la importancia de cada ser querido en la familia, en como no podemos menospreciar a una persona por no poseer la misma cualidades , en donde siempre existe una persona que lleva la tradicion que estan de partes de los abuelos y padres aqui podemos ver eso en el personaje Alma Madrigal, en donde hay quien lleva la carga familiar y quiere resolver las cosas mas grandes aqui la podemos ver en Luisa, en la que escucha y todo lo cuenta, en el joven que esta descubriendo su personalidad.

    Hello friends, yesterday I saw with my nephews a movie that we had wanted to see for a long time "Encanto", the truth is that this film is one of the best of Disney, for the message it leaves and everything it inspires. Their songs are beautiful and catchy that make you emotional along with the characters.

    Hola amigos ayer vi junto a mis sobrinos una película que hacía rato deseábamos ver “Encanto”, la verdad que esta cinta es una de las mejores de Disney, por el mensaje que deja y todo lo que inspira. Dirigida por Jared Bush, Byron Howard y Charise Castro Smith, esta película es una de las mejores cintas de animación y musical que he visto. Sus canciones son hermosas y pegajosas que te emocionan junto con los personajes.

Usando el realismo mágico nos da a conocer los miembros de la familia Madrigal que fundaron el pueblo. Abro un paréntesis para decir que el comienzo de esta película me recuerda mucho con sus distancias al libro de Gabriel García Márquez, 100 años de Soledad y la familia Buendía. Desconozco si inspiro esta cinta, pero tienen ciertas similitudes.

Pero por alguna razón uno de sus miembros carece de este don (Mirabel), ella a pesar de no poseer ningún don es una chica alegre, que siempre ayuda a todos. Mirabel se da cuenta que algo raro está pasando con la magia y decide hacer algo para buscar una solución.

    Una de las frases que me encantó es cuando la madre de Mirabel le dice: “Todos los problemas se resuelven con una arepa”, una metáfora que se me quedo grabada y que encanto. Sino haz visto aun esta película y te gusta la animación, no pierdas la oportunidad de disfrutarles es una cinta llena de mensajes subliminales hermosos que no solo es para chicos es para toda la familia, para mi es un 10 sin dudar por toda lo que te recuerda y enseña a través de sus mensajes.

Che potere ha chi, non avendo (apparentemente) nessun talento interrompe la linea genealogica di una famiglia superdotata? Come può tenere acceso il fuoco chi è abituato a vivere nell’oscurità, nell’ombra e sembra non essere in grado di bruciare?

    Disney continua la linea narrativa di quelle viti e di quelle vite storte che fanno della stortura, dell’eccezione, della mancanza, un marchio identitario e distintivo. Ecco che in una società performativa, la salvezza sta nel ridimensionamento dell’ego, nel riconoscimento dei limiti, nell’accettazione dell’errore e dell’imperfezione. Se anche i fiori più belli e colorati hanno le spine e se anche le stelle più luminose per brillare, bruciano, allora non essere mai abbastanza, non essere sufficienti non è una colpa ma la particolarità, la differenza che fa la differenza. E magari gli occhiali (è la prima volta che la protagonista di un film Disney li indossa) servono a vedere meglio, a vedere oltre. Oltre le macerie da cui ripartire per ricostruire, quando gli affetti e i legami sono più forti di qualsiasi potere soprannaturale. Il fuoco è quello sacro e divino del focolare che protegge una famiglia e una comunità intera.

    Disney va sempre al di là delle immagini e della storia e sotto il manto bello, vivace e colorato dei disegni, dei personaggi e delle musiche si cela una lezione di convivialità delle differenze (a dirla con le parole di don Tonino Bello) in controcorrente con una società, quella attuale, la nostra, ossessionata dalla performance, dal multitasking, dal risultato, dall’omologazione e dal conformismo. È nel contrasto e nell’incontro dell’altro diverso da noi che si dialoga e si costruisce la propria identità e ci si distingue. Al contrario, essere come tutti vale a dire non essere nessuno. Anche un talento può schiacciare e opprimere chi non sa chi è.

    Un ‘encanto’, in ogni senso.

    Hace algunas semanas se estrenó "Encanto" una película de Disney inspirada en Colombia y sus tradiciones, cuando oí por primera vez de la película me emocioné mucho ya que soy mitad colombiana y si Disney podría hacer algo como Coco o el libro de la vida con nuestras costumbres sería genial, ya que el mundo aprendería de ellas y nosotros nos sentiríamos representados. En este post les daré mi opinión de la película.

    La película nos cuenta la vida de los Madrigal, una familia que luego de haber sido víctimas de la violencia fueron dotados con dones. Un día estos dones se ven amenazados y es Mirabel, la única de la familia que no posee poderes quien podrá salvarlos.

    Lo que me gustó

    

    La película refleja algo que es muy común en las familias latinas (y me disculpan la generalización) pero siento que en estas familias (incluso la mía) los miembros viven para llenar un ideal de perfección que en la mayoría de los casos se hace insostenible, arrastrando a las personas a sentirse muy mal cuando fallan o cuando no son perfectas, esto lo vemos reflejado en Luisa y Isabela. Esto también genera quienes "no cumplan" este ideal sean rechazados o aislados como en el caso de Bruno. Lo bueno es que al final la película nos deja una enseñanza muy bonita y es que mientras la familia esté unida todo estará bien y estos ideales de perfección terminan siendo superfluos.

    

    También me gustó mucho el soundtrack, Carlos Vives fue una elección muy correcta para traer la música típica colombiana a la actualidad y para hacerla apta para audiencias no-latinas, se hace muy divertida. Otra cosa que me gustó muchísimo fue la inclusión de la fauna, el cuarto de Camilo y el papel que juegan los animalitos incluidas las mariposas en la película me pareció bastante acertado, especialmente los capibaras bebés o chigüiritos como decimos nosotros. También me pareció muy bueno que a pesar de que se mantuvieron en un castellano neutral agregaron palabras de jerga colombiana. Por último, me gustó mucho que incluyeran una protagonista con lentes y de cabello rulo y que se mostrará la diversidad racial colombiana, es importante sentirse representado, sobre todo para los niños, que son la audiencia principal de esta película.

