Blade es una película cuya trama es simple ya que mucho de su poder esta en el estilo, personalidad, violencia, capacidad de batalla, armas y poses de su protagonista Wesley Snipes que se fortalece y queda en el corazón casi como un film de culto para los fans de super héroes porque este film es uno que con éxito logro mostrar sólidamente el universo de los comics y hacerlo mas real.
Me encantan los 90 no solo porque es la época de mi niñez y pude disfrutar de muchos films como este, si no que aun no éramos presos de la generación de cristal actual y eso es lo que verás en este film, bebe de un comic, sí pero eso no evita el tomar su trama que se basa en vampiros y reflejarla como lo que es, seres sedientos de sangre, mutilaciones, carnicería humana y piscinas de sangre dominan el film y en esa época lo podíamos disfrutar sin tantos problemas.
Un elemento a destacar es que se había avanzado mas en efectos visuales, dos escenas de batallas son fulminantes y una de ellas que es clímax no tiene nada que envidiar en coreografías a las actuales excepto por alguno que otro detalle coreográfico que reaccionan de mas los personajes, las escenas son visualmente potentes.

La escena introducción con ese demencial baño de Sangre donde resalta la vampiresa Racquel y Blade que destroza a todos en el lugar, es en ese momento cuando decimos que esto es Blade, el personaje de los comics en su estado mas puro hecho una persona de carne y hueso. Las coreografías en esta y última escena del film cuando el ritual se revela son de aplaudir, Wesley Snipes revela sus habilidades físicas y look porque su apariencia con tatuajes, ropa y lentes son imponentes.
