Una serie que llegó a tener una secuela llamada Gundam Seed Destiny, y por lo que me he informado, una película el próximo año. La serie se emitió en el 2002-2003, siendo director Mitsuo Fukoda. El estudio que la produjo fue Sunrise.

Es una serie larga de alrededor de 50 capítulos mostrándonos diversos personajes como diversos aspectos de esta guerra. En cierto sentido, recuerda mucho a la serie original, aunque en este caso, habrá características propias como rumbos diferentes. La animación era lo mejor para el 2002, pero ya muestra su pasar del tiempo; aun así, siento que tiene un estilo único, especialmente en los personajes.
It is a long series of about 50 chapters showing us various characters and different aspects of this war. In a sense, it is very reminiscent of the original series, although in this case, there will be its own characteristics such as different directions. The animation was the best for 2002, but it is already showing its age; even so, I feel it has a unique style, especially in the characters.
La trama, que a diferencia de la serie del 79, enfrenta a 2 amigos, la vuelve más cercana. Es una serie que muestra muchas escenas de combate de robots, al menos unos 7 minutos de mechas en cada capítulo. A su vez, se guardan varios secretos que se irán revelando según avancen los capítulos. Un punto positivo es su música, con varias canciones que buscarán volver más memorables diversas escenas, los openings son un disfrute. En mi caso, lo que más me gusta de este título son sus personajes, ya llevo años que no volvía a ver esta serie, pero aún recuerdo claramente los nombres y personalidades de los mismos.
The plot, which unlike the '79 series, pits 2 friends against each other, makes it more relatable. It is a series that shows a lot of robot combat scenes, at least about 7 minutes of mecha in each episode. At the same time, it keeps several secrets that will be revealed as the chapters progress. A positive point is its music, with several songs that seek to make various scenes more memorable, the openings are a joy. In my case, what I like most about this title are the characters, I haven't seen this series for years, but I still clearly remember their names and personalities.
Como puntos negativos, se podría señalar algunos enemigos poco desarrollados, y que la animación en ciertos tramos es floja.

Si te interesan las series anime con robots(género mecha), esta serie es una buena opción. Planeo reseñar la serie secuela, apenas la termine de volver a ver.