    Lo que no me gustó

    A pesar de que siento que acertaron con ciertas cosas, me esperaba una película más colombiana, no se si me estoy explicando bien, pero me parece que pudo estar más orientada en Colombia y sus tradiciones, más que usar esto de contexto para contar una historia o al menos esto era lo que yo esperaba de la película y en ese aspecto la expectativa no fue cumplida.

    

    En general la película es bastante buena y pienso que es un paso importante para enseñar a las personas no latinas sobre la riqueza cultural de Latinoamérica, ya que a pesar de que estamos tan juntos, cambian bastante de país a país.     A few weeks ago "Encanto" a Disney movie inspired by Colombia and its traditions was released, when I first heard about the movie I was very excited because I am half Colombian and if Disney could do something like Coco or the book of life with our customs it would be great, because the world would learn from them and we would feel represented. In this post I will give you my opinion of the movie.

    The movie tells us the life of the Madrigals, a family that after being victims of violence were endowed with gifts. One day these gifts are threatened and it is Mirabel, the only one of the family who has no powers who can save them.

    What I liked

    

    The film reflects something that is very common in Latino families (and excuse the generalization) but I feel that in these families (including mine) the members live to fulfill an ideal of perfection that in most cases becomes unsustainable, dragging people to feel very bad when they fail or when they are not perfect, we see this reflected in Luisa and Isabela. This also generates those who "do not meet" this ideal to be rejected or isolated as in the case of Bruno. The good thing is that in the end the film leaves us with a very beautiful lesson: as long as the family is united everything will be fine and these ideals of perfection end up being superfluous.

    

    I also liked the soundtrack, Carlos Vives was a very good choice to bring the typical Colombian music to the present and to make it suitable for non-Latino audiences, it is very funny. Another thing I really liked was the inclusion of the fauna, Camilo's room and the role of the animals including the butterflies in the movie, especially the baby capybaras or chigüiritos as we say. I also thought it was very good that even though they kept it in neutral Spanish they added Colombian slang words. Finally, I really liked that they included a protagonist with glasses and curly hair and that they showed the Colombian racial diversity, it is important to feel represented, especially for children, who are the main audience of this film.

    What I didn't like

    Although I feel that they got certain things right, I expected a more Colombian film, I don't know if I'm explaining myself well, but it seems to me that it could have been more oriented in Colombia and its traditions, rather than using this as a context to tell a story or at least this was what I expected from the film and in that aspect the expectation was not fulfilled.

    

    Overall the movie is quite good and I think it is an important step to teach non Latinos about the cultural richness of Latin America, because even though we are so close together, they change a lot from country to country. That's all for today, thanks for making it this far, bye!

    Mi opinión sobre Encanto, la nueva película de Disney

    ¿Que es Lo bueno y lo malo?

    Como les he contado antes soy fan de las películas Disney las películas animadas, en lo personal mis favoritas son las primeras de las princesas, Mulan y Cenicienta son las que más me gustan, puedo considerar como mis favoritas. Últimamente las que han salido no me han logrado atrapar, en especial Raya, esta si considero que fue bastante mala y aburrida, pero esta logro atrapar muchísimo, no es de el agrado de todos pero si la gran mayoría habla de ella y usan sus canciones para hacer algunos Tik toks.

    Aquí les cuento un poco de lo que trata la historia por si aún no la han visto (claramente hay spoilers). La película empieza con la Abuela Madrigal contándole a nuestra protagonista Mirabel el como su familia obtuvo un gran milagro(su abuelo Pedro se sacrificó por el pueblo, para que todos pudieran unir), y como este por generaciones a todos sus integrantes les ha dado un don y es el turno de la pequeña Mirabel, luego vemos la película años después y nos muestra que en la ceremonia de está algo paso que no recibió un don, y ahora si empieza todo.

    Nos muestra a Maribel intentando hacer todo por ser de ayuda para la familia y para el pueblo, la familia Madrigal es la más importante del pueblo ya que fue la que recibió el don y los salvo, cada uno de esta familia le sirve al pueblo, entre los dones de ellos encontramos:

    Pepa Controla en clima y sus hijos Dolores Puede escuchar absolutamente todo lo que pase en el pueblo (algo chismosita, si), Camilo Se puede transformar en cualquier persona que vea y Antonio Habla con los animales

    Julieta Tiene el don de sanar a todos con sus comidas y sus hijas Isabela ayuda con la flora, Luisa tiene una fuerza bruta, puede cargar cualquier cosa, esta es la familia de Mirabel pero claro ella no tiene don.

    Por último está Bruno este tiene visiones, de este se cree que todas sus visiones son malas, este escapó de la familia y no se puede mencionarle a él ni lo que le pasó, este no tuvo hijos.

    Los 3 hermanos son Trillizos, En esta película intentaron darle una gama de colores a cada uno para que sea más fácil diferencial de quienes sin hijos, así que los que tienen unos tonos más cálidos son la familia de Pepa y los que tienen tonos más fríos son la familia de Julieta.

    La película nos muestra que están con la intriga de una nueva ceremonia para recibir el don, en este caso es la de Antonio, el hijo menor de Pepa, todos tienen ese pequeño temor que le llegará a pasar lo mismo que a Mirabel, todos están ayudando y acomodando todo y Mirabel intenta ayudar todo pero a su manera, por lo que prácticamente la mayoría de su familia (en especial su abuela y su hermana mayor) la hacen menos.

    Llega la ceremonia y todo ocurre Perfecto, Antonio recibe su don y aquí se empieza ver un poco más lo excluida que tienen a la protagonista, en ese momento Justo la casa empiezan a salir grietas y la magia empieza a decaer (creo que no les he contado pero la casa es mágica, tiene vida) pero solo ella lo logra ver, cuando va a donde su familia todos piensan que es mentira y no logran ver nada.

