Big Trouble in Little China es un film donde reina la fantasía creativa de su director haciendo que los personajes pasen de una situación común y corriente a un extraño mundo místico Chino donde el único límite es el poder artístico de la creatividad, roza lo absurdo pero al hacerlo bien queda un producto hilarante, solo miren la miniatura, eso es arte, esta cargado de colores, situaciones, imágenes que invitan a entrar en este mundo y caer en sus geniales problemas.
El principio lo único normal en el film, de resto se sale totalmente de los parámetros y carece de lógica lo cual esta magnífico porque quiero ver eso, una vez la trama empieza a salirse de control, es cuando entramos plenamente en película y no llama la atención lo real, lo que cautiva es lo surreal.
La forma en que se presentan los personajes tiene personalidad única, tienen energía, es un film cargado, es una locomotora que como espectador te atropella y lo disfrutas, solo quieres mas y mas de todo, héroes y villanos.

Si el film tiene alguna debilidad es que su historia esta fuera de sí, es una locura con piernas pero a la vez esto que pudiera ser una debilidad en cualquier otro film es lo que se aprovecha en este porque dada una locura, se la presenta al espectador con el mayor de los estilos.

Un aspecto a resaltar es la variedad de personajes, es una aventura caótica en la cual veremos armas que define a los americanos, arte marcial que define a los asiáticos y el poder de los elementos que define la creatividad del film pero cada personaje tiene personalidad, los respetas visualmente, sobre todo a los villanos pero en el lado héroes también, hay arrogancia, hay amistad, hay sabiduría, hay belleza en esos ojos verdes, solo se me ocurren elogios para el film
Quiero rescatar esta película y darle un puntaje de 9.5 chiquitos de 10 porque demuestra que para plasmar una historia no necesitas realidad, lógica o filosofía, este film demuestra que el poder de una historia esta en la imaginación y en el como ejecutas esas imágenes que solo están en tu mente a una cámara con enfoques e imágenes creativas para magnificar un personaje y su entorno logrando así que se quede en la mente de los espectadores por décadas, esto es Big Trouble in Little China.

Los personajes que me maravillaron son LAS TRES TORMENTAS Lightning, Rain y Thunder, ese momento en que hacen acto de aparición es sublime, esta tatuado en mi corteza cerebral como si hubiera visto el film ayer y lo vi hace décadas porque los nombres, el estilo, los rayos es fantasía pura, la estructura física acompañada de vestuario místico junto con los sombreros es una genialidad, lo mejor en el film.
Quisiera mencionar que David Lo Pan y las tres tormentas dan inspiración a dos personajes de Mortal Kombat que son el hechicero y al Dios del trueno, como no hacerlo, de ahí vienen, sus creadores quedaron impresionados como yo en aquellos tiempos y por eso su esencia en ellos. Si el hechicero Lo Pan en el aspecto historia quiere ser mortal no se para que pero sirve de excusa para poder matarle de una manera bastante salida de la nada, admito no me agrado mucho, es lo único que me hizo quitarle puntos a la historia y claro ya sin su líder es lógico que las tres tormentas pierdan sentido.
A pesar de esto último, lucho por esas tres tormentas, el hombre que explota es un gif generacional, moriremos y futuras generaciones verán el gif que dejo a continuación, destaco también el uso de efectos especiales con estos tres personajes, los rayos yo los veo hoy y la nostalgia me domina, se ven dominantes, me generan respeto, aun hoy veo personajes poderosos y esto muchachones es lo que mas me gusto del film.
La trama con las muchachas de ojos verdes me gusta, le da belleza a la historia y cuando colocan a las dos convulsionando frente a cámara con los ojos idos, placer visual puro, su maquillaje cargado representa lo que es el film, lo abundante, lo exagerado, ellas me gustan y me fuera gustado que Miao Yin pesara mas pero igual disfrute la trama con ella y Gracie Law juntas en pantalla.
De resto son personajes imaginación, el monstruo que sigue en el camión de Jack Burton, el ser que representa la visual de Lo Pan y solo flota con un montón de ojos, es super extraño ambos pero ahí están para disfrute visual y vaya que lo dan porque muy divertidas sus apariciones.