    La familia aunque no lo admitió si sintió esa pequeña decaída de la magia (está es representada por una vela, si esta se apaga el “milagro” se pierde) así que se dio a la tarea de averiguar que fue lo que ocurrió para así también encontrar respuestas de ella, lo primero es buscar la última visión de Bruno y ver el porqué él huyó (le recuerden que aquí no se puede mencionarlo, ya que abandono a la familia) entra a su habitación a buscar respuestas (cada uno tiene una habitación mágica dependiendo de su don) cuando esta encuentra la visión, se ve en ella, por lo que se empieza a preocupar aún más, ya que ella al parecer es la responsable de todo, su papá se entera que encontró todo eso y le pide que no diga nada ya que su hermana mayor estaba a punto de comprometerse y la abuela quería todo Perfecto.

    En esto adivinen quien escucho? Dolores, por lo que claramente no guardo el secreto y todo se supo, Luisa no tenía fuerza, Pepa en crisis causando huracanes. Todo se arruinó.

    Mirabel se da cuenta que unas ratitas se escapan con la visión de su tío Bruno, por lo que las empieza a seguir y se da cuenta que entre las paredes vive su tío, el que nunca abandonó la casa, estuvo viviendo entre sus paredes reparando todo, este “escapó” por salvar a su sobrina, ya que este tuvo esa visión el día que la niña no recibió el don (la abuela se lo pidió porque sentía que la magia bajaba) al ver que su futuro era incierto no dijo nada, ya que solo pensaban que predecía cosas malas. En esto Mirabel lo convence de intentar ver el futuro de nuevo, sigue viendo ese futuro incierto pero logra ver más allá y ve una reconciliación y que así se salvaba la magia, ella pensó que era con su hermana mayor ya que no se la llevaba para nada bien, cuando intenta reconciliarse con ella nos enteramos que no es tan perfecta como todos piensan y que mucho menos se quiere casar.

    En este punto la verdad nos damos cuenta que TODA la familia sentía que estaba cargando con un peso gigante y es el peso de considerarse una familia perfecta, hacer todo sin ningún error, dejando de ser ellos mismos por siempre tener la aceptación de la abuela. Cuando todo esto ocurre hay un pequeño conflicto con Mirabel y la Abuela por esto y la casa de derrumba, se pierde la magia y Mirabel se siente culpable y huye.

    La abuela y Mirabel se encuentran, se empiezan a reconciliar y la abuela empieza a contar cómo ocurrió todo y como obtuvieron el milagro y como era su vida antes, resulta que ellos vivían todos en un pueblo y allí conoció al abuelo Pedro, estuvieron juntos y tuvieron 3 hijos, unos lindos trillizos, cuando una noche unos jinetes los empiezan a sacar de su hogar (aquí tengo entendido que se hace referencia al desplazamiento que surgen los colombianos) cuando estos están huyendo, los logran alcanzar y Pedro por salvar a su familia se sacrifica por lo que así reciben el don.

    Todo esto dejó a la abuela marcada por lo que cuando agarro fuerza tomó las riendas de su familia y se preocupó por siempre ser lo mejor, pero esto la cegó un poco y les estaba era haciendo daño. Se reconcilian todos y junto al pueblo construyen de nuevo su casita, y esta cobra la magia nueva mente.

    Esta película la verdad me gusto muchísimo, tiene una animación muy linda, su familia tiene bastante diversidad, por lo que claramente te puedes sentir identificado con alguno de ellos, siento que tiene un buen conflicto y un lindo mensaje, me lleno bastante de sentimiento y puedo considerar que es una de mis favoritas, su música me encanta, escuchar a Carlos Vives, Sebastiana Yatra me lleno de emoción, escuchar la voz de Maluma y Alejandro Riaño hizo sentir todo mucho más especial. Me parece excelente que nos traiga un problema más realista que es la aceptación de nuestra familia, esta no cuenta con ningún villano.

    Su música es la más pegadiza, son de ritmos variados y todas cuentan y nos hacen conocer más de los personajes. Mi favorita es la canción No se habla de Bruno creo que es la mejor escúchenla es la mejor

    Pero a pesar de todo esto se que tiene algunos contras por lo cual algunas personas no les gustó o no les encajó del todo, unas cosas fue de las que les faltó explorar un poco más lo que es Colombia, a que digo con eso, que todo pasa en un pueblito mágico, no hay algo que te diga “eso es Colombia” no hay algo que te haga identificarlo fácilmente como pasa con la película de coco que claramente sabemos que es Mexico porque habla del día de los muertos que es una de las cosas mas características de allá.

    Nota Se da a entender que Mirabel no tiene don por lo que fue mandada por el abuelo Pedro para unir a la familia y recuperar el milagro, pero si no tuvo el don porque se limpió la magia antes de tocar su puerta? 🥺 ustedes que piensan?

    Disney, ha presentado su última producción infantil de la mano de Pixar. Un reto bastante complicado dado que su antecesora "Coco" había sido un éxito rotundo. La película se llama "Encanto" y en esta, Disney vuelve a explorar un país latinoamericano, en este caso Colombia, aunque no está claro, se entiende por la música y porque el tema principal es interpretado por Carlos Vives y todas tienen ritmo de vallenato, cumbia, pop y hasta rap. No se tocaron temas de la idiosincrasia o creencia colombiana, como se hizo con Coco que exploraba la forma en que los mexicanos afrontan la muerte y los altares que hacen en honor de sus difuntos. En Encanto hay una fantasía intrínseca desde que comienza, el móvil principal es la huída de una de las protagonistas de su pueblo natal porque un "grupo armado" los obliga y la postre causa una terrible desgracia en la familia. Muy a lo Cien años de soledad se funda un pueblo en el medio de la selva, así de la nada y es sustentado con la magia que en un momento dado se pone en riesgo y la única de la familia Madrigal que no tiene poderes mágicos es la que salvará la familia y la magia.

    El argumento es bastante plano. Debo decir que no es de mis películas favoritas de Disney, no la volvería a ver, las canciones no son apoteósicas, no encantan y como en Coco no hay ninguna distintiva como Llorona para México y también debo decir que Colombia tiene un acervo musical bastante amplio, Disney, pudo haber hecho uso del mismo. Por otro lado está el mensaje, la moraleja subyacente me resulta bastante cuestionable y es un patrón que Disney ha repetido desde hace muchas décadas y no es otro que la necesidad de encajar de sus personajes, la necesidad de la aceptación de los terceros y de hacer felices a los demás. Está muy bien la faceta del desprendimiento y la capacidad de ser solidario, pero en los tiempos que corren, pienso que un mensaje de autosuperación, felicidad a pesar de que la misma no cuadre con el status quo sería un valuarte impresionante en el viraje que la casa de Mickey Mouse está dando en sus películas carentes de villanos y de escenas frenéticas de riesgo y acción.

    Es hora de que se empiece a decir a los más jóvenes que no es importante complacer a la familia (básicamente ese es el origen de las frustraciones adultas) ni encajar en un mundo moralmente estrecho, sino ser feliz como se es y como se quiere ser. Finalmente, los gráficos, la fotografía y los colores son en verdad una joya visual, definitivamente una caricia para las pupilas, pero igual la recomiendo. El tema familiar lo tocan con mucho respeto y resulta conmovedor. Mi opinión no debe interceder en que cada uno que me lee en esta comunidad de hive pueda forjarse la suya propia.

    Hola querida comunidad de Hive, en esta ocasión quisiera hablarles un poco sobre una película que ví hace poco y me gustó mucho, creo que sabemos cuál es ya que salió hace poco. Se llama encanto y de verdad que me dejó encantada, quiero aclarar que esto no contiene spoilers de la trama pero si opiniones un poco superficiales de lo que sucede en la película.

    Bueno está se estrenó hace poco, la verdad tengo mucho tiempo sin ver una película de Disney, la última que ví fue Coco y se convirtió en una de mis películas favoritas y más emotivas. La animación de encantó es muy colorida y alegre, un dato curioso es que está inspirada en Colombia y da mucha referencias del mismo país en el trascurso de la película, otra cosa que me gustó de la animación es que se apega mucho a la antes película mencionada (Coco) y eso me hizo sentir nostalgia.

    Las canciones son pegadizas, siempre hay de ellas en toda la película pero no estorban, son muy bonitas y están acompañadas con buenas escenas. Considero que la historia transcurre rápido aunque eso es normal, es una película de 90 minutos por eso tampoco me quejo, la protagonista Mirabel es muy dulce y considero que muchos no hemos sentidos identificados con ella, a veces solo queremos encajar en nuestra familia y ser apreciados de la misma manera.

    The songs are catchy, there are always some of them throughout the movie but they don't get in the way, they are very nice and are accompanied by good scenes. I consider that the story goes fast although that is normal, it is a 90 minutes movie so I am not complaining either, the main character Mirabel is very sweet and I consider that many of us have not felt identified with her, sometimes we just want to fit in our family and be appreciated in the same way.

    La figura principal de la familia Madrigal es la abuela, todos se rigen por ella y eso lo vemos a lo largo de la película. Mirabel es solo una nieta que se siente desplazada por no tener un don, pero a pesar de ello quiere a su familia y quiere salvar el milagro, algo que me gustó bastante de esta película es que muestra los problemas familiares así como a su vez de una manera un poco irónico y fantasiosa los roles de las personas en una familia, como alguien puede ser sobre exigido o aparentar ser perfecto.

    The main figure in the Madrigal family is the grandmother, everyone is ruled by her and we see that throughout the film. Mirabel is just a granddaughter who feels displaced for not having a gift, but despite this she loves her family and wants to save the miracle, something I liked a lot about this film is that it shows the family problems as well as in a somewhat ironic and fanciful way the roles of people in a family, as someone can be over demanded or appear to be perfect.

    Aquí en verdad no hay villanos, considero que solo reina un antagonista y es el apego a el “encanto”. La abuela por guardar los dones que dan aquellos talentos, servir al pueblo, por ser importantes y por ser la respetada familia Madrigal olvidó que lo más hermoso y el milagro que existe en verdad en la familia, la unión y la felicidad. Un hogar se va destruyendo a través de grietas hechas por divisiones y infelicidad de sus integrantes por no ser ellos mismos, por tantas razones que se pueden ver en esta película y de verdad me encanto el final de ella, dónde si podemos profundizar nos damos cuenta del lindo mensaje que da.

    Mirabel siempre tuvo un talento y es el ver las cosas, sentirlas y sobre todo el amor a su familia. Es una hermosa película que junto a Coco me hicieron soltar lágrimas al momento de terminar de verlas, si no la han visto no pierdan la oportunidad de hacerlo.

    Hola cinéfilos, no veo mejor manera de comenzar el año 2022 que con un paseo al cine, algo muy recurrente en mi matrimonio, desde el noviazgo nos caracterizábamos por frecuentar la sala de cine en nuestras citas, siempre que la elección de la película la realizaba uno de los dos médiate turnos, en esta ocasión y luego de que casi me pidiera el divorcio por ver Matrix 4 le correspondía a ella elegir (por supuesto que estoy bromeando con lo del divorcio).

    A ambos nos gustan las películas infantiles de este tipo, de hecho, así como lo menciono en el video, nuestra primera película juntos fue Minions, ¿ a quien se le ocurre ver Minions en la primera cita? quizás solo a nosotros.

    Es una película atractiva para el Latino ya que nos muestra rasgos culturales de nuestras tierras, sobre todo, para Colombia y Venezuela, animales muy conocidos de nuestro territorio, incluso el lenguaje o vestimenta. Una película con un mensaje familiar muy marcado y que llega fácilmente al espectador de cualquier edad.

    En cuanto a la trama la película se desarrolla de manera muy fácil, con un toque de misterio y magia que esta introducido al igual que COCO, de hecho al ver esta película fue inevitable pensar en esa película ganadora del Oscar, tiene muchas similitudes contando el parecido en cuanto a animación.

    Así como lo menciono en el video, este puede ser un debate eterno, en una de las escenas la arepa es la protagonista e inmediatamente para el espectador venezolano pensamos en la siguiente pregunta: ¿La arepa no es de origen venezolano?; como venezolano la arepa es indispensable en nuestra diera y cultura gastronómica, sin embargo, les traigo un articulo de la BBC sobre este tema.

    La película trasmite buenas emociones, la animación es muy buena y agradable a la vista, la trama posee algunos baches pero nada fuera de lo normal, la propuesta de reflejar la cultura latinoamericana entorno a un tema familiar así como en COCO es el principal atractivo para ver esta película, sin embargo, a diferencia de esta y de varias películas de Disney, las canciones a mi parecer no son comparables con otras famosas producciones, a pesar de escuchar el ritmo latino con un toque colombiano distintivo no hay canciones que recordemos por mucho tiempo, incluso a mi parecer agregaron canciones donde terminaban sobrando.

    About two years ago, I was complaining about Disney animated films, and here I am - which I liked. As if out of spite, as if Mickey Mouse's studio wanted to play a trick on me. I wrote about this fairy tale in the news, but to be honest, I did not wait for the premiere. I didn't see any trailer, didn't read much about the plot, didn't read any reviews, so the movie was like a blank piece of paper to me. So I had no expectations of him, I just turned it on to have a nice 1.5 hours of Sunday with my girlfriend. It was not a great screening that I remember like "Soul" or recently reviewed "Coco", but I had as much fun as on "Raya and the Last Dragon". So in short - nice animation, nice CGI, expressive but uncomplicated characters, simple but understandable moral, an equally simple and well-written story, surprisingly nice songs, and humor. I do not know if they faithfully portrayed Colombian culture (in the case of "Coco" and "Ray ..." it was easier, because I read about the things shown in the former a long time ago, and in the case of the latter ... half of my anime life, so I saw something, heard it or read it whether I wanted it or not), so I assume it was more or less on a similar level.

    

    The plot tells about a family that was forced to flee from their family home. We do not find out why, if I had to bet, I would say that the culprits are the military junta or ordinary bandits who expelled them or threatened with death. A family of 4 goes to a magical place. Unfortunately, the father could not be happy with his three children and his wife, because he died just before that. The candle got magical powers, built them a house or built it with other people (forgive me, I forgot, but this is the very beginning of the movie), which has magical powers. Something like Nivellen's mansion from S2E1 "Witcher", but on a much larger scale - it can communicate with its inhabitants, helps them and other people in various daily activities - climbing stairs, descending from them, setting the table, getting ready to leave, etc. Such a "Smart House" powered by magic. The family developed, new people appeared, began to gain magical powers thanks to the ritual, which they decided to use for the good of the local community. Skills like - super strength, eternal youth, the ability to make contact with animals, foreseeing the future, etc. Except for one girl - Mirabel was the only one who did not get magical powers.

    

    Such a repetitive pattern that we can often find in American or Japanese comics - just because you don't have super powers doesn't mean you can't do anything, or because you don't have super powers doesn't make you worthless etc. As in the case of the other morals, they are presented so simply that children have no problem understanding them, but they are also expressive enough to be remembered by the viewer. Also of the adult, because you can find here things that we sometimes forget in everyday life. This is not the level of the movies I mentioned at the beginning, but it is good enough that you will find something for yourself. It is similar with characters that are simple yet expressive creations. The creators cleverly combined the archetypes of human behavior with magic, which allows you to easily show different things. People's problems are how they are perceived in society, their advantages, disadvantages, possible toxic behavior they may exhibit. It is true that they are as universal as possible, but on the other hand, probably every person has or has had contact with the above-mentioned matters. I liked heroes and heroines a bit more than in "Raya and the Last Dragon". It seems to me that they were better invented and presented. However, this may be because the climate in "Encanto" is so family-friendly, carefree and idyllic, which may make it more likeable. Certainly, nothing bad caught my eye during the screening.

    

    But I certainly appreciated the audio-visual setting. It's not a coincidence that I mentioned songs - as I have said many times, I usually hate them in Disney cartoons. Most of them annoy me since I was a child, but some of them make me a lot of fun. Those sung by the heroes, and in particular the heroines, belong to the latter group. I listened to them with great pleasure during the screening or writing this text. This is not only due to joyful and pleasant songs, but also to the colorful and warm graphics. CGI is very nice, there is a lot to see - nice character designs, animals and nature. As usual, I do not assess its quality, because I do not know anything about it.

    All in all, another good fairy tale that you can watch with your children. You shouldn't get bored and young people will probably have a lot of fun. I rate it 7/10.

    

    Jakieś dwa lata temu, narzekałem na filmy animowane Disneya, a tu proszę - który mi się spodobał. Jak na złość, jakby studio Myszki Miki chciało mi zrobić psikusa. Pisałem o tej bajce w newsach, ale szczerze mówiąc, to nie czekałem na premierę. Nie widziałem żadnego trailera, nie czytałem zbyt wiele o fabule, nie czytałem żadnej recenzji, więc film był dla mnie jak biała kartka papieru. Czyli miałem wobec niego zero oczekiwań, po prostu włączyłem go, by miło spędzić 1.5 godziny z niedzieli ze swoją dziewczyną. Nie był to co prawda świetny seans, który zapadł mi w pamięci jak "Soul" lub niedawno przeze mnie recenzowane "Coco", ale bawiłem się równie przyjemnie, co na "Raya and the Last Dragon". Czyli w skrócie - ładna animacja, ładne CGI, wyraziste, lecz nieskomplikowane postacie, prosty, ale zrozumiały morał, równie prosta i dobrze napisana fabuła, zaskakująco miłe piosenki, no i humor. Nie wiem czy wiernie przedstawili Kolumbijską kulturę (w przypadku "Coco" i "Raya..." było to prostsze, bo o sprawach, które pokazuje to pierwsze, czytałem już dawno temu, a w przypadku drugiego... No cóż, interesuję się ponad połowę mojego życia anime, więc chcąc nie chcąc, coś tam widziałem, słyszałem lub czytałem), zatem zakładam że było to na mniej więcej podobnym poziomie.

    

    Fabuła opowiada o rodzinie, która była zmuszona do ucieczki ze swojego rodzinnego domu. Nie dowiadujemy się z jakiego powodu, gdybym miał obstawiać, to powiedziałbym że winowajcami są junta wojskowa lub zwykli bandyci, którzy ich wygnali lub grozili śmiercią. 4-osobowa rodzina trafia do magicznego miejsca. Ojciec niestety nie mógł się cieszyć z trójką dzieci i żoną, bo zginął tuż przed tym. Świeczka dostała magicznych mocy, zbudowała im dom lub zbudowali go wraz z innymi ludźmi (wybaczcie, zapomniałem, niemniej jest to sam początek filmu), który ma magiczne moce. Coś jak dwór Nivellena z S2E1 "Witcher", ale na znacznie większą skalę - może się komunikować ze swoimi mieszkańcami, pomaga im i pozostałym ludziom w różnych codziennych czynnościach - wchodzenie na schody, schodzenie z nich, przy nakrywaniu stołu, szykowaniu się do wyjścia etc. Taki "Smart House" zasilany magią.     Taki powtarzalny schemat, który możemy często znaleźć w komiksie amerykańskim lub japońskim - to że nie masz super mocy, nie oznacza że nic nie umiesz lub to, że nie posiadasz super mocy, nie sprawia że jesteś bezwartościowy etc. Podobnie jak w przypadku pozostałych morałów, są one przedstawione na tyle prosto, by dzieci nie miały problemu z ich zrozumieniem, ale są też na tyle wyraziste, by zapisały się w pamięci widza. Również tego dorosłego, bo można tu odnaleźć rzeczy, o których zdarza się nam zapomnieć w codziennym życiu. Nie jest to poziom filmów, które wspomniałem na początku, ale jest na tyle dobrze, że człowiek znajdzie coś dla siebie. Podobnie jest z postaciami, które są prostymi, ale wyrazistymi kreacjami. Twórcy sprytnie połączyli archetypy zachowań ludzi z magią, przez co można pokazać łatwo różne rzeczy. Problemy ludzi, to jak się ich postrzega w społeczeństwie, wady, zalety, możliwe toksyczne zachowania, które mogą przejawiać. Fakt, są one maksymalnie uniwersalne, ale z drugiej strony, chyba każdy człowiek ma lub miał styczność z wyżej wymienionymi sprawami. Bohaterów i bohaterki polubiłem nieco bardziej niż w "Raya and the Last Dragon". Wydaje mi się, że lepiej ich wymyślono i przedstawiono. Aczkolwiek może to wynikać z tego, że klimat w "Encanto" jest taki rodzinny, beztroski i sielski, przez co może wzbudzić więcej sympatii. Na pewno w trakcie seansu nic złego mi się nie rzuciło w oczy.

    

    Za to na pewno doceniłem oprawę audio-wizualną. Nieprzypadkowo wspomniałem o piosenkach - jak niejednokrotnie mówiłem, zazwyczaj nie cierpię ich w bajkach Disneya. Większość z nich denerwuje mnie od dziecka, ale niektóre sprawiają mi dużo radości. Te śpiewane przez bohaterów, a w szczególności bohaterki, należą do tej drugiej grupy. Z dużą przyjemnością słuchałem ich podczas seansu, czy pisania tego tekstu. Nie jest to zasługa wyłącznie radosnych i przyjemnych dla ucha piosenek, ale również kolorowej i ciepłej oprawy graficznej. CGI jest bardzo ładne, jest na co popatrzeć - ładne projekty postaci, zwierzęta i naturę. Jak zwykle nie podejmuję się oceny jej jakości, bo nie znam się na tym.

    Reasumując, kolejna dobra bajka, którą można obejrzeć z dziećmi. Nie powinniście się nudzić, a młodzi ludzie zapewne będą mieli dużo radości. Oceniam to na 7/10.

    Hola amigos, tenia tiempo sin escribir en esta comunidad y la razón es que no me había encontrado una película que me llenará de tantos sentimientos con esta, me refiero a ENCANTO la nueva película de Disney. No quiero en esta publicación hablar mucho sobre de que se trata la película para no hacer spoiler pero si quiero contar lo que me hizo sentir en varias de sus escenas y sus personajes. Esta es una película ambientada en Colombia, eso se nota desde el principio, por el vestuario y la música, aunque en cuanto al acento me hubiera gustado que fuera más colombiano porque de verdad no lo sentí, fue muy neutro.

    La familia Madrigal luego de una tragedia fue bendecida con una casa mágica y con poderes, así que todas las nuevas generaciones a cierta edad reciben el suyo, estos son utilizados para ayudar a todo el pueblo, se puede decir que la familia mantiene en funcionamiento a Encanto.     Mi opinión y reflexión

    La verdad quisiera decir muchas cosas sobre esta película, es que desde el principio me sentí triste por Mirabel, verla esforzarse tanto para ser útil y aceptada por su familia, es como la oveja negra por no tener poderes, claro, también hay integrantes de la familia que tratan de hacerla sentir bien y amada, ella igual cada día trabaja para ser mejor y todo lo hace con entusiasmo y amor hacia su familia, pero no es la única que siente la necesidad de esforzarse de más y hacer cosas que no quiere, para estar a la altura de la familia, no es fácil ser parte de esta familia cuando todo el pueblo depende de ti y de tu descendencia. La abuela Alma Madrigal fue un personaje que al principio me hacia sentir rabiosa por la manera en la que trataba a Mirabel y como era tan exigente al querer que todo fuera perfecto, pensé que era una dictadora, luego vi el peso que llevaba en sus hombros y todo lo que había sufrido, en ese momento me volví a sentir triste y hasta entendí porque quería que nada saliera mal.

    The truth is that I would like to say many things about this film, it is that from the beginning I felt sad for Mirabel, seeing her try so hard to be useful and accepted by her family, it is like the black sheep for not having powers, of course, there are also members of the family who try to make her feel good and loved, she still works to be better every day and does everything with enthusiasm and love for her family, but she is not the only one who feels the need to try harder and do things that she does not want, To be at the height of the family, it is not easy to be part of this family when the whole town depends on you and your offspring. Grandma Alma Madrigal was a character that at first made me feel angry because of the way she treated Mirabel and because she was so demanding in wanting everything to be perfect, I thought she was a dictator, then I saw the weight she carried on her shoulders And all that I had suffered, at that moment I felt sad again and I even understood why I wanted nothing to go wrong.

    Los Madrigal son como cualquier familia, con sus diferencias y aparentemente perfecta, pero se darán cuenta que eso no es lo que importa, que también hay días lluviosos y no por eso es malo, hay que aprender a bailar bajo la lluvia, porque si vamos al caso los humanos estamos llenos de emociones, no todo el tiempo somos felices, otras veces tenemos preocupaciones y angustias, en ocasiones queremos cumplir con las expectativas de otras personas y no somos felices sino que actuamos por compromiso cargándonos de una carga superior a la que podemos sostener, solo por no quedar mal y ser perfectos.

    En fin, me gusto mucho esta película, pueden pensar que tiene mucha tristeza por como lo describí, pero es que yo soy muy empática y en esas escenas trato de entender porqué y como dicen por ahí, ponerme en los zapatos del personaje, pero esta película también tiene risas, reconciliaciones, reencuentros, aceptación y muchas canciones con un ritmo de cumbia muy sabroso. Los invito a verla si todavía no lo han hecho, a mi me encantó. Me dio mucho en que pensar y espero haber podido plasmar en esta publicación mi reflexión, sin haber incluido un spoiler.

    Estoy disfrutando con mi pequeña estos días, actualizándonos con algunas series, y viviendo los estrenos de Disney Plus. Logramos tener nuestra propia cuenta, regalo de estos días, algo pequeño pero genial.

    Justo para Navidad compartimos la nueva película animada "Encanto", una hermosa historia que nos trae los aires del país hermano Colombia, su música y colores. Valores de familia, solidaridad, convivencia, entre otros.

    Me encantó el tema central de la película, el cual toca una herencia de generaciones, en una familia que vive una lucha al ser desplazados y migrantes forzosos, justo cuando en la actualidad tantos países y su gente vive estas circunstancias. Porque a veces es necesarios tomar otros rumbos y decisiones puntuales de irse a otro lugar.

    I'm enjoying with my little one these days, catching up with some series, and living the Disney Plus releases. We managed to have our own account, gift these days, something small but great.

    Just for Christmas we share the new animated movie "Encanto", a beautiful story that brings us the airs of our brother country Colombia, its music and colors. Values of family, solidarity, coexistence, among others.

    I loved the central theme of the film, which touches on a legacy of generations, in a family that lives a struggle to be displaced and forced migrants, just when today so many countries and their people live these circumstances. Because sometimes it is necessary to take other directions and decisions to go somewhere else.

    Mágicamente nos hacen entender un mensaje de lucha, familia, reflexión, todo desde la alegría de una princesa no tan apegada a los patrones típicos de las princesas. Que nos muestra que el interior de nuestros sentimientos es un gran tesoro.

    Mirabel es un reflejo de ternura y alegría de la familia Madrigal, a pesar de no tener un don mágico tiene el don de amar y respetar los valores, además de luchar por aquello que quiere. Abuela, tíos, tías, primos, todos unidos en el sentimiento de la pequeña Mirabel.

    La música que celebra los momentos felices trasladan nuestros sentidos al lugar, pero la interpretación del tema en el clímax de la historia es tan emotivo que podemos sentir esa sensación de lucha con los personajes. Sin duda la voz de Yatra se luce en este tema.

    Magically they make us understand a message of struggle, family, reflection, all from the joy of a princess not so attached to the typical patterns of princesses. She shows us that our inner feelings are a great treasure.

    Mirabel is a reflection of tenderness and joy of the Madrigal family, despite not having a magical gift, she has the gift of loving and respecting values, besides fighting for what she wants. Abuela, tíos, tías, primos, todos unidos en el sentimiento de la pequeña Mirabel.

    Encanto es una película por la que he sentido una fascinación absoluta desde que se anunció, aunque soy venezolano no puedo negar que la cultura colombiana me atrae demasiado y que siento que es un setting que da para mucho juego para un filme de la talla de Disney o Pixar.

    ¡Hola, gente de Internet! ¿Como están? Por fin pude ver la película Encanto de Disney y aunque no me encantó como Río o Coco, si me gustó bastante, entonces se me ocurrió hacer esta review para todos ustedes.

    El film está dirigido por: Byron Howard y Jared Bush, y se desarrolla en un pueblito muy lindo llamado Encanto, que surgió a raíz de una vela mágica, otorgada por el patriarca de la familia Madrigal a su esposa antes de perecer, la cuál les proveyó a su esposa e hijos una casa mágica cuya función era cuidar de los Madrigal, además, la vela también le obsequió a los hijos de la familia, dones mágicos que con el pasar de los años fueron de generación en generación hasta llegar a Mirabel, a quién la vela no le otorgó un don, y es con ella con quién empieza la historia.

    Lo primero que vemos y lo que resulta siendo más relevante en la película, es la constante presión a la que es sometida Mirabel, ya que como mencioné antes, ella no posee ningún don mágico con el cuál pueda ayudar a la gente del pueblo como lo hace el resto de su familia, esto hace que se esfuerce demasiado, algo que más bien la vuelve un poco torpe, desencadenando los reproches de su abuela. Este aspecto en específico puede hacer que nos sintamos bastante identificados, ya que en la vida real existen todo tipo de personas con dones extraordinarios de los que carecemos, pero es inevitable compararnos con ellos, llegando incluso a desconocer nuestras propias habilidades.

This specific aspect can make us feel quite identified, since in real life there are all kinds of people with extraordinary gifts that we lack, but it's inevitable to compare ourselves with them, even to the point of not knowing our own abilities.

    El hecho de sentirse aislado o «ajeno» a la familia, como si de alguna forma no perteneciera a ella, también la encontramos en Bruno, otro de los personajes de la película, pero… Shhh! ¡No se habla de Bruno! Y cuando veas el film, entenderás a qué me refiero.

    The fact of feeling isolated or "alien" to the family, as if somehow not belonging to it, is also found in Bruno, another of the characters in the film, but... Shhh! We don't talk about Bruno! And when you see the film, you will understand what I mean.

    A pesar de que esto no parece afectar a Mirabel pues siempre se ve alegre y risueña, a medida que pasa el tiempo comprobamos como la actitud de su abuela influye en ella (haciéndola sentir inútil o incapaz, a pesar de no ser esa la intención) es como si fuese una herida que lleva en su interior y que en lugar de sanar, se va abriendo cada vez más.

    Although this doesn't seem to affect Mirabel as she is always cheerful and smiling, as time goes by we see how her grandmother's attitude influences her (making her feel useless or incapable, even though this is not the intention), it's as if it were a wound that she carries inside her and that instead of healing, it's opening up more and more.

    Aunque me gustaron las referencias a Colombia dentro de la película, la historia por otra parte, me pareció bastante floja, y si lo analizamos bien no se identifica propiamente con el país, ya que es una historia genérica que se puede adaptar a cualquier cultura, país o región, a diferencia de Coco, cuya historia principal era el día de muertos (una festividad muy propia del país) o Río con el tráfico de animales exóticas (uno de los problemas latentes de Brasil) y también nos habla de los esfuerzos que hacen las personas por conservar la naturaleza. Por esta razón me parece que hubiese sido mejor que hubiesen tomado una de las tantas leyendas o costumbres únicas y exclusivamente colombianas para usar como argumento principal.

    Although I liked the references to Colombia within the film, the story on the other hand, I found it rather weak, and if we analyze it well it doesn't properly identify with the country, since it's a generic story that can be adapted to any culture, country or region, unlike Coco, whose main story was the Day of the Dead (a very own festivity of the country) or Rio with the trafficking of exotic animals (one of the latent problems of Brazil) and also tells us about the efforts made by people to conserve nature and of course the carnival. For this reason it seems to me that it would have been better if they had taken one of the many unique and exclusively Colombian legends or customs to use as the main argument.

    Hubo variedad de acentos, aunque de una forma muy sutil, sin embargo, hubiese preferido que fuesen menos neutros para que todos los extranjeros aprendiéramos sobre la diferencia de acentos que hay dentro de Colombia. Es tonto querer mantener un acento neutro en una película que claramente se desarrolla en Colombia. Me encantó las referencias a la gastronomía, paisajes, diversidad de razas y música. Un gran acierto fue hacer a Carlos Vives el interprete del tema principal, no podía ser otro. (Hubiese estado genial que lo hubiesen incluido en la película, cantando en la fiesta de los Madrigal)

    There was a variety of accents, albeit in a very subtle way, however, I would have preferred them to be less neutral so that all of us foreigners would learn about the difference in accents within Colombia. It's silly to want to keep a neutral accent in a film that is clearly set in Colombia. I loved the references to gastronomy, landscapes, diversity of races and music. It was a great idea to make Carlos Vives the interpreter of the main theme, it couldn't have been anyone else (it would have been great if he had been included in the film, singing at the Madrigal's party).

    Haciendo énfasis en lo de la diversidad de razas, me encantó que Encanto fuese la película que rompiera el estereotipo de la «raza latina» ya que siempre nos representan de una misma manera cuando en toda Latinoamérica hay gente blanca, negra, morena, rubios, pelirrojos, castaños, pelinegros, indígenas, etc… somos todos una enorme diversidad debido a la mezcla de años atrás.

    Emphasizing the diversity of races, I loved that Encanto was the movie that broke the stereotype of the "Latin race" since we are always represented in the same way when in all Latin America there are white people, black, brown, blond, redheads, brown-haired, black-haired, indigenous, etc... we're all a huge diversity due to the mixture of years ago.

    Feliz día cinéfilos, me siento feliz porque luego de casi año y medio debido a la pandemia volví al cine con mi familia a disfrutar de la película Encanto. Siempre me gustó ir al cine y ver las películas en pantalla grande, es una experiencia diferente, ya que el solo hecho de salir y sentarte en una butaca con tus cotufas en sensacional.

    

    

    Happy moviegoers day, I feel happy because after almost a year and a half due to the pandemic I returned to the cinema with my family to enjoy the movie Encanto. I always liked going to the cinema and watching movies on the big screen, it is a different experience, since the mere fact of going out and sitting in an armchair with your popcorn is sensational.

    

    Mi hija y mis sobrinos querían ver Encanto y nos fuimos al cine, debo confesar que me encantó esta película que hoy les voy a reseñar. Encanto es una película producida por Walt Disney Pictures y Walt Disney Animations Studios y lo que más me gustó fue que está inspirada en la cultura de Colombia, país vecino cuyas tradiciones son similares a las venezolanas.

Por lo que pude investigar se Disney hizo una investigación minuciosa para poder mostrar todos estos aspectos en esta película que enaltecen los valores latinoamericanos.

    

    Les recomiendo Encanto y si tienen la oportunidad véanla en el cine y disfruten de la experiencia de ver esta maravillosa película en pantalla grande. No olviden sus cotufas hivers.
